"The Owners Box in the Omni Hotel doesn’t mess around with its sports watching. There’s nary a wall in sight that doesn’t have a TV on it, so patrons can get all of the action no matter what direction they turn. There’s a lengthy list of beers on draft and a large eats menu as well. Check out the giant soft pretzel or the Red Neck burger with brisket, cheddar, bacon, and onion strings." - Alaena Hostetter

The Owner’s Box in Dallas is a fantastic place to catch a game, grab a drink, or just hang out with friends. The atmosphere is lively with tons of TVs, so you never miss any action. The food was surprisingly good for a sports bar—fresh, flavorful, and well-portioned. The drink menu had great options, and the service was friendly and fast. Whether you’re a sports fan or just looking for a fun place to eat and unwind, The Owner’s Box is a great choice!

We rolled in here for a quick lunch. I got their version of a “Philly”. It was great. You could really taste the beef flavor. The bell peppers almost tasted like they had been marinated previously. The service was great. If you are needing a quick lunch then this is the place. Now I will add in this bar they had a few of hard to find bourbons too. Eagle rare was on the shelf waiting for a quick taste ;)

Went here to grab a bite to eat at 3:00 in the afternoon. Sat at the bar. Took forever to even get a menu. Then, waited for so long to order that I was standing up to walk out when a bartender finally approached me. Wish I'd have just left. Got the $18 Chicken Tinga Tacos. They were terrible. I do not recommend this place at all.

Shout out to Ruth—the sweeeetest waitress in the whole place! If you’re at the bar, do yourself a favor: order anything and ask for Ruth. She’ll take great care of you with a big smile!

Looks like a sports bar but I think the manager does not agree. Incredible TV setup. Big screens all over. Many more other TVs. Even TVs above the urinals. It’s set-up for greatness. Bartender was great. Food was bar food - good not great. This is why I think it may not be a sports bar: Asked for sound, “We’d love to have the game sound”. Manager seemed to agree at that moment but would not put the game sound on. Too many families? I don’t know. Michigan vs Alabama on all TVs even though there are other bowl games on. Those great TVs above the urinals were tuned to CourtTV. No joke. Too bad. Had high hopes.

The service was great. The waitress suggested her favorite and popular items with little prompting. The bar looked spacious. They have wheelchair accessible tables. There was no wait to be seated. We did not get much of a refill until the end of our meal. There are plenty of tv’s showing various sporting events. Bathrooms were very clean and well stocked.

Google
This is a cool sports bar located in the Omni Hotel. Enjoy the views of the hotel as you walk through to go to The Owner's Box. I went late Saturday night. I ordered the BBQ bacon burger, fries, and a side salad; all were delicious. My gf ordered the shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos were so so and definitely not worth the price. We also ordered two drinks. The Texas drink which had pear and whiskey was delicious. The only thing I'd add is that it should be served colder than it was. My gf had the Pick Six; she had no complaints. The atmosphere and service were great. We would definitely go back.

Not much open at this time so came in to grab a quick bite after arriving. Our server Ndidi was very friendly and provided good recommendations. The humus came with lots of vegetable, maybe a little too much compared to the amount of hummus, the fried garbanzo beans mixed in was a nice touch. Chicken tinga tacos, though Americanized hit the spot. Burger was ok and we substituted the crowds for cob salad.

Yelp
Enjoyed a dinner of bar food and and beer pre game, stuck around for part of the Super Bowl, but ended up leaving a bit early. Staff was friendly, food was on par with standard bar food, burgers, wings, soft pretzels and cold beer. Can't give reviews for a standard night, but it sure did get crowded and a bit rowdy once the game started. Keeping in mind the hotel is also hosting a 5000 visitor conference...As a result the volume was turned up and the crowd got louder. The menu was a bit lacking with only a few items in each category. Though the BBQ bacon burger was great, pretzel was a little tough, but beer cheese delicious. Buffalo wings were good, but didn't need the jalapeños on top. All in all, it wants a sports bar, had fun, with a. Good atmosphere, but again, maybe a bit too crowded

Yelp
Smack dab in the center of the Omni hotel, it's a convenient spot for grabbing lunch/bites/drinks while watching sports or shooting a game of pool. We stopped in here a couple times for lunch and late night drinks. Didn't see any specialty cocktails but the bartenders will make whatever you want. They do some strong martinis and good amount of bourbon options. Seating involves bar stool seating, lounge seating, hightop seating, and table seating. Plenty of tvs around get your sports watching. As for food, it's typical greasy bar eats. I did the chicken sandwich which was alright with the fries. The wings are pretty good, the added jalapenos give a spicy touch to it. Also the kettle chips are a good snack for a quick munch. The loaded fries, I didn't really care for. The bacon, cheese, scallions, and green sauce don't add much flavor to it but if you've had plenty of booze, it'll be the best appetizer you've had. While there are better options, this is a decent spot if you don't feel like leaving the hotel and want something close.

