"By the third day, we have to get groceries because it’s more affordable and we like grilling at the house. So we’ll go to our favorite local fish market, the Net Result, which is in Vineyard Haven and near Stop and Shop. We’ll buy jumbo shrimp there and salmon and soft-shell crab. It’s really great because the fish is so fresh, and everyone is so nice."

Google
Fresh seafood market that also has cooked food to order. No inside seating, but several picnic tables with umbrellas outside to sit at or do take-away. We got an order of the fish tacos and the shrimp tacos. Each order comes with two tacos – very fully filled. Wonderful sauce and toppings (contained corn, peppers, tomatoes, onions, black beans – be aware if you don’t like all those type of things) on both. Shrimp and fish were fresh and were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Good value for Vineyard Haven.

We had a lunch here in the Net Result and really enjoyed it. It actually is a shop too but you can buy food inside or at the windows and have it on the table outside. Fairly priced so we were positively surprised as MV can be really expensive. This place comes highly recommended from us!

This place sucks now. Didn’t realize it was bought out by Santoro, notorious restaurant killer of the island. Employees were great. Quality of ingredients was bad. Just another restaurant destroyed by a big corporation buying it. Frozen food, not fresh, etc. Got the worst fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had, dry and could barely bite into it. Fish and chips was terrible as well. Only good thing we had was the sushi which is obviously a separate group from santoro hospitality Save your money and go elsewhere. John’s fish market has a far better fresh menu for same or less price!

Google
Travellers, the net result is a seafood take-out restaurant with a fish store inside. Or the fish store also serves take out food. Which ever is the case give this a try. The flounder sandwich is wonderful. The fish is fresh and perfectly fried lightly and then stuffed into the bun. All the fried foods are fresh and delicious. The seafood is amazing too. The real stars are the ready to go soups and items that are made in house and stock the shelves. The lobster bisque is fantastic. A sandwich, lobster bisque, and the gorgeous sunsets is all anyone really needs. Check it out. We recommend. TLDR excellent fried and fresh seafood

Google
I give this place a 1. Been living on cape cod my whole life. I don't think I have been to one seafood place that looks at you like you have 5 heads when you ask for butter for the stuffed quahog. Everyone was just standing around and look at you or staring off into space. They had the new girl doing all the work and when she asked for help the person she asked just stood there and did nothing. The quahog was bland with no flavor, all stuffing. Worse I've had. Seems like it's froze from a warehouse. Definitely not a cape cod quahog. Not worth the money at all.

Google
Love it. Fresh and one of the best deals on the island. The fish dog is soooo good. Haddock on a toasted hot dog bun. Just yummy! We've had many meals here. Great staff too!

Yelp
Our family has been buying lobsters from The Net Result for decades (literally) because they are the best . This past week we decided to make an actual visit there to try their lobster rolls and enjoy the patio area. First of all, as an FYI, it's BYOB, which we wish we would have known. You order inside and then they call your number through the window, and the wait isn't too bad. The lobster rolls--and we got both hot and cold--were amazing. Seriously some of the best that we've ever had with fresh meat and neither too much butter nor too much mayo respectively. Loved the bits of celery for crunch on the cold one too, as well as the fact that the bread is thin enough for eating but sturdy enough to hold up against the lobster, which is indeed piled on. Of course both items are almost $30, which is sheer insanity, but we did feel like they were worth it. Our daughter got the fish and chips and we want to shout out the fries, which were shockingly delicious and addictive. The fish was less impressive because it needed salt (a lot) and did not taste all that crisp, but the meat inside was nicely cooked and tasted fresh. The Pop-pop got a fish sandwich that looked tasty and the dynamite roll, which we sampled and loved. Honestly, this would have been a very happy four star review if not for the experience one of us had with one of her salads. They had a bunch of bowls listed with various ingredients in it, but it came out with rice (which was not listed and not wanted) and when she brought it in to be redone, the staff scoffed at her, argued, and were flagrantly rude about it. After dropping over $150 and being part of a loyal fresh seafood customer family for so many years, it was insulting and completely soured the experience. We're not saying that we won't come back (we will because everything else was great), but if management is reading this, please train your staff on basic customer service.

