The Parlour

My cousin recently visited The Parlour for a hair highlight appointment, and unfortunately, Her experience was far from satisfactory. The stylist, Leigh Kasica, repeatedly claimed that my cousin’s hair was “not clean” and insisted she needed to treat it before receiving any services. This was despite the fact that her hair was perfectly fine—just slightly dry with minor dandruff, which is a common. There were no signs of lice or any other hygiene issues. Leigh’s comments were not only inaccurate but also made in front of other clients, causing unnecessary embarrassment. It’s disappointing that a professional establishment would allow such behavior, especially when the issue was not a hygiene problem but a minor scalp condition. She bleached half of her hair, and then started saying she wouldn’t finish it. It was really unprofessional. Now her hair is just damaged for no reason. I hope the salon addresses this matter to ensure that all clients are treated with respect and professionalism in the future.

It's like a drive through business. I had a smoothing treatment. The technician got the products on my scalp and caused major irritation. My scalp was hurting for a while. This particular type of treatment is not supposed to get near the scalp but I felt the stylist didn't care. She was unfriendly and I was not happy to work with her. A lots of tension was applied on my hair.

I went here today for a gel manicure and pedicure as well as a blow out. I walked out soending$215 on those three services including a tip. I told the hairstylist I wanted beach waves so for $50 she half ass blew my hair out because she was using the curling iron and then charged me an extra $15 for the curling iron. My pedicure cost $69 with not one added extra. It was your typical basic run of the mill pedicure. My manicure was also run-of-the-mill typical gel manicure with the exception of one thing she used three coats instead of two which made my nails look like heavy white paint. Nice people nice salon - But the audacity to charge so much for not one super fantastic service was ridiculous

Loved my stylist but the front desk consistently makes errors with scheduling and handles their errors as if they are on me. Over it, also more expensive than many other salons.

I’ve been getting service from Leigh for about 4 or 5 years now. She started off at another salon and I’ve followed her to the Parlour! Not only is she amazing, the Parlour has such an amazing atmosphere. It’s clean and the people are very friendly and helpful. I can’t recommend this place enough!!

We called and were able to get an appointment quickly, within 2 hours. The salon was very clean, nicely furnished and has a high-end feel to it. We were greeted quickly upon arrival by a smiling and friendly staff. Dawn worked on my 12 yr old daughter, and was able to figure out a nice cut that fits her style, and showed her how to style it herself, in a way that is doable for her! Ali took care of my very long, thick, curly hair with ease! We are both very pleased with the service, professionalism, and the new looks! Thanks ladies!

This salon is adorable. I made an appointment over the weekend and got my haircut by Dawn. Not only was she friendly but she was able to tell me how to take care of my hair better. She showed me the product she put in my hair and explained when to use it, etc. For anyone looking for a new salon who doesn't love getting their haircut, like me, I'd highly recommend The Parlour. The staff was nice, the salon is clean and pretty, and I absolutely love my hair (for once).. so it's safe to say I found a salon I like and will continue to go to, rather than bounce around from salon to salon trying to find a place worth going back to.

The staff at The Parlour are so welcoming. I'd been wanting a short haircut for a long time and finally worked up the nerve and made an appointment for September 13th. Marianna was my stylist and I can't thank her enough for doing such a wonderful job! She colored, cut and styled my hair beautifully - I feel like a new person. Oksana, who washed my hair, was awesome too - it felt more like a scalp massage! My husband and kids love it! I’ve gotten so many compliments on my hair cut and style. Thanks Marianna and The Parlour staff for such a great experience!

I needed a major change and could not be happier with my decision! From my first phone call to book an appt. To my color and cut, the staff were fantastic. I have not had a haircut that I loved this much, ever! Marzena, knew how to direct me and really took the time to listen and truly knew what would work best. I have never felt this secure about a stylist and I can't wait to see what's next. Thank you!

I have been going to Skylar for about two years now and she is amazing. Always so fun to talk to and very accommodating. Even when I was nine months pregnant and needed my lashes done (had to look good for labor lol) she made sure I was super comfortable. Everyone is so sweet there and I have never left unhappy. Always going to come back!

I thought I could go a few months tweezing my own eyebrows...boy was I wrong! Moral of the story, leave shaping your eyebrows to a professional! Basia @ The Parlour is hands down the best there is. Their customer service is top tier and their newest space and services are amazing (w/ plenty of parking too!) My eyebrows never looked so good - it's like i had an eyebrow lift. Plus, the vibe in there is so calm & relaxing...I can't wait to go back!!

I have been getting my eyebrows done by Basia since 2015. Over 5+ years later I am still a dedicated customer of her's. Her skills are exceptional. She is not only good at what she does she is also a superb human who goes above and beyond for her clients needs. Her work place is always neat and clean (almost OCD type clean) which is good! I feel safe and happy and of course love her energy too! She is hard to get an appointment with so make sure to plan ahead. Love love love Basia! She is a great addition to The Parlour.

I moved and could no longer go to my old lash artist . I was so happy I found Sky . She is amazing . I look forward to seeing her every 2 weeks .

This is my go to salon. I visit this place 3 to 4x a year. Everyone is nice, pleasant. Packed is clean and sanitized. Breanna is one of the best hair stylist I ever had. It is with the $.

Today was the first time I went to the Parlour nail salon. Jen was wonderful. She was so kind and did a fantastic job on my nails. The salon was clean and the staff was very polite.

Decided to take the leap of faith and try a new salon, I am SO glad I did!! Dawn gave me an amazing bayalage and cut. She listened and gave me EXACTLY what I have been trying to achieve for years through other salons. Allie was working as her assistant and was a great addition, giving me an amazing scalp massage and some good conversation. I have found my new hair dresser ladies!! THANK YOU!

