You don’t have to travel all the way to Greece to experience a little piece of Athens—Nashville has its very own Parthenon right in the heart of the city! This hidden gem is truly breathtaking. The stunning architecture, intricate sculptures, and beautiful artwork make it a must-see. Start your visit outside, where you can walk around the entire building for free. It’s a perfect way to spend some time in Centennial Park. (Worthy of its own review) Once you step inside, admission is super reasonable—$12 for adults, $10 for kids 4–17, and free for kids under 4. Plus, they offer discounts for students and veterans, which is a nice bonus. (Most of this property is accessible and there was even a wheelchair available which came in handy for us as we had a member of our group who needed it to be able to fully get around both levels.) The first floor is filled with fascinating exhibits, including artwork, mold-making tools used to recreate the Parthenon, and interactive displays that dive into its history. But the real showstopper is upstairs: the massive Athena statue will leave you in awe. To think the sculpture she holds in her hand is 6ft2 that’s litterally the size of my cousin. Surrounding her are more statues and displays that bring ancient Greek culture to life. This is the perfect short, affordable outing that’s both educational and visually stunning.

We visited The Parthenon in Nashville out of curiosity, and while it’s definitely unique in terms of architecture, the overall experience felt underwhelming. The structure is an interesting replica of the original Parthenon in Greece. It’s cool to see how they’ve recreated the broken or missing parts of the original based on history and imagination—it gives a sense of how grand the real thing must have been. The massive statue inside is impressive, and there are some beautiful artistic pieces worth a look. When you enter, there’s a gift shop where you also get your tickets. Parking was easy—there’s a lot right in front. We first went around 12:30 PM, just as it opened, but the line was already at least 30 minutes long, and standing outside in the heat wasn’t ideal. So we came back right before closing and were able to do a quick walk-through. The visit didn’t take long—maybe we stayed a bit longer just because we were taking photos. It’s not a large museum or a long tour, and to be honest, it didn’t quite feel worth the ticket price. Overall, it’s a unique stop if you're already in the area and curious about the architecture or Greek history—but don’t expect a long or deeply immersive experience.

Experience a little bit of Athens without having to go there, this gem is just in Nashville! Visiting the Parthenon is breathtaking to say the least. From the intricate architecture, to the beautiful paintings, and the detailed sculptures, there is plenty for your eyes to see. Starting from the outside, you can walk the entire perimeter of the building and see it in its glory for free. There are even spots where you can scan a QR code for an audio "tour" to learn about it. You can even sit around and enjoy the day on the building itself. Once you go inside, the museum is reasonably priced at $12 for adults and $10 for kids under 17 and under 4 is free. Even has discounts for students and veterans! When you go in, you are treated to a first floor filled with amazing artwork, replicas mold making tools, interactive learning about recreating the Parthenon, and other informational areas. Going up to the 2nd floor, is where you stand in awe of the enormous Athena statue in middle of the room and the surrounding areas have more statues and exhibits to enjoy. Overall, you'll spend about an hour here so its great for a short, inexpensive trip that is sure to educate you and expand your appreciation for ancient Greek culture. This is a great place to enjoy some beautiful scenery, inside the building and also the Centennial Park outside. Don't forget to check out the gift shop before you leave!

Google
I think the Museum is worth going to see. Your donations will help fill this building with more amazing artifacts. It's a wonderful mall that graces the lawn and the prize inside Athena, understanding the undertaking of the artist and seeing her in full glory is beyond breathtaking

Google
Free and easy parking, in awe of the main exhibit, however, so many things were empty and stated "exhibit coming soon" ticket counter person seemed to dislike her job thanks for southern hospitality ... sarcasm.. beautiful park sounding and overall a well worthwhile place to go!

Google
I will be visiting the original Parthenon in the Fall so it was great to see this place before as it provides a better sense of what it looked like. The building is impressive, the museum is nice and totally worth the price of admission. While I thought the museum would be bigger, it still did not disappoint, the cast of originals is a real nice touch. And what about Athena... It's hard to describe the grandeur and beauty of the statue. On it's own, it's worth the price of admission. I enjoyed the historical paintings and artefacts but my highlight was the Christy Lee muses exposition. The lighting, the colors, the images.. everything was perfect.

