A great Taco eatery, if you are adventurous try the 'cow tongue' taco. Additionally, try the Churros for desert. An interesting ambience for a Taco joint, large dance floor with a well stocked bar. Delray Beach's new hangout!

Girl girlfriend kinda place expensive beer local brands only. Enjoyable live music. The Brightline train suddenly rumbles at speed interrupting whatever vibe is happening. How exciting and unwanted.

Amazing place with everything you need. Great atmosphere, great vibe, great food, and great vision here. A great addition to Delray Beach.

Never knew this place existed! Went for a dog training meet-up event and the layout is great for something like that. The nachos were delicious!

2nd time at OG ✌🏼 another bar that serves some really cool aesthetic and vibes. The drinks are made well, the DJ's are great. It was cool to be there on a slower night and be able to do some line dancing to some classics with good people. Thank geezus for their fans too!

Honestly, I hate doing this. I’m not one to give bad reviews I really wanted to give a one star but I didn’t want it to affect the business I believe on improvements but I ordered the OG bowl. Jasmine Rice, Black Beans, Crispy Brussels, and Choice of Protein(s) The picture looks pretty good. Instead, I got a soggy diaper covered in guacamole with maybe three pieces of chicken save your money 80% rice

Tucked off the Ave like a well-kept secret, The OG is the kind of bar you stumble into once and end up coming back like it's a ritual. The atmosphere? Effortlessly cool. Drinks? Strong, smooth, and made with care. And the music? On point every single time--just the right vibe whether you're posted up at the bar or catching a groove in the corner. Lowkey, high quality. A true gem in the cut.

Me and a group of others visited here on a Saturday night when I was staying in Delray Beach for the weekend. We definitely had a great time here. I felt like the atmosphere was great. Great variety of music. Everyone loved the drinks. As the other reviewers stated that this place turn into a club setting at night; they're open until late. I did like the fast and efficient service we received here. The OG is a nice size place. You have the option of a bar inside and outside. When I visited here, it was a big UCF fight showing and we were able to watch it at The OG. We couldn't hear anything due to the music and it was one tv showing the fight. A lot of the crowd were at the outdoor bar area to see the fight. I also noticed that the security did a well job of handling unruly intoxicated people. I can't wait to visit here on a Thursday night for the comedy event.

The OG has recently reopened and expanded after renovations, under its new name The OG X Taquiza. Their previous down-to-earth bar remains on the inside, and they've added an outdoor bar and lots of lively outdoor patio seating surrounded by graffiti-inspired mural art. They've added food in partnership with Taquiza, a Mexican Tex-mex taqueria made popular at least in part by Guy Fieri from Diners Drive-ins and Dives, for what that's worth. You order from a food stand a variety of tasty tacos on blue corn tortillas and blue corn masa chips called totopos which are like deep fried blue corn tortillas that go with everything including guacamole and pico de gallo, yum . They give you a buzzer that buzzes when your food is ready. The food is served on cool silver trays. I didn't get a chance to try their juices; I did try a few of their margaritas, which were good, even tho mostly ice. As of mid December 2022, they are still in "start-up mode" it seems to me, with a few kinks such as not providing us with utensils or napkins. The bartenders were very attentive. The concept of ordering at the stand and bringing it to your table is different, vs a full service restaurant but that's part of its charm and uniqueness. I believe they are adding live music. I can foresee OG X Taquiza becoming a popular spot, with a younger, neighborhood-y vibe, especially if you're looking for something with less glitz and glare of places on the Ave (OG's only a few steps from the Ave so that shouldn't stop you from going). It's also another late night food spot, open Noon - 2am, 7 days a week. Great addition to the area!!

Found this place on Google and decided to try it out for happy hour. Great vibe, they have good drink specials, friendly staff and quick service. Will visit again

Visited the OG on a Thursday night for the free local comedy event. Apparently the OG has been around for sometime and more recently got a much needed renovation with the addition of the new apartment complex that was built right next door. They have a great outdoor bar and patio space with games and tons of seating. Even an area for DJ booth. We ate beforehand but discovered they had a food truck style taco stand towards the back. After getting a somewhat overpriced drink, we decided to try out some tacos and decided to give them a try. The street style tacos were delicious but VERY small - for the price it should have had a bit more meat on them but the blue corn tortillas were great. They have a limited menu with only a few taco options, appetizers and a few desserts so I wouldn't plan on this being your only meal. You can tell everything was freshly made and the sauces that were served with them were delicious. The staff was pretty decent - their indoor area where the comedy event was thankfully had air conditioning and the bar staff inside was very nice. If you're looking for a chill bar off the beaten path in the downtown Delray Beach area, The OG is a great local spot to visit.

