Google
On Sanibel Island with lots of great places to eat The Pecking Order keeps coming up in "Ten best places to eat." searches. I must admit I was intrigued. The chicken is deep fried under pressure and it is moist, tender and juicy. The mashed potatoes are fresh and the gravy is really tasty too. Grab a big side called the Harlem special. It's a layer of black eyed peas, layer of rice on top of collard greens. The chef means business with this much goodness. You can eat there on the porch or we chose to take ours back to the condo. Great eats!

Google
Fabulous! The Harlem special is incredibly good and the fried chicken was fresh out of the fryer. We were the first customers in that morning. The owners are extremely friendly. This is one of the best meals that we have had on Sanabel island!

Google
Chicken was delicious. I generally judge chicken by flavor, cripsy texture, and how juicy the white meat is as it tends to be more dry than other pieces of chicken and this place has some of the best fried chicken from a restaurant. Service was quick and staff was very friendly with the owner chatting with us. If you like collard greens I definitely recommend them! We tried the Harlem special and enjoyed every bit of it.

Nee S.

Google
I enjoy their food. I fully support this restaurant not just because of their food but I am part Haitian and to know the owners have a passion for Haiti makes it all the more reason to support.

Google
I did not expect to be going to a chicken restaurant on Sanibel but I did and I am glad I went. Easy to get to. The plumpest chicken breasts I have ever been been served and also had the fried okra which was good. Like I said, glad I went and I will be back.

Daniel G.

Google
Want fried chicken? This is the best place on the island to get it. We got the 12 piece meal with 2 sides. We did get an extra side because it was 3 of us. More than enough for 3-4 people to share. Crispy chicken and juicy with plenty of side dressing to go - many are made by them. The price was $$, but well worth it. Surprise was the wings were still attached to the breast which made it for me. Like that as shows definitely prepared onsite.

Google
The fried chicken was as good as my moms, and that's saying alot..the chicken nuggets delicious, they weren't overcooked, definitely fresh not frozen' ..homemade nuggets" the sides were hot and tasty, the biscuit soft and fresh..price wasn't cheap, but not so high you couldn't afford to eat..price was average to other restaurants.. I would definitely recommend this place, seafood is great, but change it up, I live on a barrier Island in NC so seafood isnt all I look for, so finding this great chicken place was a plus, service was quick, courteous and clean...cant wait to come back again..til then have a prosperous New Year, and keep up the awesome chicken"..

Google
I’m sorry to give this place a 3/5 but if you’re going to specialize in pie your crust should be amazing and theirs was sadly not. Hard and cracker thin, not light and flaky, everything a crust should be to build the foundation of your pie. We had the Buckeye and Coconut Cream Pies and really did enjoy the Buckeye with the chocolate crumb crust, hence the 3 stars, but the Coconut cream tasted like a pudding from a box and well, the crust.

Yelp
Bridgit's pies are being sold at Island Gifts @ 1609 Periwinkle (in front of the store). The sweetest ladies have set up shop. Please stop by! I tried a mini key lime pie. It was DELICIOUS! I hope to visit Sanibel Island again. What a beautiful place & what kind, sweet, resilient people.

Yelp
I picked up some chicken here on a trip to Sanibel it's a very small place with no tables inside so I took the food home. Before leaving I loaded up on a bunch of sauces they made in house. The chicken had a nice crunch which is what I really want. Juicy inside and no complaints from me. The biscuits were pretty normal. Where they were able to stand out was when you added their spicy maple sauce. Nice sweetness and a real big heat kick at the end. The Mac was nice and creamy with a cheddar flavor. Probably the best side I had there.

Yelp
Who thought we'd stop at a fried chicken place on Sanibel Island? We come from Texas, an area that is known to be competitive with fried chicken. The Pecking Order is definitely at the top of my list. Cute beachy vibe. Friendly people. All of their food is fresh & homemade. Impressive. On our last day visiting the Island we made a second stop for a chicken dinner. Small talk led to trying their raspberry rhubarb pie. Never had it. Never heard of it, lol. When we got back to our vacation home is was devoured in 3 minutes. It was like raspberry jam, nothing about it tasted rustic like it sounds. Sweet, delicious, simple crust. Wow! Thanks Pecking Order for the experience. You're a hard act to follow.

