This place is trendy and decorated super chill. The atmosphere is very laid back. A great selection of craft beers and as well as the staples. Bartenders are always quick to help and the food during Tasty Tuesdays is lit!

Stopped in for drinks. The vibe is eclectic with knick-knacks around and on the ceiling. Limited sitting space. Decent size bar. Lot of beer on tap. Had the NEIPA, I think it was called 'Queen' - was very good.

Great little cafe/bar. Love the intimate setting with the chill vibe. Small but good selection of craft on tap including some from Ellipsis! Check out the used books while you enjoy your drinks. Great people too.

Good beer selection, awful seating and if there are a bunch of people its pretty warm in there, good for a drink and then off to the next pub

I came in for a Jazz night and the place was packed but luckily I was able to secure a spot at the bar. I liked the retro decor and the service was great. Jazz band that played that night could have been better, otherwise a great spot to try some local beers.

This little bar is a gem of The Milk District. The atmosphere is cool, cozy, and comforting. The bartenders are top-notch, always friendly and attentive. They know their menu very well and made me feel like a regular after one beer. I will always recommend this place and drag my friends and coworkers when in the mood for a drink. They have a nice selection of non alcoholic drinks as well. 11/10

Yelp
SERVICE: 5 FOOD QUALITY: N/A DRINK QUALITY: 5 ORDER TIME: 5 AESTHETICS: 5 NOISE LEVEL: 5 MENU SELECTION: 5 OVERALL EXPERIENCE:5 This place is the most unsuspecting hidden gem that I've never heard anyone ever talk about so I'm gonna boast about it on Yelp. Located in the milk district this little bar is the neighborhood bar. The bar was packed because of the weekend milk mart event. The bartenders were not phased by the massive volume and were fun to talk to. They have so many options of beer and wine to drink or purchase to go. A lot of really rare items you won't find in any grocery store. I love sours and they had two on tap. Both were amazing which had me reminiscing on all the wonderful sour beers I left behind in Michigan. They gave me faith that Florida can produce good sours and quality beer. Overall, this place was the best part of the day. Highly recommend if you're looking for something small and personable with amazing service. Also has an array of eclectic art works which is wonderful. They even have live music on select evenings which really has me ready to go back.

Yelp
We went for a beat show (which apparently occurs every third Friday of the month) and this place was a whole VIBE. There is so much to look at and laugh at. We fell in love with this place immediately. The owner/bartender was super sweet and on top of everything. I was DD and I was super happy to see there was a variety of liquid deaths to pick from - flat, sparkling, and flavored. I love me some fancy water. Hubby had about 5 beers and loved all of them. There's a long craft beer menu separated by flavor profile and they also serve wines. Definitely a cool spot to check out if you're in the Milk District.

Yelp
I was extremely comfortable here. Everyone was friendly. I had a Polar beer in a glass bottle for $3. It was delicious, slightly Malta taste, from South America. It hit the spot. Then I had a cherry soda, also $3, in a glass bottle also. Relaxing bar area. Lots of books to look at, & vhs tapes for sale. Stamped paper bags for your bottle provided also, cute touch. It was fun people watching later sitting outside at some classroom desks.

Yelp
The Nook is such a fun little beer bar in the Milk District! I stopped in with some friends during Milk Mart recently and grabbed a few beers to enjoy while we roamed through the market. They have a cozy, eclectic vibe with colorful art and even a tiny bookstore. Great selection of interesting beers and wines and the service is always super friendly. Be sure to follow along with them on IG because they host movie nights and other fun events throughout the year!

Yelp
The best neighborhood bar. Cozy and welcoming with a great selection of local Florida beers. Matt and Mary are always so prompt and friendly no matter how busy the bar gets. A great place to grab a beer with your food for Tasty Takeover, being a record to play on a Thursday, or catch one of the many local shows that take place there. A must go for the Milk District !

Yelp
This is a really cool place that serves as a hub for different community members, you can come here and run into some type of event or meetup, which is great if you're looking for things to explore. The place is very small, a nook, and very intimate. You can sit at the bar and chill with the staff, or sit in a couch and relax. BUT, there is a parking area in the back that is used for events, such as music performances and markets, so there is entertainment in and out. The beers served here are primarily Florida beers, and some are local beers, depending on what's on tap or in the cooler. You got to come here if you want to support your Florida craft beer scene, local groups, and local businesses rather than franchises.