Google
Going through The Parthenon took approximately an hour. It cost $10 for entry for adults. My son is a graduate student and I would have gotten $2 off had he provided his student ID - which he wasn’t carrying. Two of the displays were closed. One display was having some maintenance on it and the other was being installed. The queue was blocked off by the Athena statue so it was awkward for people moving around the exhibit. We basically got to see the artwork in the gallery downstairs and the Athena replica. There are some historical blank and white photos that explain the building and purpose of The Parthenon. I’ve lived in Nashville before and never went into The Parthenon so, I think seeing The Athena replica is something you should do. There is also an elevator for those that can’t traverse the steps. Of notable interest to Michiganders, one of the artists was from a short distance from where I grew up in Michigan. The park is nice to walk around as well. Had all the exhibits been opened and we were informed upon entering by the ticket agent or docent, I probably would have given this destination a ten.

Google
Centennial park is a very nice park! I enjoyed seeing the Parthenon. It is a scale sized replica of the original in Greece. While visiting the park we saw people exercising, siting on the benches talking/eating, kids playing, etc. Very peaceful. The Parthenon is an art museum. Simply Beautiful! I will return during my visit to Nashville.

Yelp
The Parthenon in Nashville is a stunning monument, so beautifully replicated that it's hard to believe it's not the original. Located in midtown Nashville, the Parthenon is easy to spot, and while there's plenty of parking available, snagging a spot on weekends can be a bit of a challenge especially when everyone else has the same idea to visit this iconic spot. The Parthenon is nestled within Centennial Park, which is like Nashville's answer to a serene escape in the middle of the city. The park's surrounding gardens are a peaceful haven, perfect for a picnic or just lounging while admiring the majestic structure. The Parthenon isn't just a replica, it's the exact full-size replica of the ancient Greek monument, which is both impressive and awe-inspiring. The details are breathtaking, and standing in front of it feels like being transported to Athens, without the long flight. There's an admission fee that grants access to the Parthenon, as well as the impressive Athena statue inside. Athena, by the way, is quite the showstopper, standing 42 feet tall and looking every bit the part of a goddess It's hard not to stare. Inside, there's also an art gallery, which is a delightful surprise. The collection includes some fascinating paintings- everything from local artists to more classical pieces. The art is diverse, but it's clear that the gallery's curators have a knack for picking works that'll make visitors pause, think, and maybe even say, "I could totally put that on my wall." It's an unexpected but welcome addition to the Parthenon experience. (Pro tip: Don't rush through the gallery--there are some hidden gems that are worth a closer look!) After soaking in all the ancient Greek vibes, I took a long stroll through Centennial Park. It's massive, green, and the perfect spot for a long walk to burn off that picnic. There's a lovely lake with geese, and I witnessed plenty of kids having an absolute blast feeding them. It's the kind of wholesome scene that makes Nashville feel like a small town, despite its bustling city vibe. The Parthenon is undeniably a must-see for anyone visiting the "Athens of the South." make sure to grab some geese food (maybe just breadcrumbs, not an entire loaf), and enjoy this Nashville treasure!

Yelp
I thought it was neat to see the replica of the Parthenon! Inside on the ground floor there is a bunch of artwork, but nothing that truly stood out to me. The thing that was worth the admission fee ($10 for adults. If you use card, there is a 2.5% convenience fee) was the Athena! Located on the second floor, the sculpture takes up the whole room and is mesmerizing! They have a gift shop inside. Water bottles, even if empty, are not allowed. They do offer lockers, but it may be better to just store your personal belongings in your car. Free parking. There's a nice pond with some ducks outside as the Parthenon is located at Centennial Park.