Had some friends/family in town from Brooklyn, LA, and Houston and I just knew this would be the chill vibe they needed. Friday nights they are plenty busy. So if you're not much for crowds avoid that night like us. Pop in a Sunday. We in about 6p after finding parking and it's like you have the place to yourself. Plenty of great music at all hours and the bartenders ready to mix you up whatever you can image. But the beers and the outside decor are the prize! Ig ready backdrops at every angle. Capture as much as possible while the sun is coming down and gloat a little to everyone that you know is still suffering through the real winter. After a few drinks and all the sunny pictures taken slide indoors to some of the other rooms. It's small and comfy and just feels right. The people are friendly and it's just a vibe. The whole thing feels like a throwback. We ranged from late 20's to late 30's. The crowd does get younger as it gets later but all are welcomed.

Came here over the weekend with my boyfriend and Frank and Andrew were great. Love the vibe. Super chill and beautiful artwork on the walls. We overstayed because of Andrew and Frank. They are great bartenders and very friendly and hospitable. Great spot for drinks! Would love to come here when it's busier.

This is not what I was expecting! ha ha The OG basically turns into a club after a certain time. My buddy and I were fine with that, but we ended up leaving because it's not what we were looking for at that moment. He and I were just looking for a chill place to grab a drink on a Friday night. Prior to that there was still lots of hustle and bustle, packed bars, etc. But, we were able to get our drinks within a decent amount of time. Very nice outdoor space! We ordered some tacos and apps and enjoyed them with our adult beverages. Tacos were very delicious and priced well! Everyone was very friendly. We would go back ... and take more friends with us!

First time over here. I was enticed by the $12 cocktails. We visited on the day of the Delray Beach Bed Races - right out front - so the place was busy. I enjoyed the combination of indoor/outdoor spaces, friendly staff and manager (Bramden?), and laid back feel. The Painkiller was well balanced and easy to drink. The Blackberry Old Fashioned was fun, but a little too sweet. The only downside is that you have to go to different areas to order food and drinks. For example we were cooling off in the indoor bar, but to get food, we would have had to leave our spot to go get the food. Between the Bed Races and fabulous murals, it has a slight Miami/Wynwood Walls feel.

5 Stars for a really cool atmosphere that begs you to stay and chill for a while (and maybe dance). THIS is the type of place that makes me love Yelp so much. We were in Delray and looking for a bar to continue our evening and The O.G. came up. Great reviews, so we were in. Like many people have mentioned, this is the type of place you want to succeed, but you also don't want everyone to know about it and ruin it. The night we went was on a weekend and it was pleasantly full but you could still get a drink at the bar fairly easily. The vibe is fantastic and the drinks were just what we needed. Strong. And well-crafted. We hung out around the bar because the DJ was killing it, but there's an outdoor area as well. It was so bizarre and kind of perfection- we sat on the small stack of bleachers and I felt like I was in a 90s teen movie. The night ended in an impromptu dance party by the front with beautiful, artistic creatures and no creepy guys trying to grab us- so that's a huge plus. 100% I would return when back down south and I look forward to bringing friends!

How had I not written a review for this place already? It has become one of my favorite spots in Delray. From the outside it might not look like much but, don't let appearances fool you. Inside it's a completely different vibe. It's like stepping back in time once you enter through the door. Very dim lights, popcorn machine at the bar, dark shelves filled with old games, antiques and liquor boxes. An old fashioned small fridge adds a fun touch to the bar, and the couch at the entrance is one you can imagine being from the "That 70's Show". Everything in here, as eclectic as it may seem goes together giving the inside part of the bar a cozy, retro atmosphere. If you want something different, step outside! It's a completely different feel. Picnic tables are set to be shared, some with fun messages on them. The décor and "graffiti" style art on the walls changes by season or Holiday. And on Tuesdays they have a Taco Truck, to celebrate Taco Tuesdays. Last time I went we got a free taco with the purchase of a drink. The bar is fully stocked, drinks are strong, and service is usually fast, even when the bar is packed. No pretentiousness from staff or patrons, just a fun chill place to hang out. Again, one of my favorites in Delray and one I share with visiting friends and now with you to enjoy!

this is definitely more a bar with snack options than a food destination. i was a little throw off by that. for food you order at a walk up counter. tried ordering the totopos but they said they couldnt do it because they were out of salsa and guac. kinda weird. however, we tried 4 different tacos: fried mahi, pollo, camarones, & al pastor. we liked all the tacos. nothing special but also not bad. prob wouldnt come back but if youre at the bar and got hungry theyd suffice.

