10 Best Atlanta Restaurants on Uber Eats | Eater

"If you’re watching a big game with friends and not scarfing down fried bar grub, you’re doing it wrong. Thankfully, snacks from this Midtown mainstay can be at your door in a matter of minutes. Do it right with an order of their World Famous Totchos, tater tots piled high with a variety of toppings. The Nacho Totchos are the best of both worlds with grilled chicken, pico de gallo, and sour cream. And of course, no game-watching party is complete without wings, so grab an order or two of the house-smoked chicken wings." - Vox Creative

The Nook On Piedmont Park - Review - Midtown - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"There’s one main reason you go to The Nook and it’s the tater tot nachos. The breakfast version with sausage gravy and an egg has the power to bring you back from the dead, and if that doesn’t work, split one of their 128-ounce fishbowl drinks with your friends. There are also normal sized cocktails for the days when a Mega Mule with 16 ounces of vodka isn’t required." - Sarah Bailey

I love The Nook. My bloody mary was awesome! The atmosphere was great, we sat outside in the covered dining area. Our server was great. I ordered the spicy hash which was delicious. My cousin ordered waffles and she loved them too. I'd definitely go back when I'm in Atlanta again. The Nook had a great vibe, reasonable prices, and great service.

Google
The food was good. We shared the chicken burger, Mac n cheese & nacho totchos. Would have like a bit more protein on the totchos but the overall, delicious!

Google
Got there and the atmosphere was amazing, it was nice and chill and everyone seemed super happy just having a nice time. I got the tots and they were 10/10 worth all of the hype lol. There was a little bit of an incident where some water got spilt on my leg but the staff were super nice and helped with it and even sat there and just talked to u if they had time which in my opinion is awesome.

Google
You have to try the totcho's, they're amazing! I had the pulled pork totcho's but what was absolutely amazing was the andouille grits! Service was great and the outside patio was great ambiance. Will definitely not think twice about coming back the next time we're in Atlanta!! Sallie L was great!

13 years since my last review, I'm getting older. When I saw the reviews, it broke my heart. A place I hold so dear to my heart which reminds me of kickball in piedmont park, flirting, summer and having too many....what happened? Did it go downhill, is this a place I held dear, no longer holds its charm? Hell naw, people just suck and so don't listen to their reviews. The Nook is still an Atlanta institution with great bar food and ridiculous drinks. I'm sitting there in my corner for a Michigan State game watching a gigantic copper cup going by, which is their shareable Moscow mule. No place in ATL like the nook with solid food, fun and dumb fun drinks. The fishbowls started arguments, hugs and cab rides home. No place in Atlanta like the Nook, and you can't show me a place like it. I had 7 dollar Moscow mules, and was given raffle tickets at half time for the Michigan State game. If you don't love this place, you are just lame. Our food was great. We had the salmon wrap and side salad with plenty of bacon and blue cheese. One of the best side salads I have ever had and it is a freaking pub for crying out loud. Bottom line this is such a fun place with pretty good food. An Atlanta pub, that should stay around centuries. I don't want Atlanta to just become some hot and new restaurant that's gone 4 years later. The nook is fun with good food. Come here to hang out with friends, laugh and have too many.

The booths were full, when we first got there the bar was almost full. Such nice bartenders omg amazing ambiance. Thursday’s they have kareoke starting at 9pm but get there before 7 to get a good parking spot!

Google
We really liked this place. It's in a very convenient location right across from Piedmont Park. The staff is kind and the place is very dog-friendly—they even gave our dog ice water. The service was fast and good. We ordered the potato totchos, Cajun pasta, and shrimp and grits burger. The totchos were tasty, but there was only a small scoop of sour cream—I wish they used more. The Cajun pasta was heavenly with a delicious taste and a nice Cajun kick, but the amount of shrimp was disappointing—I wish they used more. The burger was delicious and filling, with smoky beef. We'll definitely return here again.

