An urban winery and cellar bar with live shows and low-intervention pours made from premium grapes. Covered by local outlets and loved for intimate concerts, it’s a Strip District staple.

On 6/15/25 was at the Winery for a concert. Being disabled i look for certain things to make my experience better or, unlike some places, actually accessible. The owner has turned this spot into a real gem in the Strip! The bathrooms are plenty accessible in my wheelchair and they have a lift to take you downstairs to the concert stage. The stage area has wine barrels stamped with the wineries logo with some awesome backlighting, which makes for a spectacular backdrop. The sound was excellent and the employees were the same! I would definitely attend more events at this venue.

Went and saw a comedy show here the other weekend and it was pretty awesome. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was awesome. My friends and I had an amazing time. There was an incident with a rowdy patron and they handled it quickly, quietly, and respectfully with very little disruption to the show.

Pgh Winery is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine or catch a live show. There is a tasting room upstairs and a music venue downstairs. The wine is made in pittsburgh with grapes imported from Chile and california. They also have several local breweries and craft beer on tap. The music venue is one of my favorite places in the city to watch a band. It a spacious, has plenty of seating, two bars, and the sound is excellent. They also have food options available from DiAnoia's. This place is definitely worth a visit if you haven't been there yet.

Google
We visited the (Original) Pittsburg Winery for the first time to see Noah and Abby Gundersen in concert and can say it was extremely positive experience. The venue itself was small and intimate, appearing to hold around 300 guests. Acoustics were good despite a wedding reception going on in the venue upstairs. Bar staff was friendly and relatively unobtrusive during the show. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. In short, we’d consider making the three hour drive again to attend a concert.

Google
Outstanding venue with a variety of artists. Menu could use a boost. The food selections were not as advertised, but still tasty.

Google
My partner and I enjoyed the Flamenco show a couple of weeks ago. The venue's intimate and cozy atmosphere, combined with outstanding service, made for a memorable evening. Michael's wine recommendations at the bar were spot on, and Kelsey's ninja-like efficiency in serving our DiAnoia's treats and drinks was impressive. We also had the opportunity to tell Zack, the manager, in person how professional and accommodating the staff were. We look forward to returning again soon!

We had the opportunity to see the Pleaktunes Trio doing The Charlie Brown Christmas album. The facility itself is fantastic. I don’t think there is a bad seat in the house. We didn’t get the food because we had reservations at DiAnoia’s Eatery just down the street, but the various food options looked amazing. The only downside, my wife is not a huge wine or beer fan, and with no “Bar” there wasn’t an option for any sort of mixed drink. Would absolutely check out another event here and my first experience was great and this was my wife’s second visit and she enjoyed them both.

Google
Was at the bastard bearded Irishmen and buzz poets concert last night and kinda disappointed, didn't open the door till 6:30 due to late appearance by the opening act, it was 97° with heat index of 102° outside, they let us in the tasting room 10 minutes before opening the doors 😡 The biggest disappointment was the kitchen was closed... that was bad timing and people crowding on the "dance floor" made it impossible to see the stage mid Way when buzz poets was on, 3 people next to us got disgusted and left... there was a power surge Also that delayed the concert, but that isn't the venue's fault.. the November concert was way better!

Yelp
This is our second stop at the new winery. It only took 7 years to move over and have this one setup Tim the owner said to me. They have a great tasting room upstairs. Allows you to taste and enjoy the different wines that they offer. They also have a small stage for bands to perform upstairs. They have a cellar in the basement which we haven't checked out yet. That's where other bands at a larger magnitude can check out. They have a bar downstairs as well. The new place is great, a little unique on the table setup, but no complaints. It's a good place for fine wine. My favorite winery in the region. Tim and everyone is super nice here. They now offer food as well.

Yelp
This is a lovely venue. I was here for the first time for the Buffalo Rose concert and enjoyed the environment, the wine, and the music! They have food also (which I didn't try, having eaten in advance). Will definitely be back!

Yelp
The perfect, cozy spot for a glass of wine and music in the winter! I visited the tasting room on a Sunday evening and enjoyed the live music and atmosphere. There's plenty of seating to enjoy the music, or you can opt for a more quiet space in the back. The wine was delicious and easy to order from your phone. For food, a select menu of items from local Dianoia's is available to order. I definitely recommend checking out Pittsburgh Winery and an looking forward to my next visit!