Yelp
The Parthenon in Nashville is a must-see attraction, especially if you're exploring Centennial Park. This full-scale replica of the original in Athens is impressive in every detail and lives up to Nashville's nickname, "The Athens of the South." (I would strongly recommend athens of the south for any and all parthenon insta captions. It is such a vibe.) The architecture is breathtaking both inside and out. The towering columns and detailed statues across the top outside are a testament to ancient Greek design. Inside, the grandeur continues with the awe-inspiring statue of Athena. Standing over 40 feet tall and gilded in gold, the statue is an incredible centerpiece and a stunning sight to behold. The art gallery inside is small but nice, and it felt like a hidden gem when exploring the attraction. Some of the exhibits and facilities do feel a bit dated, but it doesn't take away too much from the overall experience. I feel that the gallery and entrance exhibits need to be renovated or updated greatly to keep with the grandeur of the rest of the attraction. The dingy carpet, harsh lighting on the artwork, and peeling off signage near the entrance give a poor first impression before entering into the main hall of the parthenon. For students, the discount makes it even more appealing! Be sure to have your student ID. One of the highlights for me was the Taylor Swift bench AND willow tree nearby, dedicated during the Eras Tour--an unexpected but fun photo op for fans. Plus, the free parking is a bonus, making this both an accessible and affordable activity before or after visiting the museum. While not an all-day excursion, visiting the Parthenon is a great way to spend an hour or two and soak in some history, art, and Nashville charm. Highly recommended for history buffs and casual tourists alike! I've lived in Tennessee my whole life and never visited the Parthenon until this week-- I'm very glad I went and will be back!

Yelp
Amazing replica of Parthenon with educational and informative plaques detailing Athena's symbolism and power within Greece. Love reading about mythology and visiting museums when I can't make it to the original location. Cute little art display from various artists before you enter the grand room with Athena

Yelp
The Parthenon is an amazing work of art. The dedication in replicating the original to the smallest details, especially during the time it was done, is simply incredible. Learning about it's history in the self guided tour was a great experience. We also enjoyed the other small exhibits. They were well organized and informative. Admission is $10 for adults. Parking is free.

Yelp
This is a must-see stop while in Nashville! If you're in need of a break from all the Honky-Tonks, this is the place to go. The Parthenon is "the world's only exact-sized replica of the original Parthenon in Athens", located in Centennial Park. This urban park was beautifully landscaped & spacious. It had many historic statues, a walking path, a pond & a great place to picnic - just to name a few features. We went during the week so there was plenty of parking & it's free. On the weekends there are many events so finding a parking spot could be a challenge. The Parthenon is massive, it's 65 feet tall at its apex! The classical Greek architecture is stunning & impressive. Inside the Parthenon is an art museum, with very affordable ticket prices - $10 per adult. Unfortunately we didn't have time to visit because we spent so much time outside on the steps watching Bon Jovi & the country duo, The War & Treaty perform. They were filming their music video, "The People's House". It was awesome! BTW Bon Jovi has a great Honky Tonk in Nashville. Nashville is known as "Music City USA", there's music everywhere...even at the Parthenon!

Yelp
This is a must for tourists visiting Nashville! Yes, the face is a little funky, but this is a significant landmark in Nashville, so you have to make a point of checking The Parthenon out. Located in Centennial Park, you'll find The Parthenon in the center of the area. It's huge - basically a full-scale replica of the original Parthenon in Greece - but seems so much smaller on the inside, for some reason. It's $10 to go inside, a little less for students. You should definitely go inside to get the whole experience. You'll see Athena, the statute, but there are also some cool art exhibits to browse. Make sure you note the open/close times and plan accordingly before coming. The park is otherwise pretty and there were quite a few people lounging around. The park is near Vanderbilt and you'll find plenty of eateries nearby. Lots of parking available.

Yelp
Only got to see the outside because the museum was closed, but this is a great spot to go for a walk

Yelp
Great place to spend the day, play sports and or just have a picnic. Highly recommended as a family fun activity destination.

