The word "charm" doesn't seem to cut it when describing our town. Sure, it's got a lot of that. But Cayucos also has this uncanny ability to make all feel at home here. It's why we fell in love with it (although the surf didn't hurt). As locals ourselves, our goal with The Pacific is to help anyone staying here feel like they're part of our community. Whether they're visiting family for a long weekend, first timers discovering the town, or longtime Fourth of July enthusiasts, we've created this space for anyone who wants to connect with Cayucos. Our thoughtfully restored bungalows, rooms, and communal spaces feature local artists, coffee roasters, and winemakers, so that The Pacific becomes a space that not only invites people in, but invites them to learn more about who we are. As locals, we created this space for you as well. Come by for a coffee, an outdoor movie night, or just to say hey and swap stories about this property over the decades. We can't wait to meet you.
"On the central California coast, a block and a half from the ocean, a local couple chose not to build the Pacific Motel from scratch, but to restore a since-forgotten motor lodge — and to replace all its asphalt and gravel with beautiful palm trees and succulents. In your room you’ll find locally sourced artwork and bath products." - Mark Fedeli

"A few minutes’ drive from San Luis Obispo, Cayucos is a California beach town that remains accessible, affordable, and blissfully underdeveloped. It’s here, a block and a half from the ocean, that you’ll find the Pacific Motel, where a local couple — a contractor and interior designer in their professional lives — have turned an unremarkable motel into an unforgettable seaside boutique hotel." - Mark Fedeli
