I've only ordered online but the vinegars arrived less than 24 hours later, impeccably packed! I first discovered their product at a similarly titled store in a seaside town on Long Island, fell in love with everything and had some shipped to me in CA. But the supplier is in California, so I was thrilled to discover Olive Crush. Can't wait to visit their stores! My favorites for salad are cranberry pear white balsamic and Sicilian lemon white balsamic. Apple is great too. The fruity dark balsamics are delicious on desserts and ice cream. The oils are amazing, walnut is so good and their sesame oil is great and stays fresh a long time in the fridge.

This place is a delightful surprise to stumble across. Sooo many rich ingredients worth to learn about and try. We bought of corse olive 🫒 oil, vinegar, real gelato, real ready to be cooked ravioli and dry pasta. Absolutely no disappointments here. Mike really took the time to share some facts. These facts encouraged us to try and boy, he was right. We are hooked and will be regular customers here. Please, stop by ask questions, learn and try. If you love cooking or eating, this place is where it’s at! The owner, Mike, is super friendly and talkative— he’ll ask a couple questions to get to know what you like/what you’re looking for (or more like what you don’t even know you’re looking for haha) and then give you samples and recommendations based on that. He recommended a peach balsamic and basil olive oil— the combo is mind-blowing and delicious on an arugula salad. He also suggested a Jamaican Jerk sauce (actually made in Kingston), which was AMAZING. We used it as a marinade for chicken thighs (1.5 hours marinating) and then grilled— wow, so good!

This place is so awesome and has a variety of different olive oils to choose from. Not only that, but they offer fresh bread and nuts as well. To top it all off, the owner Mike is the most amazing person. I could have stayed in the store for hours talking to him, he is a real genuine guy.

We stopped by Mike’s place earlier in the morning without any expectations. Half an hour later, we walked out with two little bags and were full of joy. Mike did a wonderful job on introducing us to various kinds of olive oil and coffee, he is such a nice guy. We will come back

Play on words, get it, to crush the olives for olive oil? Anyways, that's as much mansplaining as I'm going to do. I really like this place a lot for it's wide variety of olive oil, friendly service, and fresh pasta and sauces. I can't tell which olive oil to buy for cooking versus a salad dressing because I'm ignorant, that's why I like coming here because it takes the guess work out of everything. Anyways, step up your olive oil game, grab some easy to cook pasta and sauce and feel like you know what you're doing in no time, even if you don't.

This place has all the olive oils and balsamics you can think of. It has a minimalistic no-fuss vibe, and is always pretty quiet when I come in. I end up being the only customer there along with my dog since the shop is dog-friendly. Staff are accommodating and often don't hesitate to help out or fill up a bigger bottle of oil for me.

If you're looking for olive oil or vinegar, look not further than Olive Crush! It's similar to another local shop I frequent in Burlingame, but prices are lower and they offer larger bottles! Worker was friendly, but they don't offer any samples to taste (store policy). Luckily you can't really go wrong with any of the options! They also sell ravioli, pasta, sauces, and artichoke bread. We bought the bread because we love artichokes, but we actually didn't really enjoy it that much. Still have half a loaf left, so will try baking it again as directed and see if it turns out better this time!

I never thought I'd get so into olive oil, but here we are. The artichoke garlic bread? Absolutely delicious. Mike recommended it and even gave us tips on exactly how to cook it at home--and it turned out perfectly. Crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. Whether you're shopping for gifts or just looking to try something delicious, Olive Crush is a must-visit. Mike's the kind of person who makes you want to come back--not just for the products, but for the genuine hospitality.

Good quality olive oils. The owner is nice and social with customers. i try to make at least one trip a month from San Francisco, to refill up on fresh quality olive oil. I believe they're relocating to a different location on the same street, i like forward to visiting very soon.

Mike, the owner, is an incredible guy who has been through so much in life and yet still greets all of the customers with incredible energy and enthusiasm. I won't go into details out of respect for his personal privacy, but the dude's absolutely been to hell and back. The selection is great, everything is fresh and the prices are some of the best in the area for this kind of olive oil and balsamic vinegar specialty shop. I've bought everything from pasta to sesame oil to gelato at his shop and nothing has disappointed! Stop on by and take a look at his products, you will for sure find something great to take home.