Yelp
Such a great spot, the wine is amazing and the staff is so friendly and helpful. My favorite winery in the strip!

Yelp
This is my first time here, at my wife's request - we are here to see a good family friend perform, and were pleasantly surprised with the cozy, fun vibe here. Wines are made here in PGH from California juice, and are quite tasty. You can even buy bottles to take home if you want - we did! This is the fun type of small venue I always enjoyed in my younger days, so despite it being my first time here, it's got a nostalgic feel to it. Staff are super friendly, and definitely want folks to have a good time. Acoustics are just great for singer / guitar performances, and allow you to enjoy listening but also enjoy the people you're here with. Come on down, and give them a try!!!

Yelp
Great music venue. But, if you are going to call yourself a winery-have some good wine. Also-the pandemic is over. Would love if the servers would take our order. Just miss customer service. The food was really good-but, paper plates? Sustainability? We will be back, but I'm hoping it becomes more customer friendly as I loved the vibe and the music.

Yelp
Great venue to see a show. The wine is some of the best local wine I've had and the food is good too.
google avatar

Yelp
Love the ambience and food! The wine selection was really good too, merchandise, wine.

Yelp
Came here to see Red Beans and Rice play. Love the affordable cover charge and casual atmosphere. Friendly owners who want to showcase the best musicians in town.

Yelp
It is a truly magical place. The handmade wines awesome service and atmosphere. It is the perfect place for friends to gather and enjoy a hidden treasure.

Yelp
I visited Pittsburgh Winery for a Thursday songwriter event. Be sure to check out their website for special events as this was ticketed. Get there early to secure a seat and get a glass of wine. They do not do flights during events but bottles and glasses are available. I was pleased to learn the winery sources their grapes from California and South America, resulting in surprisingly good and diverse wine. My group tried a variety of dry reds and really enjoyed each type. The menu leans towards dry wine but had sangria and plenty of non alcoholic drink options. The best part is the winery allows outside food but does have charcuterie available for purchase. I highly recommend getting pizza from Pizza Davide and visiting the winery for a music event or simply a relaxing evening with wine.

Yelp
Had a really great time with friends here on a Friday evening. The wine was good and we brought in snacks to share. The venue is cozy and perfect for an acoustic artist. We will be going back.

Yelp
Covid-19 Indoor Review: Eclectic interior with hipster vibes and interesting wall art. They didn't allow full tastings but we were able to try the rose and a few different reds to help us decide on buying a bottle and getting a couple glasses to drink while there. I love California wines and their reds were reminiscent of bold dry Cabs. I got a glass of the petit sirah which was very full bodied, dry with a dark fruit finish. Their rose had an interesting watermelon flavor which is very different from your typical rose. I would definitely come back for a full tasting and purchase a few bottles once they reopen fully!

Yelp
An unexpected gem in the Pittsburgh Strip District. Certainly not your "typical" Pennsylvania Winery. The winemakers at the Pittsburgh Winery have decided to make robust dry wines with grapes sourced from classic wine regions. The results are fantastic. Stop by for a glass, a bottle or join their wine club to allow the experience to continue year-round. I almost forgot to mention that this is also a great place for live music!! Cheers!

Amy B.

Yelp
I've been waiting for a place like this to open in PIttsburgh. The Cellar, located downstairs, is an amazing space to sit or dance and vibe to live music. The atmosphere, lighting and sound system are spot on. For those who are not into wine, they offer beer and other drinks too! The servers stayed on their toes and were pretty quick to bring drinks that are place through an app with a QR code assigned to you table. There is a limited menu during the show. That's the only thing I think they could expand on. I was really impressed with this place and we will be back soon!

Yelp
Super cute little place. They were hosting a party and there was a HUGE display of charcuterie boards. The wine was delicious, I had the Cab. We sat in the back in a small booth that was adorable and cozy. Super friendly workers. Will definitely have to return to throw my own party there with charcuterie boards.

Yelp
I always love me a good winery. According to Yelp, this seemed like THE winery to visit when in Pittsburgh. It was nice having this one in the city and not out in the country, like many are. There are only 7 wines, but for $10 you can try them all! There are a couple sweet ones, but more were on the drier side. All were delicious - we ended up buying a bottle of the merlot! It was interesting how most of them were California made wines, so not local but that didn't bother me. You can also purchase wine by the glass, and they also have beer too. The woman working in the shop was very friendly during our tasting and told us all about the city and wines. This winery is worth checking out if you find yourself in the Strip District!

