The 21 Best Restaurants On Martha’s Vineyard - Martha's Vineyard - The Infatuation

"The Pawnee House feels like a dinner party you actually want to be at. You’ll find everyone from farmhands to fashionistas, with a menu full of things like whipped feta sourced from the island’s Mermaid Farm, and mains like vegan curry pot pie and Korean jackfruit tacos. The owners clearly care—not just about the sourcing and quality of the food, but also about making dinner feel like a special event (complete with a table-side wine stand) even if it’s just a random Wednesday night. Whether you’re on a date or out with friends, it’s one of the island’s most reliable dinner spots." - morgen schroeder, tanya edwards

This is one of the best places I've ever eaten! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the service was also very good. The only reason I gave it four stars is that my drinks should have arrived before my meal, and the drink service was a bit slow. Other than that, it's a fantastic place with amazing food, and I had one of the best lemon drop martinis I've ever tasted!

Growing up summering on the vineyard every year, you find yourself returning to the classic restaurants. However, this restaurant was a surprise find! The food was fresh and amazing! Making a reservation, if you can, is a must! We will be back for sure!

Best (Korean short rib) tacos my son has ever had in his life. He was talking about them all night. My chicken souvlaki bowl was delicious. Discovered this restaurant from the Find Me Gluten Free app. Appreciated that everything was clearly labeled. Cost more than we normally pay off the island for dinner but worth the price as a treat for us. We were able to walk in because we went mid-week right when they opened, but it was shortly full. I’d recommend making a reservation.

Had an early Sunday dinner here on memorial day weekend. I highly recommend making a reservation because this place fills up! We had an excellent meal. The cocktails, apps, mains and dessert were all equally delicious. I had the Salmon Wellington (photo below) and my friend had the special of the day. Our server was delightful and attentive and the atmosphere was very quaint and funky with local artists lining the walls. They have lots of vegan options if that's something you are after...get the vegan chocolate Cake! It's to-due for!

My husband and I came here for dinner at the recommendation of our hosts from Jade House B&B and I'm so glad that they recommended this restaurant. We wanted to find a place for a nice dinner (quietly celebrating our wedding anniversary) but nothing overly fancy and this was legitimately perfect. The restaurant is cosy so definitely make a reservation to ensure a table! What was nice is that, despite the restaurant not being huge, it didn't feel cluttered or crowded, nor was it overly loud or noisy. You could sit and have a conversation with dinner without feeling rushed, or like you were shouting. AND THE FOOD!!! We honestly wanted to order everything on the menu (but couldn't). The beverage options were varied and delicious, and I really appreciated that there were multiple non-alcoholic options for cocktails. We ended up ordering the Salmon Wellington (incredible) and the Chicken Pot-Pie (truly the best pot pie I have *ever* eaten), and then finishing with the Lemon Tart and Strawberry Shortcake. I honestly could have just eaten the Shortcake and been happy (not really, but kind of!). Everything was delicious and perfectly portioned and I hope that the next time we visit, we can try more of the menu!

Google
We held a wedding rehearsal dinner here and couldn't have been happier. Alex and Chef Debbie were very helpful during the long distance planning stage. When we arrived the restaurant looked beautiful and the service by Alex, Tabitha, & Brenno was outstanding. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. It was a perfect evening. Highly recommend!

Google
Great meal! The place is small and very busy. I felt very bad for Alex the host! There were many Karens trying to use their privilege and asking for a table without a reservation even after he told them there were none. Two women even asked if he could ask people sitting at the bar to get up early to accommodate them! Very poor taste and Karens being Karen. Aside from that food was great. Our waitress got one item of our order wrong but we were accommodated with a free dessert so it all worked out. Also mixed drinks were made strong so a plus! Salmon Wellington excellent and beet and goat cheese stack great and the shishito peppers were roasted to perfection. Strawberry shortcake so good with the homemade biscuit! All together a great meal. But please If want to dine in the summer make a reservation!

