Rainbow Cone, Chicago’s Nearly 100-Year-Old Ice Cream Parlor, Opens A New Location | Eater Chicago

"The first suburban outpost opened in Lombard as a partnership between the family that runs the original shop and the Buonavolanto family; the location features a drive-thru and a few new items such as doughnut holes while prominently displaying the shop’s motto, “life’s too short for just one flavor.” Management stresses that the signature five-layer ice cream will remain unchanged, and the new store is part of a deliberate, measured expansion strategy informed by successful pop-ups and truck sales in suburban locations." - Ashok Selvam

We just left the Lombard location. Great service and great ice cream. We had a strawberry sundae and a turtle sundae. The Mrs. forgot to ask for vanilla ice cream in her strawberry sundae(they used strawberry ice cream). They both were good. This location has become our summer ice cream spot this year.

Rainbow Cone in Lombard is a charming ice cream shop housed in a historic building that’s been serving joy for nearly 100 years. Their signature Original Rainbow Cone is a masterpiece—a perfect blend of flavors that’s both nostalgic and refreshingly unique. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for families and friends. On top of that, their homemade doughnuts are a must-try—soft, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The staff adds to the experience with their friendly service and welcoming smiles. A true gem that honors tradition while delighting every sweet tooth!

Google
2 rainbow cones 1 in a waffle cone (+$.99) equals 1 happy wife and baby. Instructions on how to eat were a bit unclear so just went to town mixing all 5 flavors. Was not disappointed.

Google
It was delicious, honestly best ice cream I had while in Illinois.

We were blown away by the hospitality and service of your manager, Romeo. We had a full team of basketball players come in to celebrate after winning a game. He had the biggest smile, welcomed us all, congratulated the girls on their win and provided top notch service. He truly radiated joy and made our night that much better. Ice cream was delicious, the aesthetic of the place was so cute and even though we were a big group our order came out so fast! Overall experience there was a 10/10! Highly recommend.

Stepping into The Original Rainbow Cone is like entering a vibrant kaleidoscope of colors and sweet aromas. The lively atmosphere immediately sets the stage for a delightful experience. On my recent visit, I indulged in the Chocolate Obsession. The Chocolate Obsession is a chocolate lover's dream, artfully assembled in a crisp waffle cone. Each bite offers a harmonious blend of rich, velvety chocolate ice cream intertwined with chunks of decadent chocolate pieces, creating a symphony of textures that dance on the palate. The creaminess of the ice cream pairs perfectly with the satisfying crunch of the chocolate bits, delivering a multi-layered experience that is both indulgent and refreshing. The ice cream's texture is impeccably smooth, melting effortlessly in the mouth, while the embedded chocolate chunks provide a delightful contrast, adding depth and complexity to each spoonful. The waffle cone, fresh and crunchy, complements the ensemble by adding a subtle sweetness and a satisfying crunch, enhancing the overall sensory experience. As I savored it, I couldn't help but appreciate the detail in crafting this dessert. The balance of flavors, the richness of the chocolate is pronounced yet not overwhelming, allowing each component to shine through. The experience is akin to enjoying a gourmet chocolate bar in ice cream form, with each element thoughtfully curated to create a cohesive and indulgent treat. The Original Rainbow Cone's Chocolate Obsession It's a must-try for anyone seeking a luxurious and satisfying chocolate experience.

We came here to try the rainbow cone and it didn’t disappoint. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The ice cream is nice and smooth. It’s now our favorite go-to place for ice cream.

Google
Went in on a Sunday night 8pm line was short. Ordered the vanilla chocolate cone and it was awesome! The pink building and whole vibe of this ice cream shop is good fun. Ice cream was tasty, creamy and serving sizes were generous.

Yelp
I just had to try the famous original rainbow cone while visiting. Since it was my first time, the person helping us told us a little about the history. I didn't realize rainbow cone has been around for nearly 100 years! The interior was bright and welcoming, and the tables and chairs were old fashioned soda fountain style. I enjoyed all the flavors of ice cream. Especially the orange, pistachio, and chocolate. The waffle cone ended up being stale, so I used a spoon to eat the ice cream, and threw the cone away. Next time I'm in town I think I'll try the mint chocolate in a wafer cone!

