The Oven ATX

Shoddy music venue / storage garage that has a full service bar open past 2 AM until 5-6 AM on weekends. They use bottom shelf liquor and beer, but if you want to drink once the bars close and don't mind techno, it's better than nothing. Worst: Bathroom has a permanent musty pee smell, and the cheapest thinnest toilet paper. The bar uses tiny clear plastic cups. Mixed drinks aren't mixed well. Lots of open drug use. 18+ some nights. Lots of experimental music and DJs that mess up a lot. Lots of junk scattered around because it's also some kind of storage unit garage. Pros: 21+ most nights. Bar open all night, past other bars. Pool table. One of only two bars open all night in Austin. Friendly people when there are people, but usually they're not too busy because they are off the beaten path.

If you want to get hot boxed by toxic vape chemicals, this is the place for you. This is a very small and intimate space, and everyone and their dad is vaping around you. The air is very toxic. My friend and I lasted 5 minutes and we asked if we could leave the door open for the fresh air to enter the small music area, and they said to close it. This is a hazard to an individual's health!! Very disappointed with this venue and the management. Do not recommend attending to this destination.

Paid 45 to get into a subpar experience, one bathroom for the entire facility and for whom it may concern they serve alcohol after 2 am. Which I thought was illegal. Been to better less pricey clubs in D.C. and new york....not worth it.

Expensive cover fee. Claimed to have an open bar but then the bartender charger for drinks and had an attitude. Dj could've easily done better

Great spot to hear local djs and love the intimate Berlin style space. Very ambient with perfect lighting/visuals.