Yelp
Eh mid but the vibes are cool. You can come if you live in Dallas. The staff is nice and. Helpful. 7/109

Yelp
I came to The Owners Box for lunch and had the BBQ Burger. Service was good and pretty quick but the burger was just okay. I came back Wednesday night and our server was Yasmin W. She was AMAZING and she had a fairly large section. She recommend drinks, check in often and was hospitable! We had a friend join us after we paid and Yasmin didn't mind at all which we appreciated. My friend had the burger again and I had the Texas fries and Buffalo wings. It was all good! They have large screens plying popular sports games so it was a great environment.

Terrance G.

Yelp
I used to come here often and the location and bar itself is amazing. so many flat screen large tvs with pool table plenty of bar space with full bar options to choose from as well as a great and attentive staff. The only issue now is while all of that is great the food was lacking alot. The chicken sandwich was dry and bland and the chicken wings were ok, but still could have used some flavor as well.

Jessica B.

Yelp
Came here a couple times for lunch & drinks when staying at the hotel. Ate the cheeseburger the one afternoon before heading to the pool as the pool bar wasn't open yet. Doesn't open till 3pm. Everytime I came was pretty busy. Good crowd. I did eventually get a spot at the bar each time though. Really enjoy the decor. Fun sports place. Tons of TVs which I loved.

Bryant G.

Yelp
The Owners Box atmosphere is superb. Came here for lunch during a trade show and Jennifer is hands down on the ball! She was funny, engaging and made my experience relaxing. The food was incredible for a sports bar. Thank you Owners Box for knowing the kind of staff you need to create a unique and electric environment! Will be back for sure. Joseph was also fantastic and we talked football! Go Carolina Predators! Thank you guys! One more person to shout out to, "Blessings" was a true blessing meeting him today. All around great atmosphere and people to connect with.

Noelle R.

Yelp
Service is bad. The buffalo shrimp was small and overcooked. There was a shift change while we were here and we were told that another server would be with us in 30 minutes. Really Omni? Not recommended as a location for locals. Maybe it's better as a hotel bar.

Harry B.

Yelp
Go for the drinks and maybe get some food. Only place open near amtrack in the great January freeze of 23. Ran over and got a burger Togo. Bartender was cool and Togo order was fast. Burger was just ok but good service and the place had a good vibe. Had a decent selection of whiskey and other spirits. If you are at the Omni and looking for a spot this will work!

Courtney O.

Yelp
Very good food, great atmosphere and reliable service. Try the Beyond Burger and Fries, and you will not be disappointed. Some days and times are busier than others, but the staff is always polite and helpful.

Keith F.

Yelp
Besides the over priced drinks this is by far the best place in the Metroplex to watch March Madness!!

Cleo M.

Yelp
I had the T.K.o. One sit and I knew the night would end in a total knock out. Very strong

Christina N.

Yelp
Nice sports bar but incredibly slow service. We started at the bar but no one came over to us and there were at least 3 people behind the bar. We decided to go ahead and get a table, sat there for about 10 minutes before someone noticed us. Besides being super slow, our server was nice. I ordered the cheeseburger with a side salad and my friend ordered the wings. Presentation was on point but sadly, the only thing that was amazing was my salad which came with some sliced strawberries and pecans. My burger was dry and so were the wings. Overall, it's a nice looking sports bar with nice looking food and it's super convenient if you're staying at the Omni or you are close by but service and taste falls short.

Stephanie V.

Yelp
The wait was ridiculous seeing that they weren't busy on a Monday night and I didn't care for their menu overall because they don't offer typical bar fare such as nachos, potato skins, pizza, etc. So I settled for a Club Sandwich and OMG WOW! TAlk about overkill. They knocked it out of the park with this dish. It's huge!

Rachel L.

Yelp
Great place to watch a game. Large tvs and lots of them to keep up with all the games playing at once. However, the food is nothing special. Most of the items you see in the pictures on yelp they no longer have : onion rings, flatbread pizza etc. they have burgers, wings, fries, and a few salads to choose from and that's it! Your typical bar food yet overpriced and not even that food. Our waitress was very good however service was slow. I think she had a lot of tables. Good place to hang out and watch a game and get a drink... that's about it.

