The Peppery Thai Restaurant is an absolute delight! I dined there twice already, and from the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It made me feel right at home. The staff—especially the sweet and kind owner- are like family. The food I enjoyed so far is high quality. The green curry is a perfect balance of creamy coconut milk, aromatic herbs, and just the right amount of spice, with the crispy chicken going with it wonderfully done. The red curry is a masterfully accomplished dish. Rich and flavorful with a generous amount of tender, sweet salmon and fresh vegetables. Every dish is prepared with care. The vibe is just on! I am going to have more and more dishes at the Peppery. The Peppery Thai Restaurant is a true treasure—where incredible food and heartfelt hospitality come together perfectly. Thank you!

Google
We had a really nice experience at The Peppery Thai! Most of the dishes were flavorful and well-prepared especially the Drunken noodles and Yellow Curry, which were both packed with spice and depth. The service was warm and attentive, and the cozy vibe made it a great spot for dinner. The only downside was the spring roll, it was a bit bland and didn’t feel as fresh as the other dishes. But overall, the meal was delicious and I’d definitely come back to try more from the menu

The first time I tried food from this restaurant was through DoorDash and I was amazed!!! Then the following day, I had the food again and it was still amazing! Their Avocado Fresh Spring Rolls were amazing as well as their fried tofu! Also, amazing mangoes with their sticky rice dessert!

I recently dined at Thai Restaurant The Peppery in Braintree, MA and had an great experience. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors that transported me straight to Thailand. The service was equally impressive—prompt, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. One of the highlights was the reasonable pricing, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The ample parking available also added to the convenience of dining here. Overall, I highly recommend The Peppery Thai Restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy a delightful meal with great service and reasonable prices.

Google
Loveeee Thai food, so I was really excited to try this place for lunch when I was in the area. No wait time at all. I came in around 130 pm on a Friday. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The food came out very quick as well. I ordered shrimp pad Thai, Veggie dumplings, Chive Pancake, Thai spring rolls and my daughter had white rice with crispy chicken. All of the food was yummy, and we even had plenty to take home. The only complaint was the smell inside the restaurant (maybe of how close we were sitting to the bathroom), and the parking in back was inconvenient.

Google
The Peppery Thai was absolutely delicious! We had the chicken basil fried rice and the chicken red curry and both were full of flavor and perfectly prepared. Service was quick and staff were very nice. Highly recommend!

Google
The noodles and fried rice were very tasty. I didn’t like the Tom Yum soup — it was too sweet for my taste. The spring rolls seemed pre-made and weren’t good. The truffle edamame was super salty but still delicious Service was excellent and staff members were very friendly The price matches the quality and portions 👍🏼 The atmosphere was nice, but playing Thai music instead of English songs would make the experience much better 💯🌟

Google
highly recommend this Thai restaurant. The food is both delicious and clean. The Pad See Ew with wide noodles is perfectly stir-fried—the noodles are chewy and soft, and I can taste their freshness. The Donut Shrimp is flavorful and aromatic, infused with the rich spices from the marinade. The homemade Shu Mai has just the right texture, with a perfect balance of shrimp and chicken, making it juicy and satisfying.

Yelp
This was our second visit to the restaurant, our first visit was excellent. This time, we went with our son and daughter-in-law. The food, again, was excellent, and the people we were with agreed that this place in a hidden gem

Ellie L.

Yelp
Came here for brunch with a friend and kids. The place was very nice and cozy. We had wings, pad see ew, salmon, and udon. The stir fry udon was cooked perfectly. I'm a big fan of pad see eww and it was okay and weren't my fav here. The portion was small and the noodles were extremely Mince and lacked a bite of flavor. The salmon was an interesting touch, served with white rice and mango salad. The wings was extremely over done and my kids would eat. Overall it was okay for brunch but I love me my Thai food and wish I left here a bit more satisfied.

