Google
Local spot, nice and quaint, great service, great food and drinks! Perfect spot for sitting outside on a beautiful sunny day, or inside as a pick me up on a rainy day. Perfect for dates or just sharing food with friends. I have been for brunch and dinner many times. I went with a friend and finally took pictures of my food! The plates are great for sharing, it was two of us for dinner and we had 3 plates to share and still had some left over to bring home. We had the clams, their seasonal salad, and the gnocchi. All of it was absolutely delicious, I can’t pick a favorite. The salad was so light and fresh, I loved the fact that the dressing was not overpowering, the ciabatta bread with the clams was fantastic, and the gnocchi was extra creamy and cooked to perfection! Will continue to rave about this place. Love it!

Google
Way overdue for this experience at Pink Dinghy! Made breakfast reservations and was seated as soon as we arrived. Warm, pleasant greetings from host & server. Their Painkiller cocktail was mixed perfectly....so refreshing! Really enjoyed the TWO EGG BREAKFAST (scrambled soft with cheese, yum!), TURKEY LINKS, CHEDDAR GRITS & WHEAT TOAST! Also the FRENCH TOAST HORCHATA BUTTER, SEASONAL FRUIT & the BACON EGG & CHEESE OVER EASY, ON A DELICIOUS BISCUIT, SERVED WITH HASH TOT! The meals came quickly & HOT!! The scrambled eggs were exceptional. I didn't try their DONUTS, but they were flying off the trays 😂🤣 so they have to be good! Highly recommended!!!

Google
The Pinky Dinghy is a true hidden gem! Adorable little spot with amazing food and drinks. We went for brunch and ordered the two egg breakfast, French toast & chicken biscuit. Everything was incredible. So many homemade items right down to the hot sauce. An absolute MUST in VB!!

The Pink Dinghy – A Must-Visit Gem in Virginia Beach! If you're anywhere near Virginia Beach—or even if you're not—The Pink Dinghy is worth the trip. The food here is beyond excellent. I had their fried chicken sandwich with an over medium egg, and let me tell you, it’s hands-down the best around. It’s drenched in hot honey, with just the right kick from jalapeños, and every bite is packed with incredible flavor. Truly unforgettable. And don’t even get me started on the homemade donuts—they are absolutely to die for. Fresh, soft, and perfectly sweet. The kind of treat you think about days later. On top of all that, the staff is incredible. Every single person I encountered was kind, courteous, and genuinely welcoming. It’s clear that good people run this place, and it makes the experience even better. Highly, highly recommend The Pink Dinghy. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop in. You won’t regret it.

Google
The Pink Dinghy or "the dinghy" as we've come to call it, is a wonderful option for a Sunday brunch. I have spent several sublime moments with a hot cup of coffee in hand as the sun warms my patio table, taking in all of the smells of the oceanside morning. Seabreeze, coffee brewing and bacon frying trust this local eat here and sit on the patio. Inside is cramped and claustrophobic for me but I'm a Lil antisocial.

Google
I am so happy I finally visited the Pink Dinghy! It was a gorgeous night, and I didn’t think to make a reservation ahead of time, but we were sat right away. Amazing drinks with beautiful presentation and fun flavor combinations, but a little pricey for the amount. I need to return for dinner and brunch, but the focaccia bread with a miso garlic butter was incredible. It is at the VB Oceanfront, so expect low flying jets and noise all the time. I look forward to returning and trying more delicious, craft cocktails. A fun aesthetic and perfect place for drinks and small shareables with friends 💗

Google
Wish there is a 4.5 overall rating; because I’d say for everything that went right: ambiance, service and menu variety and freshness of ingredients are all hands down rated 5 stars. The only small detail that wasn’t a perfect 5 was the chilaquile. The crispy portion of the tortilla was perfect, it provided the crunch that was great but the rest of the tortilla that had the refried beans was soggy. The pickled red onions and jalapeños were a great touch although with all the sauce, it was a tad too tart for my taste. Overall highly recommended to try all other items - I was kind of sad they ran out of grits so I didn’t try what would have been my first choice for brunch!