Brendon C.

Yelp
Judy always takes care of me and remembers my orders to where I don't have to ask. Great service and always good with timing!!!! She amaZing!!!!!!

Jefferson J.

Yelp
Haven't been here in a minute, but the menu has totally changed, not many options to choose from, or a variety at all of typical sport foods. But what I did decide to get turn out pretty decent

Isaac S.

Yelp
This is a good place to go if you want some good quality wings, burger's, salads, etc. The service was excellent and we even got a complimentary dish from the chef. The waiter gave good service and couldn't be better!! They have pool tables if you want to play and other games. It's very nice to watch some sports and eat. This is one of the best places in downtown and I would really recommend it.

Bill B.

Yelp
Good food, good service and great ambience! Fun to go to before and after the baseball game.

Harry P.

Yelp
It's the Omni Hotel's Sports Bar near the Lobby. Very convenient for guests and a good late night spot for a weary traveler. I'm from California and this place was only restaurant open when I checked in at 9 pm. I got the BBQ Burger to-go and patty was very salty. It was like taking a bite of the Pacific Ocean. I swear I could feel the salt inflammation in joints immediately. To be fair, I think most places in Texas are super salty. So if you're used to/prefer salty Texas flavors, you won't mind how salty the burger patty is. The place was super busy because of Sunday Night Football, and the bar was packed with business travelers in their best "night on the town/vacation" look. A ton huge screens to watch the game and a lot of places to sit, mingle, get a drink or if you're like me, wait patiently for my to-go order while avoiding eye contact with any would-be social butterfly. Overall, fun place - the food is not for me.

Acuria B.

Yelp
Terrible service. I sat alone and my server walked past me FOUR times. I had to go to the hostess and ask her who my server was because it couldn't possibly be the man who kept walking past me to serve others. He served a party of three and four who were sat after me. Once he finally decided to serve me, He did not greet me he simply asked what I wanted to eat. Food was okay. He took forever to bring me my ticket. Hopefully he isn't always like this and was just having a bad day. Wouldn't return, but dine at your own risk.

Demetria C.

Yelp
What an amazing sports bar! I've been here several times during my stay at the Omni Hotel. If your into sports, you will love this bar. TV's are everywhere!!! The ambiance is amazing, as are the lemon martinis. . I couldn't stop drinking them. If your staying at the Omni and want to relax & watch the game, I highly recommend The Owners Box.

Joseph B.

Yelp
Inside Omni Resorts in Dallas, Texas. Ordered Barbeque sandwich with onion ring topping on Texas toast. Good barbeque. Fries were crisp. Waiter didn't offer ketchup for fries but then I was sitting at the bar. $14.00 was good price for hotel food.

Karen B.

Yelp
Great place to watch the game! TVs everywhere, but it gets crowded so come early for games. Upscale sports bar with pool tables in the back. The food is ok. I only had wings and they were fine but my friend didn't like the brisket sandwich. The brownie and Ice cream was good. (Food tastes like upscale Applebees without the 2 for $20 price)

Alexa F.

Yelp
Came here twice to watch two football games. Great atmosphere- can be loud and fun at times. Food is also good. Had chips and salsa/queso for appetizer. Ordered the half pound burger with fries and onion rings, all really good. Table also ordered wings, pulled pork pizza, grilled cheese. Really liked it all.

Sky T.

Yelp
This was my first time at The Owners Box. The wait was 30-40 minutes, and the food tasted good. I ordered the chicken sandwich and loaded fries. The only bad thing was that someone broke glass and it shattered everywhere. Also, I witnessed my server get assaulted by a rude customer. The server was great and friendly, not at fault. I'm not sure if I will return, just maybe a different day.

Mel C.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere to meet with a group after work. However a I'm a little less impressed by the service. I have been to Owner's box several time while in Dallas for business so I've come to appreciate how consistently good the food and drink is. But, on a few occasions I've found the servers I had to be unfriendly, curt and even a little inattentive. For instance, when we were in a group, one person asked for just ice water and it took over 15 minutes to get. In addition, as we were ordering, our server was starting to walk away from us mid-sentence, and we hadn't finished our order. Strange. It felt like he just didnt want to deal with us at all. A highlight for me was the stuffed avocados and hummus with vegetables. Both shareable plates and delicious, so 4 stars for the food and location at the Omni.

Dan A.

Yelp
Ok place to grab a bite if you are at the Omni Dallas. It's overpriced and underwhelming

Michelle R.

Yelp
The giant pretzel is amazing, soft, buttery, garlic, yum! It is a small menu, the wings were a little dry.. the drinks were very good. The waiter was amazing.

