We came here to grab a bite to eat and grab a drink. All of the food we ordered was fantastic. One of the best burgers I've had in a while. The grilled cheese and tomato soup was fantastic also. Whatever cheese they use they are doing it right. We also had the jalapeno poppers which were just all right. the drink were nice and strong

I am fifty five years old and never have I been kicked out of a bar. We came from from out of state to watch a friend perform and we’re tipping well all night long because the guy helping us was amazing. Later we found out the person serving us was a bar back. The bar tenders got jealous we were tipping almost 100% because the guy was fun smiled and made us feel at home. The owner decided to ask us to leave when we weren’t drunk or causing any issues. It’s not every day some tips 100% but it’s based on service. They clearly need to make this bar back a bar tender and the other owners should reconsider having Gabriel Cressy as their partner. As an owner operator you don’t let your employees dictate how you run your business. This clearly is a gay owned business.

I wish I could give 0 stars. My family and I spend hundreds or dollars here because we feel safe and to be treated like crap and kicked out only because a bartender is having a rough night. I am sorry but we all hold up to our job and commit to pur job and they should do the same. And the owner not knowing what happening inside his business is ridiculous. Need better management and operations from the owner. We have been nothing but nice. Never going there ever again.y family deserve to feel safe and welcomed.

I loved this bar! The real star of the show was Sheila - she ran the karaoke like the navy but also blessed us with a performance worthy of broadway. She has a show on Saturday nights (one night a month I believe) from 6-8pm. If you’re in Vegas I would highly recommended going to see Sheila.

Since coming out of the closet in December after 35 long years, Anthony and all the other bartenders make me feel comfortable here. Even though I've been sober for 6 months, they always make me feel welcome when I go in to gamble, socialize and play pool.

My husband and I went there on Wednesday it's a nice cute little bar it had our favorite Dart boards Friendly staff, friendly bar manager Great prices on our beer We will be back

I had a few food items, but forgot to get photos. It's very much "bar food", so expectations for that weren't very high. I got the chicken tenders, buffalo cauliflower, and fish n' chips. It was strange because they all tasted the same. The batter was the same for all of them, and the meats and breading were all very bland and under seasoned. They definitely needed the sauces they come with. The service from the waitstaff was quick, and they were very friendly. If this was just based on the food, it would probably be a 2 star review, but it was saved by the service and entertainment. I went for the show, and really enjoyed some of the entertainers Also, for being a small space, I think the smoke/fog was a bit much. They also host rupaul's drag race viewing parties & have things like Pokémon and other gaming themed days and shows! I look forward to coming back on a non-show day and giving different non-fried food items a try. I have my eye on the grilled cheese & tomato bisque soup.

I'm a huge fan of The Phoenix Bar & Lounge! It's my go-to spot for happy hour with my friends and family. Their epic happy hour is daily 50% off drink from 12pm - 6 pm. In addition to the inclusive and diverse atmosphere - the staff always makes me and my group feel welcome. The staff is prompt, friendly, and thoughtful. I'm also a fan of the food. I've tried the chicken nachos, Caesar salad, chicken sandwich, and hotdog. For bar food, the quality is great and fresh. Never too salty or dry. I will mention that my friend ordered a dirty martini the last time we were here and they did not add olive juice.

Great food, fun atmosphere, the owners are always going overboard creating a great place to hang out!! The chef is wonderful! The bar staff is superb and always welcoming!! Stop in, you wont be disappointed!

nice place, employees who treat their customers badly and make fun of them, today I discovered how very disrespectful and rude a bartender can be towards her customers and it was very interesting to see how the whole team had fun with the situation, it is not a place to return!

One of my favorite hang outs in all of fabulous Las Vegas. The food is perfect anytime, day or night even during the middle of the night. There is always something fun happening each & every night of the week. I have been coming here for years and I will continue EXCEPT when that little RUDE, LAZY TWIT Kyle is working Or should I say not working, just getting paid to stand around and not doing anything but pissing everybody off.... If I were you I'd call ahead and ask if Gomer Kyle is working and plan accordingly!!

Went here for a night out during pride month and it's such a vibe! Food was absolutely incredible! Service on point 10/10

Love it!!! Made friends with minutes of arriving. I'm at wonderful people. The entertainment was enjoyable and everyone was happy.

