The food is from Picasso's. $5 doggie menu. Heated patio for smokers. Beer and a shot special. Great bartenders. I love this place. It is my Go To especially when I have my dog. Opens at 3:00pm weekdays

Google
Intimate setting. Great music. Smoke free inside with a patio for smoking. Food and appetizer menu from restaurant next door. Friendly staff and pet friendly, even the menu.

Google
Dog friendly! They made our fur baby feel like family. Vibes are immaculate. Breakfast potatoes are the absolute best 👌. Amazing service. Just don't do coke in the bathroom

My friends & I met for brunch & ended up staying fir 6ix hours. TOR is always chill & laid back. Once I got it, my food was delicious & the biscuits were mos def homemade...buttery & flakey. I also had a cucumber club special...that will mos def be my drink for the summer...I had 5ive of them. TOR will always be my jam!

Google
Make sure you have a valid ID for them to check. Pet friendly, and even have a small doggie menu with meals and dessert. Patio areas in the front and the back. Unisex bathroom. The bartenders were friendly and the trifle I had was delicious. Seems like a very chill place to hang out. If you play PokémonGO there are multiple gyms and stops within range.

Google
Great little spot! Bartenders were attentive and very hospitable. They had a great selection of music and even an in house Frito man that comes in on Weiner Wednesdays 😂😂

Google
2nd visit. Sunday. Waited a bit longer than expected. It was a Sunday. Maybe an event was happening. Took forever to order drinks, food & check out. (Our served, she wasn't very nice. Look inconvenienced to help us...) wasn't like this on my 1st visit.

Google
This was not my vibe, and I was very careful not to let that affect the review or rating. The Other Room is in a great space. It's a dark, cozy room with a ton of character. It was obvious that there are regulars who knew each other, and there was trivia happening on the patio in back. At the risk of sounding old, the trendy pop music was too loud for the small space. In my opinion, everything about the bar screamed cozy conversation and linger, but it was a completely different atmosphere and clientele, but everyone else there obviously enjoyed it.

Yelp
I love visiting our friends in OKC and when here, stopping by for a drink is a must. It's a great dive bar. It's exactly what you'd expect. There is a huge outdoor area in the back for smokers and the most hilarious sign near the bathroom. Our bartender made a great espresso martini. Stop in this cute bar when visiting OKC.

Yelp
Went here the other evening with a girlfriend. I have been next door to Picasso's Cafe numerous times but never to this part of the location. Some of the food items are the same but they also offered other options. I had the pickle tickle. It was delicious. As part of their weekday happy hour, all appetizers were half. We split the fried goat cheese (which are a must!!) and the portobello fries. The service was great. We had a great experience overall.

Yelp
The other room is one of our favorite places to go with our dog. Extremely dog friendly and they even have dog options on the menu! Half price apps from the Picasso Cafe menu always! Great happy hour and great customer service. The place is a very chill vibe to just talk and hang with your friends.
google avatar

Yelp
Good vibes, good food, especially the half priced appetizers! Margaritas are $12 after tax, which is a little steep for a dive bar, and they are small. However a Rum and coke for $5 is pretty good, so choose drinks wisely. Heaters on the patio is a nice touch for cold nights. Came here with a handicap friend and it is not very accessible with small walkways and small bathroom. Overall a good experience!

Yelp
This cute little place is tucked away right next to Picasso. I must have passed it so many times unknowingly. The patio is enclosed and intimate. Fun board games are provided also. My friends and I ate while we laughed hysterically while playing games. The service was great also.

Yelp
This place was a complete surprise. We wanted some snack options and a place to hangout. We tried Picasso's and there was a 45 minute wait. We ventured over to The Other Room and to my surprise there was no more smokey smell and no sembalence of cigarettes either--it's clean air! How wonderful! The happy hour food was a great deal and the drinks options are adventurous. If looking for a bar vibe with big booths and and good food in the Paseo, look no further. March 2023

Yelp
This has become my go-to place for eats and drinks in my neighborhood. The vibe is casual and fun, and the appetizers are well worth it when you need a little something to go with your cocktail.

Yelp
First timer for The Other room. Exterior: You might miss if you you move to fast onward to Picasso Café! Interior: it's small and cozy which means it's small with emphasis!!!! Customer service: I was acknowledged immediately and once I found a free booth the waiter came quickly. Food: I was there for "Happy hour" the beer on tap was half price and the appetizers are half off all day! Food mostly vegan options! I tried something new...?!?! Vegan nachos.. good, fresh but not my thing. Interior: alittle dark and beat up! Did I say cozy! As I notice I'm repeating myself! Exterior: outside there is a nice patio, it's open and quieter if you need to converse. I enjoyed the drinks I'll pass on the menu but drinks a big thumbs up.