John M.

Yelp
I never had food this dry in my life, stay away, and the service is awful. I been here before, it was never this bad

Chris W.

Yelp
Food was average. Drinks were average. Service was below average. Multiple waitresses and hostess told us to sit at a table we had to order food. But there were multiple tables open and they were not busy. And we were ready to order drinks and decided to get a side of fries to get them to stop the broken record. I would recommend going anywhere else as this place has an attitude that would apply to an exclusive club not a hotel sports bar.

B I.

Yelp
Did a 10hr shift at the Convention center. Came here on my dinner break. Took 20 minutes to get service. Took 40 minutes for my togo order to arrive so that was my whole 1 hour break. I grab the paper bag with food and run back to work only to find a god awful chicken sandwich with soggy fries. I paid $20 after tax and tip for this cold, dry and old piece of chicken. They charged me $33 and $20 for man sandwich. I go back after work and talk to Hussein, the manager, and he says he won't do anything about it because I didn't eat it there. I ended up throwing the sandwich away. Worst service, don't recommend eating here.

Ashleigh L.

Yelp
We are here before a concert where we were able to meet some friends for dinner and drinks. First of all, parking is $12 for 0-4 hrs. I'm hoping they comp but I'm not certain they do. We ordered a beer and finished it before dinner and was never offered another beer. So water it is. We started with avocados stuffed with brisket, bacon and Cheddar with a ranch drizzle. Those were delish! We decided to split the redneck burger with fries. This is 1/2# burger with brisket cheese and fried onion strings. When we got it, they split it for us which was nice but I wasn't expecting 2 patties. The burger was mediocre. Not what I was expecting for $16. The fries were cold too. I was not impressed with our meal. The appetizer was good though so I'm conflicted on how to rate. I'm not sure I'd come back. Besides the fact that his place is on the Omni and they have big screens, there's not much too this place.

Lynne T.

Yelp
A colleague celebrated a birthday here. He could have selected any of 4 restaurants in the immediate area. TJ was our server. She delivered!!! LOL! With lunch recommendations, soup & sandwich specials, enormous smile, all were notably welcoming. The restaurant manager came over twice; once to introduce himself and again to check on our lunch. We informed TJ that we were on a short lunch. She rushed our order in to the kitchen and we were out timely. While waiting, TJ served our group a complimentary appetizer. Nice touch chef! We will return. Good food AND great service. Both matter equally! The brownie fudge sundae was yummy too! Serves 4-5 with ease.

Genevieve F.

Yelp
We arrived at 10:56 AM and we were advised that they don't open until 11:00 AM and had to wait outside. The Owner's Box is the Omni's sports bar and it's okay. In general, it's just a sports bar with pre-fab food. I ordered the onion rings and it's obvious (and I do mean obvious) that the food is not locally made. They did have a great presentation, with the onion rings piled up and pretty. My friends got salad and they seemed pleased with their food. Note: I came back in the evening and had a totally different experience. The evening staff is very attentive and nice.

Davidson D.

Yelp
Mediocre food, really poor service and an automatic 20% added to your bill. Doesn't add up!!!!

Ed G.

Yelp
We gotthere ar 4:30 on a Friday. We were seated in the second room away from the crowded, noisy bar. We had our usual great burgers. The food was fine. Unfortunately in that room a bocce(?) type game was being played. The players had been doing some drinking and one woman had a voice like a braying donkey. The couple at the next table and I jumped every time she opened her mouth. The couple complained and the manager asked then to keep it down. Of course the woman got all huffy and bellowed. Perhaps if the second room could be reserved for food service and the bar area for games it might help. This area needs a nice sit-down restaurant where you can talk to your table-mates. If you go for food make it a lunch or early afternoon if you prefer a quieter dining area.

Jessica O.

Yelp
I appreciate a sports bar connected to the hotel/convention hall. Nice patio. The food is simple bar food, nothing fancy. Nothing exciting, but it's decent, and they have Coke products, big pro.

Danny K.

Yelp
Thought it would be a great place to watch a game. The game was muted until 5 mins left. Paid for a shot that cost $20. Bartender said that's how much it cost, but my friend paid cheaper 30 mins before. Waitress didn't know her drinks so she kept being confused in her communication with the bartender. She brought me the wrong drink a few times. The bartender was using a drink menu the whole time. Got some work to do

Tanya D.

