Absolutely outstanding experience! From the moment the dishes hit the table, it was clear this place takes pride in both presentation and flavor. The food was incredibly fresh, beautifully plated, and packed with flavor — the seafood was top-tier, the rice perfectly seasoned, and the textures worked together flawlessly. Every bite felt thoughtful and high quality. What truly set this experience apart, though, was the service. Jay, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine passion for what he does made us feel welcomed and taken care of the entire time. You can tell he truly cares about his guests and the food he serves. If you’re looking for amazing food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service, this spot is a must-visit. Huge shoutout to Jay for an awesome experience — we’ll definitely be back! 👏🍣

As a foodie & sushi connoisseur I have to say that The One is definitely one of my new favorite dinner spots for casual, fresh bites! I had a variety of different menu items including the sashimi tower, surf and turf off of the teppanyaki grill, bang bang shrimp along with their house fried rice and everything was so yummy! The raw fish was super buttery & you could taste how fresh it was. The manager EJ was so attentive and recommended the best menu items as well my cocktail, the Lycheetini which was also a hit. Definitely coming back ASAP!

Google
When it comes to Asian cuisine, The One Sushi doesn’t just serve it — it celebrates it. Fresh sushi rolls that hit all the right textures, bold flavors straight from the kitchen, and cocktails that bring the whole experience together. Every plate, every pour, every detail crafted to perfection. The kind of meal that makes you slow down, smile, and sip a little longer — because this is what good taste looks like. When I say this was a legendary feast, believe me it was! Every item was well balanced and presented well. For those who stay up late and need something to eat - stop in since they are open until 10pm Sunday - Wednesday and open until 2am on Thursday - Saturday.

Wow what an incredible place! Absolutely delicious! The customer service was amazing! I was recommended this place from a close friend and it did not disappoint! Jay was the best! Such great recommendations from food to the drinks such great customer service! The place was so nice and fancy inside, the sushi was so amazing and fresh! Absolutely loved everything about this place, would definitely recommend to others!

Google
This is probably the best place in all of Atlanta. The service is amazing, and everyone is so friendly. The prices are amazing for the quality and freshness of the food. And they are so creative with everything they make. You cannot find anything like this anywhere else. I’ve never had one bad experience here, and have never been treated so well at a restaurant. They really go above and beyond!

Google
This was my first time here and I came with my friend. The environment was very cozy and our server was extremely friendly and attentive. Honestly I’ve been to a lot of different sushi spots in Atlanta, Dunwoody, Duluth, etc but this one got me takes the crown the quality of the fish cuts are out of this world. This to me is a hidden gem and as much as I would love to gatekeep this spot I told everyone I knew about this place. 10/10 I would 100% recommend!

Google
We ordered a full dinner spread for the first time in a while. Everything was very fresh and nicely prepared. Here is a picture of my Avocado Salad. The hand rolls we ordered were also good. Head nod to the noodles with beef. They were very good and long gone before I could get a picture.

Yelp
This is a to-go order experience, so I can't speak for actually sitting down, but the food was so good. They have a huge menu to choose from with a lot of the classics you expect, but also lots of fun specialty sushi rolls. The chicken karaage was so good, it was perfectly crispy and had a great flavor and the kewpie mayo with it was so tasty too. The tuna roll was great, it's a basic roll but you could tell that the tuna was high quality and fresh. Also tried a playboy roll which is one of their specialty rolls. That one might have been my favorite, the shrimp tempura and cream cheese were so yummy together and the spicy tuna on top added a nice little spice to the roll. I definitely suggest this spot for sushi and I will be going back to try some more rolls!

Lillian W.

Yelp
The food is always amazing and the service is so so great. I've been coming to this place for years and it never disappoints! It's a great place to come to with friends.

