Private Wine Clubs In Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"Opened in Buckhead by professional golfer Christian Ries this January (next to the new Delbar location), the club already has 350 memberships and is heading into a waitlist. Ries, who grew up in Stellenbosch, South Africa, says, "At the end of a game, there are nice bottles of wine being opened up. I started realizing there are a lot of people passionate about this hobby. Golf and wine are synonymous." The wine library totals over 650 bottles and 40 wines by the glass, assembled by wine director and co-founder Elizabeth Dames and lead sommelier Jason Wilfore, and includes vintage grower Champagnes, GG rieslings, and old vine zinfandels. Executive chef Jordan Sanchez (previously at Soho House in Chicago and L.A. Rose Cafe in Los Angeles) runs the menu with dishes like grilled clam toast, seared scallops, sorghum glazed duck breast, and caviar and cornbread with molasses creme fraiche. Membership features include allowing up to four guests a day for each member. Rachel Katz, co-founder and chief brand officer, says, "We want to remove the pretension from the wine world and create a space where people can feel welcome — just the other day a table was drinking two beautiful vintages of Burgundy and they invited the other table to come drink the wine with them. It’s a true community." Ries also reflects, "Funny how wine creates a web of connection. Atlanta is a good place with good entrepreneurship. We’re not really selling wine; we’re selling community." - Henna Bakshi

The Perlant is a private social club that delivers one of the most exclusive and elevated dining experiences in Atlanta. The ambiance is sleek and upscale, the service is top-tier, and the food is creative, flavorful, and artfully presented. From the cocktails to the main courses, everything felt intentional and indulgent. If you’re looking for a refined night out and manage to get access — it’s absolutely worth it.

Epic interiors and the food presentation is phenomenal. Just went to celebrate a special occasion and the staff went above and beyond for our group. The duck, steak, fish and mushrooms were some of the best we’ve ever had in our life. For breakfast & brunch, the avocado toast is unreal, the burger is one of my top in Atlanta, and ask about the story behind the omelette with caviar. (Everyone at the table loved this) Hats off to a team that is kind, helpful and welcoming to my wife and me, who don’t know a ton about wine, but are enjoying learning the history of wine and food culture!

I’m so excited to have a membership to The Perlant. It’s a much needed addition to Buckhead. I recently had the pleasure of having lunch here. I followed along as they were preparing to open and could not wait to finally get to try it. It truly exceeded my expectations. The decor was absolutely stunning, creating an elegant and inviting atmosphere. Once you step foot inside, you forget you’re in Atlanta. I look forward to coming to do work here for a change of scenery and also for dinner. The wine list is amazing. More importantly, the food was exceptional. Each dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, showcasing the chef's skill and creativity. We ordered the kale artichoke dip as an appetizer. It was the best I’ve had. I had the scallops and Caesar salad, and my guest had the burger. Both incredible. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience, and I would highly recommend joining The Perlant to have the opportunity to experience all that it offers.

This is a beautiful place and I'm rooting for its success. I came with a friend to their family and friends event. It's basically a social club concept with a bar, restaurant, and sitting spaces. Based on the layout, it's less a place for serendipitous interaction and more for bringing people you already know to socialize. Seems too catere to a more mature clientele that prefers wine over a beer. Overall, I enjoyed dinner and the ambiance. The menu design was smart. I especially like the scallop crudos! And the kale salad. My duck was probably the toughest piece of duck meat I've ever had in my life, but they're just getting started so I'm sure they're working out the execution kinks in the kitchen. A few other execution items that would suggest retraining of the staff could be helpful, but again growing pains.

As a wine professional and educator - the staff and bottle list are astounding. What the Bev director and somm (Elizabeth and Jason) have made will help shape the wine conversations in Atlanta. Also food is amazing. Chef Jordan is crushing it!

Outstanding space, outstanding food, outstanding wine program. This is one of the very best things going on in Atlanta right now. If you can afford to join, do so! Otherwise, find a friend who is a member and call in a favor. It's a really distinctive experience.

I came here with a member. Beautiful interiors reminded me of Morocco. Each room had a different vibe. You can choose to enjoy your wine or dessert or snacks at the bar, the couches, the workstations, or the dining room.

There have only been 2 times where I've walked into an experience with very high expectations and had them blown out of the water. This is one of them. The Club is great, the food is great, and the staff is amazing. I think the most amazing thing about The Perlant so far is the intentionality and authenticity in making everyone feel included and welcome vs. some other clubs that are intentionally very exclusive and just don't feel authentic.