Google
Welp, this place is fantastic. We found the recommendation to try this tiny spot on FoodTok, then the Google reviews had us curious. We visited on a Thursday evening for drinks and dinner. The potato croquettes were an outstanding start and both of us loved our cantina cocktails. The curry calamari is giant and delicious and something you cannot miss. That being said, the burger was absolutely perfection! We will 100% be back, with our friends!

Yelp
Have been wanting to try The Pink Dinghy for awhile and man this place did NOT disappoint! I wish I took more pictures, but it's this cute little place (emphasis on little) right next to Three Ships Coffee. There's outdoor patio seating as well as indoor seating (literally looks like the inside of a dining room). You literally can't miss this place, it's the pinkest building out there! I only got the chilaquiles (the strawberry matcha lemonade was my friend's). Never had chilaquiles before but it was nothing short of amazing. The chips were soaked in salsa (but still crunchy!!!) so the flavor was great. A little spicy (I forgot to say no jalapeños because my tolerance is low). It typically comes with an egg but I ordered mine without one. This dish was perfectly balanced with the picked onions and the sauce! I loved everything about this dish. My only caveat is that if you're a slow eater (like me), the chips eventually do get soggy due to the juices and sauce. My server was great! I ate there on a Sunday morning right when they opened, thank goodness I made a reservation bc they were PACKED. Make sure you make a reservation (however you'll get charged a $25 fee per person for no shows). All in all this place was wonderful and I cannot wait to try it again. They also serve dinner! Did not realize this. Definitely want to try the dinner next time

Yelp
I'm at 3.5 stars. This is my first time visiting after years of having it on our try list. Drinks and coffee were great, as were service and cleanliness. We sat outside on the back patio because the inside was slammed! The biscuits and chorizo gravy were okay, the Chilaquiles looked terrific in many other reviews with a balance of crunch and soft; however, today must have been an off day it was straight soggy. I'll give them another shot but will try some other choices!

Yelp
Absolutely obsessed with this little gem! We popped in for brunch and tried the chilaquiles, fried chicken sandwich, shrimp & grits, and French toast--every single bite was fire. The chili honey on the fried chicken? LIFE-CHANGING. I sipped on the Paloma and it was so refreshing! The whole place has such a fun, laid-back vibe. Super cute aesthetic and good energy all around. 10/10 would recommend. Go hungry!

Yelp
Biscuit sandwiches are HUGE. Chicken biscuit was everything. Donuts are fresh on the weekends. Drink are well made. Service is sweet. Decor is retro.
google avatar

Yelp
Super small inside, recommend a reservation and having a small party. Menu is small but everything tasted great. Close to the dome if you are going to an event there.

Yelp
Wow! The aesthetic, the vibe, the food, the service, the parking, and how walkable the area is! The Pink Dinghy is a solid 5/5. The food is fresh and has such a creative touch.

Yelp
Loved my experience here! Such a charming and intimate spot. Seating is limited, so I recommend getting there soon after they open. Service was quick and attentive. I sat outside and ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the French toast-both were delicious! The pickled onion on the chicken was a perfect touch. And that donut? So fluffy and fresh. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I want to start by saying that I've only ever visited The Pink Dinghy for brunch although I do intend to try their dinner service at some point in the near future. My husband and I are real fans of this place. Not only is the location perfect, especially in the summer on market days, but it's also very quaint and charming with lots of character. It's one of those places where there's always something cute or interesting to look at. I absolutely LOVE their cold brew iced coffee. I don't know what it is -- but I'd visit them just for that. Bad Ass who? For brunch, my husband and I usually order the Fried Chicken Sandwich and Cuban and share both. It's the perfect amount of food in my opinion. I find the portions to be of value and even slightly on the larger side. The hash tots are good, but sometimes they're a bit much for what I am in the mood for, so we tend to stick to their crispy fries. My mother in law has also had the Shrimp and Grits and the Chilaquiles which she raved about! The cocktails are also fantastic and picture worthy. Pro tip: Don't forget to ask for the freshly made doughnut menu as soon as you arrive. If you wait until the end, they will likely be sold out of all or most of the flavors. All in all, I would recommend The Pink Dinghy for brunch. We always have great service and enjoy dining both inside and on the patio. I look forward to paying them another visit in the near future!

