Where to Find the Best Seafood Rolls in Charleston | Eater Carolinas

"We made the obligatory stop at The Ordinary for what feels like the king of lobster rolls: large hunks of lobster tossed with house-made mayo and celery, sprinkled with chives and piled on the restaurant's own rolls; you can also get it hot, dressed simply with butter and sea salt instead of mayo, but note that the lobster roll is only available on Tuesdays." - Robert Donovan

Google
I've been an Ordinary customer for years, after learning about it from the lady who does my facials. I am hooked. The product is effective and affordable. My skin has never looked better. The customer service at the SOHO location is great. Ismael always takes the time to explain the products. He is patient knowledgeable and very personable. The last time I took a friend to the shop, we both commented on how much we enjoyed his customer service. Great product, nice staff. You should go.

Had the pleasure of meeting Nicholle, the manager for Ordinary, during their pop-up today—she was absolutely incredible. Super knowledgeable, warm, and made the whole experience memorable. You can tell she genuinely cares about the brand and the people she interacts with. Left a meaningful impression on me, and I’m really looking forward to visiting this location again

My friends and I arrived at the store and wanted to pick up a few items we had seen online… But when I got there, it was all closed off and surrounded by a barrier. To be frank, I thought the store was shut down… The whole storefront was a closet space size itself and looked like a hazard seeing the poor employees stuffed in there. They had to physically come out to help us since we weren’t allowed to enter the space. I had a few questions but thankfully Lianne and Roselyn were very helpful and recommended me a nice Azelaic Acid. I’d recommend one of the other Deciem stores since they have displays available.

michelle is the sweetest ever and she was so helpful! we have been to this store 2 years in a row and both times she has had the answer to all of our questions, we plan to come back next summer :)

I love this tiny store in Soho! The products are amazing! The store sells only The Ordinary products, other Deciem's products are available in other locations in Manhattan. Love it!

Google
I was just trying to drop by to buy a few products recommended to me at another nearby store. When I arrived I didn’t realize this store had a two person limit. First off having a store that should drive foot traffic in the middle of SoHo is a big mistake. Second when I opened the door the employee working there today waved their finger in my face to tell me to wait. Was about to drop some money here, but now I’m very turned off by this brands choices.

I can't remember her name, but, she was the kindest person i ever met in new york. She understands my skin problem and gave a perfect solution. She also told me a story about Seattle where I would go for a travel, and a story that she has a Korean friend. If you are having skin issues, then visit and make solutions with her. Thank you.

Google
It was an interesting experience meeting The Ordinary's staff and she really knows the product's ingredients, are knowledgeable, and provide honest recommendations to customers. Although I forgot to ask for her name, the most amusing part was when she refused to sell me the product I wanted, advising that I shouldn't waste money on something I don't need 😅. Even after mentioning I couldn't find it in Canada, she suggested I say thank you for the compliment about my skin and left the tiny store with $0 purchase. If I were living in New York, I would definitely visit this store often to buy their products.

Yelp
I've been using their products for years at this point so it was nice to actually see a store front. Staff were helpful here and they had all their products in the store to try out. Love the simplicity and affordability of the products here.

Yelp
The line is too long for The Ordinary. I know it's a grand opening but line is so damn long that ur stretches a block away to the other end of the corner. This wait time is very slow and you have two security guards in suits monitoring and ushering people in and it is still slow. So much for exclusivity. The nice thing about the store that attracts people is the mountain pile of $100 dollar bills and fake $1 dollar bill I never seen in my life. It is also raining today so it's not that nice that the people have to wait that long in line. Some people have umbrellas though so that's good.

Yelp
I was so excited to see The Ordinary as I was strolling down the block. I use The Ordinary Glycolic Acid, HA, Caffeine Eye Serum !!! I loved the ethylated ascorbic acid but they don't make it anymore!!! Ismael was amazing! He introduced me to NIOD Line and the Vitamin C Serum. He educated me on how to incorporate the serum into my skincare routine. I also received a few in-store gifts !!! The whole team was very helpful and welcoming! I enjoyed my entire experience!!!

Yelp
Very inexpensive products. Their products are tailored to a younger crowd. Their hand lotion is good and I do like their hand lotions. This is a tiny store in NYC. Basically this store can only fit one customer and that is it. Yes it is that tiny. There is only one staff working in the store. I feel like this is more of store location for convenience than an actual store. They carry limited number of products. So if you are looking for a popular product that they carry than you have a high chance of finding it here.

Yelp
Lol. The store is not that small. Denise is probably comparing it to the mega Sephoras we have around town. They have a wide array of products and two members of staff working. Really helpful and not too over bearing. Nice to see this brand have a brick and mortar. The products are reasonably priced and there are samples available.

Yelp
Products tailored to all skin types FOR ALL AGES & priced right! Ladies be prepared to be amazed at how quickly these products can upgrade your skin care routine and give you the glow you deserve! A lot of products to minimize the signs of aging without breaking the bank! Exceptional product line, easy to use and understand in minimalist packaging and a surprising low price. You will not be disappointed!

Yelp
The worker was nice enough when helping me pick my foundation shades. Unfortunately though there weren't any more in my shade :/ the store is cute and trendy but a little small. Good natural light that makes it easy to see what colors work for you. I was pleasantly surprised to see it on my walk through SoHo.