Yelp
Fun dive bar atmosphere on the inside with a patio out back. Love I can order food from Picasso and cater the atmosphere to what I'm feeling that night.

Yelp
The food here is always good. Normally the service is great too. Today we went on St. Patty's Day but it was still early so it wasn't too busy. I got the Oklahoma breakfast I think and a side of waffles. That waffle was so dang good and sweet without the syrup. The eggs were too wet for my looking. The bacon cooked almost too crispy but okay. The sausage links were good. The biscuits and gravy were great. The breakfast potatoes are so crispy and delicious. My best friend was is here from LA and loves the mushroom fries. Unfortunately since it was brunch they didn't offer them. We wanted a fancy coffee. My bestie wanted an espresso and the machine was out... of course.... ‍ not looking for freebies or anything but offer a suggestion or since it's now the 2nd item we couldn't get offer a complimentary regular coffee or something. Once more ppl showed up it was a little more difficult to get the servers attention to pay and leave. Lol I was so disappointed that the thing is don't do coke in the bathroom and when I went to see the restroom it was small and kind of dirty and so not "coke" do-able jkjk but still love them.

Yelp
I always feel bad writing one star reviews but unfortunately this place did not met the expectations we had. This place was recommend to us by a local, we're visiting from Tennessee & California. The location itself is nice, once we walked in it has a very welcoming and fun vibe like you'd definitely like to enjoy some drinks with friends. Well I definitely don't recommend getting their drinks. My friend got their Paloma cocktail and I got the Raspberry Sangria. Both absolutely awful. Awful. We took two sips and left the entire thing. I even told my waitress I did not like it at all (kindly btw) and she said it had "Champagne and Vodka" (her actual words - I wrote it down as soon as she said it) and I was beyond confused because that's not how the drink reads in the menu. I even asked her to remove the drink from the table and she just left it there. The food was okay - not the worse, and not the best. Overall, very unsatisfied with the drinks and also service towards most of our visit.

Yelp
Been coming here since I was in college and the vibe is perfect! The place has definitely gone through some changes but the place is still one of OKC hidden gems! They share a kitchen with Picasso on paseo and wow is their food delicious! I love that you can order half price apps ALL DAY at the other room! Their salmon and avocado spring rolls are delicious and will definitely be my go to when bringing friends here!

Yelp
The Other Room is a fantastic place to knock the Paseo dust off your boots in relative anonymity. It's got a dark dive bar vibe inside and an outside smoke friendly patio that is partially covered, well fanned in summer and well heated in winter. The beverage prices are very reasonable and the food options from adjacent Picasso cafe offer variety for almost any combination of palate/diet preference. Some of the great bartenders have hot hair, manly mustaches and super swag. Do note that before 8pm it's pretty much full service but after that the vibe goes a little more club-like and swaps to walk up counter service. 21 and up - always pet friendly.

Yelp
Cosmopolitan was decent. But the vibes can't be beat. The staff were a vibe. Had a great time overall.

Yelp
Food was excellent. Upscale, Nuevo American. Service was very good. Love the atmosphere. Very hippy and fun. Been there a few times. It is eorth the trip.

Yelp
This used to be my favorite spot to go to ever. The new guy that works there throws me off in a bad way. The music playing used to be good. Now it's just rap music with f this and f that and the N word every 5 seconds in a song. The vibes just aren't the same. When we received our food it was cold. Super disappointed. Will not be back.
google avatar

Dan B.

Yelp
Tried to do brunch at the Picasso cafe and they were slammed. So they told us to go here and it's the same food. We did brunch and man it was a great choice. Got the breakfast board which was awesome. Steak and eggs were great. Steak was tiny but it was 16 bucks. Classic Benedict was very good. Must come back.

Sam M.

Yelp
Absolutely one of my favorite spots in OKC. Fun atmosphere, great drinks and delicious food. Friendly service that doesn't rush you out the door, you can hang out and drink/eat all day
google avatar

Yelp
The food and drinks were phenomenal! They have half priced apps 24/7 and they are definitely worth it! The mojito we ordered was one of the best I've had in OKC. The music choice and mood of the building was superb, and the overall ambiance was perfect. The service was great as well!