Google
I had the salmon, green beans, house salad and macaroni and cheese and a couple beers at the bar. Always friendly bar tenders and consistently good food. Nice local neighborhood bar/restaurant. I do recommend and will return.

Yelp
My friend and I decided on a whim to get brunch at The Nook and the ambience, service, and food were all wonderful! We ordered the seasonal French toast and the chicken and biscuits and they were phenomenal! Our server Bradley was the best; attentive and personable!! We'll be back and I'd recommend The Nook to anyone and everyone. P.S. we made it to that concert, and we hope you make it to that football game!! -Ella and Nadia

Yelp
The Nook on Piedmont Park is a lively, inviting spot for anyone looking to enjoy classic American comfort food with a twist and beautiful park views. Located right by Piedmont Park, The Nook's outdoor patio is a prime spot for brunch, lunch, or dinner with scenic views and a relaxed vibe, especially on sunny days. Known for its "Totchos" (tater tot nachos), The Nook takes the tater tot to new levels, offering a variety of loaded options like Buffalo Chicken Totchos and Taco Totchos, each piled high with toppings and big enough to share. Their burgers and sandwiches are also crowd-pleasers. The atmosphere is casual and fun, with friendly, attentive service that makes you feel right at home. The large windows and outdoor seating create a light, airy space that's perfect for people-watching or just taking in the park. The Nook also has a good selection of beers and creative cocktails, with seasonal specials that pair well with the hearty menu items. Prices are moderate, reflecting the generous portions and location, and though it can get busy on weekends, with a long wait.

Yelp
This was a very weird experience... In sum: drinks were weak, food was okay, service was really rude 1) Came here on Friday for their fishbowl Friday special and was a bit disappointed to learn that the fishbowl special was only for one type of fishbowl? So we got it, and the drink was pretty weak? It didn't taste like it had much alcohol in it, it was just VERY sugary. 2) My friend also ordered a vodka soda, which tasted like it had 0 alcohol in it. When mentioning that to the server to hopefully get a different drink, she had a very rude attitude to us. 3) Our server in general was just really rude to us and seemed very high. 4) A separate server (or the host?) kept coming up to our table and took our menu 4 separate times. At first, he asked for our menus and we gave him all except 1, since we were ordering more food and drinks throughout our time there. Literally he would walk up to our table and take the menu without asking, so we kept having to go back to the host stand and get a menu? It was so weird and it wasn't even that busy, so they should get more menus? 5) I ended up ordering buffalo cauliflower and some tots, they were okay! Not bad but nothing special Probably won't be returning any time soon, they really need to teach the staff some manners

Yelp
Love their breakfast food! It's so delicious! They also have good mimosas and friendly staff. The tots could've been a little more loaded but they were great nonetheless. The whole place was a little bit more expensive than it should've been but oh well. Great patio outside . The stuffed French toast was good and veryyyy sweet as you can imagine
google avatar

Justin N.

Yelp
The Nook was a solid spot the second time we came here. Only big thing is that the vegan options are limited. But we have a good time nonetheless!
google avatar

Sam S.

Yelp
Drinks were pretty strong but could've tasted a bit nicer. The potatchos were fine as well, but nothing particularly special, and were probably a bit pricey for what they were.

Yelp
I did not eat here. Called and spoke to a really friendly person. We asked about the seating options so we could take our dog. Walked in and there was a sign saying Wait to be Seated. No one addressed me. The bartender could clearly see me. No hostess in sight. When I walked up to the bar, the bartender seemed to not want to address me and I had to initiate the conversation. Leaving with an awful feeling.

