Our stay at Petra Hotel on Patmos Island was a perfect choice for our vacation. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the entire team. They made sure all our needs were taken care of, and everyone was friendly, helpful, and always smiling. Angee from the front desk was especially helpful and kind, both before and during our stay. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully arranged, with a team that responded to every request quickly and cheerfully. The room amenities and the handmade breakfast were both very satisfying and felt special to us. The hotel owner, Ms. Petra, personally took care of every detail during our stay. She made my birthday unforgettable with her extraordinary hospitality and thoughtfulness. She truly made the day feel very special. Compared to other small luxury concept hotels I’ve stayed in worldwide, Petra Hotel stands out as one of the best in terms of service and friendly atmosphere. I applaud every person and business that continues to provide exceptional service with the same care and quality as they did on day one — and this is certainly the case with Ms. Petra and the entire team at Petra Hotel.

Our stay at The Petra in Patmos was amazing!!!|From the moment we arrived, Petra and her amazing staff made us feel like we were guests at their house. Petra has created a small boutique hotel that is sophisticated, yet very comfortable. |The walk up to your room feels like you are meandering through the streets of a small Greek village. The design and colors chosen immediately make you feel transported to a different world. The rooms are meticulously decorated with amazing furniture and high end linens. The view outside our suite offered breathtaking views of Grikos Beach. The pool was also ideally located right outside the rooms. The staff always made sure everything was meticulously maintained and appointed. |Each morning, breakfast on the veranda was a feast for the tastebuds. One by one, dishes of fresh homemade baked goods and local delicacies were presented. All this, with a backdrop of the beach below. |We hope to one day come back and stay again at this unforgettable hotel!!!

My husband and I had the most relaxing stay at The Petra Hotel, perfectly situated overlooking the gorgeous bay of Grikos.|Petra and her lovely team looked after us throughout our stay with super efficiency, kindness and discretion. |Our room was very spacious and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the pool and the wonderful views beyond. Breakfast was a delight with plenty of choice and delicious homemade dishes to try, all served up with a smile. |The hotel is perfectly situated, just a five minute drive from the port of Skala and close to the historic village of Chora. |We spent many days relaxing around the pool area, taking in the views and enjoying the calm and a chance to unwind.|Thank you Petra and the team, especially the restaurant staff and the fantastic housekeeping staff, for looking after us and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay.

We stayed in the Panorama Sea View Terrace room, and waking up to those breathtaking views of the Aegean was unforgettable.||The breakfast was delicious, with fresh, beautifully prepared dishes that we looked forward to each day. The pool was another highlight—serene and perfectly placed to take in the scenery. Order a Spritz and cute little snacks. ||Petra Hotel is the ideal retreat for couples—romantic, relaxing, and filled with genuine hospitality. We left already dreaming of our return.

I'm here with my sister on our last day and we are both in agreement; the Petra is five star! |From the moment we arrived, we could feel the loving attention that went into every detail. We stayed in the Jacuzzi Suite, and it blew my expectations out of the water. You’ve got a front terrace with sweeping sea and pool views—perfect for sunrise coffee or evening drinks. Then out back there’s a private yard with a fabulous jacuzzi and cozy lounge chairs—ideal for unwinding after exploring the island.|Cleanliness here is top-tier. Every corner of the suite was spotless: fresh linens, sparkling bathroom, no trace of dust. The staff deserves all the praise—they are attentive without being overbearing. The owner is gentle, warm, and you can feel her care through the resort—she checks in, makes sure things are perfect, and genuinely seems to love what she does.|The food was another highlight. Breakfasts were fresh, with plenty of local flavors, and dinners felt like a treat every night—light, delicious, beautifully presented. Ingredients clearly chosen with care. Dinner was a delightful five star experience. Room service was perfect. The entire resort...over corner...is immaculate. |If you want a boutique oasis where every small thing is done with heart, The Petra Hotel is it. Petra and her team were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very close to beautiful beaches. There were nice restaurants nearby. I especially recommend Flisvos, which has very good food, location and prices.|Rooms were very clean. Perhaps too clean; personnel would immediately clean it whenever we went out regardless of time. Towels and linens were changed every day. Very good beach towels were also provided.||However, the room could be designed with priority given to functionality: we could not find adequate storage spaces for our stuff although we had two medium sized suitcases and hand bags only.||I must mention breakfast also; it was excellent.