Yelp
Really strange experience tonight. My friends and I are frequent patrons, we ended up stopping by on a Friday night and after closing time, an "alleged" off the clock employee, who recommended drinks to us before hand, started harassing us outside the bar. Prior to this, inside of the bar the said employees' friend had a bar towel in her hand and was smacking her friends bottom multiple times and it deflected on my friends head. When we asked them to stop they did and apologized. We then went outside to leave. We were keeping to ourselves when that said employee started a fight with us. We were waiting for an Uber, just in conversation when they suddenly came into our space multiple times with their male friends and started yelling in our faces, multiple times. We're so upset with this interaction. We've really enjoyed this bar but this interaction has disappointed us in the security and staff of the establishment. This was our favorite bar :(

Yelp
First of all took 10 minutes for us to see a sign of a worker. Second of all my friend order a mule and they only poured a fourth of a can of her drink. Which was meant to have real vodka in it. Third of all I asked what the happy hour was, it was beer. I asked what beer? And she said "American lager, Mexican lager, or IPA? UMM WHAT BEER IS THAT??? I think this place might be nice to regulars but sure weren't friendly to us. Go somewhere else. Oh also felt ignored the whole time after the horrible service.
google avatar

Yelp
Imagine a hole in the wall, but nice. It's connected to Picasso Cafe next door and share a menu. Many vegetarian and vegan friendly options, also with a pet-friendly section. They also have a monthly veggie dinner with optional wine pairing that I HIGHLY recommend. I ordered the fish and chips, which was very good - especially the fries. Drinks were hit or miss. Service could be better, but at one time there appeared to be only one person for the entire place. Though service was still a little slow after several others joined. Ambiance was nice, very dark with Christmas lights and lots of early aughts throwbacks. Overall recommend, especially for food allergies and restrictions

Yelp
torup trivia is the best and mike & sydney are the best hosts ever!! will be back every sunday!!
google avatar

Yelp
Mikey's trivia on Sunday is a hoot and a half! Bartenders are all sublime and the food never disappoints!

Yelp
Good service and cheap beers....think we must have been in happy hour. Will come back.
google avatar

Genevieve F.

Yelp
The venue is small and thin. When we went, it was hard to find a seat or a table. The drinks here are decent, strong, but not too strong. I ordered a Mule and I definitely enjoyed it. There is a sign over the doors to the bathroom that had a neon sign that says "PLEASE DON'T DO COKE IN THE BATHROOM." Lol. The music overhead was dance music but u have no clue where people would dance. I loved the blue fairy lights overhead. My friends said this place reminded her of an upscale dive bar. As the evening progressed, there was seating at both the bar and tables. There was a smoking section out back

Yelp
Great beer selection, friendly staff, clean place, and cool ancient Egyptian interior. Even though the ceiling is all torn up, it is still a cool spot. But for the love of God, could you please turn down the effen volume on the TV? There is more to life than just watching the stupid Sonics. Oops, sorry. I mean stupid Thunder. Really. TOR's TV is too loud. All else is good. Turn down the volume and I'll give you 5 stars.

Yelp
One of my favorite places for food and drinks. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty drinks. What more could you want in a local establishment.

Yelp
At brunch in TOR ur server/ bartender Bailey took such good care of me. She made me feel like a VIP, and she has such a great attitude. She's a keeper.

Yelp
LOVEEEEEEEDDDDDDDD it here. We didn't think we were going to stay and eat but since the wait time for Cafe Kacao that Sunday was over an hour long we found this hole in the wall and were more than pleasantly surprised. We started with some drinks. I got a double mimosa and my bf got some type of blonde beer. Both were very tasty. Next up we ordered their avocado toast. Wow! Wasn't expecting such elegance on a simple app! It was so tasty! Loved the picked onions. I ended up ordering their burrito which came wet style and had breakfast potatoes in it and it was incredible. It kept me full all day, too. My bf went with the eggs benny. Also very tasty and delicious. Our server was the coolest blonde young guy with hand tattoos etc and was so kind and so knowledgeable and FUN! I seriously cannot wait to visit again!!! Plus being from LA, that's bathroom sign is hilarious and should be all over CA. Thank you guys again!

Yelp
One of the best bars in OKC. Been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Staff is friendly and makes good cocktails. Beer and shot special is inexpensive. Love the vibe of this place.

