The Neon Loon

Love everything about this place!! The energy, positivity, the vibe- the food is like no other! Great little knickknacks to purchase that bring laughter and very truthful! My daughter said her breakfast sandwich was best ever!!

My first visit to this awesome coffee shop with great breakfast burritos (that’s all I’ve ordered) is definitely a place to visit. The owner and staff are terrific.

We were so impressed by the quality presentation of the food! I had a delicious veggie wrap with guacamole an hummus filled with grated farm fresh veggies . My husbsnd had a tasty pastrami and cheese sandwitch with special request sourdough bread. I also had an italian soda that was so refreshinly delicious and not too sweet. Both dishes came with a little cup of fresh fruit on the side. We had lunch outside right next to a beautiful flower pots but the inside had several tables too. Service was excellent and attentive. We did not have dessert, but they did have a freezer with delicious lookina gelato. Small place but highly recommend!

Lovely restaurant and cafe. Pretty impressive selection of food and drinks for such a small town. They also have free WiFi, fun small gifts and a quaint but modern decor.

Neon Loon is the real deal. Expertly roasted beans, perfectly pulled shots, real cream—not little shelf-stable creamers. If you know the difference between dark and burnt, between body and bitterness—you’ll feel at home here. This is the kind of place where coffee isn’t a trend, it’s a craft.

Caramel latte and chorizo burrito with smokey salsa was on point. Great service atmosphere and food. I'd give this place a higher rating if I could. If you're ever in starbuck stop in and get some food before you head out on the boat.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We went camping at glacial lakes state park and decided to stop by town for a nice beach and things to do. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. I loved the caramel macchiato ish, we came back every morning for it and also tried the Italian sodas, which were also phenomenal. It's been 7 months since we visited and I can't stop thinking about it. Very friendly staff and cute items for purchase!

Clean, upbeat little coffee spot...an unexpected find in this lakeside corner of rural Midwest Minnesota. After staying at the local motel overnight, I walked my huz and three teenagers over to the neon loon for breakfast. We ordered a latte, a miel latte, a London fog latte, a mango Boba tea, two breakfast burritos, a breakfast, croissant, avocado toast, and a chicken bacon ranch wrap. We dined in and the food was served on plates with fresh fruit or chips. The food was freshly made and tasted great! Everyone seem to be satisfied with their drinks/coffee. The staff was friendly and accommodating. There were no complaints from anyone in my crew. I would definitely come back again.

My wife and I love the neon loon, we come to the lake for a week every year. We were so happy to find great coffee in Starbuck. Great Breve and wonderful mochas. Top notch friendly staff
