The Oasis Pool

I visited the Oasis Pool at the Luxor for a Sunday pool party, and it was such a great experience! While there’s a cover charge if you’re not a hotel guest, I found it to be well worth it. The pool itself is a great size, and I loved the theming and layout of the area—it’s visually appealing and creates a fun, relaxing vibe. The DJ was excellent, playing a mix that kept the energy up without being overwhelming, and there were multiple bars and servers circulating with drinks, which made it easy to enjoy the party without waiting around. As expected in Vegas, drink prices are on the higher end, but that’s to be expected. What I appreciated most was that they offered free towels and complimentary lounge chairs, alongside paid options like premium chairs and bali beds—so there’s something for everyone, whether you’re looking to splurge or keep it simple. The service throughout was great, and the overall experience was fun, well-organized, and comfortable. I’d definitely return and would recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a solid pool party in Vegas.

Review updated, BUYER BEWARE i was charged to my credit card for cabana it was suppose to be comped. The kids and I are having a good time lounging at the pool 2 pools 2 hot tubs We were in a cabana which was a nice escape from the sun. Pool doesn't serve food on weekdays but can bring food inside. Bar drinks are served. If you get a cabana comes with a server, tv, and drinks.

i don't regret checking out and swimming in this pool. it's huge, literally. there's some little fountain like decor near the deepest part (which was only 3 feet 6 inches deep) which added to the ancient egypt inspiration for luxor in general. i would give this a 5 star rating if the water wasn't filled with garbage. but under the sun, it looks really pretty! it gives this nice light blue reflection with the sunlight. i would give this pool one more go. i only went swimming in this pool twice during my stay here.

This review is for the cabanas. I would advise nearly everything in the north pool except the cabanas closest to the pyramid, the DJ plays the music way too loud. For a more chill atmosphere go with something on the south pool. That aside, the staff was super friendly and helpful and it was a great value for the price.

Nice pool and great view, we stayed at the luxor hotel for 3 days. The oasis features 4 large sections of pool area. The pool deck is one of the largest in Las Vegas.

This review is mainly for the sweet older gentleman working the kiosk upon entering the pool. It was Sunday, 10-August and we swung by the pool to celebrate a birthday. He kindly gave us a token of appreciation (voucher) to celebrate my girl friend's birthday which made the day more special - such kind and genuine hospitality, we wish we received his name! Otherwise, the pools were not all open but we appreciated it not being too busy to have room to swim and relax, and not have to compete for a lounger chair.

Like others mentioned, half the pools seem to be regularly closed. There was a good amount of empty beer cans, cups, straws, and trash that would constantly blow into the pool because people here seem to have trouble picking up after themselves and lifeguards ignore the trash. Pool towels also have seen better days as they all appeared to have stains, which is fine I guess assuming they’re clean. Other than that, pool and deck area is dated but decent and plenty of chairs were available in the early evening around sunset in July

Here for a convention at Mandalay Bay. I felt the need to enhance my tan. This pool had everything I was looking for - cool water, bucket of beers, sun, and good music. I felt safe with the number of lifeguards as I was in the 3 foot water section. Getting here early allowed us to place our stuff under a chair. Sun was warm and my tan looked good. Bonus points for the baby changing station in the men's room! I will return if staying in the area. Respectfully, Bryan Moore Oklahoma

See my information in the picture, under "what's in this photo." Please train your pool attendant that people are well aware of what they purchase. Also, when guests exit and hand off their receipt, their acknowledgement of their exit would get them a higher tip. Being ignored is not going your earn you tips.

Clean. Not too crowded. Britney server was friendly. Good food and drinks. But the music... oh it was bad. Techno noise. How about just some basic 70-90 best hits. But this no name band tench nonsense is what ultimately made me want to leave. It was loud. Can't even dance to it or enjoy listening. My reason for the three stars.

