The Orange Pub & Boutique Hotel Belgravia

Fantastic night, our servers were great, food was great. There was an assistant manager in a dark jacket who was incredibly rude to me and I watched him be pretty rude to a few others - I’m guessing he was stressed on a New Year’s Eve, it wasn’t ideal! Rest of the night was fantastic though.

We came here for Sunday lunch with friends from Canada. Loved the decor though there are people seated at the bar which meant some of the outside table guests were jostled by people walking by. The roasts were lovely and came really quickly. As there was a large group of us, we enjoyed the pear tart tartin. It would have been good if we had been given a serving slice to cut and serve it. There were only 3 boules of ice cream between 4 of us for a dessert for 4. Lovely food and atmosphere and definitely would come back.

Lovely lunch here, food was delicious and overall service was great… Unfortunately we were very disappointed, when we asked for tall and elegant wine glasses like other tables had (rather than the small goblet style ones we were provided), to be told our chosen wine ‘wasn’t expensive enough’ to warrant those glasses and that they were ‘very delicate’!? Very odd and quite insulting when you are 4 grown women out for a special birthday meal! Strange approach to customer service and it tarnished the visit a little which is a shame as means we won’t want to return or recommend

Wow, what a horrendous experience. I asked a waiter politely if they could please close the door to the balcony because we were all sitting in the draft in mid November weather and the guy screamed back at me: I need to serve food!! Super roof and totally uncalled for. I was there to celebrate my engagement which the team knew. In any case I told them that this behavior is not ok, issue was not the draft but the very aggressive and snappy response towards me and they brought the manager who said: sorry about that but we need to serve, again totally missing the point. Then to top it all up they sent the same guy to screamed at me to pick up our dessert order- how a place can have so little appreciation for guests and zero compassion is beyond me Unfortunately cannot recommend the place as service was horrendous . We had booked a private dining with minimum spend and the whole think to celebrate our engagement with our mothers and siblings in the close family and their aggressive behaviors and attitude really killed the positive vibes ! Well done team The Orange!

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had during in London. We were seated at a table upstairs for dinner, I ordered a gin martini. The waitress served me a shot of warm gin in a dirty glass. I thought she might have misunderstood my order so I reiterated it to her and asked to remake the drink. She took the drink back and returned with the exact same drink, a warm shot of gin. My seat faced the kitchen/bar area, and I could see the fake bartender and other servers mocking me for sending the drink back. It was embarrassing. If the bartender didn’t know how to make a martini, they should said so and I would have ordered a beer. I’m pretty low maintenance and would Never do something like this, but charging someone 16.5 pounds for a shot of warm gin is egregious, I felt the need to warn you all - DO NOT ORDER COCKTAILS FROM THE RESTAURANT

Yesterday I visited The Orange Pub for an early lunch. We were a group of four and seated upstairs. There was no where to hang coats and the dining room was cold. The menu on the website was different from the menu we were given when seated. A couple of the pizzas that were ordered were barely warm. Left underwhelmed and having spent a lot. Very disappointing.

Terrible experience unfortunately solely down to service which could be easily avoided with proper staff. |We went there to celebrate a very happy birthday occasion, engagement with our close family. Staff was horrendous, screaming at me when I kindly asked to close the door as we were in the draft. I get it that you job is stressful, but I genuinely asked nicely and I did no deserve to be screamed at for doing so|When we had told the manger he came with a massive attitude trying to explain to me that they need to serve food and hence the door was open, didn’t listen to me or even asked what the real issue was- ie that I we were screamed at. |Really unfortunate because we have always Ed love in Thomas Cubitt group pubs - been at many of them before -“but this one under current management is terrible and hence won’t come back there until the management is changed. And frankly can’t recommend it to anyone else.

We ate at the pub and had great gnocchi. Sitting upstairs was cozy and a nice atmosphere for dinner. We did not sample the cocktails but we did have a nice red wine off the list.