Google
Visited here for dinner a few days ago, and absolutely loved it. More details below, but first, a quick summary. Drinks are all excellent. Food is very well cooked and all worth what they charge. Some dishes feel a little held back by the dedication to vegan ingredients. General thoughts: - Service was very attentive; I drink a ton of water and almost never had an empty glass, despite the small cups here. - Minor thing, but very important to me - the straws are waxed paper. They don't pollute like the plastic ones, and they don't stick to your lips and feel gross like the cheap paper ones. Super happy with these, please never change them. A little more granular, dish by dish - starting with drinks: - the Georgia On My Mind is my favorite drink here or anywhere on the island. It's very well balanced, and the pecan syrup gives it some delicious complexity. Will order this every time I come here. - the Yankee Swap is also very good, with great ube flavor that is strong, but doesn't quite overpower the rest. - the Careless Whisper wasn't our favorite. We thought it was good, but tasted a little too much like cough syrup. We think the IPA syrup's hoppiness was a little too much for the grapefruit. For small plates: - the asparagus flatbread was perfect. Cheese melted into the bread, which was very flaky. A little more arugula than we needed, but we all enjoyed this one. - the dumplings were very good, though for the price they could have brought a few more of their friends. Flavor was excellent, but we felt the wraps didn't bind quite right without the egg - slight downside to the vegan cooking. - the butternut soup was disappointing, even for someone who loves butternut. Was a little thin, could have used some cream to thicken and improve the flavor. Flavor was also a little one-dimensional, which we feel could be helped by adding just a little bit of red pepper or some other herbs. Finally, on the mains - - Chicken pot pie was unreservedly great. Not crazy special ingredients, just really well executed. Bigger portion than most of the things here, too, if that's of interest. - Salmon Wellington was very good, well seasoned and delicious. Unique dish, worth a try for sure. Maybe could use a dab more sauce? Happy with this one, too. Desserts we had were all worth it. I'm pretty adamant this has been the best restaurant I've been to in Martha's Vineyard. Looking forward to see how they evolve over time!

Yelp
Amazing customer service Food 12/10 Will definitely be back Drinks were amazing Cozy atmosphere

Yelp
Disappointed after seeing all the positive reviews. Guess if you don't want seafood you come here. But aside from the meatballs, food was bleh. Atmosphere was nice. Waitress got our order wrong even though we had pointed it out on the menu to her. No real apology and we saw her telling the manager who also didn't say or do anything. She did offer us a lemoncello shot at the end but at that point we were done and just wanted to leave.
google avatar

Summey F.

Yelp
Food was incredible. I quite literally scraped the whipped feta out of the bowl with a spoon when we ran out of dippers for it. THAT good. I will say It's a little cramped inside, we could hear everything the people next to us were talking about. But even the lightning was great and the music. Service was also fantastic. The limoncello shots were on the house! If I ever get to come back to MV, I'll be coming back here 100%.

Yelp
This little spot in the bluffs is amazing and surprisingly great. It doesn't look like a spot that delivers on excellent fair but it is. Some of the most amazing drinks ever. The it ain't easy being greedy was decked out with half the glass covered in a green colored sugar coating. Looks like a drink in after 5 attire. The tequila honey dew and other flavors blend together perfectly a the new riff who dis is like a daiquiri but only in name. It is so flavorful. It is amazing flavor and the ice is stylish w a pineapple imprint and an aloe leaf. Service was excellent with owner and manager were working the floor. This is a must and book early and get reservations to get in. The secret's out!

Yelp
The food is remarkable. Farm fresh with taste!! Atmosphere is fantastic and the service is very attentive. A fabulous find

Yelp
The singular greatest things on the menu: any cocktail, the chicken pot pie, the strawberry shortcake. Everything else is mid to meh. Our Brussels were so charred, they only tasted burnt. Her Korean BBQ tacos were under-stuffed, a bit gristly, and didn't pop with gojuchang flavors. Plus, there was a bit of a frenetic energy in the house with glasses breaking and people with reservations getting the third-degree on whether or not they were there for their spots. I think there's much to be said for this intimate dining space i n the heart of downtown OB, but I can honestly attest your mileage may vastly differ. Stick with the cocktails, pot pies and desserts, and hope for a limoncello before the check. Vegans - many options for you, my bebes!

Yelp
This place was amazing. My family sat on the beach debating on where to go for dinner, and a stranger overheard us and encouraged us to try The Pawnee House. She recommended the strawberry shortcake specifically. So we went and I had the ibimi flip, the salmon Wellington and the strawberry shortcake. It was perfection.

Greg S.

Yelp
The food was amazing and the service was outstanding! My wife and I shared the whipped feta as an appetizer and it was outstanding! I would highly recommend trying The Pawnee House but a reservation is helpful as the restaurant is pretty small.