Yelp
I'm a1/2 year resident of Sanibel (snowbird) Sanibel is home to a number of 5 star restaurants, a few of which did not survive hurricane Ian. I was happy to learn that Pecking Order will reopen at a new location. Even with all the great food available, there are times when take out fried chicken is the only thing that will hit the spot. Pecking Order chicken is a measure above what the mainland the chains serve. highly recommended.

Yelp
As a fried chicken lover, I wanted to be sure to visit The Pecking Order while I was on Sanibel. Doing so proved a bit difficult. The first day I went, I checked times on their website - which said they were open - but after driving 1/2 hour from the other end of the island, a paper sign on the door said they were closed. So we went to lunch elsewhere. The next day I distrusted their website and called their phone when they were supposed to be open, but there was no answer and no message. So I again made plans to eat elsewhere. Then, as I drove past on the way to that meal I saw they were in fact open - so in I went. The interior is just a counter, with no indoor seating. There are a few chairs at a bench just outside, which was space enough for me to eat as it was not a busy time. The menu is simple - fried chicken in many configurations, a good range of southern sides and a few desserts. The store also has a wide range of interesting sauces in giant containers for dipping and added flavour. Most of them were spicy. Service was prompt and friendly - with my order delivered only a few minutes after I placed it. Service is only in to-go containers, even if you sit at the bench outside. The chicken pieces here are very large compared to most other fried chicken places. I ordered 3 pieces, but even two would have been more than I could have eaten. The meat was moist and tender, but the breading was a little bland for my taste. I ordered a side of fries, but sadly they were not fresh cut and were just fine but nothing special. Overall, this was a decent experience but not amazing. I might try this place again if I was back on Sanibel, but it wouldn't be top of my list.

Yelp
Crisp and flavorful fried chicken. We ordered takeout for the family. We ordered chicken soup, a chicken bucket with one side and a side of okra. The Mac and cheese and okra were ok. The chicken and chicken soup were delicious. We sampled some of there sauces too. Definitely worth coming back!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Finger licking good...wow!! The chicken was super crunchy and juicy...when dunked in their wide selection of dipping sauces, yum yum yum...house wing sauce, jerk bbq sauce, spicy bourbon sauce were fav dips that stood out for me...combined with the Smokey greens, beans and rice side dish...ended the dinner with coconut pie and almond fried pie...food nirvana...will definitely come back for more...staff was very helpful in recommending their favs...thank you!

Yelp
Chicken- amazing!!! Mashed potatoes- okay. Gravy- amazing!! Shells And cheese- amazingly cheesy! Slaw- skip, ewwwh. Baked beans- good. Strawberry rubato pie- omg amazing. Counter area to eat or take to go. We took ours back to the room. We got an 8 piece plus the above mentioned sides. There are 3 of us. No joke 2 if not 3 meals worth. For a country girl, I must say I was very impressed with this chicken !!!

Yelp
I had heard good things about this place, so one evening we made the trek out to sanibel to check it out. We called in the order ahead, but still ended up waiting about 15 minutes once we got there. Don't let the potential wait deter you though, friends. This place is the real deal. First, let me start by saying that you definitely want to get their cornbread. I like cornbread quite a bit and consider myself something of a connoisseur and this is some of the best cornbread I've ever had. It is buttery and just a little sweet. It's really good. Second, make sure you take advantage of their sauce selection which is set off to the side over by the drink machine. The sauces really enhanced the meal. The chicken itself is superb. Perfectly cooked with a nice crispy outer shell and a perfectly juicy interior. The skin was delicious and the meat was very flavorful. I tried a number of different sauce combos, but what I ultimately fell in love with was the buffalo sauce with the garlic vinegar. I poured the garlic vinegar over the chicken, gave it a little salt bath, and then dipped it into the buffalo sauce. It was addictively good, and I'm getting hungry now just thinking about it. I would encourage you to play around with the sauce choices to find your winning combo. This place was fantastic and everyone in my family enjoyed it. The kids really loved the mac and cheese & my wife really enjoyed the rice and beans. I honestly don't think you can go wrong here though. We didn't even get to try their pies. Next time, because I saw a sweet potato pie that was calling my name behind the counter....