Yelp
New addition to south shore. Prices are average and they do a lunch special Monday-Friday for an entree and side like soup or spring roll. Was unable to watch the lunch since it was Saturday so we ordered chicken satay, drunken noodles, and mango curry. Very disappointed in the satay, thought it was kind of lackluster just barely marinated in curry and coconut marinade. I've had better satay As for drunken noodles, it was good. I was say better than most as some places do not have much flavor or color and here there was. As for the curry, portion looks big but plate quite deceiving. It was good I will say but nothing mind blowing

Yelp
It has a modern and cozy interior design. When we got there at 5 p.m. on Thursday, we were seated immediately; it was not that busy. Service was friendly but not attentive after all the dishes were served. We finished our meal in less than an hour. Lychee with Coconut Jelly - It was refreshing, not too sweet. Love it Thai Iced Green Tea - not too bitter or too sweet Shrimp Donut - MUST TRY - they chopped the shrimp instead of mincing, crispy and juicy Cranberry Crab Rangoon - served to warm, the cream cheese melts in your mouth Chicken Satay - the size of the chicken satay is the largest that I have eaten compared to other Thai restaurants, and the chicken is juicy Tom Yum Soup (with shrimp) - size was huge, medium spicy Tom Kha Soup (with shrimp) - size was huge but lack of coconut flavor Softshell Crab Mango Salad - I wish the mango were more ripe instead of raw Royal Pad Thai - nice presentation, but the pad thai was a little dried and lack of sauce Duck Tamarind - the duck was juicy and crispy, but the sauce was slightly salty. It would be best if you ate it with rice

Steven W.

Yelp
Located across from McDs with limited parking in the lot or the street. Amazing service. Prices for dishes are very reasonable for the portion and taste. The soups are delicious and the shrimp donut is crispy and crunchy. The wings were large and flavorful. Great food and service. Tasty and authentic.

Yelp
The Peppery is a delicious new addition to Braintree! The restaurant was renovated after the previous place closed, and it looks more modern and feels more comfortable. We had a reservation and were promptly seated by the window. Our server came to our table a few moments afterwards and we ordered several Thai Iced Teas which really hit the spot on a hot day, especially with the crushed iced that they use. We started our meal with crab rangoons and chicken satay. The rangoons were stuffed and the filling was flavorful, one of the best crab rangoons I've had in a while! The chicken satay was juicy and the peanut sauce that came with it was addicting. Next came the creamy tom yum seafood soup, which came in a large pot with calamari, shrimp and mussels- more than enough to feed 4 or 5 people. Also we had the drunken noodles and that was loaded with fresh vegetables and the flavor was on point. After demolishing those four items, we decided on the mango sticky rice as a palette cleanser and sweet treat. The dish was loaded with coconut milk and cream, which was a great balance of refreshing and sweetness. The service was received was phenomenal and all of our food arrived quickly- we were in and out of the restaurant in 45 minutes. I highly recommend The Peppery for your next Thai craving in and around Braintree.

Yelp
Ambience of the space is very clean and nice. We arrived on a weekday and it was just us near closing time but chill music nice lighting and calm atmosphere. We like that at times! I think the establishment is fairly new this year. The Thai ice teas were creamy, flavorful and NOT watery like some places. Nice to discover this spot on the south shore. We started with the mussels, wish the temp was a bit hotter, but the broth the mussels are in had good flavor depth (a pinch more heat to make it spicy would have been awesome) I enjoyed it overall. The mussels were tender not rubbery. I usually don't care for mussels but the lady likes them. Our other entree was a beef pad see ew i thought the flavor was good, for some reason other Thai spots make things too sweet. Felt it was balanced and good temp. The beef was typical cuts not out of this world but consistent to the standard beef cut stir fried with the rice noodles. I did crispy chicken basil fried rice. I liked that my rice had a slight kick (as it should!) onions, peppers, and Thai chili. The rice i enjoyed it came out hot and fresh. The chicken i think is pre packaged (which i think most a lot of places do) then fried but it wasn't dry or anything of that nature. Pleasant and i enjoyed it enough! The desert of course is mango sticky rice. I thought the sticky rice was great! The mango wasn't the sweet mango but it was still refreshing. I would have probably liked the rice and mango to be smothered with more sweet coconut milk sauce. (They do drizzle it generously though). The service i thought was great, they checked on us throughout the meal. Servers were super sweet and attentive. I would give service 5 stars. Will return again. Thank you!