Yelp
Wonderful! Attentive staff--they were really interested in the customers having a good experience. Many inspired vegetarian and vegan choices and delicious non-vegetarian choices. I had the vegan pot pie. The broth and crust were phenomenal. My dining partner had the souvlaki which was also delicious. Everything was well seasoned, cooked to perfection (tender root vegetables in the pot pie without being overcooked), and ingredients were top quality. Reasonable prices for MV and especially for the quality. May go back again before leaving. This will become part of the regular rotation.

Yelp
The food choices were so good. Wait staff excellent. Plan to return next summer! Drink menu was great.

Yelp
We visited The Pawnee House last fall, and it was awesome! We started off with some cocktails. We ordered Highland Sling and Sour Monkey. They were strong and had a great flavor. Off to a great start! We ordered Charred Shishito Peppers with Chipotle Aioli to share. It was a nice portion, great for sharing! This dish went great with the cocktails. Really enjoyed the aioli, too. For the main, we ordered Salmon Wellington and Chicken Pot Pie. The presentation was great, and everything was simply perfect. We totally LOVED these dishes! We ordered just one more drink, called The Jaime. Love the pineapple flavor, so tasty! After the dinner, we ordered the French Press, and that had about 4 cups and a half of coffee. For dessert, we chose Southern Strawberry Shortcake. It was incredible! If you are a fan of strawberry shortcake, you really want to try this one! We had an AMAZING dinner here. The staff (possibly one of the owners?) was super friendly, welcoming, and warm. We enjoyed everything! I still dream about the food and dessert (and cocktails too!). I would definitely go back again for more the next time we go to Martha's Vineyard!

Yelp
Best vegan chocolate cake and overall one of our favorite Martha's Vineyard restaurants. Good vegan options and non-vegan options for our group. Enjoyed our dinner and the cute ambience. Service was great, vegan chocolate cake even greater; probably the BEST we've ever had. Make sure you make a reservation as they strictly adhere to it, or at least they were the day we went. We had reservations and arrived early but were turned away and encouraged to return at our reserved time. While dining we saw them do the same to others even though there seemed to be tables but in either case; they've got a system and they like to follow it...no harm done.
google avatar

Cara T.

Yelp
Grabbed a a good cocktail at the bar here pre dinner elsewhere. Cocktails and service were great. The decor was a bit rundown. The feta appetizer we ordered was over salted. Would return to try their vegan fair which looks plentiful.

Yelp
You heard it here first - a local told us this was the best restaurant on island and we agree! We tried to get a ressy and there was a waitlist we put ourselves on and got in for a later dinner. It was so WORTH IT! It's a small spot with a small menu, so you know its good. Everything was delicious - food, apps, cocktails, service, aesthetic! Highly recommend. It's also in a great location to bop around after or before for another drink or snack.
google avatar

Yelp
The Pawnee house has a cute vibe. It is not too hot inside like some restaurants on the island. If you are vegan or gluten free I would recommend coming here, they have a lot of options for that type of food. Everything is pretty light and vegetable heavy so keep that in mind. Service was good, everything came out pretty efficiently. There is also a bar area for drinks.
google avatar

Yelp
How I have not yet written a review for our favorite restaurant on MV? The owners of the Pawnee put their heart and soul into every aspect of their restaurant and it shows in the atmosphere, service, and most importantly, the food! With vegan and vegetarian offerings, everyone can find something delicious here. I've tried almost every dish but find myself going back for the Chicken Pot Pie. It never disappoints! If you haven't been to the Pawnee House yet, you're missing out. When you do go, get reservations because this place is popular and rightfully so! Pictures include the chicken pot pie, salmon wellington, beet stack, 'crab' cake, and brunch dishes.

Yelp
The Pawnee House is one of the best restaurants to visit when vacationing in Oak Bluffs. Alex is a chef owner and makes sure that you are extremely comfortable throughout the meal. The service is amazing and you can get a variety of healthy dishes combined with vegan options. The seafood is always extremely fresh and locally caught. I sat at the bar and had an amazing time.. I had a vegan pot pie, which was incredible and the most amazing strawberry shortcake I have ever had. The vegan and plant-based drinks are amazing. The menu of drinks is so creative and all of them are amazing. I visit every year and I plan to come back in 2025.

