Five Stars, Every Single Time Our family Christmas dinner at The Palm was exactly what we’ve come to expect, which is perfection. We enjoyed the branzino, crab cakes, oysters, calamari, mashed potatoes, lobster mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, creamed spinach, multiple cuts of steak, and a few salads. Every dish was cooked beautifully and full of flavor. No misses. Not even close. This has become our Christmas tradition, and for good reason. Beyond the food, The Palm always makes us feel like family. That kind of consistency, especially during the holidays, is rare and appreciated. We also took a slice of carrot cake to go, and let me tell you, that slice easily feeds two to three people. Rich, moist, and absolutely delicious. The perfect ending. If you’re looking for a place that delivers incredible food, warm service, and a true sense of tradition, The Palm at Tyson’s Corner never disappoints. We’ll be back next Christmas, and honestly, probably before then.

Mishka was a phenomenal server and recommended some truly delicious appetizers. We started with the crab cake and meatballs, both were absolutely delightful. For dinner, we ordered the 12 oz center-cut bacon mac and cheese with blackened shrimp. The steak melted in my mouth, and the cowboy butter was perfectly balanced, herbaceous with just a touch of spice, which complemented the steak beautifully. For dessert, we had the carrot cake and cheesecake, and my goodness,the carrot cake was outstanding. Although Jared wasn’t there, he made sure we received the best service possible. Overall, it was truly the perfect way to spend a birthday.

Food was good. I ordered the Palm Duo - filet and lobster. The first lobster was overcooked but they quickly brought another one that was perfectly cooked. The bread was fantastic. Garlic mashed potatoes and broccolini were excellent.

I was treated to this restaurant after visiting Tyson's Galleria. I opted for the 3-course lunch. We also ordered their version of the malasadas with 3 different "sauces" caramel, chocolate, and a berry sauce. A wonderful experience shared with family visiting DC. Plus: excellent customer service from our very attentive server!!

The good was very bland. And for the high price, you should expect much more! Service was good. The interior send a little dated; like you expect Russian monsters to pop out.

This is by far one of, if not the best, dinners I’ve ever had. The steak was cooked perfectly, the sides were spot on, and the wine and the old fashion were incredible. Dennis was an amazing server and was very attentive and had great recommendations. Jason was also so helpful. We had him last time we were here but he stopped by just to say hello and had the best energy. I can’t rave enough about how great this place is. Management was great as well. 10 stars!!

I work for Carahsoft and my CEO sent us to the Palm. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves so much. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was incredible. Our waiter was extremely kind and professional. Highly recommend!!!

The Palm always quality food so perhaps this night they were a little off. Went in for a nice holiday evening. With reservations was treated like there might not be room. After a brief delay hurriedly sat a a table with 4 place settings for two. The other two were removed about 30 mins after sitting around the same time we got out drinks from what appeared to be the bartender because he was not anyone we saw serving. Slow service, treated ok. Steaks were good not mouth watering. We were close to the bar so when the door opened we kept getting cigaret smoke. Felt like a great American at double the price w/out the service.

I had the osso buco. It was delicious! The meat was super tender and the sauce was amazing. The mashed potatoes paired well - I exchanged pasta for this. I also had the blood orange margarita, which was a bit strong for my liking. Overall, delicious meal and good time!

Our family celebrated my wife's 70th birthday tonight. Overall experience was an exceptional 5 stars. Food: All steaks, salad, drinks and a fantastic seafood tower.. Solid 5 stars. Service: Absolutely exceptional from the moment we stepped into the restaurant. Immediately acknowledged my wife's birthday. Incredible service continued throughout the dining experience.. Ending with hot coffee and wonderful desserts. Ambiance in a small private room for 8, will be memorable. Thanks to all at the Palm for a 5 star experience. FYI: If you haven't been to the Palm in a while.. Give it another try. The food, service and ambiance are back to the good old days. Thanks Again‼

I went to the Palm with my mom and sister. We ordered the lobster special, which featured an appetizer, 4 lbs of lobster, and dessert for 2. Overall this was a lot of food and a fun experience. They brought out bibs for the lobster and the dish itself was huge. The only thing is the service was really slow so we were at the restaurant for over 2 hours.