Yelp
Had no idea this place was here, especially not since the late 1800s. There's a museum inside with history about the Parthenon and other events surrounding the construction; as well as a small collection of other art. The surrounding area is also nice to walk around and explore. Admission is $10 for adults, but they also offer discounts to military, students, teachers, nurses, emts...seemed like just about everyone. There's also plenty of free parking

Yelp
Been here few times and every time has been very pleasant experience. Easy to buy the tickets and see the exposition and then visit Athena in the main gallery. We appreciated the person explaining or answering any of our questions regarding Athena's history. This place is always clean and wheelchair accessible. Bathroom have been clean every time we went. Parking was also easy to find. This is such an asset for Nashville to have!

Yelp
Located as a centerpiece of Centennial Park, Nashville. This is a full scale replica of the Ancient Greek temple, Parthenon in Athens, Greece and was built in the 1890s. Essentially the Parthenon serves as an art museum for Nashville. Ensure to see the tallest indoor artwork of its kind in the Western Hemisphere, Athena that is 42 feet long. A tiny human sized Nike (goddess of victory) stands in her inner palm. Don't miss this attraction if you have some days in Nashville. Tickets are not free here, except on certain days when some other events are happening in Centennial Park.
google avatar

Nicole S.

Yelp
Why is there a Parthenon replica in Nashville? That was my question as I stood outside this giant building that looked like the one in Athens, Greece. (Or so everyone says -- I've never been to the real Parthenon in Athens, Greece.) Apparently, Nashville, at one time, was nicknamed the Athens of the South. To celebrate Tennessee's 100 years of statehood, the city built this Parthenon structure in 1897, which now serves as the centerpiece of Nashville's Centennial Park. Inside The Parthenon, you'll find a re-creation of the 42-foot statue Athena. This is the tallest indoor statue in the U.S., and you really get a sense of the scale when you look at Nike -- Greek goddess of victory -- who stands on Athena's upturned palm. Nike looks tiny, but is actually human sized: 6 feet tall! My mind was kind of blown when I learned that fact. Everyone comes to see Athena, but there are other art exhibits inside The Parthenon. It also houses sculptures and paintings by 19th- and 20th-century American artists, as well as more contemporary temporary exhibits. Families can check out Kidsville at the Parthenon, which is held most Saturdays each month. Visit the museum, enjoy the day's program, and pick up a Kidsville activity kit to take with you.

Yelp
This was at the top of my list of sites to see during my first trip to Nashville. It is quite the site to see. The museum is very small & it only takes maybe 20 minutes to view the exhibits inside & take in the building construction in its entirety on the outside. Very affordable & worth the photo ops if you're already in the area. I'll only share a few photos so I don't spoil the experience for you ;)
google avatar

Dimpie S.

Yelp
A little disappointed. The one statue upstairs is very nice but otherwise the outside structure is phenomenal I wouldn't recommend going inside unless you really want to. But it was a nice imitation. I wish there was more European history inside rather than Tennessee which I why it was a bit disappointing.
google avatar

Martha G.

Yelp
Great place to visit if you've never been. On a Tuesday afternoon it wasn't packed at all. Tickets are only $10 but I think they have free scheduled guided tours. The museum is fairly small and can get through it quickly. The Parthenon is placed in the middle of a beautiful park so you can also enjoy a walk or bring your lunch to enjoy outside during your trip. If you're a fan of the Percy Jackson movie, there is a small exhibit with the script and the pearl that was placed on Athena's crown in the movie.
google avatar

Samveda R.

Yelp
Beautiful park and structure! The museum was sadly closed by the time we arrived (closes 4:30 pm on Fri-Sun) but we walked around the park. Very dog friendly and many families were picnicking and groups were playing volleyball and soccer. There is a pond with geese, and some man-made small water features (little streams). It felt very safe and there was plenty of parking. We came back at night but parts of the park were very dark. The structure itself is lit up, but not the surrounding area, so we chose not to enter.
google avatar

Carmen L.

Yelp
One of the places I wanted to check out in Nashville and it's not far from our hotel and very close by Vanderbilt university. We didn't go inside the museum and just took photos outside and walked the park for a bits... The structure looks very amazing, looks similar to the real thing in Greece.
google avatar

Ella L.