Yelp
Not sure what it is about this place that makes the bartenders act like complete jerk-off's, bartender power trips are definitely embarrassing & not acceptable at such old age lol (specifically, the tall middle-aged tubby & dirty blonde/pink haired fellows). Other than warning the public of what to expect, I really hope management runs across this post & realizes how the staff is representing their business- its honestly growing worse than Good Times' previous reputation & even they improved their services. [As evidence that this trait is a pattern here, check out the lower rated reviews & see for yourself how lousy staff members act]. Besides that, the only features of this place are the mediocre patio & the food service they have from Picasso Cafe. Drinks are average, nothing you couldn't find anywhere else. Although, I would recommend the frozen drinks if already there. Biggest bummer about this place is that they prohibit smoking flower in the patio, boooooooo! It's 2021 guys, let's catch up with current regulations to bring in more business. For these reasons, I would rather recommend Good Times right down the street- their staff has improved, quality drinks & dope patio regulations! Hope to see major improvement from "the other room" /:

Yelp
My top 10 reasons to love TOR: 10. It is now smoke free. 9. Full menu from Picasso's until fairly late (midnight)? 8. Both midlife crisis men AND people from Edmond hate it. Win! 7. It's intimate enough for some great conversation. 6. There's a random DJ in the back sometimes. If there were ever a safe place to dance like an idiot after way too many vodka sodas on mom's night out, this is it. 5. There's always an after party or two that blooms from here. 4. The door person will not question your friend who should have went home three bars ago...slip the ID in her hand before you get to the door and you're good. 3. There's only one rule restricting bathroom activities and it is clearly posted. No confusion here, folks. 2. The prices are reasonable. 1. The drinks are strong. Let's not forget what bars are for.
google avatar

Thomas K.

Yelp
Went here a few times because they have a patio, but so does every other restaurant and bar for miles around. They serve food from Picasso's, but the staff seems confused or reluctant to serve food. Everything is delayed, so queso dip arrives completely congealed and cold. The staff get their hostile attitude directly from the owner. The tables and floors are sticky and crusty, but you don't pay dive bar prices--waaaaaaay overpriced. If I'm paying to go out with friends, I want to actually be able to enjoy myself. Anywhere else in the neighborhood has better drinks, food, service, and atmosphere.

Kye C.

Yelp
Try to come here weekly for trivia, the food is great and the people are better. Mikey is a fantastic host every week and both him and the environment are welcoming
google avatar

Tara W.

Yelp
50% off appetizers and pizzas ALL DAY EVERY DAY! To know that I can enjoy Picasso Cafe food anytime I want for half the price on a stellar back patio with great music... makes me smile.
google avatar

Kaylan L.

Yelp
Always like popping into this place for a drink from time to time. Bartenders are always nice & the drinks are good too.
google avatar

Katie C.

Yelp
Loved this place. Seriously half price apps all day and $6 pizzas. Service was very good. Our bartender was able to tend to our needs even though she had a fully seated bar and a couple tables outside to wait on. The atmosphere is probably my favorite about the place. The front patio is okay but you have to see passers-by. However, they make up for it with that back patio seating. Dang it is cool as some of these 70 degree days we are having this summer. The ambiance is nice and intimate with string lights and a privacy fence around it. Lots of greenery and real wood furniture. I'm obsessed with the basket of vintage games like Connect 4! Brings me back to my childhood! We got excited because we found out about Trivia Night, but were so disappointed when someone came out to say that it was cancelled. So we ordered some apps and drinks. Obs they offered Picasso Cafe food, so I KNEW I was going to love whatever I ordered. The jalapeño hush puppies were amazing. Just like my grandma makes them. And that app trio with the pita and red hummus was to die for. Glad I found this little Paseo nook!

Yelp
The Other Room (TOR) was a regular hangout after work for my coworkers until the remodel. The drinks are still great and the service is still good, but the crowd has changed. It also seems like they didn't measure when they bought those giant booths. It is now incredibly crowded. I felt claustrophobic, and I don't usually get bothered by small spaces. I miss the old TOR with plenty of room and your own individual section. There is only one space that can fit more than 6 people and it fills up quickly on busy nights. Their drinks and food are really good. I highly recommend their apple cider. It's made in house, and they are heavy handed with the Jameson. (You can always rely on the bar tender to give you a good pour.) The food is great too, coming over from the kitchen at the Paseo Grill. They have a patio out back, which is really nice, but there are no heaters.
google avatar

Hayley M.

Yelp
Slow staff, dirty, and rude. Go somewhere else. I am embarrassed for Oklahoma City. There are a lot of better options with nicer staff.
google avatar

Selisha T.