Walked in at 8pm on a friday and sat at the bar and was ignored by both bartenders working who were both tall and had tattoos and were wearing tank tops... Ended up walking out because we were ignored so we didnt spend a dime here. Its sad because this is my favorite gay bar in vegas because the bartenders here are normally very humble and down to earth but unfortunately this time the bartenders were pompous.

10/10 recommended. If you're an open minded fun loving phenomenal human being you will come here and enjoy the luxury of cool bartenders, sexy dances, hip shows, pure entertainment, and karaoke too! Additionally they serve amazing small bites and the chicken quesadilla was top notch! Absolutely did the job on a late night snack/meal when I needed it. The bartenders Sam & Jordan are such gems! I adore them and always try to be here on days they are working! Can't wait to come back! So fun! Dance the night away!

Came here super late at night on vacation, Stephen was sooo sweet and patient, music was bumping, and the whole place was sooo cute! Will 100% be coming back JUST to see Stephen!!!

Lots of drugs here, service is not great. My friends and I ordered food from the kitchen and the older chef guy came out with the food. I told him which plate goes to who and he threw it down in front of us and said "I don't give a fuck, you figure it out".

Thank you Brandon for the outatanding service and not being judgmental cuz I ordered the ribs hahaha. Thank you for making us feel welcomed in this establishment and taking care of us! We shall be back!

As I mostly keep to myself because of my shyness, it is naturally difficult to be sociable. However, at Phoenix Bar I have been welcomed like nowhere else. Been going there for over eight years and it has become a home away from home for me. I do miss Eddie Velasco though. He was another who brought a smile to my face with his own million-dollar smile and kindness. I would not trade the friendships I have made there for all the gold and diamonds in the universe. Well, I do not have to because the friends I have made at Phoenix Bar ARE all the gold and diamonds in the universe. Much love!!!

Great place to hang put. The waiter is nice and he made good drinks too but he doesn't have any friends in town and I think he's going out

Stopped in on our way back to the hotel for a couple of drinks. Nice, friendly atmosphere, lively (if that's your thing) and some good music playing. It can be a little loud if you are trying to have a conversation. Bartenders are really nice and always checking up on you. No happy hour specials I reckon as well cocktails were priced at 5.50/ea for what appeared to be a double though. Parking seems a bit cramped and signs are posted not where to park in case of towing.

I don't even drink but I still love coming here for the food and entertainment! The staff and chef are so nice. The portions are huge for the price. When I got my leftovers to go the chef packed them up with "enjoy" in a heart written on the top. Can't beat this! Plus the free entertainment is always legit. 11/10!

Place was pretty clean and nice. But the bathrooms a different story. There was staff and patrons in and out all night doing drugs. The staff seemed amped up on stuff and were rude. This place may be a gay bar. But it seems more like a clicky brothel with drugs throughout it. The food was good at least. But then again maybe it was laced... All in all, not a good place

Really fun vibe. Bartenders were all super friendly and attentive. Made us feel like locals. Dalton had great recommendations for us while we're in town, too.

This place is awesome. I've been here a few times with some friends and it's always been a great time. I went there tonight by myself for a drink as I didn't have anything else to do and had a fun night. I don't usually socialize very much but the bartender Zoey made a point to have some conversation with me which was nice. Thank you for making me feel included even though I was by myself I appreciated it a lot! I meant to say goodbye and thank him but he was busy with the crowd that formed as the night went on. He's a great bartender, very friendly and makes you feel included. I'll definitely be back .

First time visiting this bar and we had a great Saturday night. Friendly bartenders(didn't get any names), great music and vibes. Looked up at monitors and saw that karaoke nights were i believe Thursday and Sunday nights so we were bummed. But hey we were in Vegas for another two days so visited again the next day! Had such a great time the second night as well. Everyone is friendly and oh so welcoming. Had lots of drinks and shots and tab was affordable. Will definitely be back. Thanks Phoenix for a wonderful time. You've got lifetime customers here now

It's a EVERYONE BAR! I waited to make my review, 5th visit and... Great time, fun atmosphere, day drinkers paradise. Very affordable AND Vegas's hidden secret ( well not anymore) cheapest entertainment on any given night. Bi-gay-straight LOVE IS LOVE Did I mention FOOD!!! How this place is number one in Las Vegas is the biggest SCAM!!! I should have been paid to endure the torturous karaoke... Bartender with Attitude... I don't have time for it. Earn that Tip!! LEAVE the bitchiness with your boyfriend or at home cuz it don't belong here.

