As someone who has lived at The Overland since it first opened, it’s unfortunate to see the property deteriorate over time. Things are constantly breaking and take forever to get fixed—only to break again soon after.
Our terrace has no Wi-Fi, and the TVs barely work, offering only one channel and an Apple TV for AirPlay.
The hallways and shared spaces are absolutely filthy, as the cleaning staff seem to spend most of their time on their phones rather than maintaining the property. Parking is overpriced, yet people constantly sneak in and park wherever they want, with management unable to enforce or resolve the issue.
Overall, it’s disappointing to see what was once a great place fall into such poor condition. If you have the option to live elsewhere, I’d strongly recommend doing so.
