The Nags Head - Review - Walthamstow - London - The Infatuation
"The words above the bar at The Nags Head read 'Pizza, Ale, Cats'. Which feels like the manifesto of this community-focused pub. While you order pints at this Walthamstow spot you’ll be stared at by a Kylie Minogue cutout and the pub’s resident cat. An ankle graze means you’re a good person—no pressure. The short menu of pizzas and burgers is a crowd-pleasing, prosecco-soaking necessity—the Topo Gigio is our favourite pizza for peak cheesiness. But you don’t really come to The Nags Head for the food. You come here to flop into faded sofas with your best friends or to pile into the spacious, multi-tiered beer garden for a cigarette break. It’s a neighbourhood pub with a huge heart, and after a few visits you’ll be welcomed like family.

Guess I am the first to review the new food / burger offerings from Baggio!
I had the Bolognese loaded fries, and hacked the menu a bit for a Cheeseburger with Parma Ham and fig jam. Both excellent, will be going back for that burger again - and also probably to try the Baggios pizza.
Pub itself was really nice. Chilled relaxed vibes, and quiet enough to chat with friends or read a book. Also nice to see a little cat wandering around and saying hello.
My only negative point is that the bar didn't have any treats I could give to the cat after she had patiently watched me eat! 🐱

Gorgeous and stunning pub. So unique and quaint with great vibes. I was treated to a tour of the place - by the lovely Ryan and was advised about the great DJ sets and parties on the weekends. A new favourite pub for sure. Beautiful outside space, roasts on Sunday and a pizza menu the rest of the week - what a treat!

Great local pub with excellent pizza. We had four different pizzas and enjoyed them all. Thin crust, high quality ingredients and overall a hit with everyone in the family. Good selection of beers on tap and nice benches out front for those who prefer to eat outside. Enjoyed the two cats and the fox that came by while I was waiting for my pizza.

Loved this pub. The pizza was great. The DJ better and the atmosphere is awesome. Love the sense of style. Will be making it my local!

Friendly staff, reasonable prices, great vibes, big beer garden and whimsical decor. Plus they have 2 pub cats so what's not to love!?

Quirky suburban pub in a residential area with a good live funk/jazz band from time to time. Decent variety of craft beers and lagers and a suitable food menu. The loaded chilli fries and the diavolo pizza were nice. Also has a large (semi-)outdoor area at the back (it may or may not be partially covered) which has vibey lighting.

Awful bar staff. I asked on a Saturday night what time they closed at about quarter to 11 and they said 11.20 and confirmed this but when I tired to order a simple drink ie glass of wine, at 11 they said absolutely not. What a way to treat locals who come here ALL THE TIME. Weren’t even nice about it. As if I was massively imposing with having a drink during the additional 20 additional minutes of opening time. Train your bar staff better.

Lovely pub, nice set up, good atmosphere.
We enjoyed our food and drinks there last night surrounded by nice people we don’t know, but energy was really good and everyone was friendly,it was such a refreshing evening.