Yelp
You guys. YOU GUYS. I love this bar so much. When we were first thinking of moving from CA to OKC, we came for a visit and stumbled into The Other Room. It was like we never left home. Small bar, a little hipster-y but not so much that it's obnoxious. It's small, dark and my favorite sign in a bar ever (don't do coke in the bathroom). A surprising plus? The amazing food from the shared kitchen of Picasso Cafe. They have a lot of vegan options but who would care about that when you have a spicy fried chicken sandwich. Drinks are cheap but good, staff is friendly but doesn't try too hard and the music is on point. Love it here and always will.
google avatar

Dracyn T.

Yelp
trendy place to eat & drink. Staff is super friendly & helpful. They boxed my food up without me lifting a finger. There's all kinds of people here & that's what makes it unique. The soundtrack they play is GREAT. Not "oldies" but more so throwbacks.
google avatar

Rachael S.

Yelp
Chill watering hole for some day drinking. Good music, good vibes, good cocktails. Just stopped in for a drink during Sunday Funday.

Preston C.

Yelp
We were racially profiled at the door by the bouncer. We just moved to OKC and have never experienced this before. Very disappointing because this place is very close to home and we would've given them a ton of business in the future.
google avatar

Billy T.

Yelp
The Other room used to be one of my favorite bars in Okc. It was the perfect match between dark dive bar and amazing music. Their cozy, draped booths and 1 bathroom for everyone were just part of their quirky and different features. Then they blew it up. Valued ceilings, bright lights. They ruined my favorite bar . I will not be returning.

Jocelen R.

Yelp
First I wanna say the bartenders are absolutely amazing!! They are wonderful. However... the bouncer screamed and touched a woman while in the bar. Once confronted about touching her he yelled and called her a b*tch. I have never watched or experienced such an unprofessional interaction in my entire life. A gentleman next me mentioned how he would racially profile people in the past and he saw him act this way... Shame on you bouncer and shame on the bar for allowing this to happen. I will never return!! Stay far way!!!! So unfortunate.

El B.

Yelp
If you have a chance to make the Unicorn Brunch, do it! Great outdoor patio for Sunday brunches. Great music and the Benedict's are phenomenal. The Pulled Pork for me, friends with Lobster added to the original is awesomeness.
google avatar

Anna F.

Yelp
Good prices and good atmosphere. Only downside is it fills up quickly and can be hard to find a table. Really nice back patio for when the weather suffices. You can also order food prepared next door at Picasso's!
google avatar

Ezra B.

Yelp
Some people like it for its ambience. Some like it for its amazing and super dedicated staff. Some like it for its patio or for the food from next door. Most like it because their friends like it and they want to drink at a bar where they are going to run into like minded individuals on any given night. If you don't like TOR then we're probably not friends. I read a lot of the other reviews before I decided to write mine. I saw more than one that hated The Other Room but then praised the Hilo in an odd and unexpected twist. But the more I thought about it the more I realized, I'm not that surprised. I've never felt that comfortable walking into the Hilo. It seems to have a slightly older crowd of regulars, many of whom have clearly been drinking and hanging out together in the same room for 10 or 20 years. I didn't move to Oklahoma City until 2007 and didn't really go to bars until a few years after that. I guess I missed out on some of that. But when I walk into TOR I get a good feeling. I know people there. They know and like me. Yes it's a smoking bar and it's tiny so you're going to smell like smoke. But I smoke and so do most of my friends so I'm in good company. Yes there's only one bathroom. But I've met a lot of nice people and had some decent conversation waiting in line for that bathroom. And to the girl who had a problem with the lock ... Maybe you had a few too many and forgot how to work a door. I've never had a problem locking the door and I've frequented for years. On a side note, most of the time if I have to go really bad and can't wait forever I will just pop over to Picasso's and use their bathroom. It's the same people. So technically TOR has three bathrooms to choose from most of the time. The music is ... Whatever. I don't care so much about that I'm not there to dance. The only complaint I have is the heat in the warm months. I am a hot blooded guy and sometimes I'm alone in my temperature comfort zone. Most people seem to be pretty ok with the temp. Ok one more teeny tiny thing, I would love a tall can of cider like a strongbow or a crispen. The hornsbys baby bottle and the angry orchard elderflower don't really satiate my cider needs. I love absolutely everything else about this place though. If we're friends then I'll see you there. And if we're not then go f*** yourself. Love you TOR.
