11 Best Bars in Bermuda: Top Spots for Drinking Any Time of Day | Condé Nast Traveler

"If you walk into The Pickled Onion before 10 p.m., you're likely to see it set for dinner. But once the kitchen closes, most of the tables and chairs are removed to uncover a wooden dance floor that fills to the wee hours. This is one of the few late-night spots in the City of Hamilton that hosts a live band five nights a week. Belly up to the sleek bar to enjoy the music up-close, or grab a quiet seat on the open-air balcony, which has views of Hamilton Harbour." - David LaHuta

Drink are good depending who makes them. Food wasn’t the best I had the hind that was overly seasoned and salty😩. My colleagues had ordered steaks that were over cooked twice. Ordered medium got well done. Bar staff was great though, they saved the review I’ll give them a second try for eventually for a review update.

We were a group of 4. We ate outside with great views. It was busy but the service was great. I had a few items i wanted to change with my meal and it was not a problem. Food and drinks were beautifully presented and delicious.

I ducked into this restaurant to escape the summer heat. I ordered some fried Calamari and a lemonade. The calamari was delicious so were the sauces. The real star was the lemonade. The lemonade had just the right amount of tang and it was fizzy. I was not expecting my lemonade to taste so good.

I have a gluten allergy and they had a lot of options for me! Including gluten free pizza crust and gluten free buns for the sandwiches. I ended up with the nachos and they were pretty good. Honestly I just like having options besides salad so I really appreciated this. The rum swizzle was delicious as well.

I don’t normally write reviews but I’d like to save other tourists from wasting a dining experience here. Very overpriced, mediocre and uninspiring pub food. My wife and I came here for lunch and ordered the nachos to start… the shredded cheese was not melted, the salsa was more like a tomato sauce and it reminded me of something you’d make at home in the microwave (but not as good) The waitress then recommended a fish sandwich that was on the specials menu, I ordered it, and it was so underwhelming and bland that I took a few bites and pushed it aside. My wife ordered the sliders and described them as “fine.” All of this at very high prices. The icing on the cake was an additional charge, on top of the expected 17% gratuity, that was added to my CC. I’d recommend going elsewhere.

Awesome vegan tacos. Great music. Got seated right away. They put a cherry and lime in my diet Coke. Even the house salad (with their own dressing creation) was excellent. Good times.

The staff and food was amazing! We had to catch the ferry back to the royal naval dockyard, so we asked the staff what time it came and wound up having to rush our food otherwise we would’ve missed it back to our cruise. The staff was so helpful, rushed our food and check, and all even with to-go boxes! They were so awesome and caring - making sure we were out on time so we didn’t miss it! Amazing food too, bao buns were so flavorful. Definitely recommend if you’re visiting Hamilton and it is conveniently right next to the ferry!