I was really disappointed this time. One of the pools were closed for remodeling. They only had one server who was supporting everyone, so this meant you had to walk up and wait in line for a drink. Maybe this was due to covid, but it doesn't make sense. One bar only offered limited drinks, but this wasn't obvious from the outside. They were also serving flat soda water from a dispenser that had been sitting for hours. I can buy bottles of soda water at Walmart for $.50. There is a better way. They also didn't have tap water. Not was there a water dispenser anywhere by the pool area. I really wanted lunch, but the pool menu was lacking. It was more aligned with a bad snack bar instead of a Vegas resort. I would of been happy with a turkey wrap or chicken sandwich. There is a Starbucks truck on site serving a limited menu of drinks and food. I didn't see any pool attendants around. It was common for guests to leave and leave their old towels on the chairs. No one came by to pick them up, straighten chairs, pick up trash, etc. I will say I went to the gay pool party at the Luxor a couple years ago and had a wonderful experience. So maybe this was a one off due to covid.

Luxor advertises having four pool areas, but only two were open when we went on 04/21. My bag was searched on arrival, although nobody objected to us bringing in the drinks (in plastic cups) we purchased at the lobby bar. The water was definitely on the colder side/not warm enough for me to swim. The hot tub was packed. Unless you're paying to upgrade your seating, expect to sit in the direct sun. The vibe was pretty calm (I'm not a fan of party pools), I'm sure it helped that we were there on a Thursday. The Egyptian décor is fun and unique. There were no seats available next to each other. I attempted to move a lounge chair near mine and the lifeguard blew her whistle at me--apparently the chairs are numbered. I can understand that, however guests leave their towels and empty containers throughout the day and nobody comes by to remove them. There's no way of knowing which chairs were actually occupied and which were abandoned. This makes it very difficult to find a place to sit, especially later in the day. My experience here wasn't much different than other pools at budget-friendly properties. Overall kind of lackluster, not bad but not great.

The general area fills up fast and a lot of people save chairs which is understandable. We opted to pay the extra $10 to sit in the reserved pool area but that still only guaranteed the white chairs which did not have shade or an umbrella. Bummer that the entire pool is 3+ feet tall but I guess it prevents people from trying to actually swim or move around to a different part. The $16 giant bloody was nice and refreshing and the refill option for $11(?) was a great deal. I also liked that it was pretty empty so you could play with the water basketball & shoot hoops in the pool. Just be sure not to sit under / behind the hoop! p.s. I'm a little grossed out that the clean towels are just in a large bin and come out unfolded. It really makes no difference...but it feels like it is less clean when the employee pulls one out of the bin & they are not pre-folded.

Solid Vegas pool with multiple pools and seating areas! There's private pool areas for those willing to pay upgrade fees, but why you'd want to when the main pool area isn't overrun with kids is beyond me! There's a policy here that you're allowed to brink one "drink" with you into the pool area which for me is fantastic! Of course I'm not bringing water!!

The Oasis Pool Bar & Grill could not make an acceptable Strawberry Daiquiri or Miami Vice drink. The two drinks cost $56. I took both back. The bar tender couldn't do anything to make them better. I took substitute drinks that I didn't want and didn't finish drinking. It was 109 degrees that day. The North Pool had lots of open area for chairs but didn't have enough lounge chairs for the guests. The concrete was like 130 degrees and guest were trying to sit on the bare concrete.

Got in on the locals special, which is $15 a pop. Pros- - Still some remnants left of the Egyptian theme. Very cool. - Plenty of area and space available to move around. I arrived just before noon and still managed to snag a chair. - I believe there are at least 4 pools and at least 2 jacuzzis available. - plenty of attractive cocktail waitresses walking around taking drink orders - large blue complimentary towels provided - they have a bar and snack bar available for your touristy needs lol - they actually have 2 water fountains there if you really wanna cheap out Cons- - the day I was there about 1/2 to 3/4 of the pools were chained off and unavailable. Why? Would have been so nice to have those areas open. - limited number of chairs, so get there by 10 am or so if you can help it.. - jacuzzi wasnt very hot and jet stream was pretty weak....maybe its just me.. other tidbits.. - a 16 ounce beer (Bud products) will set you back about $8 a pop plus tax, souvenir cups with the fruity drinks run $22 plus tax - as far as eye candy it really depends on what you like to look at..lol..saw an eclectic mix of young and old, big and small, and everything in between.. I had fun here today, and as a local, would definitely come back to enjoy this area again.. its A-OK! 3 stars.