Yelp
I was delighted to get to The Nook early this past Sunday to celebrate Mother's Day! We walked to this spot from our hotel and happily got a table outside. The outdoor seating was covered and even had fans which really cooled the space down during a hot day. They had a brunch menu for the weekend with classic southern staples, but we decided to share a blueberry waffle and the two eggs breakfast. Everything was simple and delicious! The two eggs breakfast consisted of eggs made your style (we got over hard), with bacon, toast and hash browns. The hash browns/tots are definitely what they're known for here, I loved the veggies and cheese in them! Overall, a really yummy breakfast spot but I would try to go as soon as they open on weekends (10am) if you want to avoid a wait.

Yelp
Went for late lunch. Three of us got black bean burger. So good. One said best ever and it might be. Tomato and avocado on it and a sauce with a little kick. And nice bun. Tots were a big thing. Normal tots. The yelp summary said lots of vegetarian options. Not true. A big menu with a few vegetarian options. The greeter wasn't the friendliest and our waiter while chatty and fun, was slow. But getting a bean burger this good was worth the small inconveniences

Yelp
Good food & service. Stopped here for brunch with some friends on a Sunday afternoon. Amazingly seated immediately around 11:30 AM (all the other spots we checked in the area had very long waits). Everyone was happy with their order - including the Molly's Chicken & Grits, the Stuffed Biscuits, and the Spicy Hash. I could have used more flavor in the chicken & grits but overall good stuff!
google avatar

Monica H.

Yelp
We had a great experience. Cindy and Neyce were phenomenal. We were here for brunch on a Sunday and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Ask for Cindy and Neyce they will take care of you! We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Once upon a time - pre-pandemic - I loved The Nook! I was fond of the totchos, sandwiches, etc.,. I dined here this past weekend and boy, was that a mistake! The food was mediocre, but my rating is mainly for the poor customer service. 1. When I arrived, I was the only person waiting for a table and the restaurant was half empty. Staff passed by me several times, with no greetings at all. I finally caught the attention of one grumpy-looking waiter. 2. Food took 30 minutes to arrive. When it came out, the waiter asked whose plate is whose. We told him what we ordered and he obviously didn't know the names of the entrees he had in his hand. He got annoyed, took one of the plates off the table, and stormed inside with the entrees. 3. The grumpy waiter came back with the same plates and left them on our table with no word said. 4. The top of both of our hash browns were burnt and too hard to chew. The sausage was cold and hard. It took 20 minutes for my friend to get her coffee (after she asked twice), and my water was refilled half an hour after I asked three times. 5. It took another half hour to get the check, which I asked for twice. I was so glad to finally get the copy that I have to sign so I can leave the restaurant...only to find out that the grumpy waiter gave me someone else's check and credit card. It took 20 minutes to find the woman who had my check and credit card, and resolve the issue. The grumpy waiter didn't seem sorry at all for the mix-up. I still tipped because someone will have to wash my plate, but this place was not worth my time or money. You won't find me here ever again.

Yelp
The food mediocre at best, service was great. The flies outside ran us off. We will not return.
google avatar

Terry D.

Yelp
We went here for Sunday brunch. So delicious. Great atmosphere sitting outside on the patio across from the park. Our service was quick and helpful. My brûléed French toast was great, my friends stuffed French toast was amazing . Our 3rd guest had Migas and loved it.
google avatar

Marissa G.

Yelp
The nook is a staple. The service here is like a family oriented team. You can tell when they are slammed and they are still serving with a smile. The food is yummy. I have tried quite a few things on the menu. The bbq chicken sliders are my favorite. The brunch menu is also one of the main reasons I come. I love the steak and eggs. It's consistently tasty. And the TOTS ... how do I not mention you can pretty much have any meal with or on top of a bed of tater tots. It's a local spot with great food to nibble on. They do serve fishbowl drinks, while I haven't had any of the fruity ones, I did share the huge Bloody Mary -- it comes with steak and many other toppings. We did not finish it but I will say the Bloody Mary mix is by far my favorite in the city. The ambiance is a bar scene energy with karaoke on certain nights. Def worth a visit for something tasty!
google avatar

Anna J.

