Update: We are now FIVE days out from the theft of my vehicle, and I have yet to receive anything--no footage, no updates, no accountability. I'm beyond frustrated. The police still don't have the footage they requested either, and every time I follow up, I get nothing but excuses and indifference.
Let me be clear: this is a disgrace. The utter lack of urgency surrounding a criminal incident on your property is appalling. Removing the police-monitored security camera was an act of negligence--and now, when something happens, management shrugs its shoulders and blames everyone else. Corporate has been completely useless, offering zero support and no direction.
This place is a textbook example of overpriced, mismanaged chaos. I would've been better off paying half the rent somewhere else and at least knowing not to expect anything. Instead, I'm paying a premium to live in what's turning out to be a polished-up disaster.
I will absolutely not be renewing my lease, and rest assured, I'll be making sure others know exactly what kind of operation is being run here. The way this has been handled is not just unprofessional--it's unacceptable.
Edit to add: They removed the police parking lot camera and my car was stolen 5/31/2025 between 2:10am and 2:30am. I DO NOT feel safe here anymore.
I have been a resident for quite some time now, and I feel compelled to tell my story of a series of ongoing issues that have led to my growing dissatisfaction with the property--especially given the high rent we are paying.
First and foremost, security is a major concern. There have been multiple car break-ins, and while a camera was recently installed, it is insufficient. With only one camera and many areas still unmonitored, it is unlikely to catch any wrongdoers in the act.
Additionally, the ongoing issue with dogs has become increasingly unbearable. Dogs are often left on balconies in freezing temperatures, barking incessantly for hours. This is not only disruptive for residents but also a clear violation of basic animal welfare. Not to mention the smell from urine and feces.
I am also frustrated by the lack of trash service, despite paying an extra $20 each month for it. The breezeways are regularly littered with trash, which suggests that management is either unaware or unconcerned about maintaining the cleanliness and integrity of the property.
The elevators are another issue. They consistently smell unpleasant, and the maintenance response time is subpar at best. The have recently hired new maintenance, so we'll see how that works out. I've submitted maintenance requests, but the lack of follow-up has been disappointing. Furthermore, I have had to submit my renter's insurance documents multiple times, in multiple ways, only to be contacted two days before rent is due with additional requests and--of course--a $15 fee has already been applied even though this information is already onfile. This disorganization has become frustrating and time-consuming.
Lastly, the gate and fob system continues to malfunction, despite my efforts to resolve the issue by visiting the office. To make matters worse, residents, including myself, are still not listed in the gate box, leading to avoidable inconveniences.
In conclusion, it is evident that this apartment complex is providing the bare minimum while charging a premium. Given the ongoing issues with security, cleanliness, maintenance, and overall management, I will definitely be thinking long and hard before renewing my lease. I strongly encourage potential renters to thoroughly evaluate these concerns before making a decision. Additionally, it's worth noting that the 4.4-star rating you see may not fully reflect the reality, as there appears to be an influx of 5-star reviews from friends, family members, and even former employees who are not living on the property.