Yelp
$10 admission (for adults) to walk around inside the museum. If you're a teacher, military, nurse, student bring your ID for $2 off. Children under a certain age is free. There are art works in addition to the Athena statue. If you're into art and Greek Mythology it's a good visit. I'm not into art, but loved Greek mythology when I was in grade school so enjoyed reading about the Athena statue. It's a good stroll on a chilly winter day. Drinks and food are not allowed, but there are lockers for you to store them for a quarter. There's also a gift shop if you want to buy souvenirs.
google avatar

Alison M.

Yelp
Highly recommend! So cool to visit! This has been on my list ever since I saw Nashville had a full-scale replica and recreation of the famous Parthenon from Athens, Greece. Hubs has been to Nashville a few times and had no idea this was here so he was game for a visit. At $10 per person - it's not a bad price and they have a $2 teacher, student and military discount with ID. It really doesn't take long to walk around inside and read the plaques, see the small art collection and visit the Athena Parthenos statue and the recreated reliefs on the second floor. The giant golden and realistic statue on the second floor in the main atrium and the large bronze doors are amazing. Neither of those two originals exist anymore and I think I read that these are the only full-sized replicas in existence. So worth it! Now I've seen the original and the recreation!
google avatar

Yelp
Nashville must- see!!! For a small admission fee ( $10) we enjoyed touring the Parthenon interior, and learning more about its origin. It's FABULOUS!!! You will be taken aback if you don't know what to expect upstairs . Then walk the premises.... picture what the grounds looked like in the beginning.
google avatar

Joy S.

Yelp
In looking for some unusual things to do while in Nashville, we came across this. There is an art museum inside this structure. They had a couple of floors with some interesting art and history, but it wasn't a large collection. There's a huge statue of Athena on the upper level, a section of hands-on for kids, and a couple of areas showcasing artists. It was a nice break from the heat and humidity of the day and is found on the grounds of a beautiful park with a lake.
google avatar

Wesley W.

Yelp
Drove up on this place as we were cruising around Nashville. Just did the walk around the building to admire the architecture and visualize what the original Parthenon must have looked like. Then we walked around the park to the lake where folks are walking their dogs or exercising. Very cool vibe here. Would love to have biked around.
google avatar

Heather M.

Yelp
This was an interesting and educational self-guided tour. It's small but worth the price of admission. Some hands on displays as well. We were happily surprised with our visit. There is art on display as well!
google avatar

Yelp
Meh. Nit interesting at all other than the size if the atatue inside. The outside was nice to look at but not wow amazing

Yelp
I went about ten years ago on a trip to Nashville and just went again for a second time on my latest visit. We arrived in town super early so I found a place across from Centennial Park to have breakfast. We checked our bags nearby with an app called Bounce so we didn't have to drag them along and made our way to the Parthenon. Knowing that we had some time to kill before check in to our airbnb, I definitely took more time to read more of the plaques and take it all in. It was frigid out so this was a nice indoor activity for the six of us to explore on our visit. It's also very inexpensive for a touristy thing to do in town. Obviously Athena is the high point, but make sure to take time to read about the history and check out the artwork too. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Jerry M.

Yelp
Very interesting museum for architecture fans. This is a full size replica of the Parthenon in Athens. The one up on the Acropolis that blew up in the 17th Century. So here was built a faithful replica in concrete. Much like a VR experience, in that you can walk around a version of the original building accurately depicted in scale and size. Inside is a statue of Athena which the original is said to have also housed. Is it kitschy? A little bit. But more important is the opportunity to experience the Parthenon as a building intact. Its well worth the price of admission. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Andrea H.

Yelp
This building is great! Located in Centennial Park, this structure is massive and the gold statue of Athena is also huge! We took the hop on/off orange trolley tour for the day and it dropped us off just a few feet from this. You go around the back to get access and the basement has information about the structure and Athena is located upstairs. It is a must see when visiting Nashville. Don't skip it!!!
google avatar

Leslie H.

Yelp
It's cheap (10.00 for adult). Lots of cool art and the Athena statue is amazing. The park is beautiful. Make sure to go try the swing and see the bench dedicated to Taylor Swift.
google avatar

Hosh S.

