Sometimes less is more, and this gorgeous establishment is an amazing example of that. From the simple yet poignant decor to the delicious pastries displayed in the case, this is the place to stop and get away from the crowds. Ordered: 1. Classic Lemonade 2. Ginger peach mango tea The day was hot, but these cold teas helped immensely. Grateful to the people behind the counter for keeping up with the long lines. Great service!

Charming Blend of History and Flavor at The Pharmacy Tucked into the beautifully restored Keidel Pharmacy building on Main Street, The Pharmacy is a delightful fusion of old-world charm and modern culinary flair. From the moment you step inside, the historic ambiance sets the stage for a memorable experience. The menu offers a variety of flavorful options, from the standout pecan cinnamon roll to savory breakfast tacos and egg & cheddar sliders. Each item is prepared with care, delivering both taste and value. The coffee, crafted in partnership with San Antonio’s Merit Coffee, complements the food perfectly. Service is both friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant visit even during busy hours. The clean, inviting space makes it an ideal spot to relax or catch up with friends. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, The Pharmacy offers a unique and satisfying experience that pays homage to its roots while serving up contemporary delights. Highly recommended!

Pharmacy Coffee at the Albert Hotel offers a fantastic coffee experience, with high-quality brews and a charming aesthetic that fits perfectly with Fredericksburg’s vibe. The drinks are well-crafted, and the pastries are a nice touch, making it a great stop for a morning pick-me-up. However, the long lines can be a downside, especially during peak hours, and the limited seating makes it less ideal if you’re looking to sit and relax. It’s more of a grab-and-go spot, but if you’re patient, the coffee is worth the wait.

Great handcrafted coffee. Really glad we stopped by to grab some iced drinks. Quiet, simple interior with smooth coffee.

Visited this cute cafe the weekend before the eclipse. This cafe is super new and isn’t quite on the maps yet. From the outside it was hard to tell if this was a cafe or pharmacy. I did a double take when I came in out of curiosity. I am very pleasantly surprised by their sweet cream cold brew, smooth latte, and flavorful London fog. The baristas are super chill and easy to talk to. This ain’t your industrial Starbucks coffee folks. They only serve art.

All critical reviews are true - slow and unfriendly service, pastries all looked stale, dirty tables and chairs. After waiting for a while to place an order, the male employee finally called the next guest but somehow the couple behind me, not sure exactly why, but luckily it gave me an extra moment to “enjoy” the flies infestation in this establishment, flies were all over the pastries in the case, were interfering with each other and were very happy. I left the cafe with empty hands but in a good mood knowing that the flies were having a great life there.

The pharmacy is a cute little coffee shop that has indoor seating. It’s a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. It used to be an old pharmacy and they remodeled it into a coffee shop. They do pay homage to the original pharmacy with photos on the walls, which is a nice touch. The staff is nice and helpful and the layout of the store is pretty simple, but efficient. They have pastries and other drinks like water, sodas, beer and more. The coffee is pretty good, but the pastry we ordered was dry. It was a cake slice, but seemed to be a cinnamon roll flavor. I wouldn’t order this again, but would try something else.

I love the style of this place. It’s laid out and decorated really nicely. I even bought one of their green mugs and it’s now my favourite coffee mug. The food was really nice and I would recommend a stop here.

Yelp
I love the concept of this coffee shop. They have curated goods placed around the store that make perfect gifts for random people in your life. The interior is beautiful and the coffee was exceptional. I tried the shaken espresso with pecan syrup (homemade) and loved it. I also got to try the passionfruit cake which was so moist and delicious, making me excited to try the other pastries offered in their case.

Yelp
Their iced caramel latte is quite watery and did not have much of a caramel taste to it. They are on main st so it is convenient to stop in while strolling

Yelp
Amazing pastries and coffee! Such a relaxed vibe. Refreshing to find this on Main during our visit to Fredericksburg. We will be back!