I think this restaurant is just being kept in business by the offices that surround it during the week. Gone are the days of the true Palm. Service was impeccable (5-stars) as always but the food was just so disappointing I don't think we'll ever come back. We went to celebrate my husband's birthday - the steaks were not seasoned and not cooked properly for a steakhouse. They even looked sad & colorless. The lobsters tasted frozen and boiled. Just not worth it anymore unless you're going for drinks. Super disappointing.

I was taken to the Palm for my birthday. It was our first time and we loved it! They handed me a birthday card when I walked in and we were seated shortly after. The atmosphere was classic and elegant, like "old money " (if that makes sense lol). The service was great. You can tell our waitress was busy but she made sure to stop in to check on us a few times. We didn't feel neglected or overwhelmed by her presence. She popped up the perfect amount of times. We didn't have to look for her and we didn't have to push her away lol. The food was great! Nothing we had was bad. I ordered the Bone-in ribeye with mashed potatoes and wild mushrooms. He had the lamb with tri-risotto and green beans with a side of creamed spinach. We had calamari and lobster bisque as starters. They also gave us a complimentary bread basket. It was really good! The pretzel was my fave The steak and lamb were cooked to perfection! The mashed potatoes were whipped and creamy and the mushrooms paired well with my steak. The risotto (which I don't usually like) was very tasty! The lobster bisque was velvety and flavorful, as well as the creamed spinach (it was some of the best I've ever had). My least favorite was the calamari HOWEVER, don't get me wrong, it was also good. I had the Paloma with reposado and he had the peachy keen, both drinks were good. We took desserts home, the chocolate cake and the carrot cake. Both was good, the chocolate was the better of the two. There was man there who seemed to be in charge of the floor who took our bill to comp my carrot cake for my birthday without me even asking. This place ran like a well oiled machine and they displayed great team work! I would definitely recommend 10/10.

Horrible experience. We reserved a private room. The host couldn't find our name. I asked him to read the names listed for the private rooms, to which he said we have many private rooms (you have 3, btw). He then realized our name was always there and then proceeded to point to the bar area and said that's our room. It literally was a space at the bar with a broken curtain that was meant to separate. Consider a very loud bar - what is the point of the private room??? They then moved us to another room, which had zero A/C. Very miserable experience.....

We had a great meal at Palm Tysons tonight! Our server, Bill, was wonderful and everyone was very friendly! Lobster tempura was amazing, highly recommended!!

Honestly, their food was okay. I got the pappardelle but it had zero flavor and the noodles seemed to be overcooked. I'm a little disappointed as it seemed like an upscale, nicer restaurant but didn't deliver on the taste.

Better Service! Maybe being shown a wine list would have been helpful. Plus given silverware? Had no knife to cut my meal.

I love the ambiance of The Palm. We got the calamari and the shrimp pasta. The calamari was fried super hard which we didn't care for but the pasta was cooked very well with a great sauce to top it off.

I had a business meeting at the Palm and the entire experience was outstanding. It is so wonderful to have waiters as professional and skilled as the ones at the Palm. I was provided outstanding recommendations and loved everything they suggested. My steak salad was exceptional.

What an awesome dining experience! The food and service were amazing! The ambiance was amazing as well! Bill was incredible and ensured we enjoyed every minute of the evening and surprise birthday dinner for a very special friend! The Palm was the perfect place for our special event. The filet and seabass were delicious and cooked to perfection. The au gratin potatoes were the best, ever! Thank you, Bill and Palm management for a truly impressive and memorable evening! Visited The Palm Tyson's and had a great time with a great waiter Dennis. The food was good and the service was spectacular. What we ordered... Appetizers - all delicious Seared sesame - crusted tuna Crabmeat cocktail Jumbo shrimp Bruno Dinner Bone in Rib Eye - tand seasoned well. Creamed spinach Mashed potatoes I think that they changed something in the ribeye because it was too good. They had the salt to pepper ratio to perfection. It wasn't crowded because everyone was at the DC location but it worked out well for us because I guess the chef wasn't under too much pressure and took his time with the food lol. Would I go back... Absolutely

The good things first - the food and the service is very good although pretty expensive, and I really appreciate the free valet service. Having said that, the place has poor acoustics making it very loud and unless you catch them on a slow day, it is very hard to carry on conversations without screaming at the top of your lungs. I recommend you try the patio during the summer or warmer days - It is much quieter and private.