Yelp
Stop listening to Yelp internet assassins. 1 star and less?? Are you kidding ? I am a huge huge fan of comfort food. Love Sanibel and Captiva... I made an intentional trip to Pecking Order to have lunch. Awesome experience. Brian and I ordered a bunch of fried chicken (love dark meat) and ordered some white breast meat. Damn...... the chicken was juicy and delicious and the sides are killer on top. Like KFC ? Are you kidding? These people have no business talking about restaurants. The staff is awesome, the sides incredible... defiantly try their sauces. And the "pies" Buckeye Pie was incredible. Dump the hatters

Yelp
As they say, winner, winner, chicken dinner! And what a winner this is. Great fried chicken. It's a take out place, so we did a little picnic on beautiful Sanibel Island. They do have a little bar type seating area out front, but being 94 degrees, we took cover in the shade. The chicken was great. So moist and perfectly fried. Not the slightest bit greasy. And did I mention how moist it was. The chicken was just a tad salty, but the flavor was great. We had two sides. The first was their Mac n cheese. So good. Actually one of the best I've had. I think it had some garlic in which was a nice surprise and the flavors really came out. Yum. We also had their red potatoes and gravy. Creamy and delish, although again, the gravy was a bit salty. I would still get these again. Finally, we had one of their small pies. So good. We had their peach pie. The crust was flaky and buttery and the filing was just right. This is a must to top off a great meal. If you're on the island and aren't in a seafood/fish mood, 100% go here.
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
Nicer less expensive meal option on Sanibel. Are you in the mood for chicken? Here you will find fried chicken and the sides that you know and love including mashed potatoes, potato salad, cheese grits, baked beans, and greens just to name a few. How about biscuits and corn bread? And chicken and waffles. Here ya go! This ones for you. Don't forget your chicken couple picture and don't forget to bang all the little buttons with sayings. If not, "you're fired! " you will get it when you bang on the buttons. Are you thirsty from hitting the beach? Find some beer and cider options and of course some soda options(pop if you are from the Midwest. One thing about this place is minimum seating inside. Four bar stools to be exact. You can sit outside on the outside barstools.... you will have a beautiful view.... the parking lot! But hey you saved money for this one so enjoy the pretty view later!

Yelp
I LOVE THIS PLACE. We had chicken, biscuits, coleslaw, fries, Mac and cheese, and corn bread. Everything was outstanding. We ate here 3 years ago and was so happy to see they made it through the pandemic!!! If you are on the island you MUST have at least one meal here. And if you want to buy some property, I heard the owner's daughter is a realtor!
google avatar

Kenny G.

Yelp
This place is amazing, if you want the best fried chicken on the island you must give them a visit PS the homemade biscuits are crazy good Nothing fancy just great food and cool people !!
google avatar

William R.

Yelp
One of our fav restaurants on the island. Addictive fried chicken done to perfection. Be sure to get the Harlem special for a side. A wonderful array of sauces. We always get the Buffalo. Ask for the green sauce for a real treat. Bridget's homemade pies are fantastic, in case you still have room after the chicken. Ask the owners about their work in Haiti too! 5* = incredible (rare) 4* = very good/ strong desire to return 3* = generally good experience 2* = poor/ no desire to return 1* = a particularly awful experience

Yelp
Soul food lures me in every time! Small lobby; order at the counter and fix your own drink. The 'Noon Quickie' with fried chicken and a biscuit is probably the most popular lunch , and it is GOOD. Make that GREAT FRIED CHICKEN. The mac & cheese is made w real cheese of course - no powdered cheese packet here. I eat Chicken & Waffles all over the country, so of course I had to try it here. It was not bad, but the waffle was a bit spongy. I bet they cook a lot of waffles in advance - to get ready for the lunch rush. At least, the nice lady added gravy for me (I like cream gravy on my C&W's)! Not the best C&W I've had this month - but this is the only C&W on Sanibel - and they even have a clock on the wall set to Harlem time (birthplace of C&W)! Clarification: the food currently referred to as 'soul food,' is the same food that poor Southern country people have eaten for the past 150 years. Maybe it has nothing to do with race - and everything to do with being poor in the south. All I know for sure is that when I see a soul-food sign, I stop to eat!

Yelp
Overall great experience. Order was made efficiently, ready when we arrived, bagged well and not messy at all. The fried chicken was very tasty, juicey and the breading was crisp and seasoned well. The sides were a great match up. I highly recommend the mashed potatoes and Harlem Street special. Sooo good. We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Richard R.

Yelp
Food was excellent and recommendations were as well. Get you a two piece or a bucket. The Spicy Bourbon sauce was very good. The chicken does not taste like the Colonel made it but it does not NOT have that same flavor either. I would choose this spot over any chain restaurants in a heartbeat. Worth the trip if in the area.
google avatar

Kim W.

