The Nikolai Hotel Hamburg - Leonardo Limited Edition

Beautiful boutique hotel in an amazing location, super friendly and helpful staff (I was able to check in earlier), tasty breakfast with a variety of options. Modern room, with an unusual yet comfortable solution for the shower, toilet, and sink. The only issue was that the room was quite loud and acoustic. Both nights I was woken up by very loud clicking/electronic noises in the middle of the night; toilet flushing from other rooms could be heard as well.

Our stay at The Nikolai Hotel in Hamburg was outstanding from start to finish. The rooms were incredibly modern—comfortable, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. We were lucky enough to have a room with a view of the water, which made the experience even more special. Waking up to that view each morning was one of the highlights of our trip. The staff was equally impressive. Everyone we interacted with was welcoming, professional, and eager to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It’s clear that hospitality is a priority here, and it really made a difference.

Loved this hotel. Beautiful interiors, and felt quite luxurious. We didn't like the layout of the room, the half bedroom, half bathroom mix was just weird. But other than that everything was lovely. Would have been nice to be able to have roomservice. All staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean. We really enjoyed the breakfast service. We will for sure use this hotel again when we come back to Hamburg. Was very close to everything, and still nice and quiet.

Loved the location, breakfast and obliging staff. However, having no bathroom and a toilet with the sensor light turrning off leaving us in the dark, was not good. The room was not always cleaned well either with dust on the bedheads and the floor not cleaned daily.

Beautiful hotels are a lot in this world but this one … is even more , interior design is amazing has a positive vibe! Reception ecelctic style 10+ ! Close to the city center but away from noise! High recommended!!

The staff was very attentive and the rooms were exceptionally clean. I will definitely return to this hotel if I'm ever in Hamburg. The bell man and the front staff was very friendly.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for six nights. We received wonderful service! Luis and Andre' went out of their way to make suggestions on places to visit, restaurants, and helped me line up a good beauty shop. Everyone was nice Moritz, Kerstin, Tamara, and Florian helped in everyway possible. Natalie is great in the restaurant. She makes sure the customers are satisfied. The food was good and my husband loved the coffee! Our room was clean and modern. There is free high speed Wi-Fi and a 24-hour front desk. It is a charming hotel. If you are in Hamburg, we recommend this hotel. The setting and location is wonderful!

Superb hotel, Sebastian et al are excellent hosts. New hotel, fantastic location close to center of Hamburg in the new Hafen city development. Lovely clean and modern rooms. Missing Hamburg already