Yelp
The Net Result was a good place for us to grab lunch after getting off the ferry in Vineyard Haven. They are walking distance from the ferry. They are a fish market and they also have a small restaurant with outdoor seating on picnic tables. They were a busy place as we arrived just before noon. You order inside, when your order is ready, they open the window to call out your number and give you your food. We ordered a snack of fried clam belly roll and a crabcake. The clam belly roll was full of perfectly fried clams. It was large enough for my wife and I to share. I liked it. The crabcake was okay, I've had better. The Net Result was a good place with a good view.

Yelp
Had the lobster roll and the Cajun shrimp tacos My bf said the lobster roll was good. The tacos were more a southwestern style than Cajun they were okay. We noticed a lot of pple ordered the whole lobster. I'm sure the other items maybe good. The service was as expected and we sat outside.

Yelp
Down the tubes. I am not sure what happened to the Net Result fast food side, but it's not good. Over the last year we have gravitated to Sandy's during the summer. I did not take note but I was happy because the food seem to be going downhill at the Net Result. Today I spent $38 on a fried clam plate which is about average. I sent the picture of it to my family and to read immediately received responses that included a litany of other places that are way better. That is not the response I was hoping for, I was hoping to cheese them and make them jealous. Even worse the fried clams are greasy and tasteless. Well, the only taste is grease in fact this so greasy I think I'm gonna chuck the entire plate and go get something else to eat elsewhere. That is not something I normally do with a $38 plate but I can tell I was going to do is make me sick . The french fries have always been subpar. This is the last time I'll be coming to the net result for a while they getting a two star because they clam chowder is actually good. I wish I ordered that.

Yelp
Best lobster roll I've had in two years at least and at $26.00 well worth it! Fresh, sweet, toasted, buttered roll and lightly dressed! We also shared a fried haddock wrap which was delicious!!! We also took home frozen shrimp on sale 2lbs for $30! Friendly service!

Yelp
Seafood store/seafood restaurant. Picnic table atmosphere with to go service and an amazing, fresh, good value eatery. Not an experience you want to miss if you love fresh seafood.

Yelp
Picked up lobsters and the steamed them and cracked the shells . Gave them to me piping hot took home and had a great lunch!

Dawn S.

Yelp
Their sushi is top notch!! Delicious, fresh and made right there. The young man was very helpful and attentive that makes it. The older lady at the counter was not very friendly but the sushi made up for it. There are picnic tables outside to eat on. However no tables inside.

Yelp
Very good and one my favourites for steamers already made , Wonderful place for fresh fish and sushi to,

Yelp
Besides having the best name for a fish market ever, the Net sells very fresh fish, lobster, clams, and the best clam chowder on the Vineyard, and second best fried shrimp...sorry Nancy's has the best

Yelp
Visited Martha's Vineyard for the first time in a while and stumbled upon this place. For the island, this was the cheapest you'll get for seafood that I could find! The food was good and it was served nice and hot. I got the fish and chips which were tasty; the seafood was pretty good quality. I also really liked their coleslaw and I'm not the biggest fan of coleslaw! It wasn't too wet or drippy and mayonnaise was not overpowering. You could tell it was made in-house alongside the tartar sauce. I really appreciated how they gave us multiple containers of tartar sauce. The tartar sauce was tasty as well. I got a crab cake as an appetizer and it was just okay. It was fresh and you could see bits of real crab, but it was on the thinner end and was missing the crunch/crispy factor I was looking for. I thought it was interesting there was sushi there, but I guess it's probably really fresh. The Net Result was tasty and is near where the ferry drops you off so it's a really walkable distance. I liked how there was outdoor seating as well (no indoor seating, which is ok). Service was good and we got our food quickly. I'd come to the Net Result again and try their other seafood items!

H B.

Yelp
Let me say this, the food is fresh. They have items you can purchase and cook at home. And they have fresh items they prepare..I was confused when I asked the lady behind the counter if they would steam the shrimp and she just replied no. She never elaborated to say, that they don't steam shrimp but could cook the lobster. Staff need to be constantly provided feedback on how to interact with customers or the owners lose business. All said, I'd go back.

Rachelle E.

Yelp
Got a sautéed lobster roll with hot butter - or was supposed to. The roll definitely had 0 butter on it and no flavor. The bread was great and the amount of meat was great but there was 0 flavor. Really disappointing experience after spending $30.