Yelp
Check out the line up of music this month! Until they move into their new space, the intimacy you get here is sweet. Date night, girls/boys night out. Live music and good wines from California grapes made right here in Pittsburgh. The Cabernet Reserve is on pointe. Love the Chardonnay too. But all option from Rose to Cuvee, red to white available.

E. D. W.

Yelp
The extremely bitter Merlot wine especially at the initial price of $38.00 per small bottle it wasn't the price but the taste was undesirable and not enough warm foods on the menu of The original Pittsburgh winery.
google avatar

Yelp
Love this spot. Great place to hear live music, drink some yummy wine and hang with friends.

Yelp
Looking for a good winery on the Strip District? Well look no more. The Pittsburgh Winery is a your go to stop. They have an amazing selection of Reds, Whites and more. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about their wines. You don't need to be a member to drink there, but their wine club is a great deal. Plus, the first glass is always free for you and your guest.

Yelp
I've never done a wine tasting adventure before, and this was an incredible way to start my wine tasting endeavors. You might pass it as you are driving down the street that it's on because it's hidden, so slow down as your GPS is telling you that you are near. You walk in and bam! There's the bar and the bartender (winetender? not sure :) ). You are given the option to do two different styles of samplers. As you are trying the wines, you are described what kind of wine it is and how it gets its specific flavors. As you go through the wines, you are introduced to crackers and cheese that help enhance the flavors. After we finished the wine tasting, we decided to buy our favorite bottle that we had tried and went downstairs to this amazingly designed basement area (check out my pics of it! It's awesome). They have live music in the evenings every so often and there is a lot of space to stand or sit. We really wish we were staying a bit longer in Pittsburgh to attend one of their Jazz nice. Awesome winery with really tasty wine!

Yelp
I came to Pittsburgh Winery for the first time a year or two ago for a Yelp event and have wanted to return for some time. However, I finally had the push to return when I heard about the Joy Ike with Summit Station show. The show was fantastic, and I love that the basement level venue encourages you to focus on the artists and not outside distractions. The show was sold out but most of us were still able to find a place to sit down. The hubby and I originally selected a bottle of Malbec - which I had ordered previously and enjoyed during the Yelp event - but it was so, so strong that we were concerned that it had gone bad. He took the bottle back up to the bartender, who tried a sample and thought it tasted normal. However, the bartender was completely fine with our complaint and gave us the Cabernet Sauvignon instead. I really appreciated that he took our complaint seriously and was very accommodating. I need to keep checking out the list of shows here because I'd love to return to this special and intimate venue!

Yelp
Beautiful spot in the Strip District! Love the dark artwork and lighting. I stopped here for a glass of wine, their happy hour is 5-8 and includes $5 glasses of wine. I would love to come back for a tasting!
google avatar

Yelp
Pittsburgh Winery brings the best parts of California's tasting room experiences into an unlikely place: Pittsburgh. Fear not, trepidatious oenophiles; the grapes used in Pittsburgh Winery's bottles come from California's and South America's wine regions. The result is delicious-tasting wines that span from crisp whites to spicy reds. I went through the entire tasting during my recent visit and was impressed with the wines. We also checked out the cellar, which is a huge, gorgeous seating area with a big bar and a stage. I ended up taking a bottle of Malbec to go, and the label was a special edition collaboration with an artist. So cool! Looking forward to visiting again the next time I'm in Pittsburgh!

Yelp
This was my first ever wine-tasting, so by no means am I an expert on wine, but I do know that I like dry wines over sweeter ones. I loved my experience here! Me and a friend visited on a Saturday around 5PM. Not so busy when we arrived, so we had plenty of time to talk to Katie who helped us out with the wines. She was so hospitable and taught us quite a bit about Pittsburgh Winery's wines! Because we had no real idea what to expect, and didn't want to just try their white wines, we went ahead and did their $15 9 wine flight. Which was an awesome choice for indecisive people like us. Else, we wouldn't have found out their reds actually tasted very delicious. If you do end up buying a bottle, the wine tasting fee is waived. Great deal! We ended up buying a bottle of their 2015 White Blend and 2014 Merlot. I actually really liked the 2016 Sauvignon Blanc too because the notes of grapefruit and passion-fruit. The basement has a nice dim lighting and loud but not overbearing music. I'd also like to add that there is no need for a reservation here. They have a happy hour here, I believe starting at 6PM. I would love to visit again for their live music or an event!
google avatar

Yelp
Although this location is a temporary one while they renovate their permanent home a block away, really decorated comfortably in a great space where you can hang out and enjoy some wine or local Straub beer and bring your own food if you wish, to enjoy. Great happy hour also on Friday and Saturday evenings from 6 to 8 PM when most of their wines are only five dollars a glass. A huge plus is the wines they make are not local grapes but primarily from California.