Yelp
Ambiance is amazing. Cute small clean fun - every dish, utensil feels curated. I can't explain it but even the staff seemed to fit the vibe. Went for breakfast - a simple sweet menu. The hash browns & biscuits are top tier. Cold brew and drip coffee, orange juice, & brunch cocktails available. People were coming in to the small counter for donuts, which we tried post-meal.

Yelp
SO GOOD! Wish I got pictures of my food, but the chicken sandwich was seriously incredible, best I've had. So much flavor, great portions. I had wonderful service, the vibes were immaculate. So cute and coastal with a very retro, but classy feel! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Got the matcha lemonade and egg cheese biscuit with tots. Lemonade was good, something different to try out. Biscuit was a little bit dry but still good. I liked the vibe overall, cute place to chill in a walkable area. Definitely will go back to try more dishes! Service was good as well.

Yelp
The Pink Dinghy 7/10 - Got the French toast which was just ok nothing special, definitely overpriced - My dad got the Shrimp and Grits which he said was great - The place is known for their donuts so I got some they were definitely great and had various flavors which are weekly - The place is really small, we had to sit outside luckily it didn't rain at that hour - service was great though overall

Yelp
First visit for Easter Sunday brunch; success! We made a reservation, as I thought it was going to be incredibly busy. However, it wasn't packed, but consistent. I'm a little perplexed why they don't have an espresso machine. Brunch places with no coffee drinks are kind of a miss IMO. My husband got the French toast with horchata butter which was very good, but also quite soggy. He didn't enjoy that the fruit on top was also served warm. I got the chicken biscuit with the hash tots which were phenomenal! The service was really great; very friendly and very fast. We did get 2 donuts to go but, I actually didn't care for them. The chocolate wasn't all that chocolate to me. I get they probably use less sugar...just not for me. Would definitely return to try a burger at some point.

Yelp
This place is a gem! It's really cute with a pretty color scheme and its decor. The staff were great. I came on a Sunday during brunch hours and I loved everything. My new favorite restaurant in VB. I ordered the Egg & Cheese breakfast entree and got a pancake w/ horchata butter on the side. I also ordered the Gin & Jam (cherry jam, lemon juice, simple syrup, gin). The drink was really tasty and light. The egg and cheese sandwich was so good - the egg was perfectly cooked. The biscuit definitely tasted homemade... although I might prefer this on an English muffin because it was so hearty. The hash tots were so good - I was surprised. I don't know how to describe the texture - it was bouncy? Delicious and not overly fried/greasy. Everything was seasoned well. I also liked the pancake and the horchata butter was delightful. Almost makes me want to cancel my dinner reservation elsewhere and come back.

Yelp
If you are thinking of trying this place, stop what you are doing and go! This place is tiny. And it fills fast. If in a funky part of town, I hear they block off the street in the summer for a street market. The food is fantastic and probably one of the best burgers I have had. The smash burger has two patties and just the right toppings; the bun is soft and buttery. I think the burger and fries are good for two people. The fried chicken sandwich is also excellent and suitable for 2--good job to whoever is in the back. The weird thing is that many Mexican things are on the menu, and Mexican beer is in the cooler. But it doesn't look or feel like a Mexican place. I plan on returning and trying something different; I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

Yelp
I absolutely love the Pink Dinghy! It is the perfect spot after a long day on the beach! It is the cutest restaurant in all of Virginia Beach! It's a very intimate spot but if the weather is nice they have lovely outdoor seating as well! The staff was so lovely and were very attentive to food allergies the table had! The past time I had an amazing margarita and fish boa buns! It's the perfect spot in Virginia beach for a slightly elevated meal!