I'm spoiled and can't buy olive oil or balsamic vinegar from anywhere else now. I've cycled through a few different flavors and they've all been outstanding. The owner has a breadth of knowledge that makes sure folks don't feel overwhelmed by the choices or where to start. There are different sizes so you don't have to fear commitment. Great spot if you're looking to enhance your cooking or you've gone keto and want freshly made salad dressing (super simple and delicious olive oil + balsamic vinegar but you could get fancy and add Dijon and garlic). Can't recommend enough.

This place has an overwhelming selection of olive oils and balsamic vinegars. We were shopping for gifts for family who are local to the bay area. We got some olive oil and pasta for our relatives. We also loaded up on dried pasta to take back home for ourselves.

They have a large variety of olive oils and balsamic vinegars in various sizes. Bought a 750 ml bottle of Coratina and it's a full bodied oil which I like. Will definable go back again when I need more.

Wonderful local shop that has been a staple in the community for many years. Service is friendly and personable. They have a great selection of olive oils and vinegars but also other unique fare to choose from like dried pastas. This past weekend, we stopped by and picked up gift sets for the holidays. Mike is the man! I don't know if he's from the Midwest, but I am, and he definitely has that kind of vibe you would expect from someone who lives there. I came in asking for a few suggestions for homemade salad dressing, and he went out of his way to not only give me suggestions but also provided a taste test! He is incredibly personable, and you can tell he genuinely enjoys and appreciates olive oils. The store is super cute and offers a lot of local products. Mike is a wealth of knowledge about all his products. Fun fact: he met Obama twice and has worked with the 49ers!

We stumbled upon Olive Crush while in desperate need of pasta to cook for guests coming over for dinner. I was impressed by the varieties of fresh ravioli available to choose from. We picked up a few cacio y Pepe boxes for $10 each. They were amazing! The dough was the perfect consistency- not gummy and thick but also not too thin. I'm not sure if we were interacting with the owner or an employee but he was super friendly and gave us some great tips for cooking the raviolis. He was also super knowledgeable about all the various products. I would love to come back and purchase some of the other raviolis like the crab or lobster ones for another meal.

You can find olive oil and vinegar (plus other things) sold here! I wanted to stop by here because I wanted to grab something neat for my friend's birthday. I asked if they did samples and the guy (I think the owner) said no and explained that it was really costly with people wasting so many cups and spilling too much of the olive oil etc so they did away with tasting cups altogether. However if you are interested in something, they can open the jug for you and let you sniff the container's contents. I ended up getting a garlic olive oil and a Japanese sesame oil based on the smells alone. I got an extra bottle of the sesame oil for our house. We went home and tasted the sesame oil. I thought the oil smelled better than it tasted (the taste itself was quite mild) but still yummy. It made a nice addition to a soup and some dumplings I ate later. The guy (who I think was the owner) was very friendly and talkative. He explained that they also sell fresh pastas from local chefs that only sell to restaurants (and his store). They did look yummy so I guess we'll have to try them sometime. Prices here were very reasonable.

How should I say.. this place is easily my favorite place in San Carlos. I am a big fan of their balsamic vinegar and olive oil. My favorites are basil and Tuscan herb olive oil, and pomegranate and peach balsamic vinegar. But that doesn't stop there.. they also have fresh pasta that has great consistency, super delicious crispy corn snacks, and most importantly, their pesto is... AMAZING. Not to mention Mike is one of the friendliest person I've ever met. You can talk to him about everything and he would not hesitate to give you tips about his products. He knows his stuff!! I'm a repeat customer, and would recommend you to check out this place.

I saw some ads on FB for a hot sauce called Truff. When I checked the website, it had some high-end retailers (Neiman-Marcus) and gourmet shops that carried the sauce. The Olive Crush was a location, so after work, I hopped in my car and drove on over. I believe the gentleman that helped me is named Mike. Mike is not only knowledgeable, but he is kind and friendly. He helped and greeted every customer without being pushy and overbearing. I came in for the sauce, but after looking at the amazing pasta and tasting some olive oil, I left with pastas, two olive oils, the Truff hot sauce, artichoke bread, and a crispy corn snack. Mike was able to recommend a delicious olive oil to pair with the artichoke bread, the orzo, and garlic chive pappardelle I purchased. I definitely see myself as a repeat customer. I can't wait to cook my pasta and bread with the olive oil, and I can't wait to try the hot sauce (one of Oprah's favorite things!). If you need gift ideas for folks in your life, Olive Crush is a great spot. They have pre-made baskets, or you can buy things to make your own. Facebook almost got me to buy online, but I'm thankful I decided to not be lazy and get out and support a local business.