Yelp
Pittsburgh Winery is a beautiful venue. First off, the winery is underground. It has a beautiful reddish aura inside. It feels like some small European winery. There are dozens of barrels (reportedly full of delicious wine) along the walls. There is a cute stage where one can do announcements. I came here for a Yelp Elite event. Hence, my review is going to be slightly biased because I got to sample delicious wine, fresh cheese, and surreal chocolate truffles. Now, for the wines. I'm not a wine connoisseur. I know that because I have still not warmed upto dry red wines. I stick to my whites and pinots. I tried their white blend, chardonnay, merlot, (another red), and the malbec. They are arranged according to their dryness and my likeability. Cheeses were from Emerald Valley Artisans, who are local. When asked how their cheeses were different from the ones in the supermarket, they said "we know the cows". Hilarious! Chocolates were from A519. They were the fanciest truffles I've had in my life. The outer surface was super glossy and smooth. They had soft creamy fillings. All in all, this was a fantastic experience. I'm definitely coming back here, just for the wines.
google avatar

Nicole K.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about Pittsburgh Winery. Most importantly, the wine is amazing. My personal favorites are their Malbec and newly-released Cabernet. Even varietals that I don't typically go for (I'm looking at you, Chardonnay) are fantastic here. My boyfriend claims he didn't like wine until he tried the wine at PGH winery. It's that life-changing. I've had 2 or 3 people echo his sentiments too, although not as enthusiastically. One comment from a self-proclaimed wine hater was "wow, this isn't bad at all!" Aside from the awesome product, the venue is super cool. It has a relaxed vibe, chill enough for a casual drink on a weekend, but is still nice enough that I had my company's holiday party there. They keep everything clean (restrooms included) and every staff member I have met is sociable and knowledgeable about the product. I haven't been for live music yet, but I've heard it is great from people whose opinions I value. I do wish they sold/served food (cheese plates or small snacks), but I think you can bring in your own snacks to enjoy, so that isn't really a problem. If you haven't made it to Pittsburgh Winery yet, definitely add it to your plans for this weekend!

Yelp
A great little venue that has a lot to offer! Entertainment combined with wine sampling and an out door seating option? Where can you wrong!?! This winery specializes in the drier spectrum of wine and really hits the nail on the head of that's your flavor. The venue hosts a grand downstairs option that allows for live entertainment and hosting events which is great! Dim lighting in the entire area. The outdoors offers small tables and chairs to sit and drink. Would recommend for any wine lover!
google avatar

Anony M.

Yelp
A very quaint little place in Pittsburgh however the GPS continues to say it's on the right side of the road and that's where the old one was the new one is on the left side. However they need better signage right now it is red at sidewalk level and should be white at the top of the windows for a better viewing and discovery. We were able to bring our own appetizers and have several splashes for tasting, bottles were available to purchase.
google avatar

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
Stopped by here and our server did a good job explaining the wines. We enjoyed our glasses at their outdoor tables. The red blend was my favorite.

Yelp
The Pittsburgh Winery is such an awesome place to hang out with friends! Wine, music, great atmosphere...what more could you ask for? When you enter the Pittsburgh Winery, you head down the stairs basically into the coolest basement ever. Wine barrels line the walls, gothic chandeliers hang from the ceiling, and there are plenty of high and low top tables to choose from and get comfy at. One of the best parts about the Pittsburgh Winery is that you're allowed to bring in outside food, so my friends and I love to bring our own crackers, cheeses, and veggies to enjoy with our wine. Once you stake out your table, head back to the bar to buy a bottle or two to share. The wine tends to be on the pricier side here, but it's all about the experience. They usually have at least one bottle that's under $20, which isn't a bad price to share with friends. Most recently we tried a white blend that included dry Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, and a couple other whites. It was fantastic, especially while enjoying music from a local band! The Pittsburgh Winery is so great. Not only do I love to try the different wines they make here, but I love enjoying the bands they bring into this venue. 5 stars for such a wonderful overall experience! I can't wait to come back soon!

