0/5 — Extremely Disappointed and Won’t Be Returning
I’ve visited this restaurant many times over the years, but something has seriously changed lately — and not in a good way. The prices have become way overpriced compared to every other authentic Yemeni restaurant in the area, and on top of that they’ve started charging for things that have ALWAYS come with the dish.
We ordered Fahsa and Haneeth, and they brought the Fahsa without bread. When we asked, the server told us we had to pay extra for bread. Since when does Fahsa not come with bread?
It got worse. The server asked if I wanted the Fahsa spicy or not — I clearly asked for non-spicy, and they still brought it very spicy. When I complained, they refused to replace it. That alone tells you how the service has gone downhill.
The Haneeth was also a huge letdown: barely any meat, barely any rice, and absolutely not worth the price they’re charging.
I truly don’t know what’s going on with this place. They’re jacking up prices, reducing portions, compromising quality, and even overcharging for drinks now. This used to be a reliable restaurant, but the recent changes are unacceptable.
I won’t be coming back, and I hope management wakes up before more loyal customers walk away.
