I am a big fan of environmentally friendly stores. This store is package free. Don't worry if you forget your jars. there are community donated jars that have been sanitize for use! The staff here is friendly and helpful. You can find a little bit of everything here from household cleaning to food items. Perfect place for single people as you can even buy one egg at a time.

This is definitely favorite place to do grocery shopping! I used to get everything from the bulk section of Winco, so I was nervous when I saw how small Naked Grocer is when I first shopped there four months ago. However, it packs a huge punch. There's a great variety of products, and I'm able to get all of my dry goods here without creating waste. They even have a great selection of refrigerated goods, produce, cleaning solutions, fresh-ground nut butters, baked goods, personal care products, and more. On top of the shopping options, everyone who works here is so friendly. Any employee has always been quick to help me fill my containers or answer questions. They are continuously improving the shopping experience, too. I can't sing enough praises about The Naked Grocer.

B.Y.O.BAG! Can you say eco-gasm? A beautifully curated paradise of sustainable market-fare, The Naked Grocer is everything local and sustainable we’ve been waiting for. Dozens of container-free grain and food bins, household cleaners, cosmetics, housewares, hair/body-care, produce, meats and vegetables and other selections. Glass containers are available to purchase or borrow for a $2 deposit, a selection of reusable bags are also available for purchase. There is a large Ridwell bin for community use. In addition, there is a daily rotation of bread and pastries. Many selections are local. The store is well laid out with a weigh station. Can’t wait to return!! A must visit for the modern living enthusiast. Cash, credit and Apple Pay friendly!

Google
An exceptionally thoughtful bulk shopping experience! They’ve really thought about all the minor annoyances of buying in bulk and have clever solutions for all: tons of funnels in multiple sizes, smart tags that remembers your container’s tare weight and paper bags in a variety of sizes with washi tape for a plastic-free closure. They have a ton of variety in sugars, flours, nuts and more, so if a recipe you want to make calls for something specific odds are you can get exactly how much you need here!

Google
Best store EVER - It's beautifully set up and offers such a pleasant shopping experience, the products are high quality and affordable, everyone I've interacted with there has been super warm and helpful, and most importantly it's making it easy to avoid single use plastics and reduce unnecessary waste!

Google
Amazing bulk grocery store that also offers ready to eat/prepared food and sustainable lifestyle and house items. I get my spices, grains, and cleaning liquids here. Bring your own containers to save some $, but they also have reusable jars for a $2 deposit or paper bags if you don’t have any containers. Follow them on IG since they update their stories often of what they have available for prepared foods and merch! Awesome addition to the neighborhood.

I am totally obsessed with The Naked Grocer. I have been trying to work on not wasting as much and they carry some of my favorite brands of body care items! I’m really excited to get more stuff from their huge bulk section the next time I go. They also have the cheapest avocados I have seen in awhile!

Yelp
I love this no waste sustainable grocer for my daily fresh produce and bulk items. But once the cafe opened I eat here almost daily for lunch! A very thoughtful and well curated menu keeps me feeling great when I head back to work. Highly recommend putting a jammy egg in literally anything.

Yelp
The Naked Grocer is leading the charge is no waste shopping! This place recently popped up in the cap hill neighborhood and should be a must stop spot for everyone! You bring your own containers, weigh them, and then fill them with anything your like. At check out they subtract the weight of the container and charge you for the contents of the container. If you don't have containers on hand, they also offer $2 loaner jars that you can pay for, bring home, and bring back to get you $2 back! Additionally, this place is FULL of items to help you transition into a no waste shopper! It has everything from reusable bags, refillable cleaning solutions and soap stations, reusable menstrual products, and no waste makeup. PLEASE go support this place. We need more no waste shops like this one!

Yelp
I was excited to learn that The Naked Grocer was adding a cafe! I had the best takeaway lunch from there today. A yummy red lentil soup topped with pickled onions, served with toasted bread (I subbed the focaccia for an amazing rustic gluten free bread that you can also purchase from there as well). I can't wait to go back for the avocado toast and enjoy their very cute dining area.

Yelp
I am very excited about this new Zero Waste store! Located on Pine and Boylston. They have everything from liquid detergent, hand soap, chopped and frozen fruit, sunscreen, oils, spices and more. This place is a gift to us all. I recommend you bring in your refillable containers but if you don't have own, looks like they have some supplies to help get you started. They also sell eco friendly products. This store has so much to offer to get ready to have fun, I sure did!

Yelp
Finally made it to this new Zero Waste bulk store, and I love it so much! It's a little out of the way for me but is so worth the drive! Wish I lived in the neighborhood, because this store almost has it all. So many spices, flours, legumes, pasta, grains, fried fruit, frozen fruit, tofu, cleaning and laundry supplies, etc, etc! I appreciate being able to use my own containers and that everything edible is organic. Thank you, Naked Grocer, I appreciate you!!

Yelp
Seattle is so lucky to have this gem of a zero waste grocery store & now cafe! The new food menu makes me so happy and everything is amazing. Clean ingredients, so fresh & delicious. My new staple cafe!

Yelp
March your butt to the naked grocer and change the world. Shopping bulk never felt so good. The store is cheerful, neighborly, cozy, and you're welcomed upon arrival. As a mom striving to reduce my waste footprint, I am appreciative at the staples they stock that enable me to forego single use plastic! Deodorant, honey, peanut butter, ACV, olive oil, vanilla, laundry detergent, sunblock, dog and cat treats, cocoa powder, counter spray, hand sanitizer, dish washer detergent, shampoo, hand soap, frozen mangoes, tofu, frozen blueberries and much much more can all be purchased bulk. Better yet, you can fill your OWN containers/jars, or borrow from their community jar collection! They also have paper bags. Looking to build a solid "BYO" collection? Look no further. With 14M tons of plastic ending up in our oceans each year, this is the perfect place to build your starter kit of reusable take out containers, straws and cutlery. From the 20 items I listed above, imagine the dent you can make shopping bulk on a regular basis and avoiding single-use plastic. Also, try the Tom Thumb chocolate bars (sustainably wrapped!) and the Something and Nothing sodas. If you're wanting a refreshing drink while making dinner and want to skip the alcohol, these make a nice substitute! When you leave the store, your bags may be heavy, but your conscience will be light because you're finding ways to buy yummy stuff and reduce unnecessary waste. Bravo!

Yelp
Took a few tries, but I'm learning to love this concept: as little packaging as possible. I even remember to bring my own reusable containers! Mom, am I a hippie now? The owner used to work at a big food import business so she knows how to stock quality products. Ridiculous selection of flours and grains, all kinds of cool non-food products and beautiful local produce. Did I mention top-notch baked goods? It's way more than a bulk food store; you can fully shop for a nice dinner.