Yelp
Amazing wine super smooth would recommend for any occasion. We got the Rosa, it was super smooth

Yelp
This place is a Pittsburgh gem! Walking through the entrance is really just like walking into a winery in Italy... It's cozy and beautiful. The entire place is really amazing as there are plenty of places to have a glass of wine and relax with friends. The guy behind the bar was super nice. He answered every wine question I threw at him and was very accommodating pouring us samples. He was also great with recommending wine and food pairings. My friends and I left with bottles of wine that we couldn't wait to get home and pop open. We can't wait to return and partake in some of the best wine in Pittsburgh!
google avatar

Jenny H.

Yelp
Such an awesome spot. The atmosphere is so great and relaxing with great lighting. The wine is delicious and you can bring your own food in. I've gone on multiple occasions to see different musical acts and they have all been enjoyable. A great date night out to have some wine and listen to music. They offer wine tasting upstairs and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Every time I find myself there I wonder why I don't go more often! I'd highly recommend!
google avatar

Karolyn A.

Yelp
I kind of love how this place is unpretentious and cozy, like hanging out in your cool uncle's den. I've wanted to check this place out for a while, and I recently got the chance. I stayed for a glass of Merlot and checked out the downstairs... It's funny, because the top floor makes the space feel small, but once you venture downstairs it opens up into that cool "lounge" space... Perfect for sharing a laid back conversation and a bottle of wine! I'm sure I'll be back when I need a vent session with my chill friends!
google avatar

Briana A.

Yelp
This place is awesome! It's a great spot to visit on a Saturday afternoon to sample some wine. A very relaxed and chill atmosphere. $10 wine tastings and that includes 6 wines. You can also buy wine by the glass or bottle and if you don't finish the bottle they will cork it so you can take the rest home. Great service, the bartender was awesome and very informative about all the wine. If you wanna splurge the reserve Cabernet is amazing and if you buy a bottle of it they waive one of your tasting fees. I def recommend Pittsburgh winery to all winos!
google avatar

Misti M.

Yelp
In the words of yelp!, "Whoohoo! As good as it gets!" I always love going to the winery! We made our way here during Open Streets one Saturday afternoon and have been back several times for shows. The bartenders were very friendly as we tasted wine on the entry floor. Since we hadn't been there, they encouraged us to walk downstairs to check out the scenery and made sure we had a listing of the upcoming shows. So the good wine, coupled with the friendly folks had us sold. I've seen several shows here and the great thing is, there really isn't a bad seat in the house. It all feels intimate and with the barrel seating in the back and around the sides it always is a good view to the stage. I definitely recommend getting takeout or bringing a small app platter from home to eat with your wine. With Gaucho just down the street it's so nice to have a little snack with the wine. I always suggest buying by the bottle - they will also re-cork for you to take home any extra. If you see Joy Ike listed as a performer, I would definitely suggest getting a ticket to that show!

Yelp
So thankful that we finally stopped in. I had sampled their wine before at yelp events and always wanted to visit. I decided that this is where I wanted to go on my birthday. The young lady helping us was very kind, personable and knew the wines. We sampled a few each. I tried Malbec, 2014 Cabernet & Red Blend. My boyfriend tried the Cabernet Reserve and another one that I'm unsure of. The Malbec was very good. It had a spice to it but it was still smooth. Red Blend was also good.. Basic but again very smooth. We each decided on a glass of 2014 Cabernet and headed downstairs to the basement. It felt so warm and inviting. We arrived about 40 minutes Before closing and only had a good 25 minutes downstairs. Next time ill be sure to allow more time. I didn't want to leave! It would also be cool to bring in food to enjoy your wine with also We plan on being regulars here. The experience was fun and the relaxation we felt in the basement was priceless.

Yelp
Tasty selection of wines amazing service the woman who helped us with our flight and wine choices was knowledgeable and nice! Very affordable and they waive a flight with a bottle purchase. My favorite was Sauvignon Blanc - I just wish the Chardonnay wasn't sold out because I would've loved to try that. My friend loved their Cabernet I'm not really a red person though.