Yelp
I would drive 1.5hr and take an hour long ferry just to eat here again. The service was delightful, personable and fun. Everyone of our meals was outstanding, not a crumb left on the plates. Make a reservation, seating is limited.

Janet B.

Yelp
A super Vineyard place: great food, service, and ambiance. NOT a chain restaurant! Hope to try every single thing on the menu.
google avatar

Yelp
I had high hopes for the unusual and creative menu that features a mix of meat and vegan dishes... but in the end, this was not a memorable experience. Across the board, our party of four agreed that our dishes were, for the most part, simply ok and not repeat-worthy. I had rice and beans with fried okra which was satisfying. (3.5 stars) The others in our party had Korean tacos. All agreed that the portions looked like super expensive appetizers and two of three left the restaurant hungry. They noted that the tortillas tasted undercooked. (2 stars) As a shared side, we had sugar snap peas. They were incredibly small and nearly inedible as we had to scrape the peas out of the pods with our teeth. (1 star) The one highlight was the stellar service.

Yelp
We've been before, and the food is consistently solid every time we come. We started with both the burrata and the asparagus Gruyère tart. Both appetizers were delicious. The burrata was served on a bed of arugula with a truffle balsamic, which I thought came together excellently. The tart itself is mostly puff pastry with cheese and asparagus on top, but was equally great. Neither of them were filling, which is always a good sign for an appetizer in my book. This time I got the Rice and Bean bowl with blackened fluke. The fish was tasty, and there were some good flavors in the beans and toppings. There are a TON of beans in the bowl though with a comparatively little amount of everything else, so after not much it becomes a bit homogeneous and boring. I wouldn't recommend it unless you really love beans. The rest of the table had the polenta stack, vegan pot pie, and normal chicken pot pie. We got the fried polenta last year and everyone loved it just as much this year (though I think it's a bit oily). The vegan pot pie was great, with a strong beurre blanc flavor. The chicken pot pie was also good, though surprisingly I think a tiny bit worse than the vegan alternative, due to the sheer amount of chicken vs rest of the filling. For dessert we got the strawberry shortcake, banana pudding, peaches with cream, and affogato. I personally loved the affogato the most, but the rest of the table was torn between the strawberry shortcake and peaches. I think it's impossible to wrong with any of them, however. Service is very nice and personable, and the kitchen paced the food really well so we were never overwhelmed. It is pretty pricy (though not uncommon for the middle of Oak B), but something to keep in mind if you care. My rice and beans were a 3, but the rest of the food was a 4 or 5. We'll likely be back, though, so looking forward to trying something else!

Yelp
Well hush my puppies, this place is the real deal. Fresh, delicious food, friendly service and perfect location. Wish I could come back every night!!

Robert S.

Yelp
Just finished Sunday brunch. The Stuffed French Toast was quite tasty as were the home fried potatoes. Everyone was friendly, attentive but in a very relaxing way. We'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Nadia R.

Yelp
Service and food are absolutely top notch. Owners went way above and beyond for our anniversary. Everything was amazing
google avatar

Gretel V.

Yelp
Everything we tried was delicious and filling. I just wish we had more space to keep eating other menu items. We walked in during dinner on Sunday and although there wasn't any space for us the host was kind enough to squeeze us in so we could eat before our ferry left. All the staff was very nice and attentive. Love the vive inside. Highly recommend this place plus it has tons of vegetarian options.
google avatar

Mariah G.

Yelp
The Pawnee house has tons of vegetarian and vegan options! We went for a birthday and had the most amazing cocktails--highly recommend (especially the one with ube). We had a few appetizers including the burrata and shoshito peppers with some really great chipotle Mayo followed by chicken pot pie, vegan curry pot pie, the asparagus Gruyère tart (delicious but light), and salmon Wellington. They really love puff pastry and so did we! We had vegan chocolate cake with very impressive vegan frosting, strawberry shortcake that was mind blowing, and some very yummy banana pudding. The place is small with a cozy, upscale ambience. Service isn't super speedy but it is very friendly! Overall, highly recommend, particularly if you have a mix of vegans, vegetarians, and meat-eaters in your group!
google avatar

Yelp
Wow - great dining experience. Owners took a small space and turned it into beautiful restaurant- great vibe!! The service was friendly and efficient and the Food was phenomenal. The gruyere tart was great as was their signature dish - Salmon Wellington.... ending with strawberry shortcake. Also short rib tacos were spot on The reviews so far are accurate 5 Star

Yelp
Had a fantastic dinner this summer very comfortable inside. never felt rushed, engaging wait staff fun cocktails, and the food was fantastic. Whipped feta and "crab cakes" to start. I had the salmon Wellington and my husband had the sausage beans and rice. We finished with the best strawberry shortcake I've ever had in my life. We will be back for sure.