Yelp
My partner and I got the Thai iced tea, pad thai w duck, spicy peppery steak, and mango w sweet sticky rice - TASTE: 4/5 - the iced tea, pad thai, and sweet sticky rice were classic and comforting. Tried pepper-y green peppercorn, w the steak, for the first time TEXTURE: 4/5 - enjoyed the thin cut slices of New York strip steak w chunky mushrooms, bell peppers, and tomatoes PRICE: 4/5 - total came to $75, a little more expensive than we expected SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - satisfied us for dinner and still took some leftovers home SERVICE: 4/5 - walked in at 5:30pm on a Friday and we were seated immediately. The staff was kind and friendly. Our food came out 10-15min after ordering ATMOSPHERE: 5/5 - small (~20 seats) though cozy, w modern decor and details, in the former Cafe Asiana space PARKING: 4/5 - got lucky w free street spots right in front on Pearl St

Yelp
Never disappointed. Amazing gluten free options. Gluten free noodles, gluten free curry, so many other options too. Delicious

Briana L.

Yelp
The Peppery is another Thai restaurant that took over the last one, but I'm so happy they're in the neighborhood! You have all the classic dishes and also a few specialty ones in the Chefs Specials menu. Every single dish I got was delicious and I'm definitely coming back to try more!

Madow N.

Yelp
Came again and this time, the salt and sugar were perfectly balanced in the dishes! The music was a nice touch, and not too loud. This place is a little gem in Braintree.

Amy C.

Yelp
We ordered delivery and had duck basil fried rice and crispy chicken drunken noodles. Everything was yummy. Duck was tender. Drunken noodles had the perfect amount of spice. Would come back to try their other dishes. But I prefer the crispy chicken from anchan a few blocks down more

Anish K.

Yelp
Ordered the drunken noodles and red curry with tofu. Food was ok, but nothing great. Pickup service was prompt. They have free street parking in front of the restaurant.

Lizzie Y.

Yelp
New Thai restaurant on the block and had to give it a try! Started our meal out with Thai iced teas and steamed mussels for an appetizer. The Thai iced teas were solid. The mussels had great flavor, however, it did not arrive hot and was on the warm side. Putting the temperature of this dish aside, I think it has potential. For entrees, we tried the Pad See Ew with beef and the basil fried rice with crispy chicken. The pad see ew tasted like how a pad see ew should taste. The crispy chicken basil fried rice had a nice kick to it and the rice was a good consistency, not too hard not too soft/soggy. We had the mango sticky rice for dessert and it was the first time trying this dessert with Alphonso/Kent mango, rather than the standard "Asian mango"/(usually Ataulfo/Champagne). Asian mangoes usually are sweeter and have a silkier texture compared to red mango. It still tasted up to par but would've like to have had it with yellow mango. Overall, this is a solid Thai restaurant that has the sweetest workers who were attentive and helpful. The flavors in the dishes were enjoyable, but I think that none of their dishes were 10/10 amazing nor separate them from other Thai places in the area. Thai teas: 7/10 Steamed Mussels: 6.5/10 Crispy chicken basil fried rice: 7.5/10 Beef Pad See Ew: 7.5/10 Mango Sticky Rice with Coconut Milk: 8/10 Ambiance & Decor: SIDE NOTE but the decor is super cute & has a beautiful aesthetic!! Super clean and played peaceful, calming tunes.

Sydney N.

Yelp
Food: 4/5 Service: 3.5/5 A cute and cozy spot, great for a quick weeknight dinner. Was seated immediately on a Wednesday, but was busy. Service was friendly, but not attentive. Started with: -Tom yum soup: spicy and strong flavor, but came out lukewarm which was disappointing. Better than most places. -papaya salad: Asian spice level and pungent (lime/ fish sauce), which I loved, but should have been served cold. -Thai iced tea: good flavor and not too sweet but too much milk. -crab Rangoon: mostly cream cheese. Dinner: -pineapple fried rice w/ shrimp & chicken: Rice was super soft/moist and had good curry flavor. Perfect amount of flavor. Came out super hot. Usually not a fan of fried rice, but it was everyone's favorite. -pad Thai w/ chicken: was good just very wet and saucy. Husband said too much sauce. -spicy seafood drunken noodles: Usually my favorite dish, but not today. Could have been spicier. Flavorful but almost overpowering, maybe too salty. Bill was around $90 (before tip). Great prices. If you like very flavorful food, definitely give this place a try. Next time, I would definitely try the royal pad Thai, crab fried rice, and the mango sticky rice.

