I literally walked around twice trying to find it... ended up asking the reception There's just a small logo on the door, but once you step inside-total vibe. Chill music (not too loud), cozy atmosphere, and super friendly staff. Started us off with a welcome drink that tasted like an espresso martini. Also loved the scribbled quotes on the walls - funny and very on-brand. Habanera ($28) Tequila-based cocktail with a strong alcohol kick, balanced by sourness and a slight sweetness. Exactly my kind of drink. Zen Dust ($26) My friend ordered this Christmas special - creamy matcha vibes with a whiskey base. We got one free shot later in the night - Saturday night perks, I guess? Definitely a fun spot if you're into hidden bars with strong drinks and good vibes 😎

A sign-less door and a discreet switch are all it takes to enter this speakeasy, and once you’re in, it’s a whole vibe. Low lighting, scribbled walls, and even your name on the table set the tone immediately. The drinks are creative and fun, definitely not your usual cocktails but still well-balanced and genuinely tasty. The table snacks were surprisingly good too and paired well with the drinks. I’ve already been back since, and I’ll definitely be returning for more.

That one is my favorite ❤️ The staff are really welcoming and knowledgeable — they’re happy to guide you through their extensive drinks list! Genuine hospitality is evident. The Other Room is really a must when you go 🇸🇬 ☺️

The Other Room is an absolute gem for cocktail lovers. Tucked away behind an unmarked door at the Marriott, the speakeasy vibe adds an air of exclusivity and charm from the moment you step inside. The ambience is intimate, stylish, and perfectly suited for a relaxed yet elevated evening out. Their whisky sours are expertly balanced, smooth, and easily some of the best I’ve had anywhere. You can tell the bartenders here are passionate about their craft, with every drink prepared with precision and flair. Service was top-notch, attentive without being intrusive, and the staff were more than happy to share recommendations.

This bar is hidden behind a discreet door in Tangs Marriott hotel which was cool. We were treated with a complementary coffee martini when seated and it was good. The cocktails were interesting and each came with its own design and decoration . Overall a fun experience.

spent my birthday eve (and actual birthday, once the clock struck midnight!) at this wonderful location in Singapore! From the hostess to the bartenders, I had an amazing time and recommend this to anyone who likes a small intimate place with amazing drinks! Please note small and intimate is very serious, you may have to share space with others. But the vibe is very chill, and even if you have to share, I’m sure it would be an amazing time!

I love a speakeasy that's hidden in plain sight! We made a reservation, which I would highly suggest as it was pretty full upon opening time, and had to ring the bell to enter. We were greeted promptly and brought to a table with my reservation name. The drink menu is quite extensive and I would love to try more of their cocktails! I ordered an old fashioned- loved the branded ice cube, not much drink though- it seemed to only be a few sips and then $20+ out of the wallet quickly! I then opted for a glass of wine which really isn't their thing so only one to choose from by the glass. We did get a few apps- the hummus was so yummy and smooth. The satay was quite delicious especially the peanut sauce. Overall I absolutely love the vibe but found it quite pricey. I'll go again for a special occasion likely.

If you're mad that it was hard to find, please leave, you're not worthy. It just means it passes the first rule of speakeasy club. We expect nothing less in Singapore. Lah! When it looked like people were going in and out of the hotel's utility closet, even if I wasn't dressed up, I said let's absolutely go. We rang the buzzer and a handsome woman with pixie short hair greeted us and took our name and said to wait outside. The wait wasn't long, enough to pique our interest. She came out to get us and we entered a quidditch tent of a venue, much bigger and prettier than expected. Like peeling back layers of secrets, it was pleasant surprise after pleasant surprise. I could go on and on, but if you're reading this, I'd rather you experience it and be surprised yourself. Go if you adore speakeasies, presidential charm and decorated gin and tonics. Or if you want to see Asia's top 50. The menu is a work of art. Each libation with its own stunning illustration. We ordered an overpriced charcuterie style plate because it seemed appropriate. The vibe was very VIP bottle service area of nightclubs in the states, but with decadently better architecture and service. Good fun, very delicious, highly recommend. This Marriot is beautiful by the way. Can't wait to go back.

You can absolutely overlook this gem. It's located inside the Marriott and there is absolutely no signage, you also need to push the buzzer to be let in. Now that we've made it inside, yes please I was seated at a table with my name written on it in a great spot, which allowed for great people watching ‍ (don't judge, I like people watching). We tried several drinks and they all were very tasty. The menu gives the flavor profile and potency of each cocktail, which I absolutely appreciated. There is a minimum spend but super easy to meet with great company. If you can get a reservation, absolutely do it. Great spot, I'd return

Located inside of the hotel we were staying at, is this hidden gem that is call "the other room". We saw the signage outside which is shown they are voted one of asias 50 best bars, so of course we had to make sure we got in here. It's pretty much a speak easy in which you ring a buzzer to get inside. Once you ring it, someone will come to the door ask you your name and then say hold on. Then when you walk in you're blown away but this semi small but huge bar / drink selection place. They have your name written on the table as well as very cool sayings all around. They had great cocktails here and if you donate to their cause then you're also going to be rewarded either a free burger somewhere, a cocktail there on your next trip there or a free haircut for men! I thought this place was awesome and I am very happy to experience it.