Yelp
My aunt and uncle never tried Rainbow Cone so I had to get it for them. They really enjoyed the ice cream and become huge fans instantly! Fast and friendly customer service at this location! Nice beautiful pink ambiance of the ice cream shop. Definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
We finally tried the Original Rainbow Cone! The restaurant is so fun and cute. It is pink outside and very colorful inside. The original Rainbow Cone includes the iconic five-flavor combo: Orange Sherbet, Pistachio, Palmer House, Strawberry, and Chocolate! It looks awesome and tastes great. The staff is very nice and service is fast. I try to come here every summer!

Yelp
I've always wanted to try The Original Rainbow Cone but the timing was never right. Finally on this past warmer than average weekend, we stumbled across a store in the suburbs. Me and my girls ordered the original cone, the chocolate obsession and the cosmic birthday. We got our cones pretty quickly considering how busy it was. Each one was great in their own way. I expect we will be back again when the weather warms up again.

Yelp
Congested to me at the entrance to order....the room was clean, bright. nice servers...the ice cream is very uniquely tasting...maybe the combo of flavors.....the brownie was OK....But my girl says she got just vanilla and that might be impacting the end result for her.....overall good but not wowzering experience this time

Yelp
Great dessert choice! We came here after dinner. The choices were simple and the helping was huge. 2 scoops of ice cream was too much. We shared it too and couldn't finish it. Nice place to hang outside on a nice night. It is freezing cold inside so we couldn't stay in if we wanted too. The service was fast. It was a young staff of high schoolers. They worked fast but wasn't too friendly. Will be back.

Yelp
Ranbow Cone is a great change from the large chain ice cream places as well as sit down ice cream locations attached to cafe restaurants. The original five flavor variety is tasty, with their pistachio probably the best version around. The ice cream cake is good-yellow cake with the five flavors-and they have a variety of sundaes and will craft to your request.

Yelp
Not sure what happened to the magic? I had enjoyed the first shake but my next time it was so thin. I did the survey on the receipt and Anthony responded and gave me a credit for a replacement. I got another thin shake when I returned (the donut sunk into the shake) I returned to show them how thin it was and they made another. This time there was a scoop of ice cream in the bottom that wasn't blended and the consistency of it was chunky, not smooth. I reached out again and was told he recently reviewed the process with the team here. He boasted that they make hundreds of shakes each week and get high marks. There are much better shakes out there and they certainly charge a premium for a below average shake. On a different previous visit, the five flavor cone landed on the floor when I gave it a lick. I'm done with this brand.

Yelp
Love this place! Great tasting ice cream. Fun staff and updated tables. It's always clean in here. There's a patio if you like that.

Yelp
I went to Rainbow cone for a sweet treat and it did not disappoint. I tried the birthday cake cone and it was MASSIVE and very delicious.

Yelp
Came here in April of 2025. Got a vanilla shake, no malt option available. darn. Came with 2 tiny donut holes and the vanilla was damn good. Place had alot of seating options and a drive thru. Was also open Easter Sunday night. Super friendly staff. Only downside was the music was a bit load, but not a game changer. A++++ Vanilla shake in my opinion. Will definitely return.

Yelp
Yummy! We love Rainbow Cone. My husband worked at the Original Rainbow Cone in Beverly as a teenager. This place is spacious inside with a few tables to sit at. It's a Nice place to visit with your kids. The service is pretty quick and they want to make sure that you are happy. LOTS of parking too in the parking lot.

Yelp
The ice cream was good and so was the service. We contemplated going back the next night too but got too busy. We will be back though!

Margaret D.

Yelp
My husband and I ordered two Original Rainbow waffle cones at around 9:30PM. After waiting for several minutes longer than normal, my husband looked at the order screen and noticed our order hadn't been entered into the system. I showed our Chase app to the young lady who helped us so that she could see that we paid. Errors can happen so please be careful with customers' orders. Also the floor is FILTHY.

Yelp
What happened to the full sized donuts they gave with the shake?? This isn't even a mini size my left toe is bigger than this.

Yelp
We walked in there and the place was so cute and it was great service. There was a server named Salwa was sooooooo nice! We wanted a half of a dozen mini donuts and we wanted 2 different ones but apparently we couldn't. So she made a batch just for us with 2 different types of flavors! She so nice and deserves a pay raise! All of them do!

Yelp
I love this place so much. It has adorable interior design with the white polka dots and pink background and all the other artwork. The service is always impeccable and friendly. The chocolate ice cream cake rolls were delicious and everyone at my party was pleased and asked for seconds. Also the rainbow cones in the waffle cone were delicious as always with all the different flavors. I always recommend this place to my family, friends, and coworkers.