Yelp
I consider myself a sushi connoisseur and I decided to check this place out. Something to note, they're under new management so completely ignore their happy hour section on their website -- it's no longer there. Decent sushi. Didn't wanna rate it too low just because I didn't like the sushi I ordered but it was meh. The Playboy was my favorite but the Brookhaven roll was just ok to me. Not quite sure if I'd make my way back over here for it necessarily. I was mostly coming to the happy hour. Nice ambiance and decent sized restaurant so good for small-medium groups!

Yelp
This place was no nice and welcoming! Staff is absolutely amazing, super friendly and so attentive, we even got some complimentary appetizers! We loved the food, sushi were so good, fish so fresh! Baked roll with cream cheese (forgot the name) was the best! Thank you for a great time, the one restaurant! We will be back!

Yelp
This is our second time going to the One since moving to Georgia a couple months ago and both times we have loved it. The workers at the restaurant go above and beyond to make the experience great. They are some of the friendliest servers I have ever had. The food is very tasty as well, and they have great daily deals. My boyfriend Daniel and I will definitely keep coming back.

Yelp
Very nice Japanese sushi restaurant with kind staff. The atmosphere is lively and perfect for dates or gatherings whatever the occasion. The fish is very fresh and cut day of and everything is perfect.

Yelp
This is a neighborhood sushi spot that is in a small and walkable area of Brookhaven. They are in a block of restaurants and shops and have free parking in the back and on the street. I sat at the bar and it took about 5 min for someone to come and talk to me but after that I was good. The wait staff were all pretty friendly. The men in the front making sushi were also pretty chill as well (that's because I sat right in front of them at that bar top lol). They have a full bar at the restaurant so if you are coming to drink, that should be fine. Oddly enough, the bar shares space with the sushi bar so they kind of have to work together in the same space. For a busy evening, that seems like that isn't efficient lol. Beef bulgogi ramen was good. It had mad flavor and I would order again. Fried squid legs were pretty good too. They had a pretty good sauce and they were huge. Not just regular calamari..but it was almost the whole bottom of the squid. Hibachi (chicken and shrimp with fried rice) had a good taste to them. It was not a lot though. Not sure what I expected but it was a smaller portion for sure. Double Decker roll was great. That's all I got lol. Calamari was okay, the squid legs were better. They were the flash fried out of the bag type (I am assuming) so nothing Earth shaking about them. Chicken karaage *see calamari review* Bang bang shrimp *see calamari review* I would actually go back here but I would not necessarily go back for all of the appetizers. I will go back probably for a sushi roll or two, but just regular fried food out of a bag didn't do anything for me.

Yelp
We love One Sushi! Staff are kind and attentive. The sushi is fresh and delicious. Great happy hour deals (5-7pm). They have a Bento Box for kids that gives a very generous helping and lets them taste a variety of foods. They even do cute dessert options for kids - orange slices shaped like rabbit and ice cream with crumbled Oreos and mint in a potted plant to look like a tree. This is a wonderful restaurant for Brookhaven families - win win for kids and adults!

Yelp
Full disclosure - this was delivery on Uber Eats (but a very quick 30 minutes from order to door as the place is close by): I'm quickly finding out I'm becoming incredibly disappointed with the sushi options in Atlanta. After living in Boston for 7 years, sushi was one of the one things that city got right - I was a regular at Cafe Sushi and always hit up the toro any time it was on the menu. They made the most amazing Chirashi don with house made pickles that wasn't a fancy dressed up reservation in NYC. And I've been chasing that sort of thing in Atlanta, and pretty much willing to spend about anything (occasionally) for it. Unfortunately with a toddler at home we're kinda stuck to delivery these days - something Cafe Sushi got right. So when I saw a chirashi and a toro flight on the menu, I was sold. However, instead of a fresh bite at the sea, instead I got obviously stale, mistrimmed on the blood line, one note low quality fish. I'm not asking for Tokyo quality here, but it was so nondescript a tear hang from my eye as I debated whether I'd actually finish the otoro or not, it was also topped some some sort of saucy diced scallion, which is almost always a tell tell sign on a high quality fish gone bad (unless you order the chefs special nigiri). Also, a sign of mishandled nigiri is when you lift up the fish and see no wasabi, no soy, taste nothing acidic with a slight vinegary punch of seasoned rice, and more importantly see collagen (pink liquid, not blood) as a faint layer over the rice, meaning the chutoro had been thawed either too fast or had been refrigerated and used the next day. The chirashi had no adornments - no nori or seasoning on the bland white rice, no pickles to offset the fish, and my wife immediately said it smelled "fishy" - not the word you want to describe high quality sushi. She only got through the tuna and salmon, everything else was just inedible. To be disappointed at a place where the COL is so much higher on food costs but to pay more than our Boston favorites, and to get this - just sucks. The best thing was the fried spring rolls. No, just no. 2 stars for at least having the options we wanted on the menu.