Yelp
What wonderful fried chicken! Delicious, couldn't have better fried chicken. We had the fried okra, collards, biscuits and mashed potatoes and gravy, all of which are fabulous. Make sure you get the large size sides! We also got key lime cheesecake, coconut pie and banana cream pie. We would get the banana cream again but not the others. They were just not that great. All in all, we loved this place.
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
The nasty coconut cream pie is what this review is mainly based on. Yesterday we stopped by The Pecking Order. I got the 2 piece meal and a mini coconut cream pie to-go. My order came to $19.45. The chicken tasted very similar to a certain three letter brand and didn't taste any better than drive-thru chicken. The whole meal was pretty MEH, in my opinion. The mini coconut cream pie was $9! This was THEE MOST DISGUSTING "pie" I have ever had!! I say "pie" because the crust was BARELY par-baked (the bottom was completely raw), the "coconut cream" tasted like old canned vanilla pudding mix topped with coconut flakes on the bottom & top of the "pie", and there was ZERO coconut flavor in the "pie" even with the flaked coconut on it. My Dad also ordered a mini coconut cream pie. BOTH IMMEDIATELY WENT IN THE TRASHCAN AFTER THE FIRST BITE!! I cannot believe that this pie is advertised as made fresh daily. There's no way! $18 right in the trashcan.

Yelp
Quality fried chicken on the island. We ordered takeout and it worked perfectly to throw on the table and share a bucket of chicken and endless sides. The chicken was flavorful and moist. The meat would fall off the bone and the skin was perfectly fried. The sides were average if not above average. The potatoes were fresh and the gravy was tasty. The collard greens were just average but we loved the biscuits. The corn bread was fine but nothing special. Seemed to just fall apart when you tried to break off a piece. Overall, this is a quality option on Sanibel and we will definitely grab their food again.
google avatar

Yelp
Solid Four stars. The Peking order is to-go only. They have a few seats out front of this small strip mall. The young lady taking our order was delightful. Super sweet and offered great recommendations. The fried chicken has excellent flavor. Although, for me, it was a little greasy. The mashed potatoes and gravy are fantastic. The biscuit was pretty bland but had a nice flaky texture. I also tried one of Bridgits Pie which was amazing! The crust is to die for! They also make their own sauces in house which was great to try many of them.

Yelp
So I'm going over to Sanibel for a evening out with friends and I figure I'll have a try at Pecking Order, for dinner first, because I've heard so much about how it has the best fried chicken. I read all the reviews which generally are great, and then decided to have the "mixed Chick" leg and thigh with biscuit and one side so I got the coleslaw. I'll start with the extras. Coleslaw tasted like cut up cabbage and carrots and honestly could not taste anything else added to it.... at all. A few bites and I was done. The biscuit was flaky but gummy actually, and I don't know how that's possible, but it is apparently. So the chicken: It was good but actually nothing to rave about. It was slightly warm but not hot. I ordered around 6 pm on a Friday in Summer so off season, but you'd think it would be a little more freshly made on a Friday since there were actually more people on the island than I would have guessed. I ordered and within a minute or two was given my to-go bag and ate it within a few minutes of getting iit so it's not like I had to take it a long way that it would change temperature or texture much at all. I assume it had been sitting for a while. The crispy outside was good but a little too hard and crunchy in parts, to be honest. The chicken itself was tender though. The young lady behind the counter was efficient cheerful. There were a few places to sit outdoors but at a high top bar like area on the edge of the porch. I feel like I'm being fussy here, but I'm really just being honest. I know sometimes things can be inconsistent from one visit to the next, but it's hard to try again when your first visit was just ok.
google avatar

Vera S.

Yelp
Love love love your chicken soup. It is so comforting even in the prime heat of summer. The pastries, cole slaw and macaroni are amazing. I got my islander discount which is always an added bonus. Keep up the good work! I'll be coming in as often as I am able to do so.
google avatar

Yelp
So this was interesting, although I suppose it should not have been unexpected. I've never been to a more whitebread place that bills itself as soul food. It's a takeout chicken joint that also does southern/soul sides. Having said that, though, they did a fine job with the food. The chicken itself was quite good. It was juicy and tender, with a pretty flavorful breading that clung well to the meat. Cheesy grits were just right, with smooth grits and gooey/stringy cheese all in it. The beans, rice, & greens side was a good mix. I especially enjoyed the smoky flavor of the greens mixed in there. Okra was the only letdown. It was okay, but obviously just frozen from a premade bag.
google avatar

Ronald S.

