This little bar shouldn’t be overlooked. It’s small but down-to-earth, attracting primarily patrons in their late 40s to late 60s, though there are a few younger people that balance out the atmosphere. Overall, it provided a great experience. The waitresses were sweet, attentive, and offered fast, courteous service. The food was generally good; the fish was fresh, and the fries were also fresh, although the potato fries were a little cold. I'm not sure what happened there, but they were still okay. The Mac and Jack I had was delicious, and my fiancé ordered the Kona Longboard. Two Macs cost $14, and a Kona Longboard $7 not too bad considering it's one of Bow’s local bars.
As for the atmosphere, I would rate it a five out of five. The food I’d give a four out of five, but I haven’t tried everything on their menu yet. The prices are fair considering the location. I loved the interior with its dark decor and walls adorned with interesting pictures and reading material.
One suggestion I'd offer is to add a pool table somewhere, perhaps in the corner by the back door, which would be fun for the younger crowd. Overall, I would visit again. I love the quaint saloon look, and feel was a vibe for me.