Yelp
Hubby was craving sushi for dinner, but it was too hot and humid to get out and about so we chose to have delivery. One Sushi Plus came up in the list of recommended options and we had never tried it before. We love getting surprised by new yummy food options. We spent a pretty penny but most were worth it because of the quality of ingredients and unique flavor combinations. I would skip the "side" items of miso soup, ginger house salad, and edamame. These were just ok, not very flavorful, and seemed like they came from a different kitchen compared to the sushi selections we made. The sushi was delicious and all tasted very fresh and had unique flavor combos. We sampled multiple rolls and a few appetizers. Asparagus fries were crispy even via delivery. The Spicy Tuna on the Rock was good but we suspect it would have been better if we had been eating in person (if we received it fresh from the kitchen). I was a bit disappointed that the yellowtail jalapeno shots offered and sold through the delivery app were not actually delivered as shots. The liquid part was not included, but the yellowtail and accoutrements on top still tasted good. We also had chirashi don (chef's choice of 12 slices of sashimi on a bed of seasoned sushi rice), chanel replica, picante, double decker, and avocado cucumber rolls. My favorite of these was the chanel replica and picante was hubby's. Everything came well packaged and looked pretty when we opened the containers. We'll keep One Sushi Plus on our list to visit in person!

Yelp
One of our favorite restaurants in our neighborhood. Food and service for me has been great. I normally get the hot meals while my friends usually eat sushi. Both types of meals have been consistently good. I had the Stone Pot Bibimbap and it was so good and a very large portion. I had leftovers for days lol

Yelp
Bottom Line: I would recommend. A bit pricey, but the food was great and service was quick. Atmosphere: Quiet, low-light ambience, dark theme. Very spacious Food: We got two appetizers The Bang Bang Shrimp was cooked very nicely. The batter was very crispy. I was expecting the sauce to be a bit tangier. Not as much flavor as I had hoped for. The Calamari Tempura was much better than one I had at a very high end Italian restaurant last week in Destin. Perfectly fried tempura batter with juicy squid and the lime-wasabi teriyaki sauce that came with it was delicious. We got three different entrees Two of my companions got the Double Decker(Shrimp tempura, cream cheese/crab meat, ebi shrimp/spicy Mayo, eel sauce, and tempura flakes) and the Playboy(Shrimp tempura, cream cheese/spicy tuna, avocado, red tobiko, tempura flakes/eel sauce). They were both essentially the same to me, but I liked the Playboy better because I wasn't a fan of the fibrous texture of the crab in the Double Decker. I typically love crab, but this time around it tasted kind of dry and tough. I got the Picante(Spicy yellowtail, cucumber, Salmon, avocado, yellowtail, and jalapeño ponzu sauce. This was by far my favorite. The fish was so tender and all of the ingredients along with the citrusy ponzu sauce and the kick from the jalapeño just tied together so well. It was absolutely delicious. Service: Our service was very quick. The only complaint that I had was I ordered a Miso Soup as an appetizer and our waitress forgot it, but she didn't forget to take it off the bill. This hurt the review as a good miso soup is one of the things I consider a staple at every sushi restaurant I visit, and I didn't get to try it last night. Nevertheless, she fixed the bill when I brought it up at the end of the meal. Overall: A bit pricey, but it was good. Great quality fish, great flavor, quick service, comfortable atmosphere. I'll be back.Bottom Line: I would recommend. Very pricey, but the food was great and service was quick. Atmosphere: Quiet, low-light ambience, dark theme. I'd recommend three rolls for every two people. This is considering appetizers as well. The price for the value isn't quite there. Otherwise, great quality fish, great flavor, quick service, comfortable atmosphere. I'll wouldn't make it a regular dining spot, but I'll be back.