Yelp
So glad this gem opened up in Braintree!! Had such a wonderful experience at The Peppery. The remodel came out great -- the place is bright and airy with modern decorations and furniture. The staff was really friendly and attentive. We started off with the Thai iced teas, Crab Rangoons, and chicken satay. The Crab Rangoons were some of the best I've had in a while! It had a great ratio of crab to cream cheese. The chicken satay tasted super fresh and came with a tasty peanut sauce. For entrees we had the creamy Tom yum soup and drunken noodles with beef. Both were delicious especially the creamy tom yum soup. I'm excited to come back and try more of the dishes!

Julie M.

Yelp
Had a nice meal here with friends. The Thai ice tea are served in cute glasses but wasn't the best I've had, it was very tea based so it wasn't as sweet. The pad Thai is a good size portion, tasted great! The crispy duck salad was cooked wonderfully and had great flavor. The spring rolls were absolutely delicious, may have been my favorite part of the meal.

Marilyn C.

Yelp
This is a great restaurant! The food was so fresh and tasty. Everything was so good. Highly recommend.

Amy M.

Yelp
Pad Thai w/ Crispy Chicken - highly recommend. Perfect balance of spice and comes with a good portion of meat. We got the Pad Thai from this place 2x already and still so good! Service - very attentive and gave my takeout order to me once I walked in.

Annabelle L.

Yelp
such a cute little place in the south shore! i think it just recently opened, so we came here for my mom's birthday. the thai iced green tea was refreshing but i think the tea flavor could be a little stronger. for appetizers we got papaya salad and steamed mussels. papaya salad could use some more lime and the steamed mussels were good, i just wish there was a carb like bread to soak up the sauce with b/c the sauce was yummy. additionally we ordered the spicy pepper steak and green curry. both were not spicy enough for me but the flavor was there, the spicy pepper steak was one of my favorites and white rice is definitely needed. the pad thai was decent, not the best i've had and i think a little burnt but i still ate most of it.

Yelp
This is my first time trying food at Peppery and I can proudly say that this establishment provides astonishing dishes. Each bite that you take packs an absolute punch in flavor. The seasoning is perfect, there is never a bland bite. Always warm and flavorful. The staff at Peppery are super friendly, attentive, and inviting. They don't constantly bother you like how some staff will at different places. The design of the restaurant provides a warm welcoming feel. It felt calming and comforting to sit in and dine at the restaurant despite never being there before. Modern touch. The food was soo immaculate that I had to come back for round 2 - Service is amazing as always, staff is very friendly. I even brought an entire group of friends with me this time. At night, there were these small cute little candles at the table. The decor is SPOT ON.

Marie A.

Yelp
Food is deliciously prepared! Service is quick and Ambiance is great! Would definitely recommend.

Vickitten C.

Yelp
Our family loves Thai food, and this restaurant truly stands out with its unique menu. While the place is small, it's clean and cozy. The shrimp donuts are absolutely delicious, and the mango sticky rice is a must-try! We also had a special Pad Thai dish with lobster, wrapped in eggs (I can't recall the exact name), but it was hands-down the best Pad Thai I've ever had--and unlike anything I've seen elsewhere. It's clear the chef is bringing some innovative twists to traditional Thai cuisine, making this spot a real gem.

Heidi L.

Yelp
I ordered takeout here, Tom Yum soup is too salty and not sour at all. Doesn't taste like it's made from scratch. I would say crispy chicken that goes with the noodle is good. However the noodle soups we ordered (Tom Yum noodle soup and duck noodle soup) were just ok. I feel like some food is better than others so you have to try all the dishes and order what you like again. For example, my friend ordered the drunken noodle and pad see ew and they taste good.

Sam S.

