Look, we went to this place for probably the same reasons most people do...it's in a great location, with open-air seating, right on the sidewalk, and it looked safe and clean. The atmosphere is very generic, but the Logan Square central people-watching is excellent. I'm sure the drinks are just fine, if uninspired (a word that could sum the entire place up neatly)
The food, however, is where everything broke down. The selection is very average, but then the average-in-nature food was just no good. I have personally never had such a dry, hard-to-eat chicken sandwich in my life, and then the other sandwiches at our table were equally meh. The fries had the unique property that they tasted NOTHING like potatoes, but instead exactly like nachos, which messed with our minds. I like nachos, and I like french fries, but the unholy amalgam of these was not good. It's obvious they have fried, like, ten-thousand nacho chips in the same oil, which gave the fries their "fiesta". I hate being so negative, but I also hate when people don't even try to serve good food. I also hate the wasted opportunity to try something better in the area.