Yelp
I'm writing a review solely on the experience of the manager EJ, literally SCREAMING to the top of her lungs at the staff. It was so inappropriate, and concerning. I literally can not believe she would feel comfortable treating her staff like that. It doesn't seem like she treats her staff well, and everytime I come back, it's always someone new working there. I confronted EJ about it and she just had all of these excuses about how the employee wasn't a good one. So fire her, and be on with it? What was the point of screaming at her in the dining room in front of customers? Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. It's important for me to patron places that treat their employees well, I really try my best. And this was really off-putting. I've never experienced anything like this in a restaurant before. I was sure to tip cash, because if the manager did that in the OPEN, who knows what she's doing behind the scenes. If it wasn't for my serve Jessica, I would have left. JESSICA was amazing and was a beaming light in that place. Thank you Jessica!

Yelp
My daughter and I went to try a new sushi place and it was over the top, the sushi was excellent, the staff made it even better! We will definitely be back soon! Thank you for an amazing night! We laughed, we ate, we laughed and had the BEST FOOD & Time!

Yelp
This was our second time eating at this restaurant and the sushi is by far the best we have tasted since moving to Atlanta over a year ago. Our favorite rolls are sex and the city and the double decker. The service is consistently amazing. And the treat that took our experience over the top was their newly added dessert menu! We tried the sweet Jane and fried tempura ice cream. Both were outstanding but the sweet Jane surprised me! Imagine the chocolate eclair and strawberry shortcake ice cream pops you enjoyed as a child being elevated with the enhancement of a green tea ice cream with its unexpected complimentary flavors. Trust me when I tell you this is a must try! I've never desired a dessert at a sushi joint, but I can't wait to come back for this!!

Yelp
Everything was excellent as ALWAYS. I drive almost an hour to get this sushi and it's worth the time and the money. We love to also order the salami fried rice which can be shared between 2-3 people depending on what else you order. Served fresh and piping hot. The first two pictures are from a previous visit that I forgot to post and the remaining pictures are from this week. If you are ever in the Brookhaven area stop by The One Sushi, you will not be disappointed

Yelp
Yelp Review - One Sushi, Sandy Springs 5 Stars Tucked away like a hidden gem in Sandy Springs, One Sushi delivers exactly what you want in a sushi spot -- fresh rolls, a chill vibe, and a server like Mahesh, who is basically the embodiment of calm hospitality. The place has a lowkey atmosphere that feels sleek without trying too hard. The food? Spot on. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and plated like someone actually cared. Even the appetizers were on point -- not just filler before the main event. Mahesh was next-level polite -- the kind of server who anticipates what you need without hovering. Subtle, efficient, and made the whole experience smooth from start to finish. You won't find dramatic flair here, just solid execution, excellent service, and food that speaks for itself. Highly recommend for a date night, dinner with friends, or if you just want sushi that doesn't disappoint. Ask for Mahesh -- he's the real MVP.

