The Pastards

May be the best past in island. We loved schrimp pasta and pasta vodka. However they don’t have enough waiter/waitress in busy time you have to wait also you have to remind your requests many time.

The staff were polite and friendly. They knew English so we almost had no struggle to communicate. We ate 3 or 4 kinds of pizzas and they were all so tasty. I mostly recommend pizzas rather than pastas. Hot service with a great atmosphere, you can also see the great see view. One of the best places where you can enjoy your meal in Chios. They have a verified menu, vegetarian options included. Also the origami butterfly detail was cute and fancy.

The food was very tasty, and the portions were generous. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the following: We ordered two glasses of rosé wine, but we were not satisfied with the quality and asked the waiter to replace them. However, when we received the bill, we were charged for four glasses. Upon asking the waiter for clarification, he explained that the order had already been placed twice and, unfortunately, nothing could be done about it. I leave it to you to draw your own conclusions.

Visited here 2 years ago.. nice to see the same quality service and value... Very nice staff, spoke good English. Food was reasonably priced. Clean and warm restaurant. Pizza was lovely, good balance of cheese and ingredients. Mushroom risotto was outstanding.. highly recommended.

The size of the food is big, so you may order a pizza and a pasta for 3 people. The pizza is single size and it is around 36 cm. The problem is, if you order pasta and pizza, you will have your pizza in 10-15 mins while you will have your pasta / burger after 50 minutes. This may sound crazy but this is how it happens. So, be prepared to be served very late for your pasta. It might be delicious but I am bot sure if it is worth waiting for it and paying around 10 Euros. The house wine was also good.

This was our favourite restaurant on Chios. We loved it so much we went twice that week. The service was very friendly and it seemed as though they were genuinely passionate about what they do. The food was spectacular and the drinks were great too. This adorable little restaurant should not be over looked. Prices are very good for what you get.

The handmade ravioli was delicious. We love Merlot and tried a lot, but the house red wine, Merlot, here was sour and tasted like vinegar. The rosé wasn't bad. The pizza was also decent, but it definitely needed olive oil on top. We asked the server to bring it. She went to the kitchen to ask them, and the staff there said something, but whatever happened, it wasn’t brought. As far as I know, in an Italian restaurant, olive oil with chili peppers is usually available on the table. It was disappointing that, despite our request for plain olive oil, it wasn’t brought and no one said anything about it, and I don’t think it was forgotten during the course of events; even if they couldn’t bring it, which is not a problem at all, they should have said something instead of ignoring us.

The food here is surprisingly good. The pasta, the houmous with grilled veggies, the chicken ballotina... portions are generous too! The service is very good and the fact that tables outside are not on the street next to the traffick gives it an advantage compared to all other restaurants nearby. Prices are very good especially when compared to the food quality and overall experience. Definitely worth trying if you re into Italian cuisine and find yourself in chios Town.