Karen S.

Yelp
Prices are outrageous for the food that they serve. Perhaps we ordered the wrong thing but a salmon bowl and a tuna poke bowl were both filled to the brim with cold, white rice and barely any fish. What a disappointment.
google avatar

Austin K.

Yelp
Be prepared for a long wait even after you place the order. We got the fried oysters, clams, and shrimps as well as the stuffed quahog. All were good but the shrimp tasted like it was slightly spoiled. My girlfriend didn't really taste it in that way, but it seemed like it wasn't fresh to me. I didn't think I liked fried clams/oysters, so these surprised me. Maybe it was the batter or the way they fried it but it was very tasty.
google avatar

Tansy W.

Yelp
Very solid. We got a steamed lobster that was delicious (but a tad over cooked) and a dozen raw oysters, which were also good but pricey ($30 as compared to $21 if you go to Larsen's fish market in Menemsha). Appreciated there was plenty of outdoor seating available (benches with umbrella coverings).
google avatar

Yelp
Their lobster rolls are to die for. Seriously so amazing. Instead of mayo they use hot butter and I wish I could order one every night of the week because I totally would. They give you a massive amount of lobster on the roll; it's almost too big to eat! Besides that, their other seafood is really good as well. It all tastes fresh and their food is never overly greasy. I also like their sushi options. It is a great place to grab a quick bite and it's one of my favorites on the island.
google avatar

Alan J.

Yelp
Amazing as always. Come here multiple times each trip to the island. We love their shrimp rolls, lobster rolls, frozen crab cakes and crabby Pattie's, sushi, you name it, ITS AMAZING. THE NET RESULT IS THE BEST!
google avatar

Diana N.

Yelp
HUGE fan of The Net Result. Seafood is very fair for what you order. I had the fried whole clams and my partner had a salmon burger. Everything was fresh and super flavorful. This is the kind of place I would expect and would want to go back to every time I am in the area. Service is great and super helpful. There aren't any tables inside but the bench area is plentiful.
google avatar

Fiona L.

Yelp
I was so disappointed. I ordered the steamers and they were entirely inedible. Super sandy, with the majority being cracked shells. You can get steamers at a bunch of restaurants now and they are CLEANED and served with white wine. the stuffed quahog was pretty good. Sizable with good bits of meat in it. My boyfriend had the fish and chips, and he enjoyed that thoroughly. It was a good portion as well. Don't order the steamers!
google avatar

Bob D.

Yelp
Excellent fresh fish, one of the best on the island We go there from Oak Bluffs MV to Vineyard Haven to get 10 pieces of salmon for us seawater salmon every year and it is the best
google avatar

Hailey M.

Yelp
Very fresh seafood! Lobster was delicious with large chunks of lobster and claw meat. Crab cake sandwich was perfectly fried and very tasty. The French fries were piping hot and very good! Ambiance is very casual with lots of outdoor seating.
google avatar

Ariadna A.

Yelp
I was there by passing. 1. Customer service was not good. We ordered 18 oysters and got 6. The girl was not paying attention. We had to go back inside, make a line and order again the rest. 2. They oysters are good. I recommend them 3. The butter lobster roll was DRY and had no butter!!! Do not order it here! 4. The ambiance was alright. Outdoor sitting. It was noisy because of construction, but to no fault of the place. I would go elsewhere. I won't be back
google avatar

Lan T.

Yelp
The food was good, but pricey in my opinion! Chicken tenders was almost $16 for 4 pieces of chicken & a lot of fries. Lobster roll was $28 - was cold and premade - was wrapped and sitting in the fridge to be served, but it was tasty and a lot of lobster!! I just wish there was an option for it to be freshly made so that the bread would not be cold.

Tiffany L.

Yelp
Seafood is pricey but this place is a bargain for what you get. It's always hot and fresh. The lobster bisque is always AMAZING. It always needs a pinch of salt but I get it at least twice every time we come to the island, and I buy it cold in the market section to make quick lobster Mac n cheese. It's also the best place to get lobster on the island whether they cook it or you take it home. The seating is outside only on picnic tables, right across from Vineyard Sound; the quintessential Vineyard experience.