Yelp
Cute, personal, and intimate. The owners of this restauraunt are always working as waiters and are so friendly and accommodating! We had come last years for a 59th birthday in our family, and then came again today! We love their exquisite mixed drinks, appetizers and entrees. They have so many vegan and gluten free options for our family! We got: -curry flatbread -brussel sprouts -meatballs -puff pastry (mushroom and smoked Gouda) -chicken pot pie -red bean and rice with andouille sausage -vegan crab cakes (THE GIRLS ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS!!!!) As always, we love your restauraunt and will be back again next year.

Yelp
The Pawnee House is hidden in plain sight across the walkway from the Backdoor Donut. The decor is quaint, intimate and comfortable. It is simplicity in the midst of Oak Bluffs activity. The menu is eclectic and simple at the same time. The journey commenced with the cocktails and starters -- stacked beets with cheese and the heirloom tomatoes with Baratta. The entrees (Salmon Wellington and Chicken Pot Pie) were hearty and scrumptious. The temperature was perfect and the taste was full bodied. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to come back.

Srs- G.

Yelp
Delicious food with vegan choices, friendly and good service, comfortable seating at the bar as well as tables.

Brad C.

Yelp
Food was great. Beautiful and tasteful place. Drinks were amazing and the bartender great! My foodie 10 year old gives it 5 stars.
google avatar

Andrew G.

Yelp
A bit of a hidden secret. Staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. No better hospitality on the island. Chef is very talented. Be sure not to miss the chicken pot pie. Exceptional! Atmosphere has lots of character.
google avatar

Gabriel F.

Yelp
Stopped here for an early-ish dinner with another couple night before the Martha's Vineyard Marathon. We started with crab cakes, roasted brussel sprouts, and a mushroom and onion tart. Everyone LOVED the crab cakes. Despite being a little overly roasted, the brussel sprouts were pretty good. The mushroom and onion tart was kinda weird. I really enjoyed my Korean BBQ Tacos. They were small so make sure you order the third taco when the waitress offers it to you. Another member of our group had the mushroom polenta. She said it was a little oily but good none the less. My wife had the best entrée; the Salmon Wellington with fingerling potatoes. That was really good.

Al G.

Yelp
A SUCCESS EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! Incredible fresh food always, and such a cozy environment. Overall 10/10 experience.

Yelp
What an awesome experience!! From our craft cocktails to appetizers and dinner!! Service was excellent and such a cute place!! Have to go!

Yelp
Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Has something for everyone, including vegan dishes. A must go to when visiting Oak Bluffs!

Yelp
My family goes to MV the week after Labor Day as it is quiet, tranquil, less people, and absolutely beautiful. Almost perfect weather although the water might be too cold for a swim, but its fine. However, a new best secret for us was the discovery of Pawnee Restaurant in Oak Bluffs. This spot is the bomb and both the service and food was ideal. It truly gets 5/5 stars. The dishes aren't many but they are delightful and flavorful. And the dessert...yummy as we dove into the strawberry shortcake on a biscuit which too, was to die for. Lastly....Tabatha....what an amazing personality especially with her Aussie ascent! She championed service at its very best. Sadly...it was back to Charlotte, NC but with smiles on our faces after that last wonderful meal at Pawnee...thank you! Ken Flamer

Bruce K.

Yelp
Of all the hype places in the Vineyard in Oak Bluffs. This is the one that lives up to the expectations extraordinary creativity in the menu affords many options for those that prefer a plant-based diet without sacrificing enjoy ability and flavor. The service was top-notch, we were greeted by the owner and by the extraordinary Tabitha From Australia. They even remembered us from our visit last year. It has a great ambience with a small space, open and airy. With the off shore, breeze wafting in, one really felt they were on an island vacation. We will definitely be back this year on our return visit in September and of course, next summer again!

Yelp
Being a vegetarian, it can be hard to find a fine restaurant on MV that features more than one option or one that is not pasta/pizza/salad. The Pawnee House was a welcome change of pace. Restaurant has a modern feel with nice ambience. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Tables were nicely spaced apart and food was excellent. Fried green tomatoes, vegan bowl, and polenta were all delicious. And so was the strawberry shortbread dessert. A truly perfect dinner on MV. Looking forward to visiting again.
google avatar

Helik S.

