The Pineapple Hut

If you love pineapple, The Pineapple Hut is a must-visit. It’s fun, refreshing, and definitely Instagram-worthy. I couldn’t resist ordering the half pineapple filled with pineapple sherbet and topped with coconut flakes. I’ll admit—I’m more of an ice cream person, so sherbet isn’t usually my go-to. But the whole experience was still a treat. The flavors are tropical and light, and the presentation adds to the charm. Perfect for a hot day after the beach or just a fun stop while exploring Folly. Worth checking out, especially if you’re craving something fruity and unique.

I’ve been hearing about this place for ages and finally got to try it today while visiting Folly — and it absolutely did not disappoint! I went with a regular pineapple and cherry swirl, and it was sooo good. On such a hot day, it was the perfect sweet treat to help cool me down. Honestly, I’d eat this every day if I could. This spot is a must-visit when you’re in Folly!

After a couple hours on Folly Beach, perfect refreshing treat. We tried the float, whip with Tajin and whip with strawberry sauce in the pineapple. All ah-mazing! Thank you!

They were closed for about 45 minutes so I walked around a bit and came back to wait the remainder of time on a bench in front of the stand. It was definitely worth the wait. As soon as they opened back up I was first in line and by the time I finished ordering there were already another 15 people behind me. They definitely have a great reputation and the pineapple whip was delicious!!!!

Fun little treat that you can find right on Folly. We were craving something sweet after a dinner and saw this place had no line and decided to check it out. An affordable and light treat which is great after a hot day at the beach! I tried the plain and I think that was the way to go.

The Pineapple Hut is a great little food truck in Folly Beach that serves up pineapple-flavored dole whip (as well as other flavors) in creative ways! You can even get your dole whip served in a pineapple - check people’s pictures in their reviews!! It’s dairy-free, gluten-free, low-cholesterol, vegan, and it still tastes great!! This means it’s actually very low-calorie, healthy, and a perfect place to take your kids without feeling the guilt of giving them an unhealthy dessert. It’s right off the main road, very reasonably-priced, and totally worth your time. Check this place out next time you’re in Folly Beach!!

Delicious! I tried the pineapple whip served in a pineapple cause you have to just once! It was cute and very refreshing for a hot day at Folly. Super comparable to the Disney Dole Whip, but loved that it was dairy free. Next time I will just get the regular pineapple whip since the pineapple was just for the picture. Overall it was delicious and loved that I got to put sprinkles and coconut on my whip!

Have visited many times for a fun treat on Folly! The regular pineapple whip is delicious but made even better with strawberry or chocolate topping. (Which is surprisingly affordable at 25 cents.) They usually have a second flavor that rotates weekly. Chocolate is by far the best! The employees have always been friendly and helpful. Be sure to grab a punch card if you're a local!