Well...the food is and has always been fantastic - it looks good - it tastes great and it is always over the top and always perfect - when I get a salad I look for the care in the lettuce selection! Perfect! The service is exquisite and when a server is a lifelong Palm employee you just know there is quality of service! It was a very laid back lunch and I was a bit surprised that there was no crowd - that is a first for me, but I am sure it's a fluke! The Palm is A+!

This place is the best! Alex is the man. Great recommendation on the parm! If you want great food made by and served from great people, this is your spot.

Great Friday Nite!! Everything about The Palm is top notch. The staff is always fun and eager to share their favorites and always accommodating. The food is amazing!! Steaks and creamed spinach were best I've had in awhile. Cool relaxing scene. Back soon...no doubt

I only went here as my work gave me a gift-card. The food is FAR overpriced for what you are getting, the service you are receiving, and the overall aesthetic of the restaurant. Servers feel like they are rushing you through service and constantly try to upsell you. My work then gave me another gift-card so I did a pick up order to avoid all the eat-in hassle. I know it's pick up but the presentation was wild work, so so so unappetizing. Again got another gift-card, and my partner took his mother just for lobster- ridiculously overpriced for a crustacean and some butter. I will not be back even with another gift-card.

Dinner at the Palm was as notable for the service as for the steak.  Our servers could not have been more helpful or pleasant which made the meal relaxing and fun.  The Gigi salad was a generous portion and a great mixture of tastes and textures.  Both the prime NY strip and the center cut filet were great but we preferred the meatier flavor of the strip steak.  The fries were really good as was the creamed spinach (going for one sort of healthy and the other not but so worth it.)  The valet parking is an added bonus and the location is convenient.  The décor is fun to peruse with caricatures painted directly  on the walls all around.  Though we are not near important enough to be on the wall, we still felt as if we were treated as such by the team at The Palm.

Had a great experience at the Palm! Went for Mother's Day with my mom. All the food was good from the soups which were creamy and not too fishy for being lobster bisque and clam chowder, to the steak which was cooked to perfection (medium rare), to the tiramisu which was rich, creamy and delicious! The service was ourstanding. Even though it was crazy packed that evening, our server John was extremely attentive, nice, and took great care of us. When John was busy the other servers were also willing to step in for the smaller needs including more water, boxes, etc. Great experience overall and can't wait to go back to try more on the menu!

Loved it. We look forward to going again. My husband I went for our anniversary and we were very pleased. Our steak was cooked perfectly.

Ate here with a small group of business colleagues, paid for by the business. Really enjoyed the food and wine, terrific service. Each dish cooked perfectly. Prices are a bit high, my impression is that the clientele are generally on business expense accounts. It is hard for me to imagine paying for this meal myself.

We had a really positive experience coming to the Palm for an early dinner. Our waiter as attentive and dealt with our indecisiveness and our banter. We started off with the shrimp casino and the prosciutto with sweet pear, both were great. They don't have any draft beers but they make a good dirty martini. I got the chicken parmigiana which was huge but had no pasta. That was ok as we had order a ton of sides for those who for steak- creamed spinach, hash browns, and au gratin were all sides that were definitely worth it. The steaks all looked great and were cooked to order- order the Pittsburgh style for a great crust. We finished the night with some awesome carrot and chocolate cake! Ambiance is nice here but quite loud! Not a great spot for a first date. They do not validate parking.

This a wonderful more upscale steak and seafood restaurant located in Tysons. My husband and I came here for his birthday and decided to sit in the bar area and take advantage of the Hour Hour deals. The food is always good when we come here. The service we had this time around was okay. Definitely could have been better as it took a bit to see her when we needed something.

The Palm is one of my favorite go to's in tysons not just for it's amazing staff mostly the amazing bartender Alex! He provides excellent service and care. This ensures a five star experience every time! :)

Food, service and ambiance are fantastic at The Palm Tysons! Hands down, you cannot beat the lobster or the seafood, prepared perfectly so you taste the seafood. Amazing veal, ribeye filet mignon cuts that nobody can beat, plus a cool and fun vibe, not stuffy. Great waitstaff, all around great service from bar to restaurant, just the best! Been enjoying The Palm for 25 years, and we hold all our birthdays and anniversary celebrations there. 10 STARS

Met a friend at the bar and of course had to get a steak! She got fish. We started with the Caesar which was good. The bartender/waiter suggested we split it since it is large. Great idea! Then I had the smaller 8oz filet with blue cheese. Good quality steak, cooked perfectly. Service at the bar was excellent.