Yelp
Let me start this off that I am apologizing to anyone that loves this place but it just doesn't do it for me. The one thing they have got going for them are the fishbowls. Those are amazing, but the food is extremely mid. I have tried the totchos (tater tot nachos) and to me they taste like cafeteria tater tot's with mid toppings. The burgers are just meh. To me, the food is overpriced and disappointing. It just doesn't do it for the price and I think there are substantially better places to go by the park and get better food. Not to mention it can be extremely difficult to get a table and the food isn't worth it. Happy hour for drinks here? Totally fine just don't eat here. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Yelp
Love this place! The ambiance is awesome - very laid back with a great outdoor patio. The servers are super fun and very attentive to your experience. The place is also dog friendly! The location is also super comvienent for a quick bite after being at Piedmont park. The food is always so good! Definitely recommend the nook wrap with chicken and the sweet potato fries were sooo yummy!
google avatar

Leesa D.

Yelp
Love this spot which is very close to my home. Server was awesome, and the drinks were delicious. We sat outside, the patio was very comfortable; and not too crowded. I really like the laid back atmosphere.
google avatar

Tim D.

Yelp
The food was great and service was spot on. It was a great place to watch the end of the Falcons' loss. It was a lively crowd until the end!

Necie B.

Yelp
Very nice and chill lunch spot. We shared a Nacho Totchos for an app. For an entree I had the The Peachtree fried but as a wrap rather than a sandwich with the blue cheese crumbles on the side. The mac & cheese was a great side pick with this. My partner had the The Nook's Shrimp & Grits Stuffed Burger with sautéed green beans and his was absolutely delicious! Def a must try!!
google avatar

Sarah L.

Yelp
The Nook has been a solid spot for several visits and just yesterday, I got to try the infamous fishbowl. They were delicious and very fun. I have always had good and fast service here even when it's busy. I want to try more of the food menu here before reviewing again but I would recommend this midtown institution over many other local places.
google avatar

Samantha B.

Yelp
Stopped in on my way to the Botanical Garden. Rusty the bartender was so nice and friendly! I had the chicken chili and an order of the loaded potochos...SO delicious! Everyone was so welcoming and the bar itself was so quaint and cozy. I will definitely be back!
google avatar

Calvin J.

Yelp
Their nacho tachos are great! The bar is a great place to hang out. Service was fantastic. For to go orders the half order foods was perfect. I wish more restaurant would do that.
google avatar

Emanuel P.

Yelp
I ordered the deep fried thin mint Girl Scout cookies. I give it like a 6 out of 10. Reason being is because they weren't really deep fried well. It had a thin coat of batter over it. Also it was cold as if it were sitting and I did take into account that it was sitting near ice cream but I feel that's an excuse. The server was cool he was very helpful, funny and was very patient with our large group.

Linda

Yelp
There was a live bug in my pasta salad. Waitress was semi attentive at best. Manager acted like he didn't believe me but he did comp my meal. Response to reply from owner: Katherine, you are frankly just mistaken. Our server DID NOT come to the table and retrieve the dish. My husband got up from the table and approached the closest server and her reply was to "go find your server." He then took the dish back to the kitchen where he encountered the person who had brought the dish to our table. You are correct; she was accommodating and agreed to replace the pasta salad with fries. He then returned to our table and in a minute the person who delivered the food returned with hot tots. Afterwards the manager came to the table and asked about the incident. He did apologize but tempered that statement with "I've been here 8 years and we've never had an issue like this." TO BE CLEAR, my son, myself, and my husband all saw the bug (looked like a silverfish, most certainly not a fly). It was in the bowl when he returned it. It was only much later that our server ever returned to the table. If you look at your tape, you can track each of those steps. The reason I didn't want a replacement pasta salad is because I had already been served one with a bug in it. I appreciate you are a small business, but absolutely nothing I put in my review was incorrect. Your restaurant has excellent drinks.
google avatar

Ayane Y.

