Disappointed! I used to come during weekend every month for a few years from Covid to now , visit more than twenty to thirty times . Today I don’t realise they no longer offer cake set and I was surprised when pay the bill. One piece of cake $128, coffee is reasonable $80. The male staff is so unpolite saying he had been working here for a year and said they don’t do any cake set, price is always like that . I just had not been for a few months and service is not as good. No wonder no more crowds. P.s. The cake is similar taste as before, coffee is just so so. Two pieces of cake and two coffee costs almost the same as 2ppl sweet menu $598!

This is one of my favorite Chinese pastry and dessert shop in Hong Kong. Every year if I am here between September and October I will do my best to stop by to buy their egg custard mooncakes which are my favorite. Not cheap but really good if you want to treat yourself

Update review 2025: 2 Stars It is no longer worth visiting. The quality has fallen drastically since last visit in 2023. We ordered a Miffy collaboration Mango Parfait and Coconut Pandan Cake plus 2 coffees. The cake was good quality but the Miffy Parfait was so bad I only ate 1/4 of it and gave up. The icecream was already too soft on serving, it had started to melt. It taste horribly sweet with one dimension flavour. Coffee was average as well. The available cakes on display looked dismal compared to the selection they use to have a few years ago. Service is still good and setting is nice and quiet. I can no longer recommend this cafe in 2025. Review in 2023: 5 Stars Cakes were perfect, coffee perfect, service perfect. The only thing I would have liked better would be if the expresso in the Affogato was less bitter. It’s a small cafe with only 4 tables, make a reservation to make sure you don’t miss out.

This is a grand hotel with a large and luxurious lobby, tastefully decorated with elegant & posh interiors. We were here to enjoy the afternoon high tea. A set for 2 pax is HKD 987 including tax. The canapés were so pretty & delicate and we absolutely enjoyed everything they served. One small down side is that they missed out our cold cantaloupe melon soup until we asked for it as we saw they everyone else had that item except us. Otherwise I would have given a perfect score. Overall, this is a great place to hang out with friends over a cuppa and be soaked in the beautiful atmosphere.

The interior is amazingly good! I tried the scone set. The scone set got two pieces of scones, it is so tasty! The scone is crispy and airy, with nice buttery and milk flavor, together with the clotted cream and strawberry jam, so delicious! I felt that tastes as good as the four seasons one. The flat white is smooth, with nice coffee roast flavor without any acidicity, right amount of foam and right temperature. I had a good time there.

**An amazing tea party** This is my 4th visit to this cafe. I chose here to be my friend’s birthday tea party becoz I had a good time before. This is a small cosy cafe located on basement in the Peninsula Hotel. The cafe only has five tables with a quiet and luxury Atmosphere. The staff here name Ruby is super friendly, polite and helpful with a big smile on her face. We feel so welcome here. The food is yummy as usual. There are 4 of us and we order 2 tea set for 2. We still need to pack some macarons home. We had an unforgettable birthday here and definitely will come back again. Thank you!

Terrible service. Served cake and coffee before my main course and salad. Asking to replenish water but never come. Server stained the table cloth when he took away the plate. I wouldn’t recommend this place. $1000 for two sandwiches would expect little better services from this top notch hotel.

Great service received for my online birthday cake order. I had originally booked a cake for delivery on a Monday but it was rescheduled due to a typhoon. The cake was delivered the next day as promised. It looked so pretty and my mother was so happy with her cake gift! It would have been better if they delivered the cake earlier than 6pm. But it was all fine! A special mention to Eric, who was very communicative and kept me informed by email and reassured me the cake was being delivered. Thanks to Eric for helping with my cake order and who is such a credit to the team.