If you want unmasked,un vaccinated technicians doing your eyebrows this is the place to go!! Went today for my eyebrows and the tech refused to wear a mask when I asked. Also came to find out from her that she is also not vaccinated. This business doesnt respect the health of their clients. Very upsetting during a worldwide pandemic.

Nobody was wearing a mask and that is very uncaring. I am fully vaccinated and I wear mine to protect others while indoors and in company of more than 40 people circulating around. My stylist is awesome and it pains me to write this. I hope The Parlor will reconsider its current policy. There were other businesses at Tice's corner who choose to ask their customers to wear a mask. What is your priority?

TL:DR - great personalized customer service, friendly and talented stylists, decently priced services My entire experience with The Parlour was so easy and really enjoyable. I called on a saturday morning, and I was able to get an appointment for the same day (pretty rare for the holiday season)! I got a bit lost trying to find the salon, but with some help from the front desk, I found it. The salon itself is so cute, and very clean! Ashley O. did a great job - she talked with me about my usual hair routine, and sent me for a wash (which was AMAZING - it was more like a massage, really. so relaxing!) then she made a few recommendations based on my hair type/routine, and gave me a good trim. I liked that she explained her approach, and talked me through each step. Then she dried and styled my hair in a beachy wave, and she showed me how to achieve the same effect at home. It was easy to make an appointment. The service I received there was personalized and not rushed at all. I left feeling relaxed and beautiful. Thanks to Ashley, and everyone at The Parlour for a great experience! I will definitely be back!

Needed a change and liked the look of this place so gave it a try. I am very impressed and will definitely be going back. Place is beautiful and very clean. Leigh cut and highlighted my hair. I have had many versions of highlights over the years but this is the best yet. She really knows her craft and gave me beautiful caramel colored highlights on my dark hair that aren't too red or too blond. I love the haircut and blow out too. Then Dema did my makeup. I needed a change after doing makeup the same for years and I love what she did and she was so generous explaining to me her tips for my skin type and age. I was able to take pics of the products she used so I can try to recreate the look on my own. I love my new look and will definitely be back.

If I could give this salon a 0 I would. Horrible ombré job. I paid $200 and spent 4 hours at this salon. It came out looking like dull highlights. The girl had no idea what she was doing...even though she had ombre herself. She attempted to curl my hair to try and see if there was a difference and there wasn't. She even took me outside with a mirror to try and see if there was any color difference. You could barely see the weird highlights in the end. Did I mention she was training someone also?! I ended up calling back later (after asking people for their opinion on if you could tell there was a difference) and telling the manager. She wouldn't give me a refund and ended up screaming at me for an hour accusing me of ripping other salons off.. Like Seriously?! After being yelled at by the manager and telling her all I wanted was an ombré and I didn't get what I wanted, she finally agreed to refund me......I still have not received the credit/refund. Update: The owner contacted me on here and let me know one of his front desk girls pretended to be his manager and if there was anything he could do to rectify the situation. Yes..refund me $200

I had a wonderful experience with Leigh at the parlour. She did my color and styled my hair beautifully. Leigh is very knowledgeable and skilled at her practice. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend her.

I have been searching for the right spot to get my hair done, and i found it!! First experience at this salon and it was EXCELLENT! Dawn was friendly and did a beautiful job on my highlights and cut! Basia also was so sweet did a wonderful job on my eyebrows! It really feel like it's a hidden gem I will definitely be returning! Thanks again girls!

Had a great first experience at The Parlour! The hair wash/head massage before my cut was so relaxing and my stylist, Ashley, was fantastic and knew exactly what would work best for my hair type. Looking forward to a return visit for my next cut!

Came in for my first visit as my hairstylist made a move. The space is gorgeous! I watched as a team of people worked to sterilize and clean each station and chair between clients and they were completely COVID compliant. The owner and his wife were incredibly friendly as was everyone else I encountered. Excited for my next appointment already!!

I cannot say enough nice things about Mike and Oksana. They worked on my husband's and my hair for a wedding we attended in the area. He had a trim and a blow out with Mike (he has long hair), and I got a blow out and curls from Oksana. My curls were perfect. I didn't fuss with my hair all night as I usually do because it was exactly as I had wanted it. My husband loves his cut and the way his hair looked at the event. Besides their excellent work, they were very sweet, unpretentious, and welcoming. I highly recommend them both.

Been coming here for over 2 years. Mike has cut my hair every time. I highly recommend him and the staff at the Parlour. Salon is very clean and very professional staff.

Love, love, love this salon. We used to go Michael and Dawn when they were at a different salon. They are both fantastic. The salon it self is beautiful. All the staff are always so friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this salon.

Love this salon for a number of reasons: really talented stylists who provide current cuts and color and do so in a warm, welcoming, casual environment. You are greeted upon arrival, offered something to drink, sit and meet with your stylist first and they actually care about what YOU want to look like (but are not afraid to make suggestions or provide guidance for what might suit you more). All of the stylists are great - I adore Laura and have been with her for years. She is a gifted artist and I always leave feeling like a better version of myself!

I like the feel of the Salon and used to see dawn but quickly got bored and needed a change, that being said staff is super nice,

The Parlour is such a nice salon. So friendly. Dawn is amazing. I have gone to so many places for color and she is the only one who has gotten it right! Highly recommend them!!

WOW - I called today as a new customer and the female who answered the phone was so incredibly rude and talked over me. I told her I needed an appointment after 3:15 today, and she kept talking over me asking me to come in at 12 Noon, or 1:00 pm or 2:00 pm. I finally had to tell her to be 'quiet' and let me speak. End result, she said she had nothing and hung up. I work in the area and will make sure to tell every female I work with NOT to go to this salon!!!!