Yelp
I found this nice and cozy Japanese restaurant in Brookhaven and tried. I did right choice! For appetizer, I ordered fried squid, grilled salmon with sauce. So good! Then I ordered Bluefin tuna flight nigiri which came with Otoro(very fatty tuna) Chutoro(middle fatty) Akami(red meat). The tuna was so fresh! Moreover, sushi rice and technique of nigiri was perfect! The chef is very skilled person! For dessert, I ordered green tea and vanilla ice cream parfait and the ice cream was very high quality you can't find at any ice cream shop or grocery store! I definitely recommend you to try this place and you'll be happy for sure!

Yelp
Delicious!! Everything was soooo good! We went when they first opened and it was quiet. Less than 20 people inside. Service was good as well. Our waiter helped me pick my cocktail. The lychee martini is a must try!

Yelp
I love a good restaurant with a good vibe and this is definitely that! Service, quality, prices, ambiance, quantity, SERVICE! 10/10 a must even if your not from the area it's worth the drive! Spun the wheel and won a free appetizer !

Yelp
I came here on a Tuesday night and had a great dinner! It wasn't busy at all, but there were about 4 other couples there. I got a seat by the window and my waiter, Michael, came immediately. He was so great and attentive. The Rage the Night cocktail was delicious and dangerous. Dangerous because you will not taste the liquor, so don't get too many of those. You will taste the pineapple and the jalapeño but it was a great blend. The pork belly bao buns were delicious and they were actually a good size. I didn't feel like it was too much or too little. My entree was the one volcano and it was pretty tasty. I would order it again. I know I'll be back to this restaurant for sushi and drinks!

Yelp
Casual atmosphere and not too loud for a business lunch. The sushi was fresh and they do have creative cocktail options.

Lloyd L.

Yelp
Been one of our go-to's - u til they delivered KETCHUP as a sauce for spring rolls? What is this, McDonald's? Makes me call into question that whomever decided to do this has an influence on the rest of my food. This is beyond random to be insulting, especially at their price points.

Yelp
The restaurant is a hidden gem in Atlanta's Brookhaven area. The host and service staff was friendly, professional and attentive. The manager came by and checked on us as well. The spicy lobster miso soup and the jalapeño bites were delicious and hot. The Selfie roll and the other dish (forgot the name) with fried rice and a side salad was savory as well. I would highly recommend this place upon this visit

Daryl E.

Yelp
My wife and I had our first meal here last night and we will be back. The menu is half cooked items and half sushi. We ordered from the cooked side and will explore the sushi side later. Everything clicked for us. Food was really good (salad with ginger dressing was especially good) and so was the service. The outside tables are pleasant, and important to us, pet friendly. The inside looks very nice/cozy with good bar area and tables. Two additional things pleased us: 1) wine bottles are half price Mon/Tues/Wed--three nights each week. 2) they are not afraid of TV's. We like that as we're sports fans. Somehow they aren't intrusive and do not make the restaurant feel sports bar-ish. The outside deck was showing a baseball playoff game (sound off). Inside, they have several TV's. Will be a great place for us this Fall.

Yelp
It is not often that I go to sushi in Atlanta with so many other options, but lately, it seems like the choice of the folks I am with. We found this place on Yelp. and used the checkin for a free bottle of hot sake. followed by fall off the bone ribs and pan-fried dumplings. dinner wS the two spicy rolls. and all was delicious with terrific service. Nice little place with outside and inside seating and, of course, a sushi bar.

Yelp
My friend and I really enjoyed this sushi place! Ever pleasantly surprised. We came here in the middle of the week and didn't expect much for the reviews. It's really great and I'm so glad that this is one of the places I've been to where the food matches What I've seen online. They came in, I think the place had a great feel to it parking is free in the back and there is also a deck attached to it. We ordered the yellowtail jalapeño shots and I thought those were so delicious, really fresh in that pond zoo sauce with the jalapeño. It was so so good. I also got another role that I honestly can't remember the name of but it was delicious, it has scallops on the inside with tuna, yellowtail and another fish on top. Really good! My friend ended up getting in Entre that I believe was certified, but I didn't get a picture of it, she said that the food was really good! Add it to the fact that you get a free hot sake when you do a yelp check in, the manager came around to everyone's table and allowed us to spin a wheel, and we got a free appetizer as well! That was really fun, and a great addition to our experience! I will definitely come back here again, and I'm looking forward to the next time

