"The Otheroom looks like a grungy dive bar grew up, got a haircut, and now has a stable enough job to afford to live on Abbot Kinney. This spot is great for beer drinking in groups (there’s no hard liquor here), with a space that stays mellow even when it fills up on weekends. The big open windows let in a ton of light that’s nice for day drinking, but at night things turn darker and more date-y" - Amy Clark

Loved it!, the environment is chill and nice tunes as well, draft prices were good and service was great at the bar

Just as The Room in NYCs SoHo area, dimly lit, often very chill spot to relax with an amazing and not overly expensive beer selection. Hang out by the couches by the bay windows or the VIP-esque loft towards the back. Seldom gets loud enough to discourage conversation.

The place is really nice! The service is good, not super crowded a lot of good beer and wine options.

This place was fine. I don't drink, so as long as there is a soda selection, I'm good. Although the soda selection was kinda hipster and not the norm. Everyone else seemed to enjoy the many beers and wine they had to offer. The decor is pretty plain and non assuming.

Cool spot. Good beer & wine selection. Dark inside, but with large windows to people watch on Abbot Kinney. Music is usually loud but not too loud to have a conversation. Fridays and Saturdays are your usual party/scene crowds. I recommend checking it out on a Sunday evening.

The margaritas at this place are really good! My girlfriend and I sat and talked for a while on the weekend and had a lot of fun. The only downside is the crowd on the weekend doesn't seem like our scene, but if you're into the whole beach party bar, this is a great place. The staff seemed fairly friendly, but the bouncer in particular was joking with us and being really nice the whole time. We'll have to come back again if we're in the area!

The atmosphere is good, the decor is a little too much "industrial" for my taste.. but to each is own! The only real down side of this bar is the cost of the beer/beverages. But it's also the only bar that doesn't smell like a tavern on Abbott Kinney Blvd.

Cool little spot. First time here and worth the revisit. Great beer selection and seating inside. The decor is legit. Looking forward to some warm spring and summer visits back to see how open the place gets with the doors and windows