Yelp
So to start, I've been going here for years when we have visited MV. And I mean decades when I say years. Their fresh seafood is second to none and employee knowledge is top notch. Thus the 3 stars... This review is about their takeout, which was abysmal at best. Yes, I know the world is short staffed...but when I order a single plate of steamers and it takes 53 minutes, that's just unacceptable. And I'm not alone. I had countless conversations with others tonight who had a similar experience, meanwhile we watched others who ordered after us with seemingly similar small orders jet in, order, and jet out. I politely asked the woman at the pickup window the status of my order at the 40 minute mark - after giving her my order number she asked the kitchen, who gave her some response that I couldn't hear, and she said NOTHING back to me. When 50 minutes hit, I was less than amused and asked again and pointed out the amount of time lapsed. 3 minutes later she plopped my order on the counter and said here you go, in a snide manner. Not even a sorry for the wait. Hard pass for us on take out going forward.
google avatar

Christie L.

Yelp
All the fresh and fried seafood you could want on MV. The seafood was fresh but I was disappointed with how oily the fried fish and scallops were. They were not crispy and more soggy than anything. The fries were good though. Lobster bisque has a good flavor but it's the kind where the lobster is minced very fine. No chunks just super fine. Not my preferred bisque.
google avatar

Isabelle Z.

Yelp
Highlight of our MV trip! Delicious, remarkably fresh seafood for relatively cheap. We came here twice, it was so good. The calamari was possibly the best I've ever had--perfectly fried to a crisp while the calamari was tender and fresh. (Just wish they'd serve tartar sauce with it.) The steamers were INCREDIBLE. They were surprisingly sweet, and had been steamed for the perfect length of time--meaty but not overcooked. Dipping them in butter was like heaven. The fish without chips we could've skipped, but the fried oysters and scallops were also a delight. My friends who ordered the soft shell crab sandwich, which was a special, absolutely loved it. The bisque and chowder are also good. Their lobster roll is pretty good though not standout. We also ordered some salmon, sole, and steamers at their fish market--also super delicious and fresh! If you are in the Vineyard, make sure to stop here.

Yelp
Had the Lobster, steamers and clam chouda (Chowder) it was so fresh. I highly recommend this little jewel. They offer such a nice variety. The only reason I didn't take pictures was because I was enjoying all the delicious seafood! Don't miss this place! My Son had a burger, He's not a seafood foodie. He said it was delicious. We loved it! The Lobster tasted like it just came out of the ocean.
google avatar

Siobhan N.

Yelp
One of my regular spots! In season, a whole lobster is $18-20, you can't beat it! Along with a fork and hot butter, it's just magnificent The Lobster rolls are great, Calamari is fresh and crispy, Spicy Tuna Roll is good, and the fries are real fresh potato, hot and perfectly salted I can't remember what else I've had here, but they have a good menu selection and I'm sure it's all pretty good!

Yelp
Finally a place that retains the Vineyard feel, charm, history and name. While the island seems to be replacing its history with foo foo names and finer dining restaurants to cater to the millionaires and billionaires the character and charm remains evident at The Net Result. Picnic tables, umbrellas to shield you from the sun and just people with the same need, good seafood. You can get everything from one of the best bowls of chowder on the island to amazing fresh sushi prepared right in front of you. You can opt for a clean fresh green salad and adorn it with shrimp or tuna and then park your unmasked keister on a picnic table to devour your seafood craving. I brought a bottle of wine with dinner since this town allows you to bring your own if the restaurant does not have a alcohol license. The Net Result does not. What it does have though is a seafood market for you to go back in and take fresh product home with you. One of the true remaining down to earth must do locations on the Vineyard.

Yelp
I was happy to get food from this local take-out favorite. My choices I thought were really good. I really enjoyed my fish sandwich and fried shrimp. Yum... The other folks in my party were not as impressed by the lobster roll, calamari, and chowder. I think their expression was, "not so great." Well you can't please everyone, so...
google avatar

Julie K.

Yelp
Definitely one of the cheaper options in Martha's Vineyard if you can believe it! Got lobster roll and clam chowder. The lobster roll was filled to the rim of the bun with lobster! Everything was fresh and delicious and it's conveniently located less than a 5 min walk from the port! Order inside and picked up outside through a pick-up window. Parking may be slim during the peak months. Only down side is they have one unisex bathroom, but it's a small place, I'm sure rent per square footage around here is through the roof. Highly recommend would definitely be back!
google avatar

Chris E.