Way more space!! It's so great having indoor/outdoor area here that makes sense. Two bars, walk up area to order tacos, haven't tried yet. Bar tenders are great. Friendly and attentive. I will say that the music inside the bar reminds me of the previous OG. Outside music or Djs play like Miami house music and not a fan so I go inside. All in all what an amazing improvement for The OG!

Hell yeah! Bitch, I feel good. This is a hidden gem in downtown Delray. The display front has a pickup truck and ads for food prices on the windows leading to the Oceanside Grocers. When you step inside, this is no grocery store. There are a couple high top tables and couches right before the bar area. A few booths are available to sit at as well. The decor takes it back to the 70s. There are posters and knick knacks hanging on the walls and shelving to portray the grocery store look. It's ridiculously cool and there's a beer garden outside with picnic tables and a camper trailer. There was a DJ playing music when we went on a Saturday night and some people even brought their dogs in while they were enjoying a drink or two. The bartenders know their game. I could have went for a cocktail, but I stuck with a craft beer. The radler grapefruit was unlike any other craft beer I've had ever and it was damn good. Kudos to the success they're having and it shall remain a secret chill spot for a little while longer.

Honestly all I have to say is that this is my new regular spot. It looks like the inside of someone's 70s style home. Laced with plants and retro art, and the staff is hip and super knowledgeable about craft drinks. Don't let the craft beers fool you, they have ICEES and popcorn too. It's super cute! There's a huge back porch and the place is let friendly! Definitely an amazing spot. If you beg the bartender enough they'll even play Africa by Toto for you (haha my favorite song).

Drinks were great. There with some friends early on a Tuesday. We enjoyed the covered outdoor area. Staff were really nice.

Wow... Found another killer spot to hang either after work, during the day, at night. The people working the bar are cool. The people hanging out at the bar are cool. Just an air of retro coolness. With a look of a nondescript neighborhood market, straight out of the 70s, the O.G. has an equally stylistic look on the inside from the shelving with "supplies" and "groceries" on them to the lounge area with the sofa and chaise to the bar -- everywhere hung relics of different advertising posters from the period and other knickknacks. Hell, there's even a little produce section where they have different veggies and fruits, but I'm sure they're not for sale; that's where they keep them for the bar. And you can enjoy complementary popcorn from one of those machines that look straight out of the 70s. Yes, that's the reoccurring theme throughout this bar, and it's quite magical. The staff behind the bar were tops, especially, since they made me a G&T with my favorite gin, The Botanist. I ended up having three because they were going down so easy. They definitely know how to make their drinks there. They have a decent selection of craft beer in cans, bottles and on tap, as well as wine in a can. Their spirit selection is pretty good. They have enough on the shelves to do some good cocktails, and have the menu to prove that -- I was just preferring to go simple this time around. While I had heard of a large back porch, I didn't make it out into that area on my first trip. I'm sure I will get to it on the next visit. The place is just so groovy with glorious-ness. More importantly, the vibes are awesome. I was probably sitting at the bar, minding my own business for no more than 10 to 15 minutes when I had one woman start a conversation with me, followed by other people. Just a lot of good energy and juju around this joint. Parking is not too hard to find, but keep in mind, it's mostly limited to the street since the O.G. is away from the main district in Delray. Therefore, you will probably need to park a block or two away either at the next street on SE 2nd Street, or cruise around in hopes of finding something closer. While there are lots between Atlantic and SE 1st Street on SE 2nd Avenue, as well as SE 1st Avenue, they are a couple of blocks walking to the O.G. -- unless you don't mind doing so. Overall, the O.G. was a good find. I had heard about the place for a couple of months now, and glad I was able to pay my first visit. If this visit was any indication, it will certainly not be my last. Not by a long shot.

This is what Delray needed! Such a chill vibe. This bar is disguised as a grocery store, so don't be confused when you show up. There's a cool outdoor area with trailers and lawn chairs, even some flamingos! This place is the epitome of eclectic. The decor is mismatched, but it just adds to the charm. I've never really seen a place like this. The staff were absolutely friendly. If I had to compare this to anything, it reminds me of Rhythm and Vine I'm Lauderdale, but on a smaller scale. Tonight is the grand opening and they have open bar to welcome the community! It definitely brought it swarms of people, so it was a good way to start off. I spent most of my time outside, but inside was so cool. They have a vintage PAC Man machine and a cool bar you've got to see. To keep with the grocery store facade, they have goods on shelves and straws in cans.

