The Panorama Restaurant

At dinner service is a bit hit and miss. Ordered a bottle and the staff were pouring it for us until the last glass. Had to pour it ourselves which is fine except the fact the waitress was at our table checking in and didn’t take it off us to pour it. Food is great, portions look smaller than they are. At breakfast, our server was amazing, the selection is great and they offer a vegan full Irish or a plant based quesadilla for vegans/vegetarians. Lots of pastries as well.

Stunning views! Waiters are friendly and professional in the beginning of your visit. Food plating was great, looked aesthetically pleasing however, the food itself tasted terrible, not the quality of a beautiful hotel, it’s a shame really. The food is tasteless and overpriced. I ordered the beef option. It was tasteless, meat was not marinated in the slightest. The flavour was supposed to come with the sauces they have on the plate. The sauces are also very poor in taste. They had their own version of “bbq sauce”, it tasted like relish and ketchup. The vegetables they came with the main course were well overcooked. Lastly, I decided not to leave a gratuity as our experience was poor. The waitress was not pleased, they did not bring us the card machine to our table like they did with other patrons. When we paid at the front, she dropped the receipt on the table and walked away. Customer service was poor.

You have to go here to treat yourself to a great fine dining meal. Excellent food, creative plating design, and superb service, especially the attention to detail from our waitress Kasia. Special thanks to Sander for arranging the wonderful custom made dessert to celebrate our newest member to the family. Truly an unforgettable experience! Thank you!

Amazing food with great service that is of the highest standards. They went out of their way to celebrate an occasion for us. The scenery was second to none with the lakes of Killarney on full view.

Wonderful food and presented beautifully. The setting with the view of Killarney Lakes is breathtaking. We have been coming here for 13 years and have always had a lovely meal. In addition the chef has always accommodated our dietary requests. Special mention to Sergio and Daniela who provided fantastic service.

The Panorama Restaurant at the Europe Hotel in Killarney exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. We arrived at the entrance, there was no one there to seat us, this was not a problem, we were just chatting, one of the staff seen us, came over to welcome us, asked us how our day was, explained that he would not be able to seat us, but the restaurant manager would be along shortly and that we were not forgotten about. This small act was amazing - the restaurant manager and their team clearly have hospitality down to a fine art. We started our meal with an excellent starter of pork belly and prawn which was the special that night. The pork belly was cooked to perfection, was meltingly tender. The prawns were fresh and cooked well, complementing the richness of the pork beautifully, the apple, glazed plum and jus, tied it all together beautifully For the main course, we both ordered the local beef. I have to admit that the dish may not have been the most experimental on the menu. However, the quality of the beef was absolutely amazing. Cooked to a perfect rare, it was incredibly tender and full of flavour. While the vegetable accompaniment of boiled broccoli, cauliflower and turned carrots was a little uninspired and felt like something from the 1980s, it didn't detract from the overall experience of this dish. To finish, the spiced orange dessert had some very good components. The mascapone icream was smooth and completely without ice crystals, The citrus flavors were bright and vibrant, cutting through the richness of the meal. Overall, our dining experience at the Panorama Restaurant was absolutely amazing. The service was the best we've encountered in Killarney, with the small touches from start to finish making all the difference. Our server was extremely attentive, without being intrusive, its a fine line and she walked it with expertise. It's clear the restaurant manager has their team running like a well-oiled machine. We can't wait to return on our next visit to the Europe