What's not to like about being at the pool and having a great view! It was very relaxing. The staff are friendly and attentive. Thanks for a great experience!

Attendants are friendly, lots of space to lounge, the pool area itself is really pretty and right on theme!! Going in the pool also offered my 6 months pregnant self lots of relief from carrying myself around all day. Lots to love! You can almost imagine yourself in Egypt next to a real pyramid. The catch? The pool is too cold! It's chilly when you step in but you never really get used to the temperature. After half an hour of floating around my limbs were still all goosebumpy! Luckily it was around 80 degrees even in mid October so lying out for a few minutes after to dry off warmed me back up!

The pool is perfect if you are not in the mood to be in a overpopulated pool area trying to find a quick hookup. This area seems to be for the relaxed party days are over. So if you're not in the mood to rage with 100 other random people, come to the Luxor pool Get a cabana, they are a very reasonable price and buy a few drinks. Relax and have a great time.

My now husband and I, had many of our wedding guests stay at the Luxor. The day after our wedding we rented two cabanas, glad we did as seating was limited in the general area since the other pool was closed. Miguel and Carlos, attending our cabanas were on point, always having our drinks stocked. The tvs were a bit grainy but that wasn't our main focus. We were into our conversation, people watching and listening to our own music. The jacuzzi was not warm at all, huge bummer. It'd be nice for some achy muscles from walking the strip. The drinks were a bit pricy, but it is Vegas. It's a big mix of people. Overall, great experience. The security guard was also attentive and not the cocky bouncer type you see at the higher end pools at other Vegas resorts.

This is a nice pool for a hotel but relative to all the Vegas pools this one doesn't have much glamour. In fact, it's also got a side pool that isn't included in your resort fee and therefore you have to pay more which I thought was ridiculous! The pool here I feel like is just another way for Luxor / Vegas to get more money out of you!

We paid $20 to enter a little event there. It was not worth it. Music sucked, it was scorching outside and there were no chairs or umbrellas available. The drinks were$27 plus. It was just all around a waste of money. I could have chilled at my own hotel pool for free!

In short, multi-pool complex (like most of the other hotels) but this one is a little smaller. I feel like this pool area had a bunch more kids and people who aren't capable of walking to a trash can, as well. The Sunday event with the DJ is just a small pop up tent with a top 40 - no big names. So if you used google (like me) and got info about a Sunday Temptatiom event at Oasis... don't even bother. If you're truely looking to relax though from an exciting weekend... it's not that bad of a pool. As soon as you go through the room key/towel check just walk straight back - past the "main" pool and off to the second pool that has the tall water fountain pilar looking things. There seemed to be less kids back in that area and more of folks nursing their hangovers. If you are looking for a crazy party though... find another pool. Perhaps Wet Republic across the street?

Pools. There are lots of wonderful pools here and jacuzzi. Having the largest pool closed on a Saturday in June is crazy. Throughout the day starting at 9am we asked when the largest pool would be open. We got multiple answers from staff between 12-1230ish. So we set up our chairs there in the wonderful sunlight. At about 1245 we asked again and were told that the pool was not going to open. . At 9am we had our pick of chairs. At 1245 there were little to no chairs available. So I understand that poolside service is rough but this was horrible. Either you have lots of servers with one bar or lots of bars. Here there was one bar with little service. You could either stand in line for 30 minutes or wait three hours for your server. The pool was clean and comfortable, however they amount of space in the opened pools was not

I came to Oasis to meet up with some out of town friends who were staying at the Luxor during a holiday weekend so the pool area was PACKED. Luckily the pool is set up with a bunch of smaller pools so there was plenty of room to swim around and cool off. The line for the snack bar was outrageous and I rarely saw any waitresses walking around to take orders. There were attendants who cleaned up the area during the 2 hours that I was there. Each pool had a lifeguard and they blew their whistles often so their awareness of pool safety was apparent. The water itself was very cold for late August which was great and it was fairly clean. I didn't see any floating debris which is a good thing. :) There were plenty of towels and comfy lounge chairs. As a local, I may consider paying the entrance fee to come and cool off.