Yelp
I love the Nook so very much. We originally started coming here every Tuesday for the "Tasty Takeover" food truck event that happens every week back when we lived about 40 minutes from downtown (on a good day). Unfortunately (for me) the people have discovered Tasty Takeover and it is always really busy, so I don't go on Tuesdays much anymore. But I've found that I much prefer a more chill night out at the Nook, like vinyl night (Thursday, but don't tell anyone). The owners, Matt and Mary, are super awesome folks and the rotating menu of beer and wine keeps things interesting. When I can't make a decision (which is often) I always go for the prosecco on draft. Delish.

Yelp
We finally made it! Lovely service and great beer selection (I WILL try the mystery can one day I swear!). A bit crowded inside, but I love the vibe. Makes me made that my VHS player crapped out because there are some gems for sale there. Wish there was a second bathroom option, but I wouldn't sacrifice any of the existing floor space.

Yelp
Dope spot! Beer and wine only. It's locally owned, and they work the bar...which adds to their character. Book swapping available, they've decorated with tons of nostalgic items and memorabilia. My favorite time to visit is on a Tuesday during tasty - they allow you to sit indoors and do all your munching. Prices are great too... it's small and intimate. It's a homey vibe! Seems like just yesterday this place was Sandwich Bar but 5 years later and the new owners are doing a really great job, love the weekly events and markets. Cheers!

Yelp
The actual best bar in Orlando. The best Bartenders in Orlando, and the apex of the local scene. Fun events, community, and beer. The single most welcoming space I've been in Orlando. I can't say enough about how incredible this place is.
google avatar

Aimee B.

Yelp
Super chill place with some great staff that is very knowledgeable with their extensive beer and wine menu! The décor is fun to see all the different pics/objects they have on the wall and ceiling. They also have a record player so you can pick out music to play while you are there. It was nice to hear such a wide range of music from all the folks there. I tried two different wheat beers (one mango and one apricot) since they were different than what I have tried in the past. Both were really good and you can tell they update their selections so when you go back there can be a lot more new things to try. Be sure to stop by for a chill time with great music and beer/wine!
google avatar

Julia D.

Yelp
Matt and Mary are super friendly! The last local strong hold. Enjoy the chaotic retro decor and the amazing rotating beer selection!
google avatar

Brittany L.

Yelp
Such an amazing spot in the Milk District. The owners are very nice and friendly. I love the decorations around the place and it just feels vintage! The drink selection is large, definitely check out the ciders!
google avatar

Yelp
This is such a great place to relax and unwind. Super friendly staff that is knowledgeable about their beer and wine offerings. There is limited selection on tap but they have a wide and very varied range of canned and bottled items. You can even get a flight to sample some of the many different beers offered. They have a great sours, seltzer and wine selection as well. There is a selection of vinyl and it appears you can bring your own and use their turntable to play the selections. You can actually have a conversation as they keep the volume level very comfortable. Besides the great selection, super service and chill atmosphere, this place is reasonably priced so you are not likely to break the bank for a few drinks out.
google avatar

Yelp
Service, Service, Service! It's not everything, but it's damn near close. What stood out to me about The Nook was how friendly and helpful. Mary took the time to show me all of the Wheat beer options they had and explained the breweries behind them. It's kinda small so it's aptly named. It's a good place to grab a cold beer if you're in the area. Tuesdays in the back they have food truck's set up as part of Tasty Takeover, and the Nook is the place to get beer to go with your bao, birria, bowls, burgers or beans.
google avatar

Sean S.

Yelp
A place where you can have great local beers with knowledgeable bartenders. Great place to have intelligent conversations.
google avatar

Carina P.

Yelp
What a cozy local little place this is. Starting with the '80s decorations, living room style. Feels like I walked in someone's house. The bartenders were great! The beer selection is pretty nice and the price was great! Their mystery beer deal is super cool!!!
google avatar

Yelp
It has been a long time since I've went to this bar and almost forgot they are here during Tasty Tuesday's. Which is a plus due to the only way to wash down good food is having a good drink. Pricing is not bad either. I had an IPA - hazy Bois plus two waters and it was about 12$ -13$ total. Truly a gem in the mail district!