Yelp
Got a big order of chicken and sides. Chicken?: Good. Not great. Lacked a lot of flavor. If the chicken is supposed to do the talking , then I will say that the actual bird is really well picked. It's very meaty and high quality. Our chicken was a bit dry. All in all , it was good , but you're going to want to add your own flavor with sauces, etc. Mashed potatoes: really good. Wish they didn't put the gravy on it in the container. Some of us don't like gravy, some do. Give the gravy in a separate smaller container!! Mac and cheese: really good. Absolutely traditional. Nothing fancy and that's ok. The black beans and ride: not good. Way too much smoky flavor. Way too much. Took away from everything else. We didn't like it at all. Biscuits: nothing special. Good. Corn bread: EXCELLENT cheese curds: TERRIBLE GREASY FLAVORED SALT BALLS. I wish the place well, there's a great need for this on the island and I really appreciate it. I know they have a great following.

Yelp
If you like homestyle fried chicken than you better head to The Pecking Order! We drove from Marco Island to Sanibel to experience the fried chicken at TPO, they did not disappoint. Thank you Yelp reviewers you got it right. The location is smack in the middle of Sanibel Island (toll is $6 bucks)its a beautiful drive even in season. The location is small, they do have some bar stools outside and a narrow long shelf that serves a a table. Good friendly service but the star here is the melt in your mouth chicken and awesome sides. There is also over 8 different sauces for you to try, The chicken is well spiced and truly does not need any sauce. We had the mashed potato and gravy, mac and cheese and collard greens. The mash is homemade on the chunky side with small slivers of red potato skin, the mac was good as well as the collard greens. Food here is not your typical KFC variety so you will pay more but its O so worth it. 12 piece bucket 3 sides (16oz), 6 biscuits and one soft drink 45 plus tax. TPO is truly the finger licking good chicken! One small issue and I know the owner reads these reviews, we were charged .50 for a water cup. That seems a little on the high side to cover the cost of a cup.

Yelp
Really good fried chicken Crispy, juicy and very flavorful Yummy cornbread too We go every time we visit Sanibel !
google avatar

Yelp
Every year we come back and every year it is just awesome. Pies are awesome as well. A nice break from all the seafood! Great sides as well collards are excellent as well.

Yelp
We had a great dinner tonight! 12 piece, taters, Mac, Harlem and Okra. We are just off of the island and the 50 minute traffic jam getting off of the island didn't help, so by the time things got home, it wasn't as crispy and fresh but still really good! My only critique is that you be able to order pies when you order the rest of the food. Will be back! A bit of an update after dessert. Banana Cream pie was just ok. Icky sweet and a bit commercial tasting . Very starchy. Unfortunately none of us could eat it.
google avatar

Lisa W.

Yelp
We were excited to grab a bucket of chicken for dinner. The Cole slaw was soured, the biscuits were burned, the fried pie was burned. The lemon pie was good But could definitely use more lemon. The rest of the pies we tried were tolerable. Unfortunately, we will not be going here again
google avatar

Michael H.

Yelp
We had dinner here one night on the front porch. It was noticeably better than KFC. For one thing there is a house dog who will greet you at the front door. It's also fun to watch the Bentleys and the Porsches arrive in the parking lot to take home their fried chicken order. The chicken itself was very tasty. If and when you get tired of fish and other seafood, give this place a try.
google avatar

Sara E.

Yelp
The chicken here is to die for. Crunchy and juicy and delicious. I didn't try any pies, but they looked amazing. The sides are only so-so, but the chicken more than makes up for it.
google avatar

Cecelia C.

Yelp
What better way to celebrate national fried chicken day with fried chicken, of course! It is a take out place with some outdoor counter top seating available. We ordered the #1 (Two piece with side and biscuit) and #8 (4 piece with side and biscuit). Both combos were supposed to come with a mix of white and dark meat but they let us get all dark meat. We chose mac and cheese and mashed potatoes with gravy for sides. The chicken was good, but not great because it was too salty. The leg seemed saltier than the thigh. The texture was more soggy / soft than crispy but this may have been due to the moisture it collected from being in the take out box. Luckily, the sides were not salty. They were actually kind of bland which balanced out the salty chicken. Overall ok, but not a place I would go too if I'm craving fried chicken.
google avatar

Devin R.