Yelp
Here is an update to my review!! Management genuinely cares about the establishment, and customers opinion. After my post I was contacted, gave them the details of what occurred, and a sincere apology was given. We were asked to come and try again, and we did!! Service this go around was excellent. Thank you Addison, Asha, and crew. Food was great too, and my margarita . 8/31/19 updated. Was excited to watch some sports and get some drinks, visiting from Cali, and ready for fun...but horrible serviceNo one even came to wait on us, even after we informed management that we had not been serviced. No water, dead energy. We decided, they didn't need nor want our business. Wish I could give Zero stars. We left and went to Texas Spice, thanks to Anthony for giving us great service, and Jessica.

Dan B.

Yelp
Second review and nothing but awesome things to say. This time Lorenzo took care of me and he was constantly making sure I was ok. The massive pretzel is awesome. If you like pretzels you are going to LOVE this one. Again the burger and fries were seasoned to perfection. I also was delivered a chicken salad "compliments of the chef". I'm not a big chicken salad guy, but it was really good.

Nella Y.

Yelp
This review is for Zeus. Mahalo (thank you) for your exceptional service. You're the only one that served me and gave me your attention. I've bartended for 13 years so someone like me that has a "few" beers is not a difficult task. Yet I was completely ignored by the female bartender numerous times. Poor thing. She must need a new life. But thank you. I am grateful for you.

Trina M.

Yelp
We came here for the Super Bowl and the service started off amazing with our server Charday.. She went over and beyond the call of duty. I was simply amazed at how she accommodated us. I even told her manager Jamie I believe that she was superb. I wanted to try the Cajun shrimp first and she went and got ya both a small sample. Did I say OUTSTANDING service. I went with Cajun shrimp nachos and my friend went with the Cajun shrimp tacos. Before she left she introduced the new server and reassured us that we would be well taking care of. We spent over $100 and tipped extremely well. Now the Con: Charday left at 5pm and Lauren started her shift and she was the total opposite of Charday. She was inpatient and easily frustrated when I requested a follow up on some condiments that I requested. She was in her feelings(it's the service industry, how are you upset and not willing to serve me)? Thus she never checked on us again. I had to get up and go to the bar and get more water and ask another server for a to-go box. We never saw her again. After bragging to the GM before he left for the day about how consistent service is, we get grumpy don't want to work Lauren. If you guys are looking for AMAZING service please request Charday. You won't be disappointed.

Trevor F.

Yelp
I've been in the restaurant business for about 7 years and this by far was one of my worst experiences. I was delighted to see a bar and grill close to my hotel in Dallas that had a small menu and a broad variety of choices. However the service changed my mind quickly. Upon arriving it was obvious our server had no interest in providing good service. There was an issue with an ID that led to him not giving anyone at their table drinks even though they provided identification. The food came before the drinks and we were pleasantly surprised. Pizza was good, bbq sandwich was as well. The server eventually came back and said he was getting a manager. He really just transferred his table to another server and gave up. Truly sad to see such a lack in care and work ethic from an employee that the manager totally allowed. I won't return and don't recommend this place to anyone ever.

Shakema C.

Yelp
My first time here. The ambiance was really nice. The food was delicious. This is located in the Omni hotel..which has 3 restaurants. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Service was not the greatest especially when there was no more than 6 people there. The food came out very quickly. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Oh they have a pool table if you are interested.

Tricia R.

Yelp
Although this is a great spot to watch a game, the food options are terrible. As a 'sports bar' in Texas, to not have something as basic as tortilla chips is ridiculous. The service has improved since the last time we were here (which honestly is pretty sad, all things considered). To have such a fun venue with so little options is disappointing.

Casey T.

Yelp
This is a hotel restaurant and has what I call typical mediocre hotel style food. The menu was boring and the food was just ok. The menus are disposable copies of paper and they had a ton of mistakes. Like some of the entrees said it comes with fries when it in fact doesn't come with fries. Some of the entrees didn't have a description and the waiter couldn't explain what it was. Asked him a question and his response "above my pay grade" and I heard him say that to the table next to us when they asked a question - gee how helpful. It's very expensive, but it's convenient to the Omni and convention center. The food here is a lot better than the food vendors in the convention center.

Micah A.

Yelp
Super expensive, but decent drinks. Food was pricey and every tab requires a food item, so not the spot for drinks only while watching the game. One chocolate chip cookie is $3, to give you some perspective. Margarita was $14, served in a cocktail glass. Just okay in my opinion.

Jessie F.

Yelp
The staff was very friendly and I was so glad they were open on Thanksgiving. I got the brisket nachos which were good but too greasy/heavy for my stomach. Husband got the bbq wings and they were pretty good. Definitely order them well done if you like crispier wings.
