The Oberoi Grand, Kolkata

Very nice experience and wonderful experience . I had a pleasant stay at the hotel overall. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished, making it easy to relax after a long day. I especially appreciated the smooth check-in process and the prompt room service. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of options, though a few more fresh items would improve the experience. One of the most iconic and sparkling properties in the heart of Kolkata.. You get amazed looking at the location and the architecture of the hotel.. One can never guess that something like this can exist in a busy market area( New market).. The architecture takes you to the old era , still very well maintained and looks pristine.. Not to mention the services offered is exceptional and unparallel.. The restaurants and the food offered with the highest standards.. One of my favourite hotels to stay while in Kolkata..

Very good location. Some staff members are extremely helpful and polite. Very clean.||||The room for 3 just included a folding bed and not a proper bed. So that took up space in the room. Unlike a room built for 3 beds.||||One member on the staff was quite unprofessional. I had requested an early check-in which was subject to availability. When I arrived he asked me to wait for 30–40 mins. After about an hour, he said to wait for another 30–40 mins. After waiting for about 2 hours in total when I went to the reception again, I was told the room was ready earlier but this guy “forgot to inform me”.

The rooms are quite spacious and the staff is very kind. The breakfast spread was great and the food was good. My room was clean and tidy. Value for money that’s for sure! |The hotel is at a prime location as well.

I was travelling alone on business purpose. Found rooms| are comfortable with good space. Although items in breakfast were less but with good taste. Specifically would like to mention great service offered by Ms Sumita for serving breakfast.