Yelp
Purely based on the food, I appreciated their pistachio, vanilla, and strawberry in my rainbow cone. The orange sherbet and chocolate was not my cup of tea. The mini donuts, were like funnel cakes and right out of the fryer. Still drooling over them since it's kinda hard for me to get funnel cakes.
google avatar

Yelp
The ice cream was very creamy and had many different flavors. The service was amazing due to everyone being so nice and kind. The vibe was very bright and colorful for an ice cream shop.

Yelp
We had our princess first bird on at trip here It's was lovely Pink ice cream shop And from the inside looks like a toy house I loved the ice cream sandwich It wasn't too sweet as I don't like super sweet and the cookie was tasty as well in the sandwich Banana Nutella was too sweet for me though

Yelp
MEAL: Elevenses ORDER TYPE: Dine-in EST.: 2021 FIRST LOCATION: 1926 - Beverly, IL MY ORDER EXPERIENCE The first time I laid my eyes on the Original Rainbow Cone was when I saw it posted on Insta and from there on I always wanted to check this place. We went to the Lombard location. The outside looked like a Barbie house and my sister would have been excited about it lol. As I entered the parlor it was quiet, clean, bright with lights and unique decor with a cute interior. I felt like I was going inside a toy house. There was a huge sign board explaining each flavor on Original Rainbow Cone. I ordered 1 Small Rainbow Cone. The Rainbow had 7 colors but this Rainbow Cone had 5 delicious flavors. The Original Rainbow Cone is stacked with following flavors from Top to Down ORANGE SHERBET - Orange PISTACHIO - Light Green PALMER HOUSER (New York Vanilla with Cherries and Walnuts) - Yellow STRAWBERRY - Pink CHOCOLATE - Brown I did not change the order and had it the way as is. The ice cream was good, and your taste buds start spinning with different tastes by the end of the ice cream. I liked it, but it was not as great as the way it has been exaggerated. It was not a premium ice cream either and started to melt sooner. One can customize their ice cream based on the size and cone type. They also had Rainbow Cake Roll Slice. Sizes: Baby, Small and Large Cone Type: Sugar, Waffle To sum up, it was an enjoyable experience to have assorted flavors on a single cone. They had both indoor and patio seating available. Besides the Original Rainbow Cone they also had other ice cream flavors, sundaes, mini donuts, hand dipped shakes and beverages. They also have other locations, food trucks and kiosks. I would go back again for their Original Rainbow at a different location.

Yelp
What is it about THE original rainbow cone?! If you haven't tried it, you must have one for yourself. Now there are quite a few locations and I think more on the way, so it makes it easier to satisfy that craving for the multiple layers of flavors that just go perfectly together. Don't be afraid of the size, you can even get a small one! I myself like to share a large one in a Waffle cone... my fave! If there isn't a store near you, they have a ice cream truck that travels to different locales so be sure to keep an eye out!
google avatar

Yelp
Seems that my first time here was a fluke. Ended up giving this spot another try and did not leave disappointed. Did another small cone with one scoop of cookies 'n cream and another of cookie dough on a regular cone. Umm... nailed it. Scoop size was perfection, 10/10 placement, no lingering odd ball flavors, and taste was everything you'd expect for a cookies 'n cream & cookie dough. Nice creamy vanilla throughout and surprises of cookies and cookie dough. Yum! We did get adventurous on this second time around and shared an order of the banana nutella donuts. OMG. Freshly made donut bites topped with slices of bananas and a nutella drizzle. Might as well update the name to Original Rainbow Cone & Donuts. Delicious when switching back and forth between the creamy ice cream cone and sweet bites of donuts & bananas. Anyways, I'm glad I gave this one another opportunity. Truly a much better experience. Just FYI this location does have a drive thru, if you're just looking to quick grab and go. Inside seating area is quite the spot for photos if you decide to sit in. That's all I got on this one. 'Til next time, cheers!