Yelp
Best masaman curry I ever had. Drunken noodles which was also very good.,however on a cold day, I sat by the air conditioner and oh boy it was freezing. Had my coat on. I shouldn't be freezing having dinner. They really need to do something in cold days

Caitlin A.

Yelp
Awesome awesome restaurant! We were in and out in 30 minutes, the food was excellent and it was very well priced. Our server was attentive and it was a very clean and calm atmosphere. Highly recommend. (They do not serve alcohol though!)

Cat W.

Yelp
The food here was incredible. Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. The prices were very fair and reasonable especially for this area. The service was quite literally perfect. I felt so taken care of and the servers were so friendly and kind the moment I stepped in the door. I had such a great experience- I will def be back here. Run don't walk to The Peppery!

Jessica T.

Yelp
Only got the pad Thai, basil friend rice, and crab fried rice. But everything was cooked well. Probably one of the best Thai places in the area. Can't wait to try other things on menu next time. Service was friendly. Prices a bit high. Cute decor but floor was sticky. Our shoes were sticking to the floor as we walked to our table.

Unicorn O.

Yelp
Ratings Had peppery Thai rice: spiciness (9/10), taste 6/10. Could be better. If there were no peppers, it would've tasted a bit bland. Chive pancake: very disappointing. But if you're a fan of chive, you'll probably love it... I thought it'll be much flatter and crunchy. (2/10) Efficient: 10/10 Nice ppl: 10/10 Parking: 2/10 I'll prob try it one more time and go for pineapple fried rice and spring roll

Madison D.

Yelp
This place is so good! Everything I've tried so far has been fabulous. Not too greasy and very delicious.

Lena-Marie L.

Yelp
First luncheon special Massaman Curry with Chicken today Fantastic Cranberry Crab Rangoons Will return soon and eventually order take out

Becky H.

Yelp
We stopped by here because we're trying to try all new places around the South Shore. It was super good, very clean, and professional service. I got the mango fried rice with shrimp and was a great portion. Highly recommend.

Sharon C.

Yelp
The service is good. The ambiance is good. But the taste is not quite enjoyable. All dishes with beef are unsatisfactory, as the meat is chewy (the chef appears to have cut the meat along the grain instead of across it), and the flavor of the meat is not appealing. The Pad See Ew has an overly strong fishy taste, which I suspect might be due to either the egg or a rusty wok. The Massaman curry tastes predominantly of milk or cream, with a very mild curry flavor. The rest of the dishes are acceptable but not particularly enjoyable.

Charly V.

Yelp
This restaurant was once the "Asiana", but the past owners retired. I had been going there for the last 20 years and loved it. Now, I just tried the new place now called "Peppery" and was delighted that they also have excellent food and very reasonable prices. Noted dish was the broiled salmon in Mannisman (SP?) curry. Suburb. I am so glad that such a quality establishment was able to replace another quality restaurant and we will be going there regularly. I hope Jack and Jen, the past owners read this. Paula and I miss you and we hope your retirement is going well.

Traveligious N.

Yelp
The ambience was clean and chic and service was prompt and polite. Food was delicious. It was the best Thai food we have had so far in the town.

Pichaiyut T.

Yelp
OMG!! New Thai restaurant in town. My first time to try lunch Specials It's come with spring roll and Tom yum soup And+1$for Thai ice green tea. Everything is so good!! Love It. Excellent service lady at the front are so kind Love it. Ambiance feels welcome to relax and cozy. Love it. Reasonable price. Love it. Nothing to say bad for The peppery. And that is the reason I give them 5 star. I will come back for sure

Mary L.

Yelp
Drunkin noodles, house fried rice & chicken satay were simply delicious! Generous portions, perfectly seasoned & fresh!

Lori W.

Yelp
Soft opening today! So happy I stopped in. The interior had a complete remodel which gives a comfortable vibe. Ordered the cranberry crab Rangoon. Oh my just loved these plus it came with a very small salad. Also ordered the teriyaki beef that comes with a small white rice. Presentation was excellent. Broccoli and pods were crisp and Beef was perfectly sliced. The teriyaki sauce had great flavor and not the usual. Definitely coming back here