There's nothing special about this pool. It is dated and the crowd is a lot older so if you are young you should probably go to a different hotel pool. Everything was clean but the staff was rude and not very attentive. Also, there aren't that many chairs for guests who are not paying extra for a cabana or "reserve" lounge chair. If you want to lay out you better get there early. The food and drinks were overpriced (but it's Vegas so that's expected) but they were decent. Overall, it wasn't the worst pool but it definitely wasn't the best.

Months in advance I booked a Daybed at the Luxor Pool for August . Due to contracting COVID-19 I needed to cancel. I had no problem cancelling my suite online; however, despite numerous phone calls and emails To cancel I could not get a cancellation confirmation. I have continued to email cabana@luxor.com and get totally ignored. They charged my credit card months ago and have not credited my card. I can not seem to get any help from anyone at the Luxor. I am very disappointed at the lack of professional courtesy and customer service. Well, losing this $100 for daybed has probably saved me thousands by never going to Luxor ever. Back to Caesar's I go. There isn't even a way to contact management on the app. Shame on the Luxor especially whomever is in charge of the Oasis pool.

There are 2 separate open pools in this hotel. (I think another pool was under maintenance) Both are in the Oasis Pool Area. One pool has little "tables" in the middle for you to put your drinks on. The other pool is more of a family/playing pool. Both pools were about 3.5 feet deep and a good size for lounging around. But if you ever went you Mandalay Bay's Pool... this pool would seem like an kid's pool. But nonetheless, it was fun just to hang out here. There are also cocktail waitress walking around taking orders. Which I thought was pretty cool. They also have a snack bar and drink bar for all your munchy and alcohol needs.

I was quite disappointed and expected more. The temp outside was over 100 degrees but the water was so chilly that it felt like they filled it up with ice. Later found out that they cool the water to keep at lower temps. The water was dirty, my daughter had an allergic reaction right after. Didn't dare to go back again.

I discovered this pool at the Luxor where I was staying on the last day. sigh, what a waste. The pool is massive, with a smaller pool and hot tubs littered about. They also have tons of seating and private cabanas. I didn't have to pay entry into the pool because I was staying at the hotel but I think it was $10. Drinks are available but I didn't order any. Good place to lounge around if that's your thing.

View (general): Meh.... you see the side of the Pyramid. View (eye candy, if you know what I mean *wink wink*): Old(er) Pools: Only two were open when I went and they were small wade-y pools. Service: Didn't order anything, but I didn't really see many waitresses walking around asking for drink orders. Who knows, maybe I would have ordered something if I was asked. Overall, if you're staying here and like this stuff, head over and do yo thang. But don't expect a great pool with activities. There are no activities.

The pool is a pool. There are 2 pools. The common pool is shallow. There are read you can place your $8 beer and $4 water on. If there is a pool party pay the extra $10-$20 to be per person. Sometimes there are not enough chairs if there is a pool party.

I had a very dishonest encounter with the pool people and it turned my stomach. I reserved a daybed on the phone (for the pool area). I called three days prior, & was told it was 150 for a daybed and the cabanas were 200. I decided to book a daybed because my friend needed full shade. The man told me "Okay you are reserved for Daybed number 1." So when I got there I saw a sign saying that daybeds were 50. I asked about getting that price rather than 150. Not only did the guy say rudely, "We don't reserve daybeds." But also told me (as if I didn't know what I was talking about) that I reserved cabana number 9 (wtf??) And so I must take it and pay 150 because cabanas are 150 and all daybeds were full. Sounds like a no good down and dirty way to tell me that they gave away my daybed (if they even reserved it in the first place). If I didn't have a friend there who needed shade, I would've said screw it and immediately called management. Even though the price ended up being the same, hands down I should have never been quoted 150 for a daybed if they are 50 nor should I have been told they reserved me one. What a way to weasle folks into a higher price choice!!!! If not for the great cocktail servers and massage lady, it would get 1 star...who puts in a slide that really isn't a slide???? Fake slide. Update: Manager credited the 150 after all. Nice.

Pool was pretty filthy. Napkins and trash floated through out. Cigarette butts were strewn throughout the pool area and we got there when it first opened. Would it kill someone to sweep up occasionally so all the crap didn't end up in the pool?

Really big pools and fun to just hang out or lounge. I heard the Temptation Sundays are lots of fun. Def need to check it out next summer!