Yelp
Part of Vanderbilt University, this was a great treat to admire. We were in Nashville only for a day and got there after they closed, so couldn't go in. It's a beautiful replica of the Archipolis that was also a replica of and nspired by Persepolis from ancient Iran. The columns and place looked so authentic, it sucked we couldn't go inside. Highly recommended if visiting Nashville!
google avatar

Warren D.

Yelp
Date of visit: August 12, 2023 We had a little more time to kill in Nashville and this was a highly-rated location to visit, though I am a bit stumped as to why. While it's an impressive building, both the structure and the massive Athena inside, the admission is a bit steep for a place that you would be hard-pressed to stretch an hour. There is history of the construction of the facility in Nashville as well as the original in Greece and how they replicated the European premise and how they had to take different tacks in some areas, and that was very interesting. The faire that predicated the construction of the building was also interesting but doesn't take all that long to view. There is some historic art but it's quite generic and not particularly exciting or interesting. During our visit there was also a temporary exhibit but it also didn't do much for me.
google avatar

Andrea W.

Yelp
Came here for a Candlelit Concert in fall 2023, and it was cool! Saw the big statue but unfortunately didn't get to read much of the descriptions inside the museum. Was a good experience although the acoustics aren't great for classical music, but I guess it's still a neat venue for live music!
google avatar

Ashley R.

Yelp
This place is alright. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back here. It's nice to walk around and see the replica, but I know it would be better to see the real thing. We didn't stay long, but enjoyed the visit here. The museum art is boring, but the statue and the outside area was pretty cool to see.
google avatar

Jose P.

Yelp
The Parthenon is a site to behold. The art and structures that adorn the inside are amazing. I was really impressed with the art and the pictures that you'll view, will not do justice to the beauty of seeing them in person. I enjoyed how they have the entire inside set up. Arrows will guide you through each section and each section just kept getting better and better. The second floor is incredible. There, you will behold a 41+ foot statue of the goddess, Athena. Aside from Athena, you will see an intricate display of the statutes that adorn the top of the actual Parthenon, in Greece. Before or after your indoor tour, stop by their gift shop. You will be able to purchase many Parthenon items, as well as Medusa. If you are a Teacher, active/prior military, or a first responder, please bring your identification, because you will receive a discount at the ticket window. Please, take time to visit the Parthenon. You still be amazed at what you will see and have plenty of opportunities to relax throughout its vast outdoor areas.

Yelp
Super neat experience! I didn't know this existed until I found it in a guide on a recent trip to Nashville. We went just before closing so there wasn't a ton of time to browse but all I really needed to see was the giant replica of Athena anyway. You can tell from pictures that she's huge, but it took my breath away to experience it irl. Outside, lots of people were having picnics, exercising, and hanging out. A group of people were practicing breakdancing which was fun to watch. It's a lovely place to visit and relax even if you don't go inside.
google avatar

Scott E.

Yelp
What a weird little place! But we enjoyed our visit and got the chance to hear a talk from one of the employees. Not a huge museum so it certainly won't take you that long to visit, but it's a cool place in a cool area.
google avatar

Bill B.

Yelp
It's worth a quick stop if you are in the area but I would not seek it out from afar. I still don't know why there is a Greek style building in Nashville You won't need for than a few minutes
google avatar

Carlos G.

Yelp
This was a cool yet odd sighting in Nashville...didn't do the tour we only checked it out walking all the way around...its literally across the street from the university in huge open grass area and stands out. Apparently its an exact replica that is my opinion was a very cool sight ..wish we had time for the tour...next time

Nazh D.

Yelp
This was a unique little place in the middle of the city. During the time we went there was a lot of closed areas due to a concert, they were building a stage. It was still nice to take a picture since its something you dont expect to see in Nashville. Entrance fee was $10, we didnt get to go in so I can comment on the inside but the park surrounding the parthenon was really nice and chill.

