The Best 24-Hour Restaurants in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"An Eater Atlanta reader helped us pin this hot dog and hamburger joint on this list. Chicago’s Original Maxwell Street recently opened in Atlanta on Campbellton Road. The 24-hour eatery serves Polish street hot dogs, breaded pork chop sandwiches, chicken and steak tacos and burritos, and cheese fries. Ask for the Maxwell Style, which adds grilled onions and mustard to your order. There’s a drive-thru and delivery." - Henna Bakshi

Google
Food was very good taste like Chicago it was clean and they were also wearing gloves. Great prices would recommend to friends and family 10/10 •The burger was very good had the right amount of cheese and the bun was soft •The polish with onion and peppers was fresh much flavor savory and a kick of heat but the mustard cooled it down •The cheese steak fries man the cheese was hot the entire time I was eating. Steak was very good seasoned and cooked and fries were home made. Will be back very soon

Atlanta, We finally have a Maxwell Street! I moved from Chicago in 2014 and Maxwell street is one of the first stops when visiting home. The all beef polish sausage is delicious. They also have a full menu of other items and you can’t beat the quality of the sausage for this price. Now it is located on a dark ashy street, but I drive here at least twice a week at around midnight to grab a bite to eat and I never felt unsafe. Everyone should try this place, it is well worth the hour round trip to grab food.

Came for a late night fix. Didn't even realize Atlanta had gotten a Maxwell St location here. The polish sausage hit as usual. I got lucky & caught a fresh batch of fries and they were good; a bit salty. Prices are super affordable, which make it a great choice if you're buying for multiple people.

Great Fresh Chicago Street food here in the Atl.....Open 24 hours. No dine in, but walk-up and drive thru available. My one suggestion, installing a intercom system to order food in drive-thru improving wait times.🌭

Always open to trying new spots, passed it once line was wrapped around building so built my anticipation. Happen to be in area again and went and was a bit underwhelmed. No long line but the food was good for greasy hangover times, the simple touch of a hot pepper with each sandwich was a great addition though. My fries were like they set around for a min as they were mushy but the burgers were fine. Apple parking around and able to walk up to order as well, used to be checkers it seems so cheap easy greasy food it’s a win.

If you are from the Midwest as I am, you'll really appreciate this place. The boneless breaded pork chop is fire, if they don't over cook it. The Maxwell St polish is DELICIOUS with them grilled onions and peppers!! Oh by the way its super cheap. $6.50 for sandwiches and fries. Fries are good if you get them fresh. Customer service is always good! It's not in the best area but its worth it.

Google
I got a Vienna Dog and a Polish Sausage with grilled onions and green peppers and fries for both entree on 9/13/2025. The food is good it's delicious. Im really not a spicy food person but you got to bite a piece of the pepper after you try the dog or polish it's a flavor explosion. This is a Chicago staple I believe also. Pull up and support it's worth the trip.

The food is great for the price point and though the line took 35 minutes to get through (bc they just opened), I placed my food and got it in 3 minutes once I got to the front! I wish they had more toppings on the entrees is my only complaint. Would’ve loved relish on my polish and lettuce and tomatoes on my burger. But the flavor was there! I know some people are big on aesthetics and they’re not that lol, but it was still good. I only care about taste and temp! I got 3 sandwiches and 3 fries for $17!! 👍🏾

Yelp
I ordered my food through Uber Eats and the food is delicious. Very good price point and your dog and or polish sausage comes with fries not all places do this for real. The Vienna Dog and Polish sausage comes with grilled onions on top and they're green peppers on side. I really don't care for spicy stuff but you got to bite a piece of the pepper after you taste the dog or sausage it's a flavor explosion. On 9/13/2025 I ordered my food. This is a Chicago staple I believe pull up and support it's worth the trip.

Yelp
Not sure about the food yet but the staff doesn't understand directions so we will not be back. They got the order wrong and said we didn't say items that we said more than once.

Yelp
Although the food is good the customer service is little to be desired the guy at the walk up window showed any sign of my incorrect order as he turned around an to use his personal phone at work...I feel sorry for the owner he's actually a cool guy but bad customer service from his employees can definitely tank a great establishment.
