Yelp
I saw some ads on FB for a hot sauce called Truff. When I checked the website, it had some high-end retailers (Neiman-Marcus) and gourmet shops that carried the sauce. The Olive Crush was a location, so after work, I hopped in my car and drove on over.
I believe the gentleman that helped me is named Mike. Mike is not only knowledgeable, but he is kind and friendly. He helped and greeted every customer without being pushy and overbearing. I came in for the sauce, but after looking at the amazing pasta and tasting some olive oil, I left with pastas, two olive oils, the Truff hot sauce, artichoke bread, and a crispy corn snack.
Mike was able to recommend a delicious olive oil to pair with the artichoke bread, the orzo, and garlic chive pappardelle I purchased.
I definitely see myself as a repeat customer. I can't wait to cook my pasta and bread with the olive oil, and I can't wait to try the hot sauce (one of Oprah's favorite things!).
If you need gift ideas for folks in your life, Olive Crush is a great spot. They have pre-made baskets, or you can buy things to make your own.
Facebook almost got me to buy online, but I'm thankful I decided to not be lazy and get out and support a local business.