Yelp
Ice cream is fantastic but service can be improved. I've now been here three times and all three times you see a whole bunch of staff standing around while no one is mending the cashier or only one person is creating an extremely long line ? Is this a business strategy to look busy ? No clue. But when you're standing in line with toddlers that want their ice cream badly and staff also standing around staring at you - that makes for an unhappy experience FoR mom !
google avatar

Yelp
If you have a sweet tooth, this place is your sugar Crack! After our excellent Thai food adventure down the street we decided we need to stop here. Very busy. Very popular. Staff is good peeps. Brother Dave and wife KT got the donuts w Nutella and bananas. Their son Rohan got a scoop of mint chic chip. Madison got their vanilla w a sugar cone served in a cup. Really tasty by the way..

Yelp
Today, we decided to try out this flamboyant ice cream shop. When you enter it's decorated in pink and white polka dots, brightly lit and has a fun/light atmosphere. There is plenty of tables for seating. They have a bunch of different ice cream flavors. There are ice cream cones or bowls that come with prearranged 5 flavors. They also offer ice cream cakes that look delicious as well. Some of the flavors were orange sherbet, pistachio, a dark cherry type flavor, etc. the ice cream was very creamy and the pistachio and cherry ice cream were delicious!! I just wish 5 scoop deal wasn't prearranged. I was under the impression you couldn't mix and match from the bigger list of available flavors. All of us loved the flavors, we just wish there was more options. Their sizes are big too! This place is a little expensive but worth trying and dropping in from time to time.

Yelp
I needed a pick-me-up yesterday and I'm glad I stopped by The Original Rainbow Cone for a sweet treat. Though, the good thing about their ice cream is that it's not too sweet yet very creamy. I ordered a double scoop of their salted caramel and black walnut. I recommend their black walnut if you'd like a bolder nuttier version of butter pecan. Their double scoop is on the pricier side at $6.29, but they give a generous serving. I like that their cones are kept in plastic holders to catch ice cream drips. It keeps your hands from getting sticky, and may be how they keep their place very clean. The Lombard location has a drive-thru, which is convenient, but I like going into their parlor for the cute interior. The inside looks like a retro Barbie diner with its pink polka dot walls, rainbow tiled floors, and gold disco ball above the seating area. The bright atmosphere is matched with friendly staff. I've always found their service good, even when they are busy. Aside from ice cream, they serve cake, cookies, and doughnuts. I was excited to try a half dozen of the banana Nutella mini donuts, but I was left disappointed. The doughnuts tasted fresh, but they could not mask the taste of the bitter sliced bananas. I don't know if it was a fluke and the bananas were only underripe for that day. I am still up for trying the mini donuts again whenever I'm there for their ice cream.

Yelp
We love Rainbow Cone. Now don't go asking me how chocolate, strawberry, Palmer House, pistachio, and orange sherbert taste good together, when they join forces, they just work. My finicky daughter was asking way too many questions before trying the original cone, almost finding a way out of tasting it. I'm like "shut up and eat it, its a ChiTown classic". One taste and she understood. They have other ice cream and donuts. It also must be noted that they have a drive thru, awesome! Yes, we have gone all the way to Lombard on hot summer days for a rainbow fix. This summer I was pleasantly surprised to see a Rainbow Cone food truck in my neck of the woods off of Randall Rd. The food truck was a great idea and I'll be eyeing it's whereabouts next summer.

Yelp
The renovation from Buena Beef into The Original Rainbow Cone was exciting to watch! I drive by this location twice daily and it was so cool to see this building transformed! It is adorable! I stopped in last week for the first time and had a great experience. Everything is spotless, new, super bright, and clean. I love the decor and the sitting area. The staff members were friendly and efficient. I placed my order at the counter and received a beautiful rainbow cone just minutes later. It really did look like the cone in the photos and the videos they play while you wait! I ordered the "small" which was about $4.50, and was the perfect size for me. I probably could have eaten a large, but I wasn't sure I'd like all the flavors. I did, even the chocolate and I'm not usually a fan of chocolate ice cream. So I might splurge on a large next time.

Jenny L.

Yelp
I come here daily right before closing. The ice cream here is very good, and worth the wait. The drive through is very convenient as well. Not to mention the service is always very good. Every time I go the service is phenomenal and prompt. Make sure to sign up for their emails as they always have deals going on. Last time I went I got a quart full price and a pint for free, Romeo was very attentive and courteous.