Yelp
Cute little place located in the ViBE district with fast friendly service and delicious food. We stopped here before attending an exhibit at the convention center, and had an amazing brunch. We tried the chilaquiles, the brunch burger, and the churros for dessert. Our drinks consisted of the orange hibiscus mimosas, espresso martini, and their homemade cold brew with horchata cream. Everything was fresh and delicious, with generous portions and speedy execution. The noise was a bit of a problem though. The place is tiny and was stuffed to the brim with chatty people on this lovely Saturday, so it was very hard to hear the server or carry on a conversation. We probably won't dine inside again, but once it gets cooler, their patio is definitely worth checking out!
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic food!!! Small plates and still great size to share at the table. Service was on point, great bartender and you can tell it's local fare. Farm to table. Love the ambiance there, tables are community style but that is the vibe of the restaurant is your local neighborhood place. Highly recommend and looking forward to returning. Plus they have outdoor seating so I'm sure your furry one can join your meal.

Yelp
The Pink Dinghy was an amazing experience! It's in the cutest building, & the inside felt cozy and welcoming. We had a large party for a birthday dinner & the service was amazing. We tried the cocktails and everything on the food menu between our whole party. Everything was delicious! It's tapas style so come hungry & ready to share!

Amy W.

Yelp
This place has been on my must try list since I last been to Virginia Beach. Small location, must get here as it opens or consider waiting for a table. We were seated on the patio during the morning hour. Nice weather with a great selections of cocktails and drinks. I heard of these doughnuts they have, but didn't get any. Breakfast alone was enough for me. Large biscuit with a fried chicken filet drizzled in chili honey. Hash tots were something new for me and they were delightful. Come check them out! Staff is friendly and who wouldn't want to say, "meet me at the pink dinghy!"

Parris T.

Yelp
The hostess was so rude to us, really rude attitude. we walked in without a reservation and it wasn't very busy. We stood by the door for 30 seconds talking trying to find out where to go next, she told us to leave because she needed a clear walkway while it was pouring rain outside.
google avatar

Jackie S.

Yelp
We went here yesterday for lunch. A small little spot. My husband loved his sandwich, I thought the tacos were okay but we definitely had a good time. A must try. Service was excellent.
google avatar

Vi R.

Yelp
On 1/13/2024, I hosted a private birthday dinner at Pink Dinghy. Coordinating with the owner on every detail and she delivered. The food was the BEST. Every dish hit the spot. The dishes were a hit so much that we kept going back for a couple weekends. Highly recommend the Mushroom Pasta. The atmosphere is small intimate and very aesthetically pleasing.

Cory P.

Yelp
Always a great time. Loved the back patio, was a little hot today, but being able to bring our fur baby was worth it. (Yes, we had a bowl of water for her) I got the breakfast burger..... Amazing! The crispy hash browns on the burger was such a great touch. Always recommend stopping by when you are in town. You will get great service!

Yelp
I am so sad. I wanted to love this place but Service is SLOW, Like island time slow. Service is also unpredictable. It was kind of a warm day. You do not get an option of inside or outside seating. We got outside seating. That would have been ok if we had drinks while we were waiting. It took a while to get our drinks we ordered. And a while to get food. We got the fried Chicken Sandwich-Bread was pretty good. I like the butter flavor. Chicken was great, but thought it would be spicy because it said Jalapenos. Was very mild. Over all it was pretty good and the sandwich was a really good size. The fries were great. Also got the OG Sandwich- That was pulled pork, nice and tender. I like the plantains but again thought it would be a little spicy because it said Chipotle mayo. Both my husband and I thought things would be a bit more flavorful. We still enjoyed the OG and fries. We also got the spicy pineapple margarita. That was fantastic. Great flavor AND a perfect amount of spice. Now if everything would equal this drink this place would be a 5 star. It was a nice clean place and they did have a restroom. I am disappointed I had a 50 dollar gift card and I have NEVER used it. I did NOT know that they changed their computer system so all the gift card information is gone from the other computer system. SO my 50 dollar gift card was no good. I have never been anywhere that a giftcard goes from 50 dollars to nothing just because they changed their computer
google avatar

M K.