There are so many different olive oils and balsamic vinegars for cooking and other uses such as marinades, dressings, and even cocktails. Honestly, I was overwhelmed because I didn't know where to start or what to try first. But the owner was there to provide superb customer service. He walked me through how the products were made and discussed common food pairings for the oils and vinegars I was interested in trying. He also offers fresh made pasta and bread. I've only tried a few products here but I imagine you can't choose wrong. Some of my favorite products include lemon olive oil and honey ginger balsamic vinegar. This business ships all over so make sure to check them out and place an order soon! You won't regret it!

Just got into my car after visiting this place for the first time. Let me tell you, MIKE, he is awesome! Really great. Genuinely nice and helpful person. I'm shocked. Mike, if you're reading this, thank you so much for the advice and tips on nola and teaching me some new things about the pasta, bread, and oils. Honestly, I would definitely keep shopping here. Wish everyone was like Mike. Definitely a MUST business to support. Deserves it completely.

Dog friendly! Super inviting, great place to wonder after taking the dogs to a near by dog park. They offer bread, pasta, macarons, hawaiian snacks and more! We picked up some Jamaican Jerk sauce, snacks and truffle oil. Try their truffle oil on popcorn! It's delish! Friendly atmosphere.

We were drawn in the by the sign on the storefront window that says "fresh artichoke bread from Pescadero"... confirmed! It's from Arcangelli's. Mike's tip to add olive oil and garlic powder to marinate for 15 min, and then bake for 7-10 min at 350 deg. Mike was very nice. We ended up buying a bottle of herb infused olive oil, Molinari salami, and partially baked Arcangeli's bread.

I love their traditional balsamic vinegar. I first found The Olive Crush in half moon bay and fell in love with it. They have numerous different flavored balsamic and olive oils and they offer sample tasting. I tried many different flavors and found traditional to be my favorite. It doesn't taste as vinegary as some of the other brands and has just right sweet tanginess to the flavor. The owner was very nice and gave me lots of tip on how to use balsamic on recipes. Their fresh squid ink pasta was great as well. Very flavorful. Highly recommend!

I'm super impressed with the selection of the olive oil and balsamic vinegar selection here. The store is a welcoming market with ingredients you need for a gourmet Italian meal. The store Mike is super friendly and helpful. He has so many stories on how celebrity chefs use his products and some famous restaurants sauce truffle oil and ingredients from them. We're very fortunate to have the super convenient and friendly store in town. In the past, I always purchase from Napa and Sonoma, I'm glad the best of the best is just in our neighborhood.

Mike the owner offers great information on all the olive oils, vinegars and products in his store. It's a clean bright store with a wide variety of high quality products and priced right. They have novelty items such as artichoke and sour dough breads, fresh pasta, spices from Napa and gelato to name a few; all delicious. I go each time I visit from Hawaii and always buy the lemon olive oil my fave, balsamic and some new flavors. He ships them to me USPS wrapped perfectly. Customer service is outstanding as well as prices and selection! I've even done phone orders and had them shipped. I highly recommend this locally owned and operated small business.

The Olive Crush is a "must visit" for us every time we go to the San Carlos Art & Wine Festival. Endless varieties of olive oil and balsamic vinaigrettes. My favorites are the truffle oil and strawberry balsamic! What sets the shop apart from others is how passionate and knowledgeable the owner is. You can tell he really loves his business.

I have been a regular client of Mikes for years. Always enjoy his jovial reception of customers, and excellent guidance on creative pairings of his oils and vinegars. Because of Covid, I have had to resort to online ordering, but I can always count on quality and speedy delivery. His selection of pastas, spices, seasonings and amazing fresh breads and focaccias can't be beat! He also puts together amazing gift baskets. I guess I can't deny, I love this place!!

PSA they have Truff (this truffle + hot sauce) is crack. I had been debating buying this on Amazon for awhile now, but with it right before my eyes there was no way I could resist. #stillshopinstores #onlineisntalwaysbetter Anyway, I bought it and opened up it right then and there! Beyond that, if it isn't excitement enough: -So many varieties of dry pastas: All shapes and flavors - Olive oils and balsamics line both sides of the store - Service: The guy who works here is so friendly and also threw in some jerk sauce for us that was nearing expiration - Yummy corn nuts: These ones are softer than the norm, and they have a varieties of flavors. They have samples at the front. This place is right next to Suzie Cakes so you can really do some damage between the two! Oh me oh my. For quite a little shop, it packs a nice punch for Downtown San Carlos.