This is my home bar and I highly recommend The Phoenix to both locals and tourists! I've been going here for years now.. No cover charge, delicious food and exquisite customer service from the entire staff! If you're LGBTQ+ or an ally, this is the place to be! ‍‍ Huge shoutout to all of my favorites! ‍‍ Iris, Shannon, Shane, Dalton, Jordan and Zoey!

Service was fast, and attentive for a Friday night. I really loved the poutine with egg and bacon! The mango drink with titos and kinky was great as well! Would recommend to friends. Great ambiance with the crowd and music!

Come see Sam in the afternoons for his specialty Bacardi Margaritas, it's a great neighborhood gay bar, with live entertainment and great pub food, this place was recommended by my friend - Kevin F.

Best 24hr bar. It's lgbt+ friendly, they have live shows and pool. Definitely recommendable for off the strip lounges.

The service was great, the drinks were delicious, and the pool/dart games in the back were super fun and affordable. I'll definitely be back.

3.4 stars. I love that they have a good menu. They have different things happening daily and it can range from karaoke to drag, shows, etc. Some of the bartenders don't know how to make drinks and some do. They charge different prices across-the-board not every bartender charges the same price for the same drink. One bartender I've dealt with previously has charged me $10, $12, $14 for the same exact drink. I've ordered many times. They do have a happy hour and I visited one day and the bartender at that time charged me five dollars for that same drink for the liquor I chose which is considered top shelf. I just think they all need to get on the same page and have a training with everyone on how to make classic cocktails, and how much they charge for them and what's included and what's not included in happy hour pricing. The bartenders are virtually very nice and friendly and some are very cute as well. They're actually very observant and helpful when they see somebody standing at the bar, which is very nice because a lot of places don't do that. If you put $20 in the machine and you're actually playing you get free well drinks, which I am not a fan of cheap liquor, but that's an option for some people. All-in-all not a bad place if you're with good friends, but it is a bit chaotic in this place at times. Also, love that they are smoke free now

I thoroughly enjoyed the food here, it's better than The Garage Bar. I'd totally recommend this bar..!!!! The service is good with the food runner staff delivering food to the customers. I totally appreciate that the entire bar doesn't smell of cigarette or cigar smoke the air is nice in here. Glad that there's multiple monitors to see what's on, but maybe less monitors with just ad's.

Been here for 3hours Sheila ( in house dj/karaoke) refused to put me on. I went to her booth 3x+tipss neiither called to preform.

Best bar in town! Kind people. This place has the best atmosphere and is very welcoming. Don't miss Sheila's karaoke that always has top talent singing every Thursday and Sunday night starting at 9 o'clock. The drinks are great and inexpensive and the food is delicious!

Racial Profiling!!! Came in on Sunday, January 8, 2023 around 2am or so...we were the only people of come color in the establishment...tell me why the bartender gave my card to someone else and charges started appear on my account before the night was even over! He swears up and down that he gave the card back to me...how could you possibly get confused??? We're the only black people here!!! Only go to this bar if you have CASH!!!

This bar is way too much fun! Good drink prices and fun bartenders! Its super small but big on character. The ladies who do the show are really pretty and have great personalities. Located on West Sahara and Arville. You'll be happy you stopped by! Highly recommend!

Dropped into the Phoenix for the first time. We were visiting from LA. Went on a Friday and came back for the Saturday night. That's how much we liked this place. Great entertainment, REALLY good affordable drinks, and as a bonus the bar food was amazing. All of the staff and regulars were super friendly. Will def return when in Vegas.

