NYC New Restaurant Openings, November 2025 | Eater NY

"A new restaurant inside the Benjamin Royal Sonesta, part of the hotel’s $25 million renovation, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner — think steak tartare, grilled branzino, and bagels with smoked salmon — in an owl-themed setting with a mezcal cocktail called The Night Owl." - Tierney Plumb

Typical small hotel restaurant with typical dishes. This place is small. It could use more character to it somehow. The interior design is very basic. The prices are not cheap. It was a $40 breakfast per person. I should have asked for more hollandaise sauce because it was delicious. The potatoes had a great grated cheese and green herb topping to it.

Parliament is such a hidden gem under The Benjamin Hotel! The place is beautiful inside, really classy decor and a great vibe. The service was amazing, everyone was super friendly and made us feel taken care of. They even have a coat check, which was a nice touch. The cocktails were so good and perfectly balanced. The food was delicious! Seriously, you have to try the meatballs! Definitely coming back again. Perfect spot for drinks after work, dinner, or a chill night.

Really excited this restaurant is open! Beautiful, upscale decor, knowledgeable and kind staff, and the drink menu was fantastic. Speciality cocktails, wines, zero-proof selection as well. Highly recommend a visit if you are visiting the city or if you live in the neighborhood!

A true hidden gem — and one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in NYC. From the moment we sat down, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. I ordered a whiskey sour, and it was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had — perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and served with such pride. Every drink that came to our table was made with the same level of attention and skill. The ambiance itself feels intimate, warm, and elevated
a total hidden gem you’d never expect to find tucked inside a hotel. The food was just as impressive. The charcuterie board is an absolute must-try — generous portions, amazing quality, and so many layers of flavor. The meatballs were incredibly well-seasoned and cooked perfectly, full of depth and richness. And the salads? Fresh, decadent, and beautifully layered with so many textures and tastes. You can tell they put real thought into every ingredient. The kids ordered fries, and even those were delicious — simple, traditional, but done exceptionally well. And here’s where they truly won us over: We were running late for our Harry Potter Broadway show, and the team went above and beyond to help us make it on time. They prepared and served four full meals in literally eight minutes — and the food was still delicious, fresh, and perfectly cooked. They didn’t stress us, didn’t rush us — instead, they were incredibly kind and understanding. It felt like they were personally invested in helping our family make the show. Throughout the entire experience, the staff consistently made us feel like our visit mattered. Their friendliness, attention to detail, and genuine effort to make our dinner special truly stood out. All around, an amazing experience. We’re absolutely coming back — both for the food and for the top-tier service. A wonderful, underrated NYC spot that deserves far more attention.

Yelp
The Parliament is a delightful addition to Lexington Ave and the Turtle Bay neighborhood.I had stopped by after a long day of work, and was welcomed warmly by the hostess, before being seated at a luscious booth seating, beautiful interior design surrounding me, and such a wonderful atmosphere. Connected to the Royal Benjamin, I can envision this dashing restaurant and bar being a versatile, perfect spot for travelers, commuters, writers, professors, book worms, and NYC community overall. The Parliament is certainly timeless, classic in design, and with waiters and staff as if from the movies in their notable hospitality. I ordered a scrumptious autumn spritz, and a half rotisserie style chicken, nice and crispy, juicy, and with the most heavenly jus I've ever tasted, baked to perfection. The farro and greens accompanying the chicken also made for a hearty autumn entrée. I truly enjoyed my time dining in at The Parliament: an innovative, delicacy that is an incredible addition to the NYC league of tasteful, incredible cuisine. Cheers

Yelp
Food and drinks are both impeccable. We had the artichoke dip, branzino, and rigatoni. All were 10/10. Sonam provided amazing service.