Not great anymore. Food is so so. Service is okay. Everyone is friendly. I haven't been there for late night dancing since they reopened but it use to be amazing.

I stopped by this past Saturday around 12:30 for a beer and some tacos with my son, and it wasn't open. It didn't look like it was going to open up any time soon. I've stopped by previously in the early afternoon and it was open - it's also posted they open at noon. It was disappointing, because I love the tacos here.

I went here since they redid the outside and I love the concept. Corn hole, giant connect 4, and tons of space if you go here with a group. Also pet friendly! The outside bars liquor is warm (outside temp) so the shots weren't so enjoyable but I would go back again for the games and an iced cocktail.

Fun hang out spot with super cute vibes. The drinks were delicious but not very strong. I would come back but also wouldn't rave about it. Service is ok but not the most friendly.

Ever since remodeling I have been been to the OG a number of times and it's been nothing but a great experience. Although, one thing I will not stand for is animal cruelty especially in such a loud and rowdy environment. This man brought his puppy into the inside bar on a Saturday night which plays very loud music. He came in throwing his dog in the air, and walking him on a leash in a crowded area. The dog was visibly uncomfortable and the owner did nothing about it and yelled at me for " interrupting his night"

Great fun place. Frequent a lot here but, one of the managers, Savannah went completely out of their way to make sure all was well for all patrons.

The structure of the O.G. leads itself to believe it's a mini mart with O.G. standing for "oceanside grocers". The exterior windows have painted "ADs" with the prices of oranges etc. The grocer vibe continues inside with a giant rack splitting the bar/seating area that makes it seems like dry groceries for sale. Meanwhile this is no grocery. The O.G. is a bar/beer garden. I have been several times since they opened a few months ago and the place just keeps evolving. It is very different from any other spot in downtown delray and the secret is out. The last couple times I have visited it has been packed. They have an inside bar as well as a outside bar. They typically have a DJ inside and outside they have lots of picnic tables and a small outdoor lounge area near the outside bar. The have specialty drinks but I have always ordered beer or MIA hard water. Overall my review will just not do this unique spot justice. Just do yourself a favor and check out the OG!

A great place to enjoy drinks and good food off the beaten path of Atlantic Ave crowds. I love this hidden gem and introduced my sister to it on Easter. A mix of locals and visitors having fun. Tate, by far ,the best bartender along with many there. Tate is amazing at the service he provides. Best service Thank you Tate Be back soon !!!!!!

One of those spots you want to tell people about, but to "too many" people. As in, you don't want the place to get so poplar its not cool any more. With the O.G., I don't think the word had gotten yet, 'cause it's a dope spot to hang out. I had gotten word about it from a friend so the other night when we were downtown Delray we decided to work our way a couple blocks south to where O.G. is hidden away. We wandered into this unassuming joint not knowing what to expect. The DJ who was spinnin was playing great stuff. a combination of soul music and EDM. We wandered up to the bar, noting that for a place that was hip was surprisingly empty, maybe 10 people. We got our drinks plenty fast and at a decent price and kicked back. we were appreciating the decor, a brick brac of 70's stuff and things you would find in a warehouse. It gave it a chill vibe. We only stayed for a couple beverages, but we will be back soon. Hopefully... before everyone hears how good this spot is.

Fun new bar/beer garden in delray! Definitely a change from your average establishment that people are used to on the ave! Great music, awesome selection of beer and cool atmosphere. It's definitely a spot worth checking out if you're looking for something different.

I went to The OG restaurant to have a dinner but what a disrespectful service. 4 people came after me the server pick they orders without asking me nothing, I wait 10 more minutes nothing happened so just decide to leave.

I love the O.G. I feel like it's a hidden gem in Delray and I hope it continues to be "hidden". The outdoor area has a very cool vibe and cool art work. They have great DJ's that come through. Unique drinks and a chill atmosphere.

I had a great time here! I love the unique and quirky decor! The trailer was my favorite, dont ask! Lol it was very chill and the bartender was so cool! We sat outside, it was a nice night. Cornhole is available to play which is fun too. My cousins and husband thought the place was odd but I loved it! Note: it looks like a shady place when you pull up but I promise you it's not lol

The new OG is open and Taquiza- their new taqueria is serving. And it's AWFUL!!! Service is a mess, the food is messy and poorly made, it seems no one is in charge. You have to wade through a line of folks waiting to order for your pick up. Management- put the " Order here " space on the East side of the counter, and the pick up on the West!! But it was really the food that was so bad- the Carnita was frighteningly raw, Quesadillas overcooked and salty inedible, Brisket was wet and Messy, and flavorless. Forget the hype, the place is awful!!!!!