Very cosy speakeasy that plays lovely prohibition era style music behind an unmarked door at a hotel lobby. Drinks are somewhat smallish but rather tasty. The complimentary slider (before 8:30pm) a welcome gift. Excellent service from staffs.

A concept bar that is well executed serving amazing cocktails. You'd never even know it was here but it's fun to see a "secret" speak easy type of place at the hotel you're staying at yet never even know it was there! The cocktails are very mild So you can easily enjoy two or four ;) but unique concoctions with beautiful presentation and balanced flavors. It's rsvp only and men must wear pants or you can't get in. The spot is smaller inside but with comfortable couches and a small food appetizers style menu.

One of the more convenient speakeasies in Singapore! I love that it's so cozy, though it can be a little loud when it gets crowded. Would definitely recommend you make a reservation (no matter the day). Fairly wide variety in drinks (on the menu) which were potent and tasty; would recommend their take on the gin and tonic. I like their little customization on the ice; I think it was a good touch. I would like to see more of what they could do off the menu the next time I'm back! Food is good; oysters were fresh, and I loved the steak sauce. Servers were attentive and friendly. Special shout out to Kai for being a rockstar!

I truly enjoyed my experience here. The bartenders really know how to find you the perfect drink. They start you off with an espresso shot and give you salami bites throughout your visit. Best if you can get reservations, but we got there really early and they were able to accommodate my group of three. My favorite drink of the night was Peachy Keen. Super sweet and tasty.

Awesome nondescript water hole inside the hotel. One of top 50 bars in Asia. Make sure to try "Cure for all ills." On the 2nd visit, i had the reversed gin and tonic which the bartender torched the oak to give the drink an oak fragrance to it.

So on Yelp it says that it was open. I went out of my way to go there and it was closed. Apparently it is closed on Mondays but that wasn't listed. Not sure if that's on Yelp or the bar. Also, don't expect clear signage or anything, it's literally a blank door with a bell.

Our last stop on on our fancy cocktail bar crawl, and probably the best of the lot. I never would've guessed this hidden, speakeasy like bar would be located right off the lobby of the Marriott on Orchard. What an awesome surprise! Cocktails were mostly good, atmosphere was excellent and the place was packed at 4AM. Despite not having reservations (that seems like a must here), we were able to get seating very quickly. Only two slight negatives: my reversed gin and tonic was so smoky that it completely overpowered the entire drink. The smoke was a cool gimmick, but the cocktail needs to still be drinkable and in this case it wasn't. And the quote objectifying women on the mirrored wall was a bit of a turnoff ("Men: No clothes, no drinks; Ladies" No clothes, free champagne"), especially for a bar going for such a classy, hipster vibe. Not super cool. Still, liked the place and will probably come back on my next visit to Sg.

The Other Room is a very cool newish bar in an unexpected place - off the lobby of a hotel and the Marriott Hotel at that. But they are doing some amazing work here with both infused liquors as well as barrel aged Cocktails, so it's definitely worth seeking out. Plus, if you ever needed a break from shopping on Orchard Road, this would be a great place although it is open only in the evenings. Anyway, upon arrival, I received a welcome espresso martini which was served in an eye drop bottle! Very cool although I opted not to use the tincture and went straight for the bottle . I tried one of their bottle aged cocktails - Boulvardier - which was really good, as the barrel aging helps smooth out the Campari just a bit. It was also served with a beer back, which made it doubly enjoyable. I also tried one of my usual drinks - a Vieux Carre, which was also executed very well. Overall, I loved the drinks, the concept and the excellent service here. And it's also great to see a new cocktail bar that isn't on Hong Kong or Amoy Street. There is a small food menu as well, which I didn't have a chance to try. But there will be a next time, and definitely looking forward to it.

One of my absolute favorite stops in Singapore. Service is great, drinks are great, and the atmosphere is incredibly fun. Only downside would be price - be prepared to spend $20-25 a drink. Oh, and the few food offerings they have are pretty awesome too.

This place is a hidden gem! Located behind a black door in the Marriott at Tang Plaza is this awesome little bar. The drinks were phenomenal! You are create with a coffee martini as a welcome drink. I had a raspberry sour type drink and then a delicious New York sour with smoke blown into it and a cute marshmallow garnish. I was hungry and got the sirloin as a snack. The entire staff was highly attentive as I also kept finishing my bowl of crackers and it was instantly refilled. I can't wait to come back!

Amazing decor, amazing staff, great menu. Music is a little too loud for a speakeasy, it's a speak-kinda-easy.