Yelp
drinks were very good, tater tots were the best to snack on while drinking, and service was great. definitely a spot to visit with your group of friends. we definitely enjoyed our time here and the fishbowl drinks are a must-have for a good time :)
google avatar

Sagarika G.

Yelp
This was one of the first spots we tried in Atlanta for brunch!! We ordered a fish bowl and tons of food haha. I ended up getting the black bean burger with sweet potatoes fries! The size of the burger is HUGE so you will definitely be more than full from this meal. The burger does not come with much toppings so I ended up adding cheese, lettuce, onion, and tomatoes. The patty was pretty thick but it didn't have much flavor for my liking. The bun was well toasted and light but the toppings were falling off the entire burger so I do wish the bun was a little bigger. The fries were probably my favorite part of the meal! They were crispy and well seasoned! This place has amazing vibes, lots of fun if you're drinking and going out with friends, but in terms of food, I've had better.
google avatar

Bryan M.

Yelp
So, it's been a while since we've been to The Nook and I have to say, it wasn't as good. Food......4 stars.....Redneck Tots were great. A little more cheese maybe. Son's and wife's lunches were good, too. Parking..........they did away with their valet parking. Why? You can't find a place down there to park. $15 to park 3/4 mile away. Service..........awful. Simply awful. Waited right at 55 minutes for our lunch. MANY others served before us. They claimed it was the kitchen........not sure. Slow, slow, slow, slow, and slow. Pitiful. It'll be a long while before we go back. Beware of no parking and service. And they were not that busy when we arrived. And even when we left.
google avatar

Kassandra C.

Yelp
This place was awesome!!! They serve really large portions & the food was so good! This was our best meal by far during our 4 day trip in Atlanta. They have an outdoor patio that we enjoyed our meal in. Everyone working here was so polite, which matters, as so many times we go out and it seems that customer service is dying. However NOT at this establishment. Our server Sally was so wonderful!!! Being in the industry myself for over 20 years, I really appreciate a server that is attentive. It's the little things. Sally was all that and more. Thank you!!!
google avatar

Laks P.

Yelp
I went here in a Saturday around 11:30 for brunch. I got the spicy hash which was pretty mediocre. The added cheese was a good touch though! The food took a very long time to come out and the waiter took a very long time to come back to our table after we said we weren't ready the first time he asked us what he could get us within the first 5 mins of us sitting down. I would come back for dinner or another meal where a fish bowl might make sense, but going there for brunch wasn't the best experience in my opinion. There are definitely better brunch places, but don't want to count this place out without trying it for another meal quite yet.
google avatar

Tallacy Marie F.

Yelp
We loved it!! We sat on the patio and had an older gentleman who was our server he was amazing!! Bloody Mary's were wonderful! Food was even better. We rode scooters across the street afterwards. What a great atmosphere!
google avatar

Danielle S.

Yelp
We came back on a Saturday morning since we were headed to Piedmont Park, and the service was much better this time. We were surprised to get seated right away when we arrived around 11. Loved our loaded tots, and the peanut butter and banana french toast was large enough to bring half home for leftovers. It's a very cozy vibe in the enclosed patio.
google avatar

Shannon B.

Yelp
Boyfriend, dog and I strolled past Nook on our Piedmont park walk and decided to stop and have a drink. Matty was soo nice and set us up all cozy at a table outside outside, got my dog a dish, set up the fire by our table cause it was a little chilly and we ended up ordering food we just felt the good vibes. Can't go wrong with Totchos either obvs! MATTY you are awesome, we'll be back!
google avatar

Emily G.

Yelp
I really enjoy this place! It's right off Piedmont park. I will say one downside is it really doesn't have parking, but not an issue to me. They do trivia on Wednesday nights at 8pm and it's awesome. It does get busy, so better to get there on the earlier side. They are known for their "totchos", which are tator tots topped with fillings. I got their nacho totchos which were awesome and plenty to share. Drinks were good and server was attentive. Definitely will return for trivia nights as well as other times.
google avatar

BitLeigh V.