We first found their store in Half Moon Bay and had to come to this one. The gentleman, I think the owner, was super nice. The lady working there was awesome, too!!!! They really know their stuff and provided so many different options. The flavors of their oils are very distinct and tasty. Like whatever is advertised is truly infused. We are just learning this stuff and glad we did. Totally worth the money which is not expensive at all for the flavors you get. Unfortunately the production of some of the flavors i like isn't being produced or something is going on overseas. We will be back regardless.

What a fantastic selection of olive oils, pasta, sauces and OMG fresh baked breads!!! The owner, Mike, is a really wonderful person who truly loves what he does. Last night when friends cancelled dinner plans at the last minute I wandered over and got a fresh loaf of sourdough, an incredible pasta sauce with artichokes and capers, and raviolis (filled with asparagus and cheese). Absolutely delicious. Follow Mike's instructions for cooking the ravioli for perfect taste and consistency.

Olive Crush is hands down the best store for special olive oils. I have tried a variety of their oil for cooking like making chicken and fish, and friends would always notice the special touch - the oil! I go to the one in San Carlos and the owner is the nicest man I've ever met! Please support this neighborhood store. (I just went today!)

I love this place. Always such a welcoming and friendly place. My go to place for oils, vinegars and pasta. The crispy corn snacks are my guilty pleasure! So addicting. Definitely recommend!

Super-impressed by the selection of great olive oils, balsalmic vinegars, and salts. Mike was really patient with me as I sampled a lot of different things, and put together a few fun 'salad dressing' mixtures for me to try. There's no bread or crackers or anything so you'll be tasting the oils straight-up. I'll definitely be back, either for myself or to pick up a few bottles as gifts. I came away with EVOO, sesame oil, tangerine balsalmic, and salish.

Honestly this place is the best. The owner is amazing and super helpful. You can really tell he loves his shop and loves talking to people. There's a large assortment of olive oils, balsamics and pastas. The quality of the olive oils and balsamics really make the difference if you like cooking. They go great on everything! My favorites are the pomegranate and fig balsamic. The rosemary and basil olive oil. But there are so many to try, which makes cooking fun again.

Love this little store. I have been going there for years now, and whenever I have out of town visitors this is where they want to go. They pick up gifts to take home with them and to give to others; Idaho, Iowa, Central Valley, So Cal, Sac area. You get the idea. The owner is wonderful and so informative and always has time for questions and ideas. This is a "go to" place.

Next time, i'll try this location to buy some gourmet olive oils and vinegars...went to the Half Moon Bay location and no one there to assist or welcome you. I take that back...there were 2 people at the register but they never looked up and continued to carry on their personal conversation.

I love to go in here and get as much olive oil as I can afford - or more - my favorite is the Hojiblanca oil. Best oil for when you are going to eat it uncooked - over tri-color salad or bruscetta - just delicious - cannot be beaten. I buy the smaller bottles because I'm afraid it will oxidize - so I buy like 4 at a time - just delicious - and we always try a new oil and a new vinegar - we also tend to get the cherry balsamic for salad dressings - just love this store - the man that helped us last time was calm and collected though they were busy - and he was so helpful and knew exactly where everything was located. Love this store. Would travel far to get this oil, but only have to go 4 miles - yay!

Today I found Pescadero artichoke bread here -- available every weekend. Made my day! Half baked and ready to put in the oven. Picked up some oil while I was there too. I will be back for the bread for sure. Dangerous discovery. They also had sourdough and small sourdough rounds. I've gotten specialty items here before and always been pleased.

Wonderful olive oils and balsamic vinegars, the products here are of such high quality this is the only place we go for these things. Amazingly friendly owner who is extremely knowledgeable and simply a great person. An absolute gem in San Carlos!

I no longer live in the Bay area, but I love this shop and I try to stop by whenever I'm in the neighborhood, and I order online when that's not possible. They have fantastic balsamic vinegars and the olive oils I've tried have been fresh and delicious. Turn around time on emails is very quick and they seem to ship same day, so if you need something they can get it to you quickly. Highly recommended.