Yelp
Great sushi, friendly staff. I've been twice and was practically the only customer in the restaurant both times (near 5pm) on weeknights. There is no beer on tap but its not exactly a place you go to get beer. They serve mixed drinks primarily but also have canned beers domestic and foreign. Quite a variety of sushi including some that are not raw in addition to more traditional fare. There are also non sushi items on the menu like the beef bulgogi that I would recommend to anyone who isn't in the mood for sushi but does want a protein.

Miranda G.

Yelp
The food was very good. My favorite appetizer was the squid leg fries. I would go back to eat them again. The sushis were very unique and had many flavors. I really like the picante and the selfie sushis because they were the most unique. Also, special mention to the samurai because it was very delicious. All the fish was very fresh and tasted very good. The server was very nice and very attentive. The sushi restaurant looked very modern and had enough space for people to sit down and relax. I gave it 4/5 because there is another sushi place that I like more, but this one is a close second!

Yelp
Decided to take myself on a date and felt like sushi and hot sake. I'm here on a Saturday about 3:30 pm. The ambiance is nice, nice contemporary jazz playing. It's not busy right now. The restaurant is clean. The food is delicious. I ordered a Formosa sushi roll and the spicy miso soup. The food is great. My waitress is nice and the hostess was nice as well. Nice spot.

Eileen R.

Yelp
I went yesterday (3/19/25) Found out it was under new management. I called for a take out order. Nothing I wanted was on the menu (items I loved at the old "The One Sushi"). They offered to make "Bang Bang Shrimp" not on the menu....it was horrible. So much breading and no taste like the old menu. They made a Spider Roll also not on the menu and it was so soggy and no taste. Did not taste fresh. Then I tried the Premium Crab Puff. It was a fried puff with nothing hardly inside. I am SO DISAPPOINTED. I loved the old menu and place. It was fun to go there. I will not be going back. It is such a disappointment. And very expensive for poor quality. I wrote an email to the restaurant and told of my experience and have not heard back. The staff was nice and ambiance seems changed. Did not like the two menus.

Yelp
We popped into this place for a quick date night before we picked up our daughter from a play date. Kristen was very helpful in suggesting a roll based on what we likes. And the bartender was young but efficient. It's been a while since we've been here but will return soon.

It appears that they have completely revamped, not only their menu but the space, and it is fantastic. The selections were so plentiful and the taste was great. The portions are very generous. We were really pleased.

Yelp
https://www.theonesushiplus.com We made reservations for Mother's Day. We have never been here before and we're excited for all their sushi offerings. Dominique was our server and we were greeted at the door and quickly seated. For Mother's Day they were only offering the dinner menu and we ordered the wok seared edamame, and our first three rolls were the double Decker, the Chanel and the one volcano. Everything was fresh and tasted great the seasonings on the edamame was fantastic. Having the Parmesan cheese along with the sauce made it perfect. We then got the sashimi toro and a Garfield roll.. the toro was fresh and tasted so yummy, melted on your tongue. The Garfield was fried lightly and seasoned perfectly.. Kids, make sure you check in on Yelp at the beginning of your visit... we checked in at the end and realized we got a free hot sake... gulp, we had a couple cups to end our wonderful visit.

Yelp
Ive lived for 7 years easily within walking distance, and average five visits per year. Obviously new leadership; the menu was laminated with an industrial grade plastic and the font looked...cheap; the lighting made the place look and feel like a high school gym; minor changes have diminished the aesthetics and it didnt 'feel' at all like the same place. When $90 (with tip) gets a person two beers and 3-rolls, the environ should feel a bit more upscale. No service or food quality complaints.