Yelp
Great fried chicken! The greens were spicy so watch out. Pies looked amazing but we didn't get one. I regret that now.
google avatar

Kristin B.

Yelp
Ok - it took me at least an hour after dinner to be able to wrap my head around what I just ate. I would describe my family as noisy, we like to talk....all of us! Put us at a dinner table on vacation and there are at least 3 conversations going on simultaneously. But after digging in to our first bites of fried chicken, there was complete silence. Like church silence - which is a good description because that food was pretty near a religious experience!! The crispness of the chicken was amazing and it truly sealed in the juices of the chicken. But it wasn't greasy, tasteless crispy - it was an amazing flavor that words can't do justice! The collard greens were perfectly marinated and delicious. The mashed potatoes & gravy were comparable to my grandmothers Thanksgiving potatoes!! Do yourself a favor and give this place a try!!
google avatar

Jackie E.

Yelp
Finally went last week to see what all the fuss is about! Have to say, it was pretty good! Their gravy is literally the best I have ever had!! Also had chicken and waffles, chicken was amazing, waffle was just so, so. Hubby had chicken, gravy and biscuits...it was sooooooo good!!! We got cherry pie to go... oh my, it is worth the drive just for it!! Highly recommend!!
google avatar

Yelp
Holy fried chicken - we love this place for the Tastiest chicken anywhere. Be sure to add on their key lime cheesecakes as they are incredible.
google avatar

Yelp
This is the best chicken, the owner is very nice and the bake goods are super good overall this place you can't go wrong with anything here .it was so worth it the drive from Cape Coral .

Yelp
After hearing good reviews about this fried chicken place on Sanibel we had to try it out. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. This is a quick service take out restaurant serving fried chicken with southern sides. They have a nice hot sauce bar and limited seating outside. Today my wife tried the fried chicken wings, I tried the fried chicken and waffle, and we shared the sides of mac n cheese, collard greens, coleslaw and cheesy grits. The fried chicken was great, very tasty, crispy and juicy. The waffle for me was not great, it was soggy and lacked flavor. The sides in our opinion were mediocre. The greens while tender lacked any flavor, the mac n cheese, over cooked not cheesy and flavorless, the coleslaw was slimy and the grits were very lumpy. While we are glad we made the trip and every one loves them, this experience was not great.

Marla M.

Yelp
Best chicken, best mac n cheese, best mashed potatoes and biscuits! Try their chicken pot pies and desserts, too!

Yelp
Wow wow wow! Such a hidden gem of Sanibel. Get the 1/2 chicken! This is some of the best chicken of any kind that I have ever eaten! Highly recommend!

Yelp
The chicken tenders with biscuits and gravy is delicious. But the Mac and cheese has cheese that comes from out of a can, and the drinks from the machine didn't taste right. The pies looked promising but ended up just being a pie crust filled with mass produced pudding (like industrial donut filling kind) The only seating is high tops in the hallway of the strip mall that houses this restaurant, so depending on the outside temperature it is a consideration

Yelp
This hole-in-wall is a solid lunch stop if you're craving delights from the fried arts. The biscuits are outstanding, and the fries are addictive. The fried chicken is crispy outside and moist inside, although the breading could stand a bit more seasoning. The fried okra is fresh made, but, again, the breading could use a bit more flavor. The beverage selection is limited, but the the multiple in-house sauce options are impressive. Prices are reasonable and the service is quick.

Yelp
Great fried chicken. Fried green tomato was great as well. One of the best mash potatoes that I ever tried. Kids loved the Mac & Cheese.

Yelp
We were so excited to eat this fried chicken other than Publix'. Ok. Chicken is fresh. I can tell. However, it doesn't justify the price. We ordered 8 piece combo. Biscuits are pretty good. Breast were so dry. Wings were soggy. Yet they were pretty decent fried chicken. Then the coleslaw....terrible. Too sweet and definitely under-seasoned. No flavor no taste. We paid $30 for this mediocre fried chicken. The price is way too much for this food. I am actually being very generous for giving 3 stars

Yelp
Came to the island for vacation and saw this place on yelp and wanted to try it out. Got two "Mixed Chick" meals and the chicken was very good, a bit salty but good. The mashed potatoes with gravy was very good as well. The mac & cheese is a no go. It seemed microwaved and didn't seem fresh, also didn't have much taste. Only a small selection of pies out and they also seemed not that fresh. The chicken is great and so are the potatoes, just stay clear of the mac & cheese. Oh! and the biscuits are delicious and super soft.