Super chill and cool place to go for drinks. It gets quite busy on Saturday and a long wait at the inside bar for a drink but there's a bar out back to grab a quick drink from. I loved the outside space with lots of tables and a cute patio vibe. Inside is darker and more closed off. Nice beer selection.

Cool vibe attempt, but not the ideal clientele or experience. They allow dogs (which is great, we brought our well behaved pup), but concurrently, less than savory dog owners who let their unneutered dogs mark the stools, couch, and your wife's dress. The staff (albeit not their direct fault) does nothing to police this issue. PSA - don't sit on the stools across from the bar or on the couch next to the entrance. They must be soaked in dog pee at this point. Finally, don't be fooled by the owners west coast style "cult" concept, it's just a dive bar off Atlantic with aspirations of being more than it actually is. This place is a hard pass, save your dollars for a more authentic experience at your favorite spot.

Love the new renovation but so confused about the new music choices. The OG use to be the best place for rap and throw back rap (Meek mill, Kodak, Lil Wayne, Ice Burg, Future) but now they have a mix of trans/ house music. We use to love the fact that the OG felt like you were at a house party. Let's hope they see this and bring it back

The Barbacoa tacos are number 1 the best thing I've ever tasted They deserve an award for the tacos.

Very disappointing to find the classic margaritas are not offered during happy hour. Both Roccos and El Camino offer a $5.00 margarita. You would think a venue 3 blocks from the beaten path would strive to be competitive and draw customers from Atlantic Avenue. I so wanted to like this place.

What a great addition to Delray! This is one of only a few spots in Delray that is just a bar, as they don't serve food. The inside has bar stools and some booth seating, and plenty of room for standing. I have been twice now on Saturday nights, and both times the place filled up by 10:30pm. The DJ plays the perfect type of music--not too loud for a bar and not music that should be played in a club. Service is great and the people are friendly. There's also an outdoor space with some seating. Definitely check this place out!

I love this place. Always good vibes. Good music. Drink prices could be better but it is off the main Ave, so that's expected. Everyone that works here is super friendly. They even have trivia with prizes every week. Super dope, would recommend 12/10.

My first time coming here with a group of fiends and I have to say I'm hooked. I enjoyed the cozy homey atmosphere and the bartender wa so pleasant. They place old school fun music and have a Dj on the weekends. The area is a bit sketchy but once inside all is good. Really good drinks and a knowledgeable bartender make for a fun night. I would definitely come back here, great hangout spot!

One of my favorite spots on the ave! It's pretty well hidden but that's what makes it that much more special. It reminds me of a speak easy and I like that it's a little away from the busy strip of Atlantic Ave but still a cool place to get drinks either after work or on a night out. Definitely check it out!

I love this place. Kenny is the damn man. Great vibes, but the Instagram admin is a fucking hipster asshole. Not professional, & treats his customers like shit. Other than that. Kenny you're the man!! Can't wait to come back !

By far my favorite spot in Delray Beach. The culture there, the vibe, it's all on point. Everyone there is an artist in all different types of ways. Highly recommend. Also, the craft cocktails are nothing short of incredible.

This place wants to be hip, local and cool so bad but it's none of the above. I've been to hundreds of great bars all over the world and the kid bartending at this place had mixologist syndrome so bad it was brutal to even listen. It's like a hodgepodge of stolen ideas from other cool bars blended into one shitty Sangria of an establishment. If this place could learn to keep its chin down and mouth shut, and just pays its dues and give great service it would be so much cooler. Instead it's the insecure new kid in class. One star for better than average can beer selection.

This is an great place and i was looking forward to go out and have a good time, I am from Missouri and had just gotten a new ID because I lost my last one however the security guard outside considered my I'd to be fake because it' was a too thin even though the new Missouri IDS are thinner than normal IDS. When Missouri enacted the REAL ID law the DMV stated that they would be making the IDS thinner and more light weight. However i did not want to tell the security this because he would probably think that I was just saying that! Other than that its a real great place to go with friends and have a good time.

Great hidden treasure unlike anything else around. If you find it, you will love it! Michaela made an awesome drink and served great conversation too. Definitely a spot I'll return to.