Yelp
Favorite local bar in Orlando. A fun place to come and grab a solid drink with personable staff and creative decor.

Yelp
Establishment hosted virtual beer tasting & local distillery from key west Fl to Tallahassee FL each event featured a different approach on flavors of beers. Tonight the focus was presented with special guest from each distillery presenting the flavor of beer. During the pandemic all local businesses needs local support. Expertise sharing knowledge during these tasting shares & sparks interest of wanting to experience going to the distillery all across FL. Always been a huge supporter of local business. Really appreciated this virtual experience. I've taken a few pics & appreciate everyone for making this possible. @beerscouts #craftbeer #craftbeerflorida #craftbeerorlando #paleale #whitbeer #yelporlando #copperale @yelp @bowigens beercompany @islamoradabeer @proofbrewingco @bigstormbrewing @persimmomhollow @thenookrobinson

Yelp
Smaller local bar / pub with an amazing eclectic vibe and a local feel. When you head in you'll probably first notice the decor and the fun art throughout. It's small, but in a cozy, local bar, kinda way. Staff is friendly and quick to help you out with a drink. This area is well known for local events and a farmer's market, which is a great way to have some fun while enjoying a drink. Overall: A+ Great local spot with a fun vibe.
google avatar

Steve A.

Yelp
Definitely well named, The Nook is a cozy little spot that specializes in mostly locally sourced beers. You can find the menu here: https://thenookonrobinson.square.site/ but there are many, many more selections in the cooler. Knowledgeable, friendly staff make it a great place to hangout at one of the few bar seats, a table for two, or a sitting area.
google avatar

Yelp
Have you ever played Nintendo in a basement circa 1995? Have you ever wore a flannel shirt (obviously not buttoned), jeans 2 sizes too big, and a plastic choker? Did you hang a poster above or around your bed of a boy and? If you answered yes to either of these questions you're gonna fit right in at this bar. The furniture from grandmas living room/ your lunchroom- It's a small time warp with a bartender that knows what she's talking about ... check them out of Facebook!

Yelp
My favorite new hangout in Orlando. Delicious section of local beers. Matt and Mary are awesome . The atmosphere can't be beat.
google avatar

Yelp
5 Stars for a great little wine and beer bar that's intimate and has a tiny book store. This is what I love about orlando. In one business. It's homegrown. Weird. And probably a little ilegal. Thank goodness for The Nook and businesses like it. In the heart of The Milk District, the Nook is a divey perfection. There seem to be regulars, but Matt (The bartender when we were there) treated us like we'd been there many times. He gave recommendations on beers and chatted about the special event they'd just had. Overall, fun, eclectic mix of beers and a great vibe. Can't wait to keep patronizing the nook!
google avatar

Virginia F.

Yelp
The atmosphere is welcoming and they host lots of events, plus there's always a great selection of local beers. The owners Matt and Mary are super friendly and helpful

Yelp
This is a great place for grabbing a drink and hanging out. I went here to pick up my YELP! Beer Scouts package twice. Both times I have gone in have been very positive. I love the feeling of the place. It feels like a basement bar in someones home. Matt and Mary have a great selection of local Florida brews. You can find a listing of what they have at https://thenookonrobinson.square.site. The best part of this bar is the events that go on. Wether it is Tasty Tuesday for Food Trucks or Movies. The events are not to be missed. If you are looking for a local place to grab a beer and chill this is it.
google avatar

Debbie F.

