"This restaurant has perfected the art of business casual with its polished interior and concise, classical menu. Salads and light bites include seared tuna with sesame, watermelon, and ginger, which can also be ordered sized-up as a main, and the artichoke soup with hazelnut, rapeseed, and sourdough. Go for the food, but stay for the cocktails, which are a mix of experimental creations, interpretations of the latest trends and twists on classics. Try the “Forager’s Tale,” a concoction of mushroom-infused gin, velvet falernum, truffle, lemon, honey, and Parmesan, and the “Fireplace,” with Dead Man’s Fingers spiced rum, mazana liquor, caramel, and lemon." - Shekha Vyas

Visited this as part of a networking dinner. The waiters are very attentive. I didn't have cocktails but my colleagues who did were very happy. Let's talk about the food. I give the snacks, starters and the desert a thumbs up but I can't say the same about the mains. The whipped feta and bread was lovely. The tuna starter was wonderful. My colleagues had the prawns and were happy too but when you move to the mains, If you look at the plating and consider the taste it honestly feels like two different kitchens at play. My colleagues shared a similar view. Risotto was overpowered by lemon so couldn't get other flavours, octopus was a little overcooked and rice itself undercooked. The triple cooked chips were not really triple cooked. The chicken burger was a little dry and the kimchi leeks which was my personal interest was minimal. I can't comment on the other mains as those are the ones our table had. But if the same love was given to the mains as the starters and desert I would definitely be a fan.

Such a gem of a place with delicious food, amazing cocktails and lovely staff. Went for the comedy and live music night and it was such a fun evening, the atmosphere was great! Have been a previous time and had very gramable cocktails too!

Well designed restaurant with a great view. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Food was good and reasonably priced. Would go again.

Nice place for drinks but distinctly average food. My chicken was quite bland and uninspiring (as was my guests). I do feel that it's outclassed by other places in the Wharf. Complained to the manager later and was told I was wrong (!).

Had a fantastic lunch at The Pearson Room this week, far exceeded my expectations having never eaten there and my new favourite place to take clients. Starters were particularly delicious but all the food and drink was on point. One thing I really enjoyed, compared to some other venues in the Wharf where the tables are rammed in close together, is the open and airy feel of the place. It's just a nice place to spend a couple of hours. Staff very attentive. Well deserved 5 stars. Keep it up!

We had an excellent breakfast in wonderful surroundings up there (at the 2nd floor, keep looking, you'll find it... eventually). The staff was very friendly and made us feel comfortable. The food (we had pancake) seemed at first scarce but was actually sufficient. The plus is definitely the toilets which are a must see if you can beat the maze. It's a good place to treat yourself.

Nice atmosphere and view of the CW Square. Had the Tuna steak during my visit which didn't seem very fresh to be honest. 😭

Yelp
Went for drinks and bar snack with colleagues, and we left a happy gang. I had two glasses of the tiramisu martini, which I really enjoyed. It wasn't too sweet and was a delightful glass of classy martini with a twist. We ordered a few different types of bar snack, all of which were solid. I particularly enjoyed the calamari and sausages; the sliders and chicken wings were also decent. Service was prompt, which was impressive given how busy things quickly became. Ambience was also good, though it did get loud toward the end of the evening. All in all, a good place to unwind at after work.

Yelp
Out the floor-to-ceiling windows you get lost looking at Canada Square. Which makes one lean towards the name Pearson being named after Canada's own, The Right Honourable Lester Pearson, but then I pause midway through my second wonderful cocktail - this one made with home brewed espresso-whiskey and I think, "It can't be named after him, it's named for her!" For Maryon Pearson married a great man of great worldly achievements (a Noble Peace prize among them) Her most famous quote is perhaps : "Behind every successful man, there stands a surprised woman." And that is all I can think of while digging into my delicious cherry sundae. For like Maryon, The Pearson Room finds its self settled up next to a great Canadian (the Square of course) and it's full of surprises! Wonderful, delectable, tasty, palate pleasing surprises!

Yelp
I came here with a colleague from work to try the restaurant during their soft opening. We got a 25% discount on the meal and there was no service charge (even when we tried to leave a tip, the waiter said that we couldn't). I had the Cheese Burger with rosemary fries and my colleague had the Lobster Club Sandwich. I was happy with my burger and I got a lot of fries (possibly too much, even!). However, I can think of other places where I could get a nicer burger which is less expensive. The Lobster Club sandwich looked nice to me. A skim of the menu reveals a lot of other options which sound delicious. One is Smoked Mozzarella & Purple Aubergine Lasagne and another is Coal Baked Potato, Pearson Beans, Wild Boar Bacon, Monterey Jack. The service from the time you enter the restaurant until you get the bill needs polishing, but they should improve over time. They were a bit too keen - when we arrived and let them know we had a booking, two people were talking to us and it was confusing. It is in a great location on the 2nd floor above the Waitrose in Canary Wharf - convenient for everyone who works in that area.

Yelp
very nice location overlooking the square. However the acoustic is very bad - we were sitting at a table and not be able to hear the people in front of us (not for the music but just because the place is really loud and the tables are quite large too), I think they are a bit understaffed, the brought us the meat platter after the fish platter and it was of course meant to be the other way round! I was not paying but I guess the food is quite expensive too (and if it is then it is not worth it!) overall I give a 3 just for the location which is very cool

Yelp
A colleague and I stopped by here the day it opened and ended up having a whole meal. It was a very nice space above the Waitrose - definitely better than anticipated. I had heard of the impending opening and trumpeted the news around the office - we were all looking forward to a new option in the Wharf. Food was good but not mind-blowing. Drinks were okay. We'll see how the place develops. Pearson Room is below Plateau but slightly narrower. So, while Plateau divides its space length-wise between the bar and the dining area, Pearson Room divides its space into first the bar area and then past it is the dining room. There are a few cool seating arrangements with a low table and high backed chairs that seem to be the segue between the two areas. Our meal was very nice overall and we will come by again, given the proximity to our office.

Yelp
Fantastic place to meet friends for a coffee, after-work drink, or after exercise dinner! Service and food are both excellent. The menu is quite varied; there is something for everyone. If you are gluten intolerant, the choices are plentiful! The staff are all well educated about food allergies and most helpful. They will even make you special gluten free cheese bread, which is quite delicious. Good selection of wines and beers. Atmosphere is unique -- sort of a fishbowl view of Canary Wharf Business District. Lunch and Breakfast are also served. I have not had the chance to go during those hours, but my guess is that it is also very good. I highly recommend this restaurant to you.
