The Piano Bar Soho

Absolute dive. We were given the option of sitting at plastic chairs at a table shared with 6 other people or to sit in a room with no view of the musicians on beaten up college dorm couches. Was also forced to settle each round as it came or surrender my card for them to hold on to. Total tourist trap and absolutely never again.

Had a great time here listening to the live jazz music. The bar staff were sweet and managed everything really well. It’s a small place where the performance happens, the seats are close to the musicians and it’s amazing to watch them play. I highly recommend this place.

What a cute and cozy venue for live jazz music! Amazing and highly talented musicians/singers, great & so friendly service ! No food only beverage. A small townhouse in Soho with amazing jazz live music. You can book your tickets from £10 what is amazing consider the quality of the presentations. I’ve been there a few times and no regrets. There are some nice cocktails in the menu to enjoy while having an amazing early night out. It closes at 11PM. And there are always 2 books per night.

If you can’t afford to pay your staff, raise the prices, but don’t sneak in a 15% “service charge”! We sat down and waited a while, a waitress came over to take the order, and we had to pay before getting the wine or even seeing the receipt! It was only after that we realised they’d snuck 15% extra, and for what? The order and the delivery of the wine was the only time we saw staff. Service was non existent in the back room, and there were supposed to be screens during the show and they weren’t on. It could’ve been a cute date spot (and the jazz was good) but it felt like we’d been scammed.

10/10 would recommend! Booked a table here for my girlfriends birthday and wasn't disappointed, we had such a wonderful night! We saw an amazingly talented singer, pianist and trumpet player, they really created an intimate winter wonderland feel! Great cocktails and the staff were so attentive and polite. Already looking at when we can come back!

This place is an absolute discovery! Authentic, intimate atmospheric and sheer class! The finest musicians and service and I'll be back week after week for that and the Smoked Old-Fashioned! Got to mention Matt on violin, George on guitar, Leandro on base, Patrick on cocktails and Sophie on everything. Thank you!

Terrific, snug spot to enjoy some live music, conversation with friends, and great cocktails. The Piano Bar is a private club, but you can sign up to be a guest on its website (https://www.pianobarsoho.com/). If seats are available and you pay tenner, you can gain access. The bar is tiny--any more than three dozen folks will be standing room only. Expect to share a table with others, if you arrive as a couple. The smoked old fashioneds are some of the finest I've ever had. Served in a bell jar filled with smoke, the taste is spectacular. The live music is good and doesn't detract from the conversation. Bring a date and enjoy this stylish, romantic spot.

The absolute worst service I have ever received in my entire life followed by the waitress asking why we asked to have the DISCRETIONARY service charge removed. Abysmal.

Hidden gem in Soho, recently went here on a Friday evening. Booking is required, inside is lovely and drinks are very reasonably priced. The layout is different to most places, similar to a house, with different areas for seating which was cool. There was an amazing pianist for an hour followed by a live jazz band, they were also really good. Brill atmosphere and friendly staff, I would definitely go back again :-)