Yelp
Came in early -- one table occupied 20 open (including outside as weather was nice). Party of 1, asked for a table. Was told no tables for parties of 1, only bar stools! Place was empty. I left.
google avatar

Summer R.

Yelp
A gem of the Vibe District! It has a quaint, homey, mom-and-pop feel with the BEST food. The servers bring it to the next level with their personable personality's. Oh, and don't forget to grab one of their donuts on the way out!
google avatar

Yelp
5 Stars all around... Excellent Service, fantastic atmosphere, amazing food. This was our second time visiting for brunch and we can't wait to return in the coming weeks. On our first visit, we we're slightly bummed they had run out of grapefruit juice for a cocktail... we returned a month later and the manager, Cameron (sp?) , not only remembered us, but quickly informed me they had the grapefruit juice ! I couldn't believe it, because it was such a small thing on our previous visit. I was reluctant to write this review, because the place seems like it's still a hidden gem, but I had to recognize everyone for creating such a great place to have a meal. Look forward to returning soon !
google avatar

Alexandra R.

Yelp
One of my new favorite spots in Hampton Roads! Really excellent high quality food in a relaxed spot with a heavy "vacation" vibe. We ordered a spread of the menu: Housemade foccacia, Carrots with whipped goat cheeae and chimichurri, French Onion Labne Dip with Lamb Kofta, Brussels with Chorizo, the burger, "Fancy Fries," and the Scallops. Everything was so good, it was hard to even pick a favorite. I will say that scallops are not my cup of tea but these were phenomenal... the scallops, the broccolini, the parmesan risotto... The burger was also one of the best I've had in the area. They have a great cocktail menu and some insanely cheap happy hour specials, including the Painkiller and Paloma, pictured. Service was super friendly and efficient. This is a great spot for a casual date night, and I felt totally fine having our young son with us. Looking forward to coming back soon!
google avatar

Yelp
I had the best dinner I've had in a while last weekend at The Pink Dinghy. Everything from the food to the service, to the ambiance was amazing. I recommend coming in with a reservation as their dining area is pretty small; furthermore, be aware that you may have to sit communal style next to another party since their dining area is so small. Our server, Christiana, was very accommodating and even put an extra table setting at the end of the table so my friends and I could be served right away. She really provided us with top-notch service. Now, baybee! Let's talk about the food. The house-made focaccia bread was so good we had to grab a second order. The brussel sprouts were some of the best I ever had (I would've never thought to pair them with chorizo, the flavor profile was *Chef's kiss*). The smash burger and fries were also very good and filling. The fries had that battered crispness I like in a french fry and the old bay seasoning on top made it perfect. My only slight criticism of the food is that the meat in the Smashburger could've been a little more seasoned, but I got a side of chipotle aïoli and I was truly satisfied by the end of the meal. I want to come back here for brunch on a nice day with some friends, sit outside, and try one of the house-made donuts they're known for.

Yelp
Chic and fun establishment! My waiter was very helpful and accommodating! I really enjoyed the lamb pita with veggies. Try the secret desire drink, garnished with dried citrus. Everything photographs beautifully!