Came here to celebrate a nice Christmas dinner with the family. Started off with the Grilled Octopus, the Meatball, and Prosciutto. For my entree I got the Tomahawk Ribeye with a variety of sides (Mashed Potatoes, Mac and Cheese, Asparagus, Mushrooms, Shimp Risotto, and Truffle Risotto. For dessert we got their Cheesecake, Tiramisu, and Crème Brûlée. There are some hits and missies. All the steaks were perfectly cooked and juicy and the desserts were all great as well. However, you should 100% pass on the risottos. Our server Jeremey was great also. Overall a nice dinner out.

This is a favorite spot for the CEO of my company. On a recent visit he left his cell phone which would have been a disaster if not for the outstanding customer service provided by Caitlyn. She called me using the number from the reservation and I could notify my boss before he left town. Great food, great service and a staff that goes above and beyond. What's not to love? Kudos to Jared for managing a great team. Our company Chairman also asked that I mention Dennis their server who makes everything so perfect for their business lunches.

So much fun. I had dinner solo at the bar. The steak and lobster were wonderful. But the high point was (were?) the great people behind the bar. Special shout-out to Dennis, Robin and Mike. They made the evening truly special. Tonight was a reminder why The Palm is an awesome place for dinner, especially if you're eating alone.

I went here for my birthday and had the power lunch and it was nice. I started off with the lobster bisque, then had the chicken Parmigiano, which comes with pasta as well. Then i had a cheese cake. Good 3-course meal for the right price.

Had a great impromptu date night with my wife at the bar. Alex took care of us and steered us towards all the best apps and we split a huge steak and a couple bottles of wine. Epic night and will definitely be back.

Another great experience at the palm. Went on a first date with someone I met on the internet. Had Alex as my server and he talked me up to my date which sure helped. Of course the dinner was great but thank god we left some room for dessert in my hotel room

I was so looking forward to eating here. I previously ate here years ago and it was wonderful. I was so disappointed in the food this time around. My daughter and I ordered the calamari app, the filet mignon , and lobster gnocchi and a side of mushrooms. The calamari was awful. A few were good but most pieces were so hard almost like it had been previously cooked and then re fried again it also had fried lemon slices in it which was odd. Usually it has fried cherry peppers if anything. We didn't finish it. Steak was very rare. I hate sending food back but had to have it cooked a bit more. The Bearnaise sauce wasn't a sauce it was the consistency of mayonnaise. My daughter's lobster gnocchi was terrible. They forgot her lobster tail at 1st and when they brought it it was 1/2 and so small. It was so overcooked it was dry and stuck to the shell . The gnocchi itself had no flavor and was gummy. The food had zero seasoning. Everything was so bland, not a grain of salt. This place has really gone downhill. For the amount it costs save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else.

I visited for a business meeting event in private dining on a Monday evening. The ambiance was very nice and welcoming. The restaurant has an open feeling and there is a bar. Service was very good and attentive. The meal was preselected and it was very good. There was chicken parmigiana, filet and salmon. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I stayed at the Ritz next door so did not have to worry about parking. Overall I recommend.

Overrated and overpriced. You get nothing near what you pay for. Been to way better and far cheaper steakhouse establishments. Came here for a friends birthday. We had reservations in one of the separate closed off rooms. The table got a variety of steaks, seafood, chicken, and pork entrees. We got a variety of sides for the table too and several mixed drinks. The food wasn't bad, but wasn't anything memorable. The only thing memorable was the final bill which was insane. It ended up averaging out to well over $100 per person. It's unlikely I will ever come here again.

The food is amazing and the staff even more so. We had a wonderful dining experience.

Anybody who knows me KNOWS I love a good steakhouse. Having dined at the DC Palm a time or two, I couldn't wait to celebrate by homies birthday at the Tyson's location. Once you enter, you know you're surrounded by class! The staff was super attentive and directed me to the lounge at my request. After my customary "pre-game" drink, I was escorted to my party of twenty. We ordered just about every item on the menu and the staff were complete professionals , logging zero miscues!! On to the food! I normally choose steak at fine steakhouses, however, this particular night I wanted my beloved lamb chops. They were AWESOME. Thick, juicy and seasoned perfectly! The side dishes were just as delicious. A couple of my tablemates had to have their meals redone. Just a little too pink for their taste. Once the correction was made, they loved their meals just as much as I loved mine and all was well with the world.. Lol!! The Palm-Tysons was exactly what I expected it to be... up to high end steakhouse PAR!! So, the next time I'm in the mood for amazing lamb and amazing service... I'LL BE BACK!!!!