Yelp
This was my first time going to The Nook. I went to pick up an order for a YELP Event, and I'm glad to have gone. If things were different (no COVID),I would love to hang out here! I couldn't go inside, which was fine, and I got to meet Mary, one of the co-owners.Mary gave me a warm, friendly greeting, and had my order ready and waiting. The Nook is a small, but cozy place, and when things go back to "normal",I'll be here!
google avatar

Yelp
My husband and I love going to the Nook. We took our brother in law there (he lives in Brooklyn) and his first comment was- I feel like I'm I'm Brooklyn. The owner is from BK so it makes sense. We have been there several times and we feel like old friends. It's like cheers- they know us! They have a selection of craft beers (local) on draft, as well as some bottles and beers. They also have wine and cocktails. There's a couple tables outside, books to look over and borrow or take for a donation. They also do pop ups (such as orlandough). What I really love is their sense of community. Everyone is welcome. And they have tons of fun events (follow them for updates)- tasty Tuesday, drink and draw, movies, sock hop. Overall a lovely addition to milk district- the main reason I visit this awesome neighborhood.

Yelp
Cool spot and a cool crew. Specializing in local beers and spots... support local and enjoy some chill vibes!

Yelp
The Nook is one of several watering holes along the Milk District. Seems to be a popular choice during Take Over Tuesdays, and there's a good reason for that. Super laid back vibe where the workers are very friendly and knowledgeable about their beers. I love the idea that they've got a small sign advertising a mystery $5 craft beer, and; it really is a mystery. Trust me, I tried to get something out of one of the bar tenders but he just kept shrugging and saying: "you'll have to get it to find out" and of course the curiosity was too much for me and I ended up getting it. I wasn't disappointed as it ended up being a Coppertail Pilsner that hit the spot on this cloudy and slightly cold night. They've got vegan goodies too, there was a jar filled with sizable chocolate chip cookies at $2 a piece. During Take Over Tuesday you're more than welcome to get something to eat from the trucks and then bring it inside to eat, there is also seating in the patio and the front.
google avatar

Leslie S.

Yelp
Pros: Chill atmosphere, good music, great beer selection. They also had great prices on wine, and I had a can of wine for the first time, the taste was okay, but I liked how it blended with all the beer cans. Cons: It's small, but very cozy, will definitely return.
google avatar

Dior K.

Yelp
There is a new event everyday, all the beers are local, the music is fire, AND they have a library inside. Whats not to love. I can even study here during the day on the weekends. The owners are also the best people youll ever meet in Orlando. Every Tuesday there are food trucks in the back as well, so pig out !
google avatar

Caitlin R.

Yelp
Such a low key but awesome place to grab a drink! Whether you are looking for a date night, girls night or just to grab a drink with some friends The Nook is the pace to be! Awesome variety of craft beers and amazing atmosphere

Juliana V.

Yelp
I really love this bar. The owners are super chill, and fantastic to talk to. All their beer selections are great. They have an amazing variety, which you may not expect from such a small place. When I'm just in the mood for beer, not a specific style, I ask for a mystery beer and let them do the work for me. If I have a hankering for a specific style, they always have a beer to meet my needs. And now they do flights!
google avatar

Kenzie A.

Yelp
Such a fun spot! I loved my nitro cold brew, and the lavender donut was GREAT! My shrimp avocado toast was good, but I wasn't totally in love with it. I wish the gentleman working would have asked before he put ice in my nitro because I would have preferred it without, but it wasn't a big deal. The wait times were really long, but it was understandable because that poor guy was the only one working, so he was trying to take orders and make all the food and drinks on his own. I would definitely come back, for sure!!
google avatar

Jaci H.

Yelp
We visited from Dallas and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the selection of craft beers and wines. We watched a comedy lineup that was perfectly hilarious and inappropriate. They seem to have a lot of themed events and a fairly regular clientele. 5 stars, will be back next time we're in town.
google avatar

Refmann L.

Yelp
Exactly what the milk district needs. A cool non pretentious coffee shop that also serves limited food (donuts were really good) and a nice selection of beers. I think everything was well priced. I don't remember due to day drinking but hey you can do that here too.
google avatar

Eric B.

Yelp
Cute little place, I look forward to spending time there in the afternoon writing my next failure. The staff are super nice. Stop by for some coffee... they didn't have half and half at the time, so they should def add it if they haven't already.

Patrick G.

Yelp
This is my favorite bar in Orlando. It's a got a low key vibe, but it's a fun spot. It's the perfect neighborhood joint. They also have great entertainment and a great beer selection.

Rodney F.

Yelp
Small little bar in the Milk District offering local beers. Parking on the side and in back. Friendly bartender.
