We had a fantastic family stay at The Myst Dong Khoi. Perfectly located in District 1, it’s just steps from great shops, local attractions, and the riverfront. The hotel itself is full of charm, beautifully designed, and rich with Vietnamese character, which we absolutely loved. From the moment we arrived, the staff were genuinely warm and attentive. Our rooms were spacious and full of personality, with thoughtful touches throughout. The private balcony and outdoor tub were highlights, that made the stay feel extra special. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, offering a fresh and varied menu that catered to all tastes. And the rooftop pool quickly became a family favourite, with gorgeous views of the city and a tranquil atmosphere that made it the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. If we had to mention one drawback, it would be the limited pool hours, but in the grand scheme of things, it was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise magical experience. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. If you prefer boutique charm over big hotel chains, The Myst Dong Khoi is a standout. Highly recommended.

Service could not be faulted! From the minute we checked in and were greeted with a welcome drink and dried fruits to the minute we left. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated and the hotel was in a great, central location. The buffet breakfast had an amazing range of food to suit everyone in my family and the afternoon tea was an added bonus! All the staff were so lovely and helpful and were happy to assist with any requests and questions we had. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit Ho Chi Minh. Thank you

We stayed two nights at the Myst hotel in Ho-Chi-Minh–City. The hotel is located in District 1, it’s near many touristic and business locations. It’s a charming human-sized hotel : the rooms are decorated with colonial-inspiration furniture. The breakfast combined local dishes and western food such as French cheese, salmon Gravlax ; and fresh fruit. We really liked the rooftop, for the swimming pool and the view. It’s really a great experience to be there during sunset (see video). Overall, our stay there was really lovely and we had a great experience.

Absolutely stunning hotel. I love the layout and interiors with a Vietnamese feel to them. The rooms have the added bonus of a personal bath/hot tub outside The pool area is so gorgeous and the bar upstairs, with fab views of the city. Service and staff are amazing. Great location if wanting to stay in District 1. My only small criticism would be the lobby smell is quite overpowering and the gym has no towels/nothing to wipe down machines with. Otherwise would 100% recommend a stay here

The mist is a unique hotel. We love the care the hotel has taken to recreate a vintage atmosphere. The food was fantastic including the aftertoon tea with live music. Every meal was a pleasure! The beds were very comfortable and our room was quiet. In particular we enjoyed the vegetation that grew on the balconies next to the hot tub. The staff were very considerate. The gym was small but cozy and adequate above the nicely designed swimming pool and bar. We would definitely stay there again! The Carew Reid Family 💓

Stayed for one night for my honeymoon. The hospitality was just superb. When I contacted the hotel asking whether they can do some simple decoration in our room since it was our honeymoon. They did more than that. They went far and beyond by putting up the best complimentary deco and they even gave us a bouquet of roses. My wife was simply delighted. The friendly staff of the hotel, Long explained everything about the hotel to us in detail. Kudos to him for doing a great job. What more can I say about the hotel? The location is near to Opera House Saigon and other tourist spots. Nearby are restaurants and convenience stores. The room has a comfy bed with all the necessities. They even have an outdoor jacuzzi bath. The hotel itself is no short of a wonder. Combining modern and traditional elements into the design, you will be busy taking photos.

A very artistic hotel with beautiful art work and sculptures! The attention to detail in terms of hospitality is top notch! The bar at the rooftop is so chic and the cocktails are super! Breakfast spread is so beautifully laid out and the floral decor is so pretty! Nhi took such good care of us throughout our stay! The location is fantastic as well! A hidden gem which needs to be experienced!

We stayed two nights on our way to a six night stay in Cam Ranh. The Myst was recommended by a colleague and the hotel did not disappoint. From check in the experience was first class. Lovely room (Signature Balcony Suite), sensational pool, terrific bar with great happy hour, and some great inclusions. Breakfast is a highlight! Staff are all very warm and helpful. A special shout out to Long who looked after us and my family when came later to meet with us. We are looking forward to another two nights on our way back through before travelling home to Melbourne.