Yelp
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! First, if you were never lucky enough to go to the original rainbow cone in Beverly, now is your chance to go to the Lombard location! They have built a few more locations and they have mobile trucks in various locations all over the city and suburbs! You don't understand how much that makes me happy! I used to go to Beverly as a kid and now I can go to Lombard! You can get 3 various sizes, kid, small, and large. They offer regular cones and waffle cones. I have also bought the quarts to take home! Join the loyalty program! Get the large cone. Bring your camera and share with all your friends to take lots of cool photos. Order the largest rainbow cone ever. Enjoy the best ice cream in Chicago.

Yelp
New hot spot in Lombard. While driving down Roosevelt this place will instantly catch your attention. The bright pink building and outside sign of a ice cream cone will pop right out at you. FYI... The drive thru line is long but don't worry the line moves pretty fast. My first visit here and I loved it. The team was awesome. Quick service and the ice cream is worth waiting in line. I ordered the famous Palmer House on Orange sherbet, Pistachio, Strawberry and Chocolate on a cone. I wasn't to impress with the pistachio it through off the rest of the flavors to me. Cute bright seating dining area. There is even a small outside patio for you to enjoy your delicious treats. I look forward to coming back for more ice cream and mini donuts

Yelp
Such a cute building. We passed the Lombard location after a huge meal but I had to stop and get some because I have heard about Rainbow Cone for 30 years and never had one . So we turned around on Route 38 which is not any easy task. So glad we risked the traffic! We ordered a baby size dish of original flavor. Okay a baby size is like a mega size the serving was super generous. The flavor amazing. Orange pistachio chocolate and cherry with huge nuts and chunks of maraschino cherries. Yummy. Friendly server to! You have to stop by and see why they have been in business for 96 years!!!
google avatar

Yelp
The ice cream was okay. Girl at the window Kianna was very rude and disrespectful. Not worth price or poor service.
google avatar

Kali R.

Yelp
Best best best best ice cream ever. I was hesitant to try it because I'm pretty plain and boring with food, but my god... somehow the combination of each flavor together is magical. At least give it a try, I promise you won't regret it. It quickly became my favorite ice cream place and I can't see it moving from my #1 spot any time soon!
google avatar

R R.

Yelp
The mint city was good I took some of my sister brownie and mix it with my ice cream and it was amazing.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night (~9:30pm) and ordered inside the restaurant since drive-thru would have most likely taken longer. There was a line but we didn't have to wait long (maybe five minutes at most). After given our number, we waited an additional 10-15 minutes, which was expected. Saw two workers not wearing masks over their nose and saw one not wearing gloves when handling the ice cream. I got the baby size original rainbow cone and it tasted just as I imagined - good but not mind-blowingly good. My husband got the small and rated it a 3.5/5. I hear their donuts (which are mini size) are good so definitely will be back to try those.
google avatar

Stephen M.

Yelp
This truly ended up being the highlight of my evening meal. After a less than satisfying sandwich I liked the idea of getting some ice cream and remembered this was here. Being just a few miles from the mall made it a great choice. I like that they have a drive-thru and I was reminded that they also have donuts now. I have never been to any but the original location so I was happy to know they're in multiple places in the city now. I wasn't really sure what to get and the person taking the order recommended the original rainbow cone and I asked if I could get it in a cup. I got the original size and still felt that it was fairly small for what they charge. Eating it on the other hand was simply a great experience. As two of the flavors that come in a rainbow cone are not ones that I usually enjoy I was very happy that the whole thing still tasted as good as I remembered it. Somehow the flavors they use just go together so well. The stand itself is nice with both indoor and outdoor seating. Everything around the building is painted or decorated with rainbow items.
google avatar

Aysha A.

Yelp
This place is so cute inside and out! The pink building definitely draws you in and in my experience the staff were very friendly! Of course for my first time I ordered the original rainbow cone which was great but if I were to come back I'd ask for plain vanilla instead of the Palmer House flavor only because I'm not a huge fan of walnuts.
google avatar

Hannah F.

Yelp
I've been hearing about this ice cream shop all summer and finally decided to try it last week. I got a small rainbow cone, slightly dubious of how the flavors would fit together. The line was quite slow because scooping ice cream for a rainbow cone is much more laborious than scooping normal ice cream -- they do it one slab at a time with a tiny shovel scoop. It's also less bang for your buck when you compare a small single flavor to a small rainbow cone, and there was no ice cream inside the actual cone. The two flavors that stood out to me on the cone were pistachio and chocolate (especially as a combo), but again, I wish there was just more ice cream overall. Next time, I'd definitely try the single flavors such as blueberry pie or salted caramel (my friend enjoyed those very much). Also, parking is a bit tight at this location due to the drive thru line.