Yelp
I couldn't count the number of times I've been to The Nook over the years. I've seen prices increase over time just given inflation and everything, but The Nook is constant. Parking for the Nook can be found on the street, but it may be scarce. There's no longer valet parking in there small lot (it's now outdoor seating). I've always gotten just totchos and fishballs and they've never done me wrong. I do miss the bogo totchos on Fridays until 5pm :( I've had all of the types of totchos (and a friend even did the totcho challenge one too). I've had several of the fishbowls and they're great. Blue Lagoon is the tried and true, but all fishbowls now are $50ish. Wednesday nights are trivia and Thursday nights are karaoke!
google avatar

Tex W.

Yelp
This place is next to the piedmont park. It offers great food that is plenty to share with others. If you have kids or any sort, wouldn't recommend but it's a scene for young adults and place to watch the game and enjoy some American delights.
google avatar

Kayla C.

Yelp
Piedmont Pork Sandwich at Nook. I love visiting nook the staff is always friendly (shoutout our server Kevin) and food is hot and fresh. The seating on the patio is open and great for enjoying the weather. Would visit again in heartbeat, walk if you can because parking is limited to nearby streets and garages
google avatar

Alexandria J.

Yelp
This is the second time I've come here and they're constantly out of things... first it was the mac and cheese bites (we were literally the first ones in the restaurant so how can you be out?)... the second time it's all veggie sides. We had a friend with a nut allergy and they wouldn't make any modifications to their house salad. The server also spilled half of our totchos and then just left with it spilled all over our table. Service is terrible. Update. We literally got charged for the extra gravy we asked for after ours was spilled. This place is a joke.
google avatar

Tina D.

Yelp
I regretfully forgot the waitresses name but she was lovely and so accommodating! Amazing service and food!
google avatar

Roderick B.

Yelp
Well... I went from an incredible first experience with The Nook to an awful experience on the second visit. The worst waiter I've had in a while. Said he would be right back to take my order and disappeared. Had to go to the bar to see where he was. Then it was a very awkward order moment. Which was followed by him not refilling my water until I was almost done with my food. The tots are not the ultimate delicious item that people lead me to believe. The burger and sweet potato fries from last time were better. This experience has left me extremely frustrated. Perfection then to awful in just one visit. Dropping the 5 star to 3 star in the hope that is just one bad waiter situation. Such a shame.

Matthew L.

Yelp
I was a regular in 2017, moved to LA. Came back in 2024. Still the same amazing experience. I'd give 6 stars if I could.
google avatar

Hailey R.

Yelp
The Nook is a Midtown staple with a lot to love: their location just steps away from Piedmont Park, local beers and a dive bar vibe, friendly staff, and huge portions. The Totchos (tater tot nachos) are delicious and unique, and you should absolutely get them. Beware of the huge portion sizes -- I can easily split a plate and still have leftovers! They're also known for their beer selection and fish bowl drinks, which is 128oz and serves 3-4 people. The rest of the food, I don't think is top notch -- my burger was pretty dry and the quesadilla lacked flavor. I've also visited for brunch, with mixed experiences. My omelette was a bit rubbery in texture (cooking too hot!) but the french toast has been great for me! Overall, I think there's a lack of consistency across the menu, but like I said -- totchos almost always a safe bet. Overall, the Nook is a great place to grab lunch or drinks after a game of tennis in Piedmont, or come for trivia with friends. What they lack in some places they definitely make up for with the location and friendly service!
google avatar

Del'Esa L.

Yelp
This is a good place for a decent meal and a strong drink for sure! Average levels of noise, which is nice considering this is more like a pub vs restaurant. Definitely try the tater tots!! I recommend the loaded tatchos, tito love them, very flavorful and delicate without being too greasy.
google avatar

Jenny F.

