18 New York Area Spots to Sip on Chardonnay This Memorial Day | Eater

"Opened earlier this year by the same team behind The Milton, The Office is a laid-back cocktail bar with a strong wine list. The food menu includes lighter bites like cheeseburger empanadas, whipped ricotta toast, charcuterie, and flatbreads so you can snack on something delicious while sipping on your glass of Harken." - Julia Gómez Kramer

Ran across The Office by accident and very glad we did. The atmosphere is great and the food is truly excellent. The Caesar salad was a large portion for a reasonable price and the burger and pasta were out of this world. Will definitely be back!

This establishment is truly remarkable. The culinary experience here is exceptional, enough to be a Michelin one-star rating—a testament to its excellence. When it comes to steak, the quality is not just good; it's prime. In fact, this might be the most tender steak you'll find in North Jersey. Having dined at restaurants across Manhattan and around the globe, I can confidently say that this place stands out. The combination of great food and ambiance makes it a top choice. Consider it your new go-to spot for both drinks and outstanding cuisine. And trust me, reservations will soon be a must. Mark my words! 🍽️🥂

Last night we went out to eat here, overall it was a great experience and delicious food. Diana, our server, was fantastic!!! The wings had a great crunch and very juicy. The open face filet mignon sandwich was done very well. The two different type of onions added a crunch and sweetness to the meal. My old fashioned was well balanced! The vibe of the place is very chill however, the music that was playing was a bit loud for me.

The Office in Guttenberg, NJ, was the perfect spot for a recent baby shower I attended. It's a charming, small, and friendly place with a lovely ambiance. But let me tell you about the food! It was absolutely divine. Everything I tasted was perfection. I've never had ceviche like it – honestly, it reminded me of my mom's cooking, and she was an exceptional cook. The restaurant was impeccably clean and the staff were incredibly friendly. Parking was also surprisingly easy to find, even on a weekend. I'm definitely going back! I'm even considering going there for Bingo Night, and I'm already thinking about celebrating the Super Bowl there with my husband. I really hope they host a Super Bowl party – it would be the perfect place to watch the game. A big thank you to our family for inviting us to celebrate their little one's arrival. I can't wait to meet the baby and enjoy many more delicious meals at The Office!

At “The Office” restaurant in Guttenberg with HCST alumni and Executive Chef Jesse Delorenzo. Everything was excellent. Congratulations, Jessie and Mayor Wayne D. Zitt.

Great staff and nice local atmosphere. I was in New Jersey for the week of comic con and whilst exploring around I came across this place. The staff in here were incredible and very attentive. There seemed to be a very good vibe inside and I took a table a little out of the way and ordered some fries and a drink. Though I kept myself to myself I felt very comfortable there and would have made it a regular place to drop in if I lived in the area.

Very pleased with this new eatery !! I was a longtime fan of the previous establishment at the same location so I may be biased, but The Office @68th has won us over. My burger and fries were absolutely delicious and my friend thoroughly enjoyed his steak & potatoes. The decor is warm & inviting, so is the staff. Will definitely be returning

Yelp
Came here while staying in West New York, NJ. They were closing soon so we unfortunately missed the kitchen but we didn't miss the bar. This cute small bar was filled with only about 3 people before we got there. The drinks were good! The server George was nice and made a helluva drink. :-)

Yelp
The most GRACEful place! A delectable selection of small bites. From Nonna's meatballs to the wings. The perfect after work spot. Friendly faces and service. Family vibes where everyone should know Mike.

Yelp
Amazing food and drinks First time here for a private event. Small bar but the bathrooms were clean and enough space to enjoy your food comfortably.

Yelp
This new spot in the heart of G-berg has a lot of potential. That being said, it wasn't a bad lunch...it was pretty OK. We walked in and were allowed to sit anywhere. At 4pm on a Saturday the bar area was pretty loud but we plopped down at a table next to it and were greeted by a polite server. Someone came by and dropped off a plate with 3 loaded bruschettas and they were very tasty. Jersey's finest sat at the bar and it was super loud but I'm sure it's a good place to day drink since my cocktail was wicked strong. I ordered a regular margarita which was intense but I happily chugged it before the entrees came. Husband had the burger ($19) and asked for it mid rare but it was a bit overcooked. The Pat La Frieda blend was still delicious but the branded bun was staaaaaaaale, oh lord!--Aesthetic but it kinda ruins the experience when you have to disassemble the burger. My open faced Peter Luger prime beef tenderloin sandwich ($28) was loaded with caramelized onions, not bad! I swapped my regular fries for roasted garlic "steak fries" and they were fine. On the table they offer ketchup, A1 steak sauce, hot sauce, salt & pepper which I experimented with on my potato spears. We quickly ate and tried to hold a conversation over the deafening chatter coming from the budget version of RHONJ. When the server dropped the check she let us know we could pay at the bar or at the register so we paid at the bar and were on our merry way. Someone's Google review said the experience was good enough to have Michelin-one star rating--that guy needs to get out more LOL. I did notice his burger came with a pickle (this place owes me a pickle!) and crinkle cut fries instead of classic cut like ours so I'm sure this place is still finding its groove. Maybe I'll be back to try it again.

Yelp
The food was awesome. The wings are the bomb. The bartender is on point. Wonderful and awesome night.