Jeffrey C.

Yelp
The food delivery to our table was very fast and so was the icecream. All the food was very filling. The only bad things are there are only certain flavors for the icecream slices and there were ice shards in the icecream. The ambiance was very nice and I liked the colors and different music types.
google avatar

Gina S.

Yelp
I'm kind of obsessed! I had a rainbow cone from their food truck and now I take every opportunity to go out of my way to one of the brick and mortars. I think the orange layer is my favorite, but they are all so good!
google avatar

Trina K.

Yelp
It's good and I'd return it someone wanted to go, but I would not say I like it better than Cold Stone, BR or DQ. But I tried it bc I was it was reportedly in fact better and there's almost a Portillos like long line. It was tasty but pricey and not something I'd wait in a wrapped around line for. But that's just me. I ordered the turtle sundae with hot caramel, fudge, nuts and 3 small donuts which are the plain ones ($7.49 before tax and tip) It's my understanding that the donuts could be placed underneath your ice cream or on top depending on who makes it and I opted to have them on the side because I didn't want them to be mushy but maybe that's what most people love about it when it's combined with the ice cream. The person who took my order was very nice and even asked if I had questions which I really appreciated.

Yelp
Rainbow Cone has branched out and reached the western burbs! I couldn't be more happy or excited as I've wanted to try a Original Rainbow Cone for some time (but usually don't find myself roaming around the ORIGINAL original). We've stopped in a few times and I've come to a conclusion: the actual Rainbow Cone is something you should tackle at least once but the other options on the menu are a bit more my speed. The Rainbow Cone just has a lot going on and a few of the flavors contrast each other wildly. It's almost as if the cone is fighting with itself for attention from your tastebuds. When I hit the strawberry slab I was reminded why that flavor is my favorite. The volume of ice cream is also something of a wonder on this cone. On subsequent visits I've resorted to my roots and kept it pedestrian with strawberry-only. And I couldn't be more pleased each time! Their strawberry flavor, in ice cream or milkshake, is delicious and easily stands on it's own. The Original Rainbow Cone offers such a delightful experience from beginning to end, from the blazing pink outside to the colorful and nostalgic inside, you can't help but feel like every kind who visits and is seen smiling ear to ear. If you've never been, visit and get yourself a Rainbow Cone. Then come back and try one of the other things the varied menu offers. I'd dare to say they simply can't make a bad tasting treat.

Yelp
The is the only other spot they have (so far) outside of the original location in the city. They just opened, so everything is new and sparkly clean. The shop is colorful, with cute decor. We initially came for the super convenient drive through, but decided to go in and order. There was already a line a little after opening, but it went fairly quick. We had to order their namesake- the original rainbow cone! Our LO's order was ready first. I got my order a couple of minutes later and my husband got his around five minutes after mine. They were handing out other orders in between. I wish they worked on all items in one ticket at the same time. Anyway, I did not know what to expect with all the stacked flavors. But as we were eating outside on a hot day, the flavors melted beautifully on top of each other and I truly enjoyed it. The individual flavors were good as well! I'm sure we'll be back.

Yelp
I enjoyed bringing my granddaughter to eat the ice-cream that I was eating back in the day when I was young. It is still the same delicious flavors although I believe the consistency of the ice cream was softer this time. As you eat your ice cream it Melts faster. The prizes are a bit too high but we had to come and try this new location. The original at Beverly is amazing. The one I. Lombard has its own parking lot and tables out side as well as indoors. At this new location they have doughnuts and ice cream cakes. I don't remember when I was young if they had all different flavors I only remember eating the rainbow cones. Delicious

Yelp
As original as it can be... glad they have a new spacious location in Lombard not too far from my work. I stopped by to pick our favorite icecream for the kids . Wish I had cooler since it's a long way to the city. The new location has drive thru, outside and inside seating, a ton of other goodies on the menu which I did not bother about. The service is good and efficient... I was out in less than 10 minutes. They have additional parking next door which is great since it's already pretty crowded. Will be back for more rainbow cones!!!

Yelp
So I have frequented this place a few times. I would say you get a lot for your money. There were cookies throughout my concrete even at the bottom. This was the first time I tried the donuts.. now this wasn't what I ordered but I'm not mad ... lol the donuts are yummy and old fashioned. Will definitely try again.