Yelp
We ordered delivery from here last week. Menu offered a lot of options - we enjoy tuna and there was a good variety of rolls to choose from. The delivery was on time - food was fresh and very tasty! Will definitely be our new go to sushi spot!

Yelp
Everything was just meh. I left full, but unsatisfied. Let's start with the fact that I couldn't order a cocktail because the bar tender had left to go to Costco for supplies. (Mind you they open at 11:30 and it was only 3pm). The sushi list was not exciting and the actual dishes were also not so exciting. The edamame came out cold. Just not worth the trip.

Yelp
Mostly nice sushi and rolls. A bit expensive compared to my other alternatives. The store itself is a tad too dark to my taste.

Yelp
Excellent sushi, located in the heart of Brookhaven. We love all their appetizers including the bang bang shrimp and the fried calamari. And, all the sushi rolls we tried were delicious. Great spot in a cool location.

Yelp
Want fresh and delicious sushi? Look no further! One Sushi is the place where great sushi meets a solid decor and ambiance that will appease all your aesthetic needs. I visited One Sushi with a friend on Sunday around 5pm. We sat at the bar. We were the only people at the restaurant (upon our arrival). I ordered the Chanel Replica (pictured) and my friend ordered the Lady in Red. I absolutely enjoyed my sushi roll. The fresh tuna and fresh scallop with the sauces were absolutely delicious. I tried a piece of my friend's Lady in Red, and I must admit: it'll be the next roll I purchase when I visit One Sushi again. It was so fresh and all of the various eels came together quite nicely. They top it with a piece of jalapeño that really helps bring the heat to this amazing roll. You can't go bad here. One Sushi has become my new favorite sushi restaurant (near Buckhead). It's hard to find really fresh and good sushi these days. One Sushi knows how to do it and they do it at a top-tier gourmet level. Can't go wrong here!

Yelp
Food was fantastic! From the tuna nigiri to the edamame and then the speciality rolls - it was fresh, obviously made to order and just delicious. The ambiance is always fun on a Friday night for a date or girls night. The bar looked like it would be a great move for 2-3 people but we came with a party of 6 and the service was excellent at the tables. They were slightly backed up so I'd suggest making a reservation!

Yelp
I had food here for the first time. The squid leg fries that are supposed to be deep fried, were not. They were soggy. I have had many types of karaage, many times, at many Japanese restaurants. Soggy and the coating almost white, is not deep fried. They were supposed to be just legs, they were not. Not good. The miso soup had a burnt taste to it.

Yelp
I was literally about to leave a 2 star review until just now. To start off, my husband and I tried to order through Uber eats yesterday. FYI their prices on Uber are the same as the restaurant in person. We've been looking for toro and we really wanted to try the smoked toro from The One Sushi + ($30 for 5 sashimi piece). We placed our order, and 30 mins before breaking fast, the order was cancelled with no explanation. We quickly ordered food from Chin chin and it came just in time. Fast forward to today. We called our order in and went to pick it up. I got home, opened the bag, and *no toro*!!! The chirashi don was really good and plentiful. 15 pieces of beautiful fresh fish for only $35. I wish they had included more wasabi, but it was really good overall. Beautiful presentation, which is rare for a take out order. We ate, then I proceeded to call for a refund. They hung up on me once, then I was passed around to 4 different people (who each asked for my order details) before someone could tell me the refund wouldn't be possible; they said I could come in for the Toro. I was seriously so annoyed at this point. When my husband went, the manager apologized and they gave us a free roll, plus a complimentary tempura, along with the TOROOOO. And it was amazing. We really appreciated the gesture. Can't wait to go back and dine-in next time we can get a babysitter! seriously, try the smoked toro.

Yelp
Amazing service and food every time! I've been here about 3 times over the last month and every time has been phenomenal. The staff is also extremely attentive and friendly! And the cherry blossom decor is a beautiful touch. I cant recommend this place enough!