Yelp
I wanted to visit Pink Dinghy a couple more times before submitting a review, but I never get out to the Oceanfront. I was hopeful I'd make an exception for PD, but it wasn't in the cards. So I'll go ahead and give a review based on my lone visit. I hit up PD on 4/20/21, right after I received my 2nd COVID vaccine shot at the VB Convention Center. A friend of mine got his 2nd shot there, too, so we made plans to get lunch afterwards. I was tasked with choosing our lunch spot, so I chose Pink Dinghy after reading some glowing Yelp reviews. PD is on 19th St and about 4-5 blocks away from the ocean. It's a tiny place with maybe 20 seats, but they offer outdoor seating (it was a little windy with occasional drizzle, so we stayed inside). We were seated right away and initial table greet was instant. Our server was nice and explained the menu items with ease, so we were well-informed when we chose our meals. From what I can tell, PD has a rotating menu. An item may be offered one day but will be gone the next - that kind of deal. So I wouldn't get too attached to an entree (honestly, it's easy to become attached to Pink Dinghy's food) because it may not be available when you come in. Since it was lunch, I settled on an Al Pastor sandwich with braised pork (that I still can't get over). My friend had a spicy chicken sandwich, which he raved about. We were in a festive mood, so we had a drink - I had the Cherry Bomb (cruzan white rum, cherry simple, lemon, bubbles); my friend had the Pink Drink (gunpowder gin, hibiscus simple, lime). We both enjoyed our meals and were happy with our drinks and service. I need to get out to PD again because they are a fantastic restaurant with a great grasp of food and flavors. Service is awesome and I like the coziness of their building. Thank you, Pink Dinghy. JV

Yelp
Although reservation was made on Resy, they didn't have our reservation. We were told we could sit at the community table inside or we could sit outside. We chose to sit outside on a table by ourselves. Then when I tried to order their special that was advertised, I was told they didn't have it... ugh

Yelp
It's a cute spot with good cocktails. But the food was lackluster at best. We were excited to try this place but the food fell way short. It's so expensive for the quality of food.
google avatar

Sarah Z.

Yelp
Super cute restaurant with great locally sourced food located in the ViBe District of Virginia Beach. The exterior of the restaurant with its millennial pink color and cute greenery already spoke to me. Upon entering the restaurant, it's even cuter inside. It's a pretty small spot, enough to maybe fit 4-5 parties at most? They have very unique wine offerings and you can see the bottles on a shelf. Lots of greenery in this place. Food wise, I was surprised. Their shrimp tacos were so good! The shrimps were big and fresh. So good, we tried to order takeout a second time but they were doing dine in only. Note: make sure you check their hours because they do have pretty different hours every day where they're closed between lunch and dinner time. They do not offer takeout.

Yelp
I have heard nothing but great things about this restaurant for years, and I've been waiting for a girl's night out to go. My friend and I went for her birthday on Saturday night. We made a reservation on Resy (make sure you show up for your reservations otherwise there is a charge!!) and were immediately sat. The restaurant is smaller with an open kitchen layout and a communal table in the middle. There is outdoor seating but we decided to go on a very rainy weekend and opted for a seat inside. Our server greeted us quickly and gave us a run down of the menu. She recommended that eat person order 2-3 plates since it is a small plate type of dining experience. We shared a bottle of the Populis White Blend for $40 and we loved the mildly sweet but slightly dry taste. We shared the calamari which was covered in massaman curry, radish, cabbage, peanuts, and herbs. My friend has a tree nut allergy but is able to peanuts and our server made sure to confirm all the dishes my friend was going to eat did not have tree nuts! The calamari was crispy and had such a deliciously unique flavor. Our main dishes were the gnocchi with chorizo cream sauce and mushrooms and spaghetti with caramelized onion butter and Parmesan. We shared both of the dishes and it was easily some of the best pasta that we had ever had. We ate three dishes total and were more than full when we were done! This place blew us away and I cannot recommend the Pink Dinghy enough.