Yelp
As a parent with young children, I highly recommend visiting the Parthenon replica in Nashville. This iconic landmark offers a fantastic experience for the whole family. From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel welcome and were more than willing to answer any questions we had. The Parthenon itself is truly awe-inspiring. The level of detail in the replica is stunning, giving children an opportunity to learn about ancient Greek architecture and history in a fun and interactive way. The size of the structure is perfect for little ones to explore without feeling overwhelmed. Inside the Parthenon, you'll find an incredible art gallery showcasing various sculptures and paintings. It was fascinating to see the famous Athena Parthenos statue up close, and my children were enthralled by its grandeur. The exhibits provide an educational yet enjoyable experience for kids, sparking their curiosity and imagination. What truly sets this attraction apart is the adjacent Centennial Park. The park offers vast green spaces where children can run around and play freely. There are also beautiful walking paths perfect for strolling or biking as a family. We brought a picnic lunch and enjoyed it under the shade of the trees while watching our kids have a blast on the playground. Additionally, the Parthenon replica hosts seasonal events and activities catered specifically to families. When we visited, there was a children's art workshop that allowed our little ones to express their creativity and learn more about Greek culture. Overall, our visit to the Parthenon replica was a memorable experience for the entire family. It provided a perfect blend of education and entertainment, leaving us with lasting memories. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this is definitely a must-visit attraction for families with small children. You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Well worth the $10 admission. Inside of a very pretty park, you'll find this replica of the Parthenon that is in much better shape than the original. I have read about this and seen pictures, but seeing the Athena statue in person was still really awesome. The size and scope of this is pretty amazing. If you've ever seen truly impressive cosplays at comic conventions, imagine a city doing it for who knows why. It's one thing to claim to be the "Athens of the South" and entirely another to put money where mouth is and build a Parthenon. Shout out to Nashville for being about it.

Yelp
The Parthenon is absolutely beautiful and make sure you pay the $10 to enter on the East end to see Athena! It's so worth it! The Centennial gardens is next door and has a bench where Taylor Swift is known to have visited often, as well.

Yelp
Who knew there was an exact replica of the Parthenon from Athens in Nashville, TN???!!! In the middle of Centennial Park and near the Vanderbilt campus. A great park and a nice reminder of my time in Greece when I was a teen.

Yelp
There's a museum inside where you can see a couple of art exhibits. Also, you will find a 42 foot statue of Athena. The goddess of crafts. Afterwards, you can take a beautiful walk around the park.

Yelp
Definitely cool! I haven't seen the real one but this is the exact replica. I love the look and architecture of it. I also love that Athena is the main golden statue and had a good story to it too. One thing I didn't like were some of the interpreted art work before heading up to the Athena statue. I mean, I probably don't understand some of the art work, but the middle section was like super weird and elementary looking. I did liked the art work on the sides though, the traditional paintings and the history in the back. Overall it's worth it, pay and see the statue.

Yelp
A must visit while in Nashville! Such a cool spot & great surrounding area. We walked the park and the outside of the actual Parthenon structure. I've yet to visit the real one, but they say the replica is spot on. The structure feels goodly. Unfortunately because we were on a time crunch we weren't able to go inside & see the museum.

Yelp
A full scale replica of the famous Greek Parthenon. Also has an art museum inside for $10. As someone who's been to the original, I prefer that one. Still not sure why the people of Tennessee made it to be honest, lol. But it's cool they made a full scale version! The artwork inside is nice to see if interested

Yelp
It was a must see. It's located in a park where people were playing football, sitting out picnic, and just chilling. I went to just go see the structure. . Finding parking was kind of hard. Luckily I had a truck so I just parked to the side where the grass was with striped mark on the parking spot. I didn't take long to go visit the building so it worked out fine. . The Greek building is worth all the trouble to find parking, there's plenty of parking so no worries. If it was a nicer day without the cold much, I prolly would have sat outside and picnic. Maybe in the near future when I come visit. Thanks for reading and have a yelptastic day!

Yelp
This review is only for external photos as I stopped by the Parthenon after-hours in the late evening. I really loved how the Parthenon was lit up at night, and it was rather empty except for a few locals walking along Centennial Park. I'm glad to have stopped by this full-scale replica during my short trip to Nashville, and was able to capture some great night shots.