Yelp
My wife and I had an amazing experience here. The owners were friendly, the wine was amazing, and the atmosphere was great. We did the tasting and tried 8 amazing wines. The owners brought out some cheese and meats for us to try and we engaged in a great conversation with them for almost 2 hours. I would highly recommend this place and would give it more than 5 stars if we could. Thank you for an awesome time!

Yelp
Excellent wines, great ambiance and wonderful employees! All grapes are from CA or Chile (dry wines) and then vinted and bottled here in Pittsburgh. A gem of Pittsburgh, one of my favorite spots!

Yelp
This has to be one of the best and well dressed wineries I've seen in a while. I was in awe of the art and really wanted to stay in town until their next show! Everyone was very helpful and the art scene associated with this place seems amazing! I wish I could borrow the owner and find an old building in Omaha to attempt to replicate what they've done here! So happy that we happened across this place and it made my view of Pittsburgh a hole lot brighter, full of potential! Cheers! If I was only a little closer!
google avatar

Cailyn B.

Yelp
I went to the Pittsburgh winery and had an amazing time. The wine flight was delicious and I bought a bottle of wine. The flight was complementary if you bought a bottle, amazing deal. We brought cheese and meats to eat with the wine and it was perfect. The bartender was very helpful and nice. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
this has become our place to "hang". we've been going for so long, we feel like family! we sorely miss rachel. she was the "face" everyone knew. but the guys have done an exceptional job of taking over her spot! there are several kinds of both red & white. they source their grapes from the exact areas they're interested in. comes in by train car loads! the rest is done right there, in the strip! they have a space in the 2900 block that is under construction. when it's finished, they will be able to make even more wine! plus, there will be other perks going in. you'd have to ask them, i don't know! for now, they are in the storefront 2 blocks down. as the guys are all musicians, there is music friday thru sunday. they get musicians from around pittsburgh in. it makes for a nice afternoon or early evening. they also have some beer for the "non wine" folk. &, they have a delicious board of meat & cheese for sale as well. something to nibble on while you relax with a glass of wine & some fine tunes. if that doesn't excite you, you can bring your own food in! they have a couple of memberships you can get as well. they give you a few extra perks, depending on which you go for, like a free glass of wine when you show up. or a free tasting for you & some friends. look into it. we're looking forward to seeing the new place! it should be fun!
google avatar

Michaela R.

Yelp
I've gone here a few times and done the wine flights on all occasions. I appreciate that they import their grapes instead of using local ones-- I personally think local is too sweet. I most recently went this past weekend and shared a couple of bottles with my friends. There is a nice downstairs area where you can sit and sip. The glasses and bottles were largely well priced (the most expensive bottle was $75). I do wish there was some small snack options offered beyond the water crackers that are offered with the flights. All in all, it's a great place to have nearby. I definitely would love to circle back when they have live music playing, too!

Yelp
Wondering around Pittsburgh as a tourist, my boyfriend and I stumbled upon the Pittsburgh Winery after looking for a cool, unique place to grab some drinks. Walking in, you immediately find yourself at a small bar area/room. There were a few couples standing around the bar with one bartender, but it did not click in my mind that this was the tasting area until the bartender signaled for us to take a spot at the bar. There was a paper menu with eight wines listed. The first six were a part of a standard tasting, and for an additional cost, you could sample the last two as well. The last two were their reserve wines. We opted to share a full tasting between the two of us and got to work. The wines made at Pittsburgh Winery are delicious. Everything is excellently prepared and presented, and the woman serving us was very informed as to how each wine was made and what tasting notes we should look for. We had a great time learning about each type of wine, going back to compare and contrast flavors, and experiencing the fine reserve wines. We ended up buying a bottle of their most exclusively produced 2013 Primitivo Reserve California Red. With all that wine, I eventually had to make my way downstairs to use the restroom, only to discover a large concert space with multiple tables and full bar. I really wish the wine tasting had taken place downstairs. By the end of our visit, the upstairs hallway/tasting room had a line and was very cramped. I think if we had walked in during the midafternoon rush with little room to enjoy ourselves, we would have turned around and missed an awesome experience.

Yelp
I tried the red blend and the petite Syrah. Both were good, especially as I wouldn't expect to find California wines in a Pittsburgh winery. I really love the tasting room here, in the basement and the wine maker was very approachable and educating. This place has nice vibe for a date or just catching up with your girlfriends. There's plenty of room for doing a larger group event too!