Needing something different I decided to stop here tonight. Not into labels and dealing with bars were all adults. Some just number wise. Looking to leave that scene seeking "bar serenity" I found it here. If the name is not striking enough the outside of the building is moving too. The Phoenix engulfs the bar and rises to serve cocktails and libations for all. When I walked in the haze from the black lights glares at you. Immediately I felt pride and happiness. The vibes here are compassionate, fun, and open. I don't know a more inviting joint! As I stood there taking in the ambiance of this new place; I was mentally looking for a place to sit. There are large booths, the bar, and a couch area. I chose the booth this time. Went to the bar counter to order my drink though. This is a regular bar and if you want the drink: "you" go order it and carry back to the table. That's fine with me. No issues here. The bartender was amazing and had a cheery attitude. How could he not? Surrounded by neon lights and rainbows! They have fantastic drink specials here; wow. From 2-7 pm; 7 days a week. It is but one get one free (of equal price). There are no limits either. Whether beer, mules, wine, or fufu cocktails! To take advantage of this offer then you need to be here and bring the paid receipt ticket back up to the bartender to order the free one. Simple. I did not order food came here for the drinks and alone time. I discovered both and a new place to sip my cocktails from a reclining chair. That's right a comfy chair in a bar; with my feet up. Nothing more relaxing than this. The music here is a mix of the oldies to the newest rap artists playing today. For the most part if you dig Madonna they play that mostly. There will be blocks of easy listening stuff; then new progressive music. Out of the blue Madonna again. She is a very talented artist and it was pleasant hearing those old songs from way way back. So of course I had a fantastic time; discovering yet again another fabulous experience for drinks. Here what I had: drink one was the Summer Delight ; drink two was the Kinky Mango. Drink one was slightly sweet and had a lot of foam while you enjoyed it. It was a great balance of all the flavors. Drink two was a bit sweeter. The sweetness in this drink as it sat for 15 minutes grew in sweetness as time pasted. I would try something else in drink two because of this. I chose this drink because of the name: that a little kink with my drink would hit the spot. Come and chill here: beat the heat in beautiful surroundings here at the Phoenix. Get some work done or dance with some friends. Enjoy your alcohol and the alchemy masters behind the bar. If you need food heard it's edible but will not kill you. Let the Phoenix Rise in your life

I've said it before and I'll say it again: The Phoenix is one of the coolest local bars I've ever been to. The fact that it is a "gay bar" does not eclipse the fact that it is also a "burner bar" meaning a bar that caters to the ethos of Burning Man as created by the gay (friendly) proprietors. Gay and straight people mix well here. It's got a great layout and very clearly everyone is welcome, but it's more than just lip service here, because they have lots of events for those that like a neighborhood Bar rather than a Club (and this place could actually serve as both). It's got food (and for bar food, it ain't bad). I'm a real fan of the the grilled cheese and tomato soup dish. It's also got two pool tables, a few booths for quartets or duets to have a little separation from the crowd and it also has high top tables and couches, so I guess it's also a lounge as well. Oh, did I mention that they also have a really spacious patio area outside as well. Since it's not actually ON the strip, when I say it's a neighborhood bar, it really is in a neighborhood. Although Sahara is a major street its far more neighborhood-y than the strip or downtown Vegas. They've also got plenty of parking and lots of lighting in the parking lot. It's a real treat of a place and also a perfect place to go if you're straight, but not narrow (minded).

This is an LGBT bar on Sahara near Chinatown. It's also "straight" friendly in case you're cool like that. I've been a patron to this bar for quite some time, on and off. It is a must try! They have drag shows, games, RuPaul showings, and many other events to keep you entertained. Of course the drinks are also great, but one of my favorite things here are the FOOD items. Their fish and chips are amazing! (Plus, the Cod they use is always fresh, never frozen!) If you haven't checked them out yet, you're missing out!

We had an absolute blast we came here one night my friend actually just came out and we decided to celebrate with a few drinks. We didn't know but I happen to be a night with a drag show so we stayed and enjoyed our night together. The place wasn't too crowded which was nice it switched from a lesbian to get a crowd pretty quick after the show but we still enjoyed it quite a bit. Everyone there was incredibly nice and positive however there wasn't much commingling between groups. The drinks weren't that strong that was may be our only complaint and even though we probably could've asked there were a lot of sugared up mixed drinks. I for sure will come back here really enjoyed the vibes is a great spot to be.

Ive been here all week... been to several karaoke bars..always left with wishing I woukd have stayed home... from long interlufes between songs...rude host...etc..As Uncanny as it sounds I walked into the Phoenix bar tonight not even knowing that Karaoke would be going on...and let me say, this was THEEEEEE BEST karaoke Ive been to in Las Vegas (Im a professional singer BTW) the host was exceptionally engaging with the audience and was an absolute pleasure to get acquainted with. If theres anyway near possible, Im hoping that the owner would consider giving her a raise, she is amazing at what she does!!!