Yelp
After perusing all the MV restaurants on yelp we almost gave up: even the good ones had many awful reviews. One place stood out with a solid perfect five stars so we headed straight there. We are not going to break the streak. Amazing farm to table food, great cocktails, real good people- Alex, one of the owners was accommodating and working the floor, ensuring everyone was having a great time and Olive, a sweet and friendly host/server came by a few times to make sure we were fine, she was genuinely warm and cheerful. The place is small, cozy and has an understated beach vibe. The bar area was busy with groups. We came for dinner and were drawn to the farm to table theme of the Pawnee. The menu is limited by design, but plenty to choose from the appetizers, main courses and craft cocktails. We opted to 'drink' our appetizers by having a couple of Hemingway cocktails made with top shelf ingredients, topped with an orange peel-delicious! For the main courses we had the Salmon Wellington and the shiitake mushrooms over spinach and smokey polenta. Both were amazing and finely done. We finished with the strawberry dessert that was big enough for two. It had a light and fluffy biscuit made with specialty flour from SC. To top it off, Alex offered complimentary limoncellos as we were celebrating our anniversary. A memorable evening that we will repeat next time we are on island.
google avatar

Greg S.

Yelp
We LOVE this place! It's not just the food but also the dining experience that makes this restaurant shine above the rest. They have an email/automated system for reservations which works great. I emailed them in the morning and was able to get a same day reservation which is hard to do in the summer months on island. Service is on spot, the bartender is experienced, and the food is delicious. We had martinis and Manhattan's. The bartender definitely knows how to make a cocktail. We had the asparagus gruyere cheese tart as a starter. It was a nice blend of vegetables and cheese on a flaky, fresh crust. Having had the chicken pot pie previously, we both opted for the dish this night and it does not disappoint. The chicken seems to be rotisserie chicken; it has chunky vegetables, just even tasty gravy, and a perfect crust topping. It's not just about the food but also about the experience. If you find yourself on Martha's Vineyard and you're looking for an awesome dinner experience, go to The Pawnee House. You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Phenomenal, as all the reviewers so far have agreed. The Pawnee House has a small menu of very well designed and executed small plates. For starters we had the Gruyere tart which was really special, the Burratta and arugula salad which was very good. The Curried Flatbread had a great depth of flavor and the Shishito Peppers were very good and we enjoyed them, but they're not much better than most other places and I would recommend something more creative when at a place of this caliber. The Korean tacos were fabulous, an explosion of flavors. Just be aware there are only two small tacos so order more small plates as needed I would suggest they go to three tacos or move it to the small plates section of the menu. The Salmon Wellington was very good, but I didn't love it as much as most reviewers. Cocktails were amazing. Just a fantastic selection of balanced and creative cocktails. Service was efficient but brief, which made sense as the one waitperson was taking care of all 8 (?) tables with help from the owner.

Ryan Y.

Yelp
Nice ambiance. Staff were welcoming. Ordered the vegan crab cake and they were pretty good. I was shocked. But they were pretty small. My wife ordered the salmon Wellington which she said was fine. I liked it. I got the daily catch of the day blackened with salad. They give a huge salad so that's great but half my fish was not cooked. I sent it back and asked them to please cook the other side. The blackened seasoning was good but lacked salt. I guess I hoped they would provide a dessert or be more apologetic about the raw fish. The food was fine. Nothing that I would say blew my mind which with these high ratings I was cautiously hoping for. I really wish I left with more of a positive and happy overall experience.

Yelp
Reservations are a must during the summer season. The rib tacos and beet salad were delicious and I will be back to try the rest of the menu! The atmosphere is quaint with a MV vibe. Items are locally sourced.

Yelp
We had a very nice experience overall at the Pawnee House, although the dinner portions were on the small side. The food was very good, with fresh ingredients from local farms -and quite simple. I was very excited about eating here as I had heard it was a great new vegan-friendly option on MV, but was a little underwhelmed by the limited menu for my plant-based husband who is allergic to mushrooms. He got two sides: the brussel sprouts and fingerling potatoes. Anyway, we will gladly try again in the future, and hope the menu perhaps expands a bit before we come back next year.