Yelp
Just incredible. Everything we had was perfect. Great balance on all of the food and the portions were very generous for the cost. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Adorable little brunch place. Hipster spot that reminds me of the ones we'd go to in San Diego's North Park neighborhood, so it already gets bonus points in my heart. Small menu but that means they get to focus on a handful of awesome dishes to serve. Cocktails were yummy as well, as I got the matcha colada cocktail on the menu. Service was nice and food was served super quickly. Highly recommend the little tots they serve to go with whatever dish you order for brunch. They also have donuts for you to order to go, all of them are made up of some unique flavors. We will be back for sure for another brunch here!
google avatar

Yelp
The food here is GREAT, and seating isn't terrible, they will try their best to accommodate your party, never anything wrong with that aspect but I feel that the service could be better at times, even when slow I feel like the team there isn't so friendly/interactive. It could just be a personal experience though!

Aimee B.

Yelp
Great little place. Excellent food excellent service! Parking not easy in the area- get there early!

Yelp
The shrimp and grits is a 10/10 dish. Amazing service and just a beautiful atmosphere overall. I would highly recommend and would certainly return.

Yelp
The cutest brunch spot for a girls day! The donuts were amazing and everything was quickly delivered!!

Yelp
One of my favorite places to eat in Virginia Beach. The food is always unique, tasty, and never disappoints. The inside is small, super cute and decorative and very chic. Definitely a place to take the girls out for Valentines. The only thing is, it's really small. The service is great too, the servers are always attentive.

Yelp
We were visiting Virginia Beach and all our friends recommended The Pink Dinghy for breakfast/brunch. It's in the Vibe district, which is super cute and we walked through a very nice Farmers Market on our way to breakfast. The staff were all incredibly friendly and worked with us to get a table outside without a reservation. It's a really popular place, so I highly recommend you make a reservation! 5/5 Shrimp & Grits - really delicious entree for a savory, filling, breakfast. I'm a real Southern purist when it comes to my grits (salt, pepper, butter, peppers ), but I was pleasantly surprised by the tomato chile sauce and the addition of chorizo. Fantastic dish! 4/5 Al Pastor Sandwich - huge portion, loaded with delicious filling, but a bit soggy from either sitting too long before serving or too much oil/juice from the meat). Great entree for the price!

Yelp
I have passed this place so may times and didn't even realize that this obnoxiously cute pink building was a trendy café. Although this spot has an unusually small dining room they make up for that with patio seating in the front and back of the café. We ordered two Fried Chicken Biscuits $12, unfortunately they had already sold out of biscuits, so we were offered brioche buns. We were okay with the change until we realized the biscuits were necessary. This sando only comes with the fried chicken and a drizzle of spicy honey. The Brioche bread lacked the flakiness of a biscuit so the sandwich completely fell flat. The fried chicken was amazing. Seasoned and fried well, so I'd give them another try and make it in earlier. They close at 3p and reopen for dinner at 5p, I think we arrived at 1p. Also Note: They only do "Create your own Breakfast Sando" for takeout. Our server was the bartender, she was pleasant and graceful in her drink preparation. Every drink she made looked enticingly good. We went for a chilled Pinot Noir, elegant and herbal. I'm excited to return and explore the menu, the flavors and service were definitely there.

Yelp
My only complaint is that I wasn't hungry enough to try the whole menu. After months of wanting to check out The Pink Dinghy, I finally got there on a week night around 8pm. We were seated immediately without a reservation and our server was fantastic. I immediately fell in love with the ambiance and decor, which is overly pink (makes sense), but not tacky. Since we were super hungry, we just tried a few veggie apps and the house-made focaccia. The focaccia was absolutely incredible. So soft with a nice crunch on the exterior and served with. salty, flavorful "butter of the day". We also got the fried green tomatoes and the brussels sprouts, both of which were super uniquely prepared and wonderfully flavorful. I'm already excited to come back and explore more of the menu.

Yelp
Foods pretty good. Not super comfortable inside and you can't sit outside unless you order brunch on a Saturday which is understandable but I bought a coffee and donut and would have liked to sit down at one of the many open tables. Instead I was shooed away