Yelp
Enjoyed the peel and eat shrimp.... The cocktail sauce I love the sushi was fresh. They have fresh seafood
google avatar

Brianna W.

Yelp
The food was good, most of the food is best served HOT which it is, be sure to eat it HOT. Service is standard for the Vineyard. One of the better places on the island for food.

Irene B.

Yelp
Great food! Love their Haddock Chowder, Lobster Bisque and all of their seafood choices. They offer specials everyday and accommodate you whether you are eating there or taking out.
google avatar

Jim H.

Yelp
Let's face it. When you're on Martha's Vineyard, you're going to get great seafood no matter where you buy it. However, for superior service and convenience, if you're staying in Oak Bluffs, Tisbury or Vineyard Haven, the Net Result is the place to go. Everything they make is so fresh and delicious, but I would strongly recommend getting a swordfish sandwich with your seafood order to eat right away. Trust me.
google avatar

Gary P.

Yelp
This is not a bad place, but if you are a seafood restaurant and you offer crab cakes, Crab Surimi IS NOT CRAB!!!!!! I found some Nice dyed crimson strands of fake crab in my Single cake, $13.99 crab-less cake sandwich. Others had the fish sandwich which was bland. I'm starting to see a bland trendiness on the island. Their French fries were good.

Bonnie K.

Yelp
4.5 Excellent service. Quality of food was great. Portion size was good. Had MKT clam plate, lobster roll hot and chowder. All excellent
google avatar

Deborah P.

Yelp
If you go to MV then TNR is probably a staple for take out. Glad to see that they have employed a number of new friendly staff. Never disappointed yet pricey - but you are in the Vineyard. To go menu: -Fish sandwich (large pieces) -Lobster roll (packed w lobster - hot /cold) -Fried oysters (not over battered) -Fried clams - same -Fries- kids fav -Chowder -adult fav -
google avatar

Katie N.

Yelp
This is a great, quick seafood place less than 1/2 mile from the vineyard haven drop off spot. They have a great menu with fairly good prices. Lobster rolls were less than $20 and I would give them a total 5 star! The clam chowder was good, but kind of thin. I would give that 4 stars. They also have sushi, boiled seafood and much more. Porch seating with a beautiful view, quick serve and very good. Perfect place to stop, even if you are riding your bikes around the island.

Tola O.

Yelp
Good food Good customer service Good Environment Fish & Chips Clam Chowder Very good
google avatar

Anthony R.

Yelp
Great location to get the best quality of seafood. Plus get lunch or sushi while you are there. Great fish sandwiches, fried clams or scallops.

Stacy S.

Yelp
Casual, delicious, oysters were perfect, fast. Hot lobster roll, clam chowder and oysters were perfect order.
google avatar

Sharon N.

Yelp
They shucked a dozen oysters right before closing for me and were very friendly and gracious about it! And the oysters were delicious!
google avatar

James L.

Yelp
Fantastic seafood spot in Vineyard Haven, Martha's Vineyard. A seafood market that also serves delicious fresh food throughout the day!! Came in for lunch and were blown away!!! Kept it simple and went with a couple of lobster rolls and a large clam chowder, along with a couple of Gatorade's we paid about $50, which considering the quality of the food, was a STEAL!!!! Lobster meat was seasoned nicely and the chowda' was fabulous!!!! It's mainly outdoor seating but umbrellas and trees create shade during the hot months. Will definitely return whenever I'm lucky enough to revisit the beautiful Martha's Vineyard!!

Veronica V.

Yelp
Lobster bake, shrimp, lobster roll are all a MUST! I go every time I am on the island and recently spent a week with family. The family ate there 3 times that week so that is saying something!

Laurie B.

Yelp
Been going here forever. Damn disappointed with the overcooked lobsters we ordered. Come on folks! Nothing worse than a chewy lobster. If you go, just make sure you tell them that if they are overcooked you're bringing them back.
google avatar

Erwin F.

Yelp
Disappointing. Ordered the fried clams. They were overcooked and ended up being really chewy and the flavor was messed up. My mother in law got the clams too but came out better. Not sure what happened, but I'd appreciate more consistency.