Food here is average. The food is generally bland to me. Service is good though. Can get loud in there for the after work dinner rush

Initial seating experience and wait/host staff were great. We enjoyed our waiter's attentiveness and the appetizer with drinks, unfortunately he didn't wait on us the entire night. Once the NFL game began, it was clear the bulk of the employees were more interested in watching and loudly cheering for that than doing their job. Also, there were unflattering comments by the employees toward the other city and team (I'm a fan who didn't take kindly to their words and let them know); I'm all for a back and forth among patrons but expect employees and management to do their job and show some courtesy. As you can imagine, our service went downhill from there. While my wife enjoyed her entree, my signature chicken parmigiana was initially good but found it entirely burnt and dry on one side. It's my fault for not bringing it to their attention and sending it back, but given the above experience/atmosphere I was ready to pay the $200 check and leave. Expected more for the price point and restaurant's self portrayal, but now know why their reviews are lower than I would have expected; we probably would have had a better experience at Chilis......

This place speaks fun yet upscale. It's somewhere to have a date night or enjoy some drinks with coworkers. The artwork throughout the restaurant will keep you looking around trying to identify the people. The food, drinks and dessert speaks for itself. Everything is amazing and you will get your money's worth.

I decided to take my mom out to eat here for her birthday. She enjoyed it and had a great time. The service was excellent and food was ok. I felt like the octopus I ordered wasn't flavorful enough and to mushy. But the ambiance was nice. I ordered the steamed 4lb lobster and I would say it was delicious although they didn't season it prior to steaming the lobster. The drinks I ordered was yummy I had the palm Moscow mule.

*******Trust all the bad reviews for this restaurant****** Do yourself a favor and don't eat at this restaurant even if somebody else is paying for it. That's how bad our experience was. My fault though since we decided to eat here in spite of all the bad reviews thinking it may just be a few people that were dissatisfied with their meals. The steak I ordered was so salty that I was about to throw up towards the end. The waiter rushed us to eat because he clearly did not look like he wanted to be there and wanted to get home. We had some loud people sitting next to us, so we politely asked the waiter if we can move to another table and instead of moving us, he said that they should be leaving soon anyway which they didn't. This was right after we were seated so it wasn't like it was in the middle of our meal and the restaurant at the time was very empty. So, horrible customer service overall. Before you decide to go here, at least read all the other bad reviews on Yelp. There are way cheaper places that have better food and service.

Just arrived into town after traveling all day and wanted a hearty meal. My wife and uncle ordered the 8 oz. Steak one medium rare and the other medium well. I ordered the prime 22 oz. bone in ribeye medium rare. My wife's and uncles steaks were switched and my bone in ribeye was 1/2" thick. Something that I could have received at Logan's roadhouse. We were served by three different attendants. The two men had a very strong accents and were just plain rude, not helping us out with the menu. We asked for their opinion and they kept saying whatever you want , what ever you want. As a new customer I would like their opinion. Which is customary for a server to give their opinion on menu items. We we looking for a nice guest dinner at a steakhouse . The website advertised that it was up scale. We we seated next to a family that had two crying babies and another that was having a kids birthday party. I'm sorry, but after a day of traveling and spending $500 for a dinner for a three. We could have gone to Applebees for $75 for the same experience.

I ordered a sea bass entree to go and I was not impressed. For the price of the entree, it was not worth it. The sea bass taste good, but the rest of it just looked like mush.

Food - 4/5 Service - 3/5. The food was great, but it wasnt anything out of this world. Basically a run of the mill steakhouse. My boyfriend got a steak which was cooked perfectly. I got the salmon, which was good but the portion was small and part of their branding is "large portions." We split the potatoes and asparagus and got the key lime pie for dessert. The pie was fine, but it couldve come from Costco or the grocery store. The service was so pushy! We didn't order appetizers because we both had a big lunch and the server was so pushy about it. He did the same thing with our sides, drinks, and dessert/coffee. Kept asking if we wanted to order more, which felt rude. I felt he was trying to get us to order more to get a bigger tip. Very unprofessional!

Food was amazing Service was beyond 5 stars Atmosphere was magical! This is a must for team bonding
