"The Old Spaghetti Factory stood for 25 years in downtown Minneapolis, known for its 90s-era kitsch, candelabra elegance, and reliable, gently flavored food. The restaurant is closing on August 24 due to the end of its lease." - Joy Summers

The food wasn't anything all too special and it was overpriced. The building and decor was absolutely stunning, from the stained glass, to the exposed beams, to the gorgeous Victorian furniture and light fixtures. The gluten free friendly options were nice. The dinner included bread/salad, entree and dessert. The staff seemed to hurry us through our meal and our waiter seemed a little indifferent. Overall, the experience was nothing to phone home about...

A friend of mine recommended I eat at The Old Spaghetti Factory because their spaghetti is supposed to be amazing. When I checked out the menu I noticed they had crab meat ravioli and I am a sucker for seafood. It came with a soup and full loaf if bread for $16.50. It was nasty and that is why I am giving this place a poor review. The crab ravioli was entirely too sweet as in they may use sugar. I expected it to be rich and it wasn't. I also had ordered as take out so maybe that is why the quality was poor. I also ordered a side of calamari which made my bill around $27. I just feel like I could have ate somewhere else better for that price. I may go back and order the spaghetti but that crab ravioli left a bad taste in my mouth literally and figuratively.

The food wasn't original or hand prepared as I'd expect from such a fancy and upper-scale looking restaurant. Great atmosphere, great interior, friendly staff, but my side salad being overdressed and my food lukewarm was a huge downer. Wife was unimpressed with the fresh set of silverware having some food still stuck on it. The highlight was the meal including dessert, which saved the occasion. With a really meh set of food, I have to swipe three stars off the score. Wish I could have given it a 2.5, but it is what it is.

Fast and friendly service. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat anytime you are in the area. They have fun beverages for kids and adults. And the three course meal isn't complete until you eat your ice cream!

We had reservations for 4:45 on a busy night. We were very punctual-arrived on time. It took us over 20 minutes to be seated and we didn't get our beverages until 5:30. We knew what we wanted to order so there should have not been delays. Besides taking forever for the food, one of the kid's meals came 10 minutes after everyone else's. That is not acceptable. It seemed they were under staffed. We had to ask for our ice cream and bill at 6:30 because we had somewhere to be. The food... if you like bland food, you will love their pastas. I was not a fan. The bread and chicken piccata are recommended if you like flavor. What I liked.... our server was very nice and did work hard. It also has a nice atmosphere.

This is just another Spaghetti Warehouse. But, is pretty good food for the $$. Cool interior design with an old brick town feel to the place. The service was very good. Big place, was expecting a waiting list on a Friday night but got seated right away. Food, really good! Came with fresh bread right out of the oven. Soup or salad and spumoni ice cream for dessert comes with your meal. It is NOT all you can eat nor do they have a salad bar. All & all a good family restaurant.

Beautiful building and decor. I had the spinach and cheese raviolis very good. Mills were also served with bread, soup or salad and and ice cream for dessert. Everything was very good I would go back

Food was very good. Service was great. We arrived at 7pm on a busy Saturday night. The two of us were seated and served in under one hour. Many comments about the service. They must be listening. We had a very good experience in a really beautiful building. Kids will love the cotton candy limeade.