Yelp
Matty and Tyler are fabulous! The live music and service are amazing! Definitely come and enjoy a chill night out!

Yelp
Ive been to The Nook several times. It's great for large groups and drinks. The food is just above dive bar fare. Now let's get to it: my partner and I came after several failed attempts at other restaurants. We literally wanted wings+cocktails+patio. As we are emerging from the pandemic I still thread carefully. From an environment perspective, mask are required, sanitize upon entry and they have drastically reduced capacity. During the prime, The Nook would be packed to the walls with groups throwing back fishbowls and tots. The food, we ordered the grilled chicken tots, plain smoked wings, the peach Arnold palmer, and some purple gin drink. The drinks were great. The gin drink was a little stronger but I think the sweet tea vodka is inherently not as strong. The purple drink was beautiful. The tots are tots. The toppings were pretty lacking. The tot to topping ratio was not very good. Everything was hot and fast. The wings weren't good. The waiter warned that not getting the wings tossed in a sauce would result in them being dry. She was right. I got the chipotle bbq and it was interesting. It was tangy, sweet, and spicy. I wouldn't like it on the wings. It was too much. The Nook is fun. Get a fishbowl, get tipsy, and have fun in Piedmont Park.

Yelp
My homegirl and I decided to do a friend day dinner and The Nook is where we ended up. Upon walking in the establishment has a warm, neighborhood bar feel. We were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. Our waitress was super pleasant and came over to the table within 2 minutes of being seated. She knew the menu well and was an awesome resource of what to get. Food: I decided on the Chicken Wrap (Fried) and was super pleased with my selection. The chicken was in abundance and moist. The seasoning was very light so if you are into seasonings like I am, I suggest asking for salt and pepper. The lettuce was crisp and fresh and the house honey mustard provides a nice sweet/spice effect that is pleasant against the chicken. The tater tots were good. Perfect choice if you want an added crunch on your plate. I had Sweet Tea to drink and it was awesome. Perfectly sweet and truly southern. If you're looking for a casual environment with a nice menu, you must stop in.

Yelp
Had the Tree Hugger and Brussel Sprouts, great taste but missing the sprouts which I love and sad didn't get. Patio area was a vibe and the Souther Peach Palmer was refreshing! Not the friendliest service ......

Yelp
I would definitely not return to this place. Let's first talk about the food. Fajita Totchos, C- About a pound of tater tops topped with about a tablespoon of fajita meat, a tablespoon of peppers, and a spoonful of both sour cream and pico de gallo. It was completely underwhelming. I was expecting something a little more substantial. Blackened ahi tuna salad, B+ This was pretty good. We got the tuna seared and it was seared perfectly. There were lots of greens to go with the tuna. The only complaint was that the blackened part of the tuna was a little too salty, but still it was pretty good. Now let's talk about the service. Host: The place was pretty empty with many tables that was available for seating. Instead, the host sat us at a small table next to 1 groups of 5 people and the table was against a post. I asked him if we can sit at another table where there wasn't any one around. He said no because those tables are closed. We didn't want to sit there so we were looking on our phone for somewhere else to eat. Eventually one server came up to us and asked us if we were ok. We asked if we could sit somewhere else and she immediately said, sure, and sat us at the table where we wanted to go. Why didn't the host just accommodate us? It was frustrating and didn't start the evening on a good note. The fajita totchos was listed on the menu as $12. When we got the bill, they charged us $13. I pointed this out to our server and he returned to us and said, yeah, we never got around to changing the menu. And he didn't change the price on us!!! I know it's only one dollar, but I believe that if the price is listed, then that's the price that we should be charged. Our last complaint was when we asked for more sour cream and pico de gallo. Being a server myself, when someone asks for things, I would inform them if there is an up charge. Our server did not mention that there would be extra charges for the sour cream and the pico de gallo. All in all, it was a sub par experience. Would definitely NOT recommend this place and would definitely NOT come back.
